What is claimed is:
1. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of liquid crystal cells,
a back light that irradiates the liquid crystal display panel with irradiation light,
wherein said back light includes:
a light source, and
a light guide plate having one side arranged adjacent said light source and having a planar surface with a plurality of small concaves, said planar surface being almost parallel to a liquid crystal cell face, and wherein a plane shape of said small concaves is almost rectangular.
2. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, wherein a lower portion of said small concaves has a length in a direction that is parallel to an axis of illumination of said light source in the range of 80-800 m, and a length in a direction that is perpendicular to the axis of illumination of said light source of 60 m or less.
3. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, wherein said small concaves have a depth in the range of 5-20 m.
4. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, wherein side surfaces of said small concaves have an inclination angle in the range of 20-35.
5. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, wherein said small concaves have surfaces with a face coarseness of RA<0.4 m.
6. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, wherein said small concaves are randomly arranged.
7. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, further comprising:
a polarizer film of a reflection type which is arranged on the side of the light guide plate light-transmissive surface of the light guide plate.
8. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, further comprising:
a cholesteric liquid crystal film which is arranged on the side of the light guide plate light-transmissive surface of the light guide plate.
9. A liquid crystal display according to claim 1, further comprising:
a cholesteric liquid crystal film and phase plate which is arranged on the side of the light guide plate light-transmissive surface of the light guide plate.
10. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of liquid crystal cells;
a back light that irradiates said liquid crystal display panel with irradiation light;
a prism sheet which is located between said liquid crystal display panel and said back light;
wherein said back light includes:
a light source;
a light guide plate having one side arranged adjacent said light source and having a planar surface with a plurality of small concaves, said planar surface being substantially parallel to a liquid crystal cell face;
wherein a plane shape of said small concaves is substantially rectangular; and
wherein side surfaces of said small concaves have an inclination angle in the range of 20-35.
11. A liquid crystal display according to claim 10, wherein the side surface of said small concaves have an inclination angle in the range of 25-31.
12. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of liquid crystal cells,
a back light that irradiates the liquid crystal display panel with irradiation light,
wherein said back light includes:
a light source, and
a light guide plate having one side arranged adjacent said light source and having a planar surface with a plurality of small concaves, said planar surface being almost parallel to a liquid crystal cell face,
wherein a plane shape of said small concaves is almost rectangular, and
wherein a lower portion of said small concaves has a length in a direction that is parallel to an axis of illumination of said light source in the range of 80-800 m, and a length in a direction that is perpendicular to the axis of illumination of said light source of 60 m or less.
13. A liquid crystal display according to claim 12, wherein said small concaves have a depth in the range of 5-20 m.
14. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of liquid crystal cells,
a back light that irradiates the liquid crystal display panel with irradiation light,
wherein said back light includes:
a light source, and
a light guide plate having one side arranged adjacent said light source and having a planar surface with a plurality of small concaves, said planar surface being almost parallel to a liquid crystal cell face,
wherein a plane shape of said small concaves is almost rectangular,
wherein a lower portion of said small concaves has a length in a direction that is parallel to an axis of illumination of said light source in the range of 80-800 m, and a length in a direction that is perpendicular to the axis of illumination of said light source of 60 m or less, wherein said small concaves have a depth in the range of 5-20 m, and
wherein side surfaces of said small concaves have an inclination angle in the range of 20-35.

1. An IP terminal apparatus connected to an ENUM server via an IP network, the IP terminal apparatus comprising:
a memory that stores a plurality of communication control programs corresponding to a plurality of communication functions;
an obtainer that obtains, from the ENUM server, terminal information regarding a destination IP terminal apparatus, when the IP terminal apparatus places a call to the destination IP terminal apparatus;
an identifier that determines whether the destination IP terminal apparatus stores at least one communication function corresponding to the IP terminal apparatus, based upon the terminal information obtained by said obtainer;
a display that displays the at least one communication function that is determined, by said identifier, to be stored in the destination IP terminal apparatus; and
a communication controller that controls communication with the destination IP terminal apparatus, based upon the communication control program corresponding to the at least one communication function, when an operation is performed in accordance with the at least one communication function displayed on said display.
2. The IP terminal apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said identifier stores, in said memory, availability information that indicates the individual availability of the at least one communication function that is determined to be stored in the destination IP terminal apparatus, and wherein said display displays, based upon the availability information stored in said memory, the at least one communication function.
3. The IP terminal apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, when an operation is performed in accordance with a first communication function among the plurality of communication functions displayed on said display, said communication controller controls a first communication with the destination IP terminal apparatus, based upon the communication control program corresponding to the first communication function, and wherein, when an operation is further performed in accordance with a second communication function among the plurality of communication functions, said communication controller controls a second communication with the destination IP terminal apparatus, based upon the communication control program corresponding to the second communication function.
4. The IP terminal apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said identifier stores, in said memory, the availability information of the at least one communication function in association with the terminal information regarding the destination IP terminal apparatus, the terminal information being obtained by said obtainer.
5. The IP terminal apparatus according to claim 2, wherein, after the communication function displayed on said display is performed, said identifier deletes the terminal information and availability information stored in said memory.
