1. Method for receiving a purchase order by a remote location (10) from a customer location (9) via a first connection (1) over a network, to enable a purchase relating to a reference number, comprising the steps of:
completing a purchase order form that includes purchaser data (2) and a predefined subset (3) of the reference number,
receiving purchaser data (2) and the predefined subset (3) of the reference number at the remote location (10) from said customer location (9) via said first connection (1),
storing the purchaser data (2) and the subset (3) of the reference number in a storage means (5) of a computer system (6) at the remote location (10), said purchaser data being associated with the customer making the purchase,
receiving reference number related data via a second connection (13) over a network from the customer location (9) by an order-handling system, such as an IVR system (7) at the remote location (10),
associating said second connection (13) with the purchase order using the reference number related data, and the subset (3) of the reference number transmitted via said first connection (1), resulting in the complete reference number corresponding to the purchase order,
receiving an identification code (8) from the customer location (9) at the remote location (10),
receiving at the remote location (10) via said second connection (13) reference number digits (4) supplementary to the digits in the subset (3) of the reference number.
2. Method according to claim 1, wherein said second connection (13) is associated with the purchase order using said identification code (8).
3. Method according to claim 1, wherein the complete reference number is determined by concatenating the digits in the subset (3) of the reference number and the supplementary reference number digits (4).
4. Method according to claim 1, wherein said first connection (1) is a connection over a non-secure network.
5. Method according to claim 1, wherein said second connection (13) is a connection over a public telephone system.
6. Method according to claim 1, wherein said first connection (1) and said second connection (13) are connections over the same network.
7. Method according to claim 1, wherein the identification code (8) is shown on-line to the customer after the customer has completed said purchase order form, and the identification code (8) is received from the customer via said second connection (13).
8. Method according to claim 1, wherein the identification code (8) is provided by said computer system (6) to the customer, and the identification code (8) is received from the customer via said second connection (13).
9. Method according to claim 1, wherein the identification code (8) is received from a personal computer (11) at the customer location (9) by said computer system (6) at the remote location (10).
10. Method according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said reference number is a credit card number.
11. Method according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the identification code (8) is a unique code.

1. A method comprising:
receiving information of a paging area by a user equipment (UE) requiring a coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE) from a base station in a wireless network, wherein the paging area is a subset of a tracking area;
determining if there is any change between the received paging area and a stored paging area of the UE;
notifying the base station if there is any paging area change; and
receiving paging messages in the paging area, wherein the paging messages are transmitted repeatedly by a repetition number.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the notifying the base station involves:
establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the base station; and
reporting a CE status of the UE to the base station.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein an establishment cause IE of a RRC Connection Request for the RRC connection establishment indicating a paging area change.
4. The method of claim 2 further comprising:
reporting the stored paging area information to the base station.
5. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
updating the stored paging area if there is paging area change.
6. The method of claim 1 further comprising: reporting the stored paging area information to the wireless network periodically.
7. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
detecting a CE status change; and
reporting the CE status change to the wireless network.
8. A method comprising:
storing information of a paging area by a base station, wherein the paging area is a geographic area covered by a cluster of neighboring base stations;
storing a coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE) user equipment (UE) list comprising UEs requiring CE;
updating the CE UE list upon detecting triggering event; and
paging the UEs on the CE UE list repeatedly by a repetition number.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein the paging area is derived by coordinating among neighboring base stations identified by a base station ID or a neighboring cell list.
10. The method of claim 8 further comprising: broadcasting the information of the paging area in a system information message.
11. The method claim 8 wherein the triggering event is receiving a notification of presence by a UE requiring CE.
12. The method of claim 11 wherein the notification of presence includes a CE status of the UE.
13. The method of claim 11 further comprising: establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the UE, and wherein an establishment cause IE in a RRC Connection Request message for the RRC establishment indicates a paging area change.
14. The method of claim 11 further comprising: forwarding the UE notification of presence information to the base stations in the paging area.
15. The method of claim 8, wherein the triggering event is receiving a notification of CE UE presence from a neighboring base station.
16. The method of claim 8 further comprising: deleting a UE from the CE UE list upon detecting one or more releasing events.
17. The method of claim 16 wherein the release events comprising: failure to receive a paging response from the UE after repeatedly tries by the repetition number, failure to receive a paging response after a period of time, receiving a notification from a neighboring base station indicating the UE is out of the paging area.
18. A user equipment (UE) comprising
a transceiver that transmits and receives radio signals via a first radio access link;
an information handler that stores information of a stored paging area;
a paging area handler that receives information of a paging area from a base station when the UE requires coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE), determines if there is any change between the paging area and the stored paging area of the UE, and notifies the base station if there is any paging area change; and
a paging module that receives and processes paging messages in the paging area, wherein the page messages are transmitted repeatedly by a repetition number.
19. The UE of claim 18, wherein the paging area handler establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the base station and reports a CE status of the UE to the base station.
20. The method of claim 19, wherein an establishment cause IE of a RRC Connection Request for the RRC connection establishment indicating a paging area change.
21. The method of claim 19, wherein the paging area handler further reports the stored paging area information to the wireless network.
22. The method of claim 18, wherein the information handler updates the stored paging area if there is paging area change.
23. The method of claim 18, wherein the paging area handler reports the stored paging area information to the wireless network periodically.
24. The method of claim 18, wherein the paging area handler reports CE status to the wireless network upon detecting a CE status change.
25. A method comprising:
detecting a coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE) mode by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network;
sending a CE message indicating the CE mode to the network; and
receiving a paging message from the network, wherein the paging message is transmitted repeatedly by a repetition number.
26. The method of claim 25, wherein the CE mode is detected upon detecting one or more conditions comprising: the UE is a low cost device, or the UE requires CE.
27. The method of claim 25, wherein the sending the CE message comprising:
establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a base station; and
reporting a CE status of the UE to the base station.
28. The method of claim 25 wherein the CE message to the network includes a CE status of the UE.
29. A method comprising:
receiving a paging request for a UE in a coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE) mode from a network entity by a base station in a wireless network; and
sending a paging message repeatedly by a repetition number to the UE.
30. The method of claim 29, wherein the repetition number is provided by the network entity.
31. The method of claim 29, further comprising:
receiving a CE message from the UE indicating a CE mode of the UE; and
sending a CE information message to the network entity.
32. The method of claim 31, wherein the CE information message includes a CE status of the UE and a corresponding cell ID for the UE.
33. A method comprising:
determining a coverage extensioncoverage enhancement (CE) mode for a UE by a network entity in a wireless network; and
sending a paging request for the UE to one or more base stations in a tracking area of the UE, wherein the paging request indicates the CE mode for the UE.
34. The method of claim 33 wherein the network entity is a mobility management entity (MME).
35. The method of claim 33 further comprising: providing the one or more base stations in the track area with a repetition number for the paging of the UE.
36. The method of claim 33 further comprising: receiving CE information of the UE from a base station.
37. The method of claim 36, wherein the CE information includes a CE status of the UE and a corresponding cell ID for the UE.
