1. A device for producing a gas cushion for supporting a preheated glass sheet, with a chamber connected to a source of compressed gas, the upper wall of which chamber is adapted in its external dimensions to the outline of the glass sheet and has a plurality of apertures for the passage of gas, wherein the apertures are designed as nozzles, which have an entry bore as well as a progressively widening exit hole, and that the upper wall of the chamber has a greater degree of perforation sum of the nozzle exit areas in relation to the total area of the respective zone in its edge zones than in its central zone.
2. The device according to claim 1, wherein the central zone of the upper wall of the chamber roughly corresponds in the magnitude of its area to the sum of the edge zones.
3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the ratio of the degree of perforation in the central zone of the upper wall of the chamber to the degree of perforation in the edge zones amounts to approx. 0.5 to 0.9, preferably approx. 0.7-0.8.
4. The device according to claim 1, wherein the upper wall of the chamber has a degree of perforation of at most approx. 0.3, preferably less than 0.25, in its central zone.
5. The device according to claim 1, wherein the upper wall of the chamber has a greater degree of perforation in the edge zones of its longer sides than in the edge zones of its shorter sides.
6. The device according to claim 1, wherein the degree of perforation of the upper wall of the chamber diminishes from the feed side for the glass sheet to the opposite side.
7. The device according to claim 1, wherein the entry bore of at least one of the nozzles widens at least once abruptly in the direction of flow.
8. The device according to claim 7, wherein the entry bore of the nozzles has a first section with a diameter of approx. 2 to 4 mm, preferably of approx. 3 mm, as well as a second section with a diameter of approx. 20 mm, whereby the exit hole follows on from the latter.
9. The device according to claim 8, wherein the entry bore of the nozzles has a third section with a diameter of approx. 10 mm between the first and second section.
10. The device according to claim 9, wherein at least the first, the second and the third section are formed cylindrically, preferably with a coinciding cylinder axis.
11. The device according to claim 1, wherein the upper wall of the chamber is covered by a thin porous cloth made of heat-resistant material.
12. The device according to claim 11, wherein the cloth is made of heat-conductive material, preferably of corrosion-resistant steel (stainless steel).
13. The device according to claim 1, wherein the chamber is made of ceramic material.
14. The device according to claim 13, wherein the chamber is designed as a one-piece moulding.
15. The device according to claim 1, wherein the chamber is provided with heating elements.

1. An activation device for detecting collision of a vehicle and activating a protection apparatus for protecting an occupant, the activation device comprising:
a front collision detection unit configured to
detect front collision of the vehicle and
output a front-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to front collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to front collision when detecting front collision; and

a rear collision detection unit configured to
detect rear collision of the vehicle,
output a rear-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to rear collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to rear collision when detecting rear collision, and
prohibit output of the rear-collision-state activation signal to the protection apparatus related to rear collision for a first period when the front collision detection unit detects front collision.
2. The activation device according to claim 1, further comprising:
a collision detection unit configured to
obtain acceleration in a front direction of the vehicle as a front acceleration detection result and
obtain acceleration in a rear direction of the vehicle as a rear acceleration detection result,

wherein the front collision detection unit is further configured to
input the front acceleration detection result and the rear acceleration detection result, and
determine whether the front acceleration detection result is greater than a first front collision threshold and determine whether the rear acceleration detection result is greater than a second front collision threshold so as to determine whether the vehicle causes front collision,

wherein the rear collision detection unit is further configured to
input the front acceleration detection result and the rear acceleration detection result, and
determine whether the front acceleration detection result is greater than a first rear collision threshold and determine whether the rear acceleration detection result is greater than a second rear collision threshold so as to determine whether the vehicle causes rear collision.
3. The activation device according to claim 1, wherein the rear collision detection unit is further configured to ease detection of rear collision of the vehicle in a second predetermined period subsequent to elapse of the first predetermined period.
4. The activation device according to claim 3,
wherein the rear collision detection unit is further configured to
change the first rear collision threshold and the second rear collision threshold, such that
the front acceleration detection result easily exceeds the first rear collision threshold, and
the rear acceleration detection result easily exceeds the second rear collision threshold, and
determine rear collision of the vehicle.
5. The activation device according to claim 1, wherein the protection apparatus related to rear collision is at least one of an active headrest and a rear window curtain airbag.
6. An activation device for detecting collision of a vehicle and activating a protection apparatus for protecting an occupant, the activation device comprising:
a front collision detection unit configured to
detect front collision of the vehicle and
output a front-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to front collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to front collision when detecting front collision; and

a rear collision detection unit configured to
detect rear collision of the vehicle,
output a rear-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to rear collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to rear collision when detecting rear collision, and
ease detection of rear collision for a predetermined period when the front collision detection unit detects front collision.
7. The activation device according to claim 6, further comprising:
a collision detection unit configured to
obtain acceleration in a front direction of the vehicle as a front acceleration detection result and
obtain acceleration in a rear direction of the vehicle as a rear acceleration detection result,

wherein the front collision detection unit is further configured to
input the front acceleration detection result and the rear acceleration detection result,
determine whether the front acceleration detection result is greater than a first front collision threshold and determine whether the rear acceleration detection result is greater than a second front collision threshold so as to determine whether the vehicle causes front collision,

wherein the rear collision detection unit is further configured to
input the front acceleration detection result and the rear acceleration detection result,
determine whether the front acceleration detection result is greater than a first rear collision threshold and determine whether the rear acceleration detection result is greater than a second rear collision threshold so as to determine whether the vehicle causes, rear collision,

wherein the rear collision detection unit is further configured to
change the first rear collision threshold and the second rear collision threshold, when the front collision detection unit detects front collision, such that
the front acceleration detection result easily exceeds the first rear collision threshold, and
the rear acceleration detection result easily exceeds the second rear collision threshold, and
determine rear collision of the vehicle.
8. The activation device according to claim 6, wherein the protection apparatus related to rear collision is at least one of an active headrest and a rear window curtain airbag.
9. A method for activating a protection apparatus for protecting an occupant, the method comprising:
detecting front collision of the vehicle;
detecting rear collision of the vehicle;
outputting a front-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to front collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to front collision when detecting front collision;
outputting a rear-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to rear collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to rear collision when detecting rear collision and when the outputting is not prohibited; and
prohibiting the outputting of the rear-collision-state activation signal for a first period when detecting front collision.
10. A method for activating a protection apparatus for protecting an occupant, the method comprising:
detecting front collision of the vehicle;
detecting rear collision of the vehicle;
outputting a front-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to front collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to front collision when detecting front collision;
outputting a rear-collision-state activation signal to a protection apparatus related to rear collision so as to activate the protection apparatus related to rear collision when detecting rear collision; and
easing detection of rear collision of the vehicle for a predetermined period when detecting front collision.
