1. A method comprising:
receiving, at a device, a first selection of a video program provided by a content provider via a content distribution network, the video program comprising default audio content;
receiving a second selection of a substitute audio source;
receiving a third selection of a duration for use of the substitute audio source;
receiving substitute audio content from the substitute audio source; and
substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content for the duration indicated.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content is performed by a network level component.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the network level component comprises one of a server or a headend.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the device is a user device and the substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content is performed by the user device.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the user device comprises one of a gateway device, a personal computing device, or a display device.
6. The method of claim 4, wherein the receiving the substitute audio content from the substitute audio source is performed by a receiver of the user device.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the receiver is configured to receive the substitute audio content in one or more of wired signals or wireless signals.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the substituting comprises multiplexing the substitute audio with the default audio content.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein:
the device is a user device;
the substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content is performed by the user device; and
the substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content comprises choosing the substitute audio content using a tuner of the user device.
10. The method of claim 1, wherein the substituting the substitute audio content for the default audio content comprises isolating the substitute audio content relative to the default audio content based on one of header information or tag information included in the substitute audio content.
11. The method of claim 1, further comprising associating the substitute audio source with the video program.
12. The method of claim 11, wherein the associating the substitute audio source with the video program is performed by a network level component.
13. The method of claim 11, wherein the device is a user device and the associating the substitute audio source with the video program is performed by the user device.
14. The method of claim 1, wherein the device is a user device, the method further comprising:
determining that a second video program that includes second default audio content has been received at the user device;
determining that the second video program is associated with a second substitute audio source;
receiving second substitute audio content from the second substitute audio source; and
substituting the second substitute audio content for the second default audio content.
15. The method of claim 14, further comprising:
determining that a third video program that includes third default audio content has been received at the user device;
determining that the third video program is not associated with any substitute audio source; and
causing the third default audio content to be presented with the third video program.
16. A method comprising:
receiving, at a device, a first selection of a first content asset stream;
receiving, at the device, a second selection of a first intermediate time frame between a start time and an end time of the first content asset stream;
generating a recommendation list of a plurality of content asset streams;
receiving a third selection of a second content asset stream from the plurality of content asset streams; and
substituting the second content asset stream for a portion of the first content asset stream during the first intermediate time frame.
17. The method of claim 16, wherein the recommendation list is based, at least in part, on a profile of a user.
18. The method of claim 16, wherein the recommendation list is based, at least in part, on a selection history of content asset streams of a user.
19. The method of claim 16, wherein the substituting comprises associating an entry in a user specific control list with the second content asset stream.
20. The method of claim 16, further comprising:
receiving, at the device, a fourth selection of a second intermediate time frame of the first content asset stream;
receiving a fifth selection of a third content asset stream from the plurality of content asset streams; and
substituting for the second intermediate time frame, the third content asset stream.
21. The method of claim 16, further comprising:
receiving, at the device, a fourth selection of a second intermediate time frame of a third content asset stream;
receiving a fifth selection of a fourth content asset stream from the plurality of content asset streams; and
substituting for the second intermediate time frame, the fourth content asset stream.
22. A method comprising:
receiving, at a device, a first selection of a video program;
receiving, at the device, a second selection of a substitute audio source;
receiving, at the device, a third selection of a duration for use of the substitute audio source;
obtaining substitute audio content provided by the substitute audio source; and
outputting, for the duration selected, the substitute audio content with the video program rather than default audio content associated with the video program.
23. The method of claim 22, wherein the device comprises a user device.
24. The method of claim 23, where the user device comprises one of a personal computing device (PC), a gateway device, a display device, a set-top box (STB), or a handheld device.
25. The method of claim 24, wherein the display device comprises one of a television, a monitor, or a display screen.
26. The method of claim 22, wherein the substitute audio source is associated with one of radio call letters or a uniform resource locator (URL).
27. The method of claim 22, wherein the substitute audio source comprises one of a radio station or a television network.
28. The method of claim 22, wherein the substitute audio source comprises one of a radio frequency channel or a television channel.
29. The method of claim 22, wherein the substitute audio source comprises one of a radio program or a television program.
30. The method of claim 22, wherein the audio source comprises one of an over the air audio source, an audio over IP audio source, a terrestrial audio source, or a satellite audio source.

parallel first electrically-conductive members extending in a first direction, said first electrically-conductive members having a constant cross-sectional area;
parallel second electrically-conductive members extending in a second direction, intersecting with the first direction, so as to intersect with the first electrically-conductive members, said second electrically-conductive members having a constant cross-sectional area; and
an electrically-conductive piece located at a corner of an opening surrounded by adjacent ones of the first electrically-conductive members and adjacent ones of the second electrically-conductive members, said electrically-conductive piece connecting first and second electrically-conductive members, intersecting with each other at the corner, to each other,
wherein the electrically-conductive piece extends along the first and second electrically-conductive members from an apex of the corner.
2. The vent grid according to claim 1, wherein said electrically-conductive piece is integral to the first and second electrically-conductive members.
3. An electronic apparatus comprising:
an enclosure enclosing electronic circuit elements of the electronic apparatus:
a vent grid fitted in a wall of the enclosure, said vent grid comprising:
parallel first electrically-conductive members extending in a first direction, said first electrically-conductive members having a constant cross-sectional area;
parallel second electrically-conductive members extending in a second direction, intersecting with the first direction, so as to intersect with the first electrically-conductive members, said second electrically-conductive members having a constant cross-sectional area; and
an electrically-conductive piece located at a corner of an opening surrounded by adjacent ones of the first electrically-conductive members and adjacent ones of the second electrically-conductive members, said electrically-conductive piece connecting first and second electrically-conductive members, intersecting with each other at the corner, to each others
wherein the electrically-conductive piece extends along the first and second electrically-conductive members from an apex of the corner.
