a dispersant and neutralizer component consisting of a surfactant.
2. The process of claim 1, further comprising the step of contacting said acid mine drainage with an oxidation component consisting of an oxidizing agent in an amount of up to 15% by weight of said mixture selected from the group consisting of calcium peroxide, potassium permanganate, and hydrogen peroxide.
3. The process of claim 1, wherein said neutralizer and binder component has a neutralizer potential of 78%.
4. The process of claim 1, wherein said steel slag is a plurality of finely processed particles formed at least as a 200 mesh powder.
5. The process of claim 1, wherein said lime component contains particles sized than one-quarter of an inch.
6. The process of claim 5, wherein said lime component has a neutralizing potential of 72%.
7. The process of claim 1, wherein said sodium carbonate is sized in the range of a 200 mesh powder to one-quarter inch flakes.

The claims below are in addition to those above.

1-155. (canceled)
156: A wireless communication system comprising:
a plurality of communication stations, wherein each of said plurality of communication stations includes a receiver that executes a receiving operation for a predetermined period of time after transmitting a signal, and
if another signal has not been transmitted during said predetermined period of time, said receiver is configured to be stopped until an occurrence of at least one of a next signal receiving time and a next signal transmitting time.
157: The wireless communication system according to claim 156 wherein the transmitted signal includes beacon information.
158: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein each of said plurality of communication stations that is connected to a network is configured to send different occurrences of a beacon signal at approximately a constant time interval.
159: The wireless communication system according to claim 158, wherein each of said plurality of communication stations continues a receiving operation over longer than a predetermined beacon transmission time interval more than once during a time of a transmission frame.
160: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein
any of said plurality of communication stations that has recognized an impending occurrence of a beacon transmission schedule time from another station by referencing an internal clock value transmits information for disabling transmission from a peripheral station for a certain period of time.
161: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein
if each of said plurality of communication stations holds information therein addressed to another particular station, each receiver at respective of said plurality of communication stations executes receiving processing at a time when said another particular station transmits a beacon, and
when the beacon transmission by said another particular station ends, each of the plurality of communication stations attempts transmission of the information held therein to said another particular station in accordance with a specified procedure.
162: The wireless communication system according to claim 161, wherein said information to be transmitted after the end of the beacon transmission by said another particular station is information higher in priority than ordinary data.
163: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein for each of said plurality of communication stations, by detecting a signal transmitted from another station by operating the receiver for a predetermined period of time before the transmission of a signal, access control is executed so as to prevent a collision in packet communication timing with another station.
164: The wireless communication system according to claim 163, wherein for respective of said plurality of communication stations, an attempt is made for transmission immediately after a change from a sleep state to an active state, it is confirmed whether a media is clear for a period of time equivalent to a specified maximum signal length.
165: The wireless communication system according to claim 163, wherein,
if each of said plurality of communication stations holds information therein addressed to another particular station, each of said plurality of communication stations attempts to transmit the information held therein to said another particular station in accordance with a predetermined procedure immediately before a beacon transmission time of said another particular station.
166: The wireless communication system according to claim 165, wherein said information to be transmitted after the end of the beacon transmission by said another particular station is information higher in priority than ordinary data.
167: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein, in transmitting information, each of said plurality of communication stations attempts transmission to a station that has recognized that a transmission destination station is executing a receiving operation.
168: The wireless communication system according to claim 156, wherein said each of said plurality of communication stations attempts to receive a beacon from another station recognized thereby.
