1. A method, at a femtocell transceiver device comprising a Home Node B (HNB), comprising:
transmitting a first message to an HNB gateway (HNB-GW) comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaption (PUA); and
receiving a second message from said HNB GW in response to said first message indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the second message indicates that the HNB-GW does not support PUA messages.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the second message does not comprise parameters related to PUA support.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein said first message comprises a Home Node B Application Part (HNBAP) HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein said second message comprises an HNBAP HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the second message comprises one or more parameters indicating that the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
7. The method of claim 6, and further comprising commencing transmitting PUA messages to said HNB-GW based, at least in part, on the one or more parameters indicating that the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
8. The method of claim 5, wherein said HNBAP HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message further comprises one or more parameters indicating available location servers.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein the one or more parameters indicating the available location servers comprise a server identification, and a list of positioning methods supported by each server.
10. The method of claim 5, wherein said HNBAP HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message further comprises a reserved International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) value or a reserved International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) value to be used by the HNB in at least one positioning operation.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein the at least one positioning operation comprises determination of a location estimate for a user equipment device.
12. The method of claim 10, wherein the at least one positioning operation comprises determination of a location estimate for the HNB.
13. The method of claim 10, wherein the at least one positioning operation comprises providing positioning assistance data.
14. The method of claim 10, and further comprising transmitting a PCAP Position Calculation Request message to the HNB-GW including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
15. The method of claim 10, and further comprising transmitting a PCAP Information Exchanging Initiation Request message to the HNB-GW including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
16. The method of claim 10, and further comprising transmitting a PCAP Position Initiation Request message to the HNB-GW including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
17. A femtocell transceiver device configured as a Home Node B (HNB) device, comprising:
a network adapter to transmit messages to and receive messages from a data communication network; and
one or more processors to:
initiate transmission of an first message to an HNB gateway (HNB-GW) comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaption (PUA); and
obtain an second message received at said network adapter from said HNB GW in response to said first message indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
18. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 17, wherein the second message indicates that the HNB-GW does not support PUA messages.
19. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 18, wherein the second message does not comprise parameters related to PUA support.
20. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 17, wherein said first message comprises a Home Node B Application Part (HNBAP) HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
21. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 17, wherein the second message comprises an HNBAP HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message.
22. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 17, wherein the second message comprises one or more parameters indicating that the HNB-GW can support PUA messages.
23. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 22, wherein said one or more processors are further to initiate commencement of transmission of PUA messages to said HNB-GW based, at least in part, on the one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW can support PUA messages.
24. The femtocell transceiver device of claim 22, wherein said second message further comprises a reserved International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) or a reserved International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) value to indicate support of one or more positioning operations.
25. The femtocell transceiver of claim 24, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise computation of a location estimate.
26. The femtocell transceiver of claim 24, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise providing positioning assistance data.
27. The femtocell transceiver of claim 24, wherein the one or more processors are further to initiate transmission a PCAP Position Calculation Request message through said network adapter to the HNB-GW including said IMSI or IMEI value.
28. The femtocell transceiver of claim 24, wherein the one or more processors are further to initiate transmission of a PCAP Information Exchanging Initiation Request message through said network adapter to the HNB-GW including said IMSI or IMEI value.
29. The femtocell transceiver of claim 24, wherein the one or more processors are further to initiate transmission of a PCAP Position Initiation Request message through said network adapter to the HNB-GW including said IMSI or IMEI value.
30. A femtocell transceiver device configured as a Home Node B (HNB) device, comprising:
means for transmitting an first message to an HNB gateway (HNB-GW) comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaption (PUA); and
means for receiving an second message from said HNB GW in response to said first message indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
31. A non-transitory storage medium comprising machine-readable instructions stored thereon which are executable by a special purpose computing apparatus of a femtocell transceiver device configured as a Home Node B (HNB) to:
initiate transmission of a first message to an HNB gateway (HNB-GW) comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaption (PUA); and
obtain a second message received from said HNB GW in response to said first message indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
32. A method comprising, at a Home Node B gateway (HNB-GW), comprising:
receiving a first message from a Home Node B (HNB) device comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaption (PUA); and
transmitting a second message to said HNB device in response to said first message comprising one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
33. The method of claim 32, wherein said one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW can support PUA messages comprises an HNB-GW PUA Support Indicator.
34. The method of claim 32, and further comprising receiving PUA messages from said HNB device based, at least in part, on the one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW can support PUA messages.
35. The method of claim 32, wherein said second message further comprises a reserved International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) value or a reserved International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) value to be used by the HNB in support of one or more positioning operations.
