1. A method for managing advertising data, comprising:
configuring a set of rules in order to manage a plurality of unmatched records, each individual record of the plurality of unmatched records is associated with a separate market entity of a plurality of market entities, each of the plurality of market entities is one of an advertiser and an agency, and managing the plurality of unmatched records includes scoring each of the plurality of unmatched records, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system;
computing a scoring function, based on the set of rules, to assign a individual rank to each individual record based on one of revenue and market ranking associated with the separate market entity, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system;
selecting a highest-ranking market entity from the plurality of market entities as the active entity, the active entity is associated with a first market, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system;
performing a first matching process, using a plurality of matching options, to match the active entity to at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities, the at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities is associated with a second market, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system;
performing a second matching process, using the plurality of matching options, to match the active entity to a parent advertiser in order to manage and report records associated with the active entity, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system;
locking each record associated with one of the active entity and the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities to a specific user, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system; and
providing the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities and the parent advertiser, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system.
2. The method of claim 1, comprising providing the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities and the parent advertiser via a user interface, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system.
3. The method of claim 2, the providing further comprising:
displaying the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities in an unmatched entity section of the user interface, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system; and
displaying the parent advertiser in a parent advertiser section of the user interface, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system.
4. The method of claim 1, the first market is associated with a first geographic region and the second market is associated with a second geographic region.
5. The method of claim 1 further comprising configuring said plurality of matching options to comprise at least one of the following, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system:
an exact match;
a like match; and
a Soundex match.
6. The method of claim 1, locking each record includes assigning each record to the specific user.
7. The method of claim 1, the specific user is a user associated with one of the first market and the second market.
8. An advertising data management system, comprising
a processor;
a data bus coupled to said processor; and
a computer-usable medium embodying computer code, said computer-usable medium being coupled to said data bus, said computer program code comprising instructions executable by said processor and configured for:
configuring a set of rules in order to manage a plurality of unmatched records, each individual record of the plurality of unmatched records is associated with a separate market entity of a plurality of market entities, each of the plurality of market entities is one of an advertiser and an agency, and managing the plurality of unmatched records includes scoring each of the plurality of unmatched records;
computing a scoring function, based on the set of rules, to assign a individual rank to each individual record based on one of revenue and market ranking associated with the separate market entity;
selecting a highest-ranking market entity from the plurality of market entities as the active entity, the active entity is associated with a first market;
using a plurality of matching options to match the active entity to a parent advertiser in order to manage and report records associated with the active entity;
locking each record associated with the active entity to a specific user; and
providing the parent advertiser via a user interface.

The advertising data management system of claim 8, said instructions are further configured for using the plurality of matching options to match the active entity to at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities, the at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities is associated with a second market.
10. The advertising data management system of claim 9, said instructions are further configured for
locking each record associated with one of the active entity and the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities to a specific user; and
providing the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities and the parent advertiser via a user interface.
11. The advertising data management system of claim 8 wherein said instructions are further configured for arranging said plurality of matching options to comprise at least one of the following:
an exact match;
a like match; and
a Soundex match.
12. The advertising data management system of claim 9, the first market is associated with a first geographic region and the second market is associated with a second geographic region.
13. The advertising data management system of claim 8, locking each record includes restricting access to each record to the specific user.
14. The advertising data management system of claim 13, the specific user is a user associated with one of the first market and the second market.
15. An advertising data management system, comprising
a processor;
a data bus coupled to said processor; and
a computer-usable medium embodying computer code, said computer-usable medium being coupled to said data bus, said computer program code comprising instructions executable by said processor and configured for:
configuring a set of rules in order to manage a plurality of unmatched records, each individual record of the plurality of unmatched records is associated with a separate market entity of a plurality of market entities, each of the plurality of market entities is one of an advertiser and an agency, and managing the plurality of unmatched records includes scoring each of the plurality of unmatched records;
computing a scoring function, based on the set of rules, to assign a individual rank to each individual record based on one of revenue and market ranking associated with the separate market entity;
selecting a highest-ranking market entity from the plurality of market entities as the active entity, the active entity is associated with a first market;
performing a first matching process, using a plurality of matching options, to match the active entity to at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities, the at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities is associated with a second market, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system; and
providing the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities via a user interface.
