1. A mobile terminal device comprising:
a short-range communication unit which performs direct short-range communication with an other communication terminal;
a long-range communication unit which performs long-range communication with another communication terminal through a network;
a table in which information on a possessor is registered;
a detection unit which detects an other communication terminal through the short-range communication unit; and
a notification unit which creates information on a recent event of the possessor based on a detection result of the detection unit and information registered in the table, and notifies a predetermined communication terminal of the created information through the long-range communication unit.
2. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, further comprising an acquisition unit which acquires communication-partner identification information from an other communication terminal through the short-range communication unit when the detection unit detects that the other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device, and wherein
the notification unit creates neighborhood information indicating that the other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device based on the communication-partner identification information acquired through the acquisition unit and information registered in the table, and notifies a predetermined communication terminal of the neighborhood information through the long-range communication unit.
3. The mobile terminal device according to claim 2, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not communication-partner identification information registered in the table beforehand is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that a registered communication partner is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines that the registered communication-partner identification information is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information.
4. The mobile terminal device according to claim 2, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not information other than communication-partner identification information registered in the table beforehand is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that an unknown communication partner, which is not a registered communication terminal, is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines that information other than the registered communication-partner identification information is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information.
5. The mobile terminal device according to claim 4, wherein the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that an unknown communication partner, which is not a registered communication terminal, is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines continuously for a predetermined time that the acquired communication-partner identification information is not communication-partner identification information registered in the table.
6. The mobile terminal device according to claim 2, wherein the notification unit starts notification when the detection unit detects that an other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device.
7. The mobile terminal device according to claim 2, further comprising a recording unit which sequentially records communication-partner identification information acquired by the acquisition unit, and wherein
the notification unit read out individual communication-partner identification information sequentially recorded at predetermined timings, and notifies a predetermined communication terminal of the read-out communication-partner identification information collectively.
8. The mobile terminal device according to claim 2, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not the communication-partner identification information acquired by the acquisition unit is new communication-partner identification information, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that a new communication partner is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines that the acquired communication-partner identification information is new communication-partner identification information.
9. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not a detection result by the detection unit satisfies a plan condition registered in the table and including identification information of a person supposed to meet or leave the possessor, and wherein
the notification unit creates activity information indicating an activity in accordance with a plan based on a detection result by the detection unit and a determination result by the determination unit, and notifies a predetermined communication terminal of the activity information through the long-range communication unit.
10. The mobile terminal device according to claim 9, wherein
the plan condition includes at least either one of a time span or a place designated beforehand, and
when the detection unit determines that an other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device under a circumstance satisfying the plan condition, the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of information to that effect.
11. The mobile terminal device according to claim 9, wherein
the plan condition includes at least either one of a time span or a place designated beforehand, and
when the detection unit determines that no other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device under a circumstance satisfying the plan condition, the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of information to that effect.
12. The mobile terminal device according to claim 9, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not communication-partner identification information registered in the table beforehand is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that a registered communication partner is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines that the registered communication-partner identification information is included in the acquired communication-partner identification information.
13. The mobile terminal device according to claim 9, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not the communication-partner identification information acquired by the acquisition unit is new communication-partner identification information, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of neighborhood information indicating that a new communication partner is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device when the determination unit determines that the acquired communication-partner identification information is new communication-partner identification information.
14. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, further comprising a determination unit which determines whether or not an other communication terminal detected by the detection unit is a predetermined communication terminal registered in the table beforehand, and wherein
when the determination unit determines that presenceabsence of the predetermined communication terminal changes, the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of that change through the long-range communication unit.
15. The mobile terminal device according to claim 14, wherein when the determination unit determines that a state where the predetermined communication terminal is absent changes to a state where the predetermined communication terminal becomes present, the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of that change.
16. The mobile terminal device according to claim 14, wherein when the determination unit determines that a state where the predetermined communication terminal is present changes to a state where the predetermined communication terminal becomes absent, the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of that change.
17. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a time acquisition unit which acquires information on a current time; and
a position acquisition unit which acquires information on a current position, and wherein
the notification unit notifies a predetermined communication terminal of time information acquired by the time acquisition unit and position information acquired by the position acquisition unit together with the created information.
18. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, further comprising a mode setting unit which sets a predetermined operation mode, and wherein
when a predetermined operation mode is set by the mode setting unit, the detection unit detects whether or not an other communication terminal is present in the vicinity of the mobile terminal device.
19. A remote notification method comprising the steps of:
detecting whether or not an other communication terminal is present in the neighborhood through a direct short-range communication with the other communication terminal; and
creating information on a recent event of a possessor based on a result of the detection and information on the possessor, and notifying a predetermined communication terminal of the created information through a long-range communication.
20. A recording medium recording a program which allows a computer to realize:
a function of performing direct short-range communication with an other communication terminal;
a function of performing long-range communication with another communication terminal device through a network;
a function of detecting whether or not an other communication terminal is present in the neighborhood through a short-range communication;
a function of creating information on a recent event of a possessor based on a result of the detection and information on the possessor, and of notifying a predetermined communication terminal of the created information through a long-range communication.

1. A safety device for a whirlpool bathtub, a spa, or a swimming pool having a suction device, the safety device comprising:
a perforated cover having water flow through passages;
a filter media having a front surface and a rear surface, the rear surface of the filter media is configured for direct abutment with an existing faceplate of a suction fitting and for placement in a parallel manner to the cover and the faceplate so as to have the same water flow direction from the front of the water flow through passages to the back of the existing faceplate, the filter media is configured to about the size of the existing faceplate, the filter media is capable of accommodating a high velocity water flow, the filter media is configured to not restrict water flow out a water return fitting by more than 35% when the high velocity water flow is passing through the filter, the filter media is configured to filter debris that provides a source for bacteria growth in a closed loop piping system, the filter media is configured to prevent hair from going through the filter in a manner to get entrapment in the existing faceplate; and
means functioning to keep the filter media in direct abutment with the existing faceplate and to keep the cover and the filter media mounted in a parallel manner to the existing faceplate until a user removes the filter media from the existing faceplate.
2. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter contacts the water flow through openings of the existing faceplate when water is passing through the filter.
3. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is configured to conform to about the shape of the existing faceplate covering all water flow through passages in the peripheral edge of the existing faceplate when water is passing through the filter.
4. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is about the size of the existing faceplate and accommodates water flow of 70 gallons per minute.
5. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is about the size of the existing faceplate and accommodates water flow of over 80 gallons per minute up to 200 gallons per minute.
6. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is flexible and configured to filter all water goes therethrough before entering the existing faceplate.
7. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is flexible.
8. The cover of claim 1, wherein the means functioning to keep the cover on the existing faceplate comprises a hook and loop type material.
9. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is made out of a material that stretches.
10. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is configured to snuggly fit over the existing faceplate.
11. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is about the size of the existing faceplate for accommodating about 70 gallons per minute water flow and configured to increase vacuum pressure on a suction line by less than 5 inches of mercury.
12. The cover of claim 1, wherein the whirlpool bathtub, spa, or swimming pool further comprises a water pump draws water in through the front surface of the filter, in a direct line through the water passages in the front surface of the existing faceplate.
13. The cover of claim 1, wherein the filter media is non-pleated and substantially flat.