36. The method of claim 35, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise computation of a location estimate.
37. The method of claim 35, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise providing positioning assistance data.
38. The method of claim 35, and further comprising receiving a PCAP Position Calculation Request message from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
39. The method of claim 35, and further comprising receiving a PCAP Information Exchanging Initiation Request message from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
40. The method of claim 35, and further comprising receiving PCAP Position Initiation Request message from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
41. The method of claim 32, wherein said first message comprises a Home Node B Application Part (HNBAP) HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
42. The method of claim 32, wherein said second message comprises an HNBAP HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message.
43. A Home Node B gateway (HNB-GW) device, comprising:
a network adapter to transmit messages to and receive messages from a data communication network; and
one or more processors to:
obtain a first message received at said network adapter from a Home Node B (HNB) device comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaptation (PUA); and
initiate transmission of a second message through said network adapter to said HNB device in response to said first message comprising one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
44. The HNB-GW device of claim 43, wherein said one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW can support PUA messages comprises an HNB-GW PUA Support Indicator.
45. The HNB-GW device of claim 43, wherein said one or processors are further to obtain PUA messages received at said network adapter from said HNB device based, at least in part, on the one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW can support PUA messages.
46. The HNB-GW device of claim 43, wherein said second message further comprises a reserved International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) value or a reserved International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) value to be used by the HNB in support of one or more positioning operations.
47. The HNB-GW device of claim 46, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise computation of a location estimate.
48. The HNB-GW device of claim 46, wherein at least one of the one or more positioning operations comprise providing positioning assistance data.
49. The HNB-GW device of claim 46, wherein said one or more processors are further to obtain a PCAP Position Calculation Request message received at said network adapter from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
50. The HNB-GW device of claim 46, wherein said one or more processors are further to obtain a PCAP Information Exchanging Initiation Request message received at said network adapter from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
51. The HNB-GW device of claim 46, wherein said one or more processors are further to obtain and further comprising receiving PCAP Position Initiation Request message from the HNB device including said reserved IMSI or IMEI value.
52. A Home Node B gateway (HNB-GW) device, comprising:
means for receiving a first message from a Home Node B (HNB) device comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaptation (PUA); and
means for transmitting a second message to said HNB device in response to said first message comprising one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.
53. A non-transitory storage medium comprising machine-readable instructions stored thereon, which are executable by one or more processors of a Home Node B gateway (HNB-GW) to:
obtain a first message received from a Home Node B (HNB) device comprising one or more parameters requesting support for Positioning Calculation Application Part (PCAP) transport over PCAP User Adaptation (PUA); and
initiate transmission of a second message to said HNB device in response to said first message comprising one or more parameters indicating whether the HNB-GW is capable of supporting PUA messages.

1. A method for creating jamming within an area, the method comprising:
distributing a plurality of jammers to form a group in which each of the jammers can be arranged to transmit a jamming signal,
establishing communication directly between the jammers,
transferring information from one jammer to the other jammers, and
superposing the transferring of information on the jamming signal produced by the one jammer.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the information is superposed on the jamming signal produced by the jammer by modulating the jamming signal.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the jamming signal comprises jamming pulses, wherein the superposed information affects characteristics of the jamming pulses with regard to amplitude, pulse length andor distance between pulses.
4. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:
allocating a master function to one of the jammers in the group.
5. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:
initially allocating to all the jammers in the group of jammers a slave function with a possibility of one of a plurality of jammers changing later to a master function in response to the other jammers comprised in the group of jammers.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the jammers are distributed by being fired out.
7. The method according to claim 1, wherein the jammers are distributed by a shell.
8. The method according to claim 1, wherein information transferred between jammers is utilized for controlling the transmission of jamming signals by the jammer that receives the information.
9. A jamming arrangement, comprising:
a plurality of communicating jammers intended to be distributed over an area, each jammer comprising a transmitter, a receiver and a logic unit, wherein the transmitter comprises an information-superposing unit configured to superpose information on a jamming signal of a transmitting jammer for transferring the information between communicating jammers.
10. The jamming arrangement according to claim 9, wherein each jammer comprises a jamming pulse generator for generating a jamming signal in the form of jamming pulses and a modulator that acts on the jamming pulse generator and is comprised in the information-superposing unit.
11. The jamming arrangement according to claim 9, wherein the receiver in each jammer comprises a detector configured to detect information superposed on a received jamming signal.
12. The jamming arrangement according to claim 11, wherein the receiver comprises a dynamic damping unit arranged before the detector in the path taken by the signal.
13. The jamming arrangement according to claim 11, wherein the detector comprises a demodulator.