16. The advertising data management system of claim 15 wherein said instructions are further configured for locking each record associated with one of the active entity and the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities to a specific user.
17. The advertising data management system of claim 16 wherein:
the at least one of a remaining plurality of market entities is associated with a second market; and
the specific user is a user associated with one of the first market and the second market.
18. The advertising data management system of claim 15, the first market is associated with a first geographic region and the second market is associated with a second geographic region.
19. The advertising data management system of claim 15 wherein said instructions are further configured for:
performing a second matching process to match the active entity to a parent advertiser in order to manage and report records associated with the active entity, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system; and
providing the at least one of the remaining plurality of market entities and the parent advertiser, by executing a program instruction in a data-processing system.
20. The advertising data management system of claim 15 wherein said instructions are further configured for arranging said plurality of matching options to comprise at least one of the following:
an exact match;
a like match; and
a Soundex match.

1. An apparatus for data exploration in a data processing system, comprising:
an analyzing component for analyzing a data model to identify a first and a second data entity and a relationship between the first and the second data entity;
a generator component for creating a first and second atom data entity associated with the first and the second data entity;
a generator component for creating a link data entity associated with the relationship between the first and second data entity; and
an assignor component for assigning a behavior to one of the atom data entities or the link data entity, wherein the atom data entity exhibits a behavior associated with the link data entity and wherein the link data entity exhibits a behavior associated with one of the atom data entities.
2. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the assigned behavior comprises a positional force, an attractor force, or a repulsion force.
3. The apparatus according to claim 1. wherein the generator component further creates a third atom data entity and infers a link data entity from the first atom data entity or the second atom data entity to the third atom data entity.
4. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the generator component further creates a communication channel for each atom data entity.
5. The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the communication channel broadcasts positional coordinates to related atom data entities and link data entities.
6. The apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the related atom data entity responds to broadcasts of positional coordinates by moving in a direction towards the broadcasting atom data entity.
7. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the assignor component further comprises a component for assigning a map of patterns of types of atom data entities and link data entities which an atom data entity and a link data entity is to identify when receiving input from an external source or on creation of an active representation.
8. A method for data exploration in a data processing system, comprising:
analyzing a data model to identify a first and a second data entity and a relationship between the first and the second data entity;
creating a first and second atom data entity associated with the first and the second data entity;
creating a link data entity associated with the relationship between the first and second data entity; and
assigning a behavior to one of the atom data entities or the link data entity, wherein the atom data entity exhibits a behavior associated with the link data entity and wherein the link data entity exhibits a behavior associated with one of the atom data entities.
9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the assigned behavior comprises a positional force, an attractor force, or a repulsion force.
10. The method according to claim 8, further comprising creating a third atom data entity and inferring a link data entity from the first atom data entity or the second atom data entity to the third atom data entity.
11. The method according to claim 8, further comprising creating a communication channel for each atom data entities.
12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the communication channel broadcasts positional coordinates to related atom data entities and link data entities.
13. The method according to claim 12, wherein the related atom data entity responds to broadcasts of positional coordinates by moving in a direction towards the broadcasting atom data entity.
14. A computer program product loadable into the internal memory of a digital computer, comprising software code portions for, when the product is run on a computer:
analyzing a data model to identify a first and a second data entity and a relationship between the first and the second data entity;
creating a first and second atom data entity associated with the first and the second data entity;
creating a link data entity associated with the relationship between the first and second data entity; and
assigning a behavior to one of the atom data entities or the link data entity, wherein the atom data entity exhibits a behavior associated with the link data entity and wherein the link data entity exhibits a behavior associated with one of the atom data entities.
