20. A method for migrating configuration information during live migration of a virtual machine, the method comprising:
after receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, acquiring an identifier of a source forwarding switch of the virtual machine and an identifier of a target forwarding switch of the virtual machine;
sending configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch, so that the target forwarding switch stores the configuration information; and
sending a configuration information deletion instruction to the source forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the source forwarding switch instructing the source forwarding switch to delete the configuration information.
21. The method according to claim 20, wherein the message of the live migration carries an identifier of the virtual machine to which the live migration occurs and an identifier of the target physical host to which the virtual machine migrates; and
wherein acquiring the identifier of a source forwarding switch of the virtual machine and the identifier of the target forwarding switch of the virtual machine comprises:
determining the identifier of the source forwarding switch according to the identifier of the virtual machine; and
determining the identifier of the target forwarding switch according to the identifier of the target physical host.
22. The method according to claim 20, wherein the message of the live migration carries an identifier of the virtual machine to which the live migration occurs and an identifier of a target forwarding switch corresponding to the target physical host to which the virtual machine migrates, and
wherein acquiring the identifier of the source forwarding switch of the virtual machine comprises determining the identifier of the source forwarding switch according to the identifier of the virtual machine.
23. The method according to claim 20, wherein, before receiving the message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, the method further comprising:
creating and storing configuration information; and
sending the configuration information to the source forwarding switch.
24. The method according to claim 20, wherein, before receiving the message of live migration, the method further comprises:
receiving and storing configuration information created by the source forwarding switch.
25. The method according to claim 20, wherein, before receiving the message of live migration, the method further comprises:
receiving configuration information of the virtual machine sent by the virtual machine management server; and
sending the configuration information of the virtual machine to the source forwarding switch.
26. The method according to claim 25, wherein, after receiving the message of live migration, the method further comprises receiving and storing updated configuration information that is sent by the virtual machine management server after the live migration of the virtual machine;
wherein sending the configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch specifically comprises sending the updated configuration information to the target forwarding switch.
27. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium with an executable program stored thereon, wherein the program instructs a processor to perform the following steps:
after receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, acquiring an identifier of a source forwarding switch of the virtual machine and an identifier of a target forwarding switch of the virtual machine;
sending configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch, so that the target forwarding switch stores the configuration information; and
sending a configuration information deletion instruction to the source forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the source forwarding switch, so that the source forwarding switch deletes the configuration information.
28. The computer storage medium according to claim 27, wherein, before the step of receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, the program instructs a processor to perform the steps of:
creating and storing configuration information; and
sending the configuration information to the source forwarding switch.
29. The computer storage medium according to claim 27, wherein, before the step of receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, the program instructs a processor to perform the steps of:
receiving and storing configuration information created by the source forwarding switch.
30. The computer storage medium according to claim 27, wherein, before the step of receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, the program instructs a processor to perform the steps of:
receiving configuration information of the virtual machine sent by the virtual machine management server; and
sending the configuration information of the virtual machine to the source forwarding switch.
31. The computer storage medium according to claim 30, wherein, after the step of receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, the program instructs a processor to perform the steps of:
receiving and storing updated configuration information that is sent by the virtual machine management server after the live migration of the virtual machine; and
wherein the step of sending configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch comprises sending the updated configuration information to the target forwarding switch.
32. A switching control device, comprising:
an input apparatus, configured to receive a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server;
a processor, configured to acquire an identifier of a source forwarding switch of the virtual machine and an identifier of a target forwarding switch of the virtual machine;
a memory coupled to the processor; and
an output apparatus, configured to send configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch, so that the target forwarding switch stores the configuration information and to send a configuration information deletion instruction to the source forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the source forwarding switch, so that the source forwarding switch deletes the configuration information.
