1. A display device, comprising:
a display unit;
a gaze detection unit configured to detect a gaze of a user who views the display unit; and
a processor configured to control a display of a series of images on the display unit so that:
in response to the gaze detection unit detecting that the user who is viewing the display unit removes the user’s gaze from the display unit while the series of images are sequentially displayed on the display unit, the processor obtains and stores first information specifying a position of an image in the series of images, which is the image last gazed at by the user before the gaze detection unit detects that the user removes the user’s gaze, and the display unit continues a dynamic display of the series of images, and
in response to the gaze detection unit detecting that the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit, a judgment is made as to whether the control unit executes a replay process for sequentially displaying the series of images from the position specified in the first information or execute another display process other than the replay process, and
when it is judged the replay process is to be executed rather than the another display process, the processor executes the replay process.
2. The display device of claim 1, further comprising:
an operating unit configured to receive an operation from the user,
wherein in case that a predetermined operation is received by the operating unit from the user, the processor instructs the display unit to start the dynamic display of the series of images.
3. The display device of claim 2, wherein the predetermined operation includes an operation for instructing a window transition in case that the series of images are a plurality of windows to be transited in a fixed transit order, an operation for instructing an update of windows, and an operation for instructing a replay of a video in case that the series of images are the video.
4. The display device of claim 1, wherein the processor obtains and stores second information specifying a position of an image in the series of images, which is displayed on the display unit when the gaze detection unit detects that the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit, and
in the replay process, the processor instructs the display unit to sequentially display only a section between the position specified in the first information and the position specified in the second information in the series of images.
5. The display device of claim 1, wherein the judgment is made in accordance with a period which elapses since the gaze detection unit detects that the user who views the display unit removes the user’s gaze from the display unit until the gaze detection unit detects that the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit while the series of images are sequentially displayed.
6. The display device of claim 1, wherein the first information is at least one type of information among:
information which specifies the image displayed on the display unit when the user removes the user’s gaze from the display unit;
information which specifies an object viewed by the user in the image which is displayed on the display unit just before the user removes the user’s gaze from the display unit;
information which specifies a sound output with the image displayed on the display unit when the user removes the user’s gaze from the display unit; and
time information which specifies a time period elapsing since the dynamic display of the series of images is started until the user removes the user’s gaze from the display unit.
7. The display device of claim 4, wherein the second information is at least one type of information among:
information which specifies the image displayed on the display unit when the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit;
information which specifies an object viewed by the user in the image which is displayed when the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit;
information which specifies a sound output with the image displayed on the display unit on the display unit when the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit; and
time information which specifies a time period elapsing since the dynamic display of the series of images is started or since the user removes the user’s gaze from the display unit until the user returns the user’s gaze to the display unit.
8. The display device of claim 1 wherein the judgment is made in accordance with user’s selection, and as options for the user’s selection, the processor provides at least two options among a first option for immediately executing the replay process, a second option for continuing a current display process and for subsequently executing the replay process, and a third option for continuing the current display process without executing the replay process.
9. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program, wherein the program causes an information processing apparatus comprising a display unit and a gaze detection unit configured to detect a gaze of a user who views the display unit, to function as the display device of claim 1.
10. An image processing apparatus, comprising:
an image processing unit; and
the display device of claim 1,
wherein the display device displays a window for setting a job which is executed by the image processing unit.
11. An image processing apparatus, comprising:
an image processing unit; and
the display device of claim 1,
wherein the display device displays a window for setting a job which is executed by the image processing unit, and the display device is connected to the image processing device via a network for remotely controlling the image processing apparatus.

the battery pack is provided with information signal sending means (5, 51) which modulates operating state detection information detected by the battery operating state detection means into an operating state detection signal, which can be transmitted to a charging device (20, 60, 80) for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or a loading device (30, 90) which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, and sends the operating state detection signal thereto.
3. A battery pack comprising a secondary battery (2), a positive charge and discharge terminal (11) and a negative charge and discharge terminal (12) which are connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery, respectively, and battery operating state detection means (10) for detecting the operating state of the secondary battery,
the battery pack is provided with identification information memory means (4) which stores identification information and information signal sending means (5, 51) which modulates the identification information read out of the identification information memory means or operating state detection information detected by the operating state detection means into an information signal, which can be transmitted to a charging device (20, 60, 80) for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or a loading device (30, 60) which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, and sends the information signal thereto.

A battery pack comprising a secondary battery (2), a positive charge and discharge terminal (11) and a negative charge and discharge terminal (12) which are connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery, respectively, and battery operating state detection means (10) for detecting the operating state of the secondary battery, wherein
the battery pack is provided with identification information memory means (4) which stores identification information, information signal receiving means (71) which demodulates a question signal transmitted from a charging device (80) or a loading device (90) through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal to take out question information, and information signal sending means (5) which modulates the identification information read out of the identification information memory means or operating state detection information detected by the operating state detection means into an information signal, which can be transmitted to the charging device for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or the loading device which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, in response to a request described in the question information and sends the information signal thereto.
5. The battery pack according to claim 1, wherein the battery pack is electrically connected to the charging device (20, 60, 80) or the loading device (30, 90) only by positive and negative two connection terminals.

The battery pack according to claim 1, wherein the information signal sending means (5, 51) is configured to send the identification signal or the operating state detection signal, into which a carrier wave having a predetermined frequency is modulated with the identification information or the operating state detection information by a predetermined modulation method, through the positive charge and discharge terminal (11) or the negative charge and discharge terminal (12).

The battery pack according to claim 1, wherein the information signal sending means (5, 51) is configured to subject a charging or discharging current flowing through the positive charge and discharge terminal (11) or the negative charge and discharge terminal (12) to a pulse modulation with the identification information or the operating state detection information.

A connection system of a battery pack, for connecting a battery pack (1, 50, 50a, 70) which includes a secondary battery (2) and a positive charge and discharge terminal (11) and a negative charge and discharge terminal (12) connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery, respectively, to a charging device (20, 60, 80) for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or to a loading device (30, 90) which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal, wherein
the battery pack is provided with identification information memory means (4) which stores identification information and information signal sending means (5, 51) which modulates the identification information read out of the identification information memory means into an identification signal which can be transmitted to the charging device or the loading device through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal and sends the identification signal thereto, and
the charging device or the loading device is provided with information signal receiving means (24, 34, 62) which demodulates the information signal transmitted through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal and reads out the identification information and power source control means (25, 35, 82, 92) which decodes the read out identification information and controls an output of charging energy from the charging device or an input of discharging energy into the loading device.

A connection system of a battery pack, for connecting a battery pack (1, 50, 50a, 70) which includes a secondary battery (2), a positive charge and discharge terminal (11) and a negative charge and discharge terminal (12) which are connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery, respectively, and battery operating state detection means (10) for detecting an operating state of the secondary battery, to a charging device (20, 60, 80) for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or to a loading device (30, 90) which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal, wherein
the battery pack is provided with information signal sending means (5, 51) which modulates operating state detection information detected by the battery operating state detection means into an operating state detection signal, which can be transmitted to the charging device or the loading device by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, and sends the operating state detection signal thereto, and

the battery pack is provided with identification information memory means (4) which stores identification information and information signal sending means (5, 51) which modulates the identification information read out of the identification information memory means or operating state detection information detected by the battery operating state detection means into an information signal, which can be transmitted to the charging device or the loading device through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, and sends the information signal thereto, and
the charging device or the loading device is provided with information signal receiving means (24, 34, 62) which demodulates the information signal transmitted through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal and read out the identification information or the operating state detection information and power source control means (25, 35, 82, 92) which controls an output of charging energy from the charging device or an input of discharging energy into the loading device on the basis of the read out identification information or operating state detection information.

A connection system of a battery pack, for connecting a battery pack (70) which includes a secondary battery (2), a positive charge and discharge terminal (11) and a negative charge and discharge terminal (12) which are connected to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the secondary battery, respectively, and battery operating state detection means (10) for detecting the operating state of the secondary battery, to a charging device (80) for supplying charging energy to the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal or to a loading device (90) which is operated by the discharging energy of the secondary battery by connecting it to the positive charge and discharge terminal and the negative charge and discharge terminal, wherein
the battery pack is provided with identification information memory means (4) which stores identification information, information signal receiving means (71) which demodulates a question signal transmitted from the charging device or the loading device through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal to take out question information, and information signal sending means (5) which modulates the identification information read out of the identification information memory means or operating state detection information detected by the battery operating state detection means into a response signal in response to a request described in the question information and sends the response signal through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal, and
the charging device or the loading device is provided with information signal sending means (81, 91) which modulates the question information into a question signal which can be transmitted through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal and sends the question signal to the connected battery pack, information signal receiving means (24, 34) which demodulates the response signal transmitted from the battery pack through the positive charge and discharge terminal or the negative charge and discharge terminal and read out the identification information or the operating state detection information, and power source control means (82, 92) which decodes the read out identification information or the operating state detection information and controls an output of charging energy from the charging device or an input of discharging energy into the loading device.

The connection system of a battery pack according to claim 8, wherein the information signal sending means (5, 51) is configured to send the identification signal, the operating state detection signal, or the question signal, into which a carrier wave having a predetermined frequency is modulated with the identification information, the operating state detection information, or the question information by a predetermined modulation method, through the direct-current power transmission line.

The connection system of a battery pack according to claim 8, wherein the information signal sending means (5, 51, 81, 91) is configured to subject a charging or discharging current flowing through the direct-current power transmission line to a pulse modulation with the identification information, the operating state detection information, or the question information.

The connection system of a battery pack according to claim 8, wherein the information signal receiving means (24, 34, 62, 71) is configured to demodulate the identification signal, the operating state detection signal, or the question signal transmitted through the direct-current power transmission line by a predetermined demodulation method and to take out the identification information, the operating state detection information, or the question information.

The connection system of a battery pack according to claim 8, wherein the information signal receiving means (24, 34, 62, 71) is configured to take out variation of a current in the pulse-modulated charging or discharging current flowing through the direct-current power transmission line for demodulation.