33. The switching control device according to claim 32, wherein the message of the live migration carries an identifier of the virtual machine to which the live migration occurs and an identifier of the target physical host to which the virtual machine migrates; and
wherein the processor is configured to determine the identifier of the source forwarding switch according to the identifier of the virtual machine and determine the identifier of the target forwarding switch according to the identifier of the target physical host.
34. The switching control device according to claim 32, wherein the message of the live migration carries an identifier of the virtual machine to which the live migration occurs and an identifier of a target forwarding switch corresponding to the target physical host to which the virtual machine migrates; and
wherein the processor is configured to determine the identifier of the source forwarding switch according to the identifier of the virtual machine.
35. The switching control device according to claim 32, wherein:
the processor is further configured to create configuration information;
the memory is configured to store the configuration information; and
the output apparatus is further configured to send the configuration information to the source forwarding switch.
36. The switching control device according to claim 32, wherein:
the input apparatus is further configured to receive configuration information created by the source forwarding switch; and
the memory is configured to store the configuration information.
37. The switching control device according to claim 32, wherein:
the input apparatus is further configured to receive configuration information of the virtual machine sent by the virtual machine management server; and
the output apparatus is further configured to send the configuration information of the virtual machine to the source forwarding switch.
38. The switching control device according to claim 37, wherein:
the input apparatus is further configured to receive updated configuration information that is sent by the virtual machine management server after the live migration of the virtual machine; and
the output apparatus is further configured to send the updated configuration information to the target forwarding switch.

1. A method of performing arthroscopic surgery, said method comprising the steps of:
providing an extravasation minimization device, said device comprising:
a sleeve characterized by a distal end and proximal end having a central lumen sized and dimensioned to be removably disposed over an arthroscopic instrument;
a plurality of outwardly extending longitudinal ribs disposed over the exterior of the sheath having drainage lumens disposed therein;
a plurality of longitudinal channels disposed between the ribs, said channels having a plurality of drainage apertures in fluid communication with the drainage lumens; and
a manifold disposed on the proximal end of the sleeve in fluid communication with the drainage lumens;
wherein the plurality of drainage apertures permit excess fluid to be removed from tissue surrounding a surgical site;
providing an arthroscopic instrument suitable for performing an arthroscopic surgical procedure;
placing the arthroscopic instrument inside of the extravasation minimization device; and
performing an arthroscopic surgical procedure.
2. The method of claim 1 further comprising providing a vacuum source in fluid communication with the manifold.
3. The method of claim 1 further comprising providing a sink in fluid communication with the manifold.
4. A method of performing arthroscopic surgery, said method comprising the steps of:
providing an extravasation minimization device, said device comprising:
a sleeve of wicking material characterized by a distal end and proximal end having a central lumen sized and dimensioned to be removably disposed over an arthroscopic instrument; and
an adapter disposed on the proximal end of the sleeve in fluid communication with the sleeve of wicking material;
wherein the wicking material permits excess fluid to be removed from tissue surrounding a surgical site;
providing an arthroscopic instrument suitable for performing an arthroscopic surgical procedure;
placing the arthroscopic instrument inside of the extravasation minimization device; and
performing an arthroscopic surgical procedure.
5. The method of claim 4 wherein the extravasation minimization device further comprises an outer layer of non-stick material having a plurality of fenestrations disposed over the sleeve.
6. The method of claim 4 wherein the extravasation minimization device further comprises a drainage lumen disposed within the sleeve of wicking material.
7. The method of claim 4 wherein the sleeve of wicking material comprises an open cell foam having a smooth outer surface.
8. The method of claim 4 wherein the sleeve of wicking material further comprises a plurality of fenestrations disposed on an outer surface of the sleeve.
9. The method of claim 4 wherein the sleeve of wicking material has a \u201cC\u201d shaped cross-section.
10. The method of claim 4 wherein the extravasation minimization device further comprises a slideable grommet disposed about an outer diameter of the sleeve.
11. The method of claim 4 further comprising a vacuum source in fluid communication with the adapter.
12. The method of claim 4 wherein the adapter is a manifold.
