1. An operations center coupled to a plurality of user devices via a coupling mechanism, the operations center comprising:
a tag creation module configured to create relational tags, wherein each relational tag ranks a base item with respect to at least one other item within an identified context, wherein the relational tags collectively form a graph of interconnected items; and
an analysis module configured to order the items within the graph based on the relational tags, to thereby provide an indication of a top-ranked item or bottom-ranked item in the graph.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the tag creation module is also configured to create category tags, wherein each category tag identifies a category of an associated item.
3. The system of claim 2, wherein the analysis module is configured to provide an ordered list of items within a selected category by filtering with respect to a category tag associated with the selected category.
4. The system of claim 1, wherein the analysis module includes a voting analysis module configured to analyze the collective tagging behavior of users and form a confidence level associated with the indication of the top-ranked item or the bottom-ranked item.
5. A computerized method for performing tag-related processing, comprising:
receiving a definition of a relational tag that relates a base item to at least one other item according to a defined relationship; and
storing the relational tag in a tag-related store, wherein the relational tag provides metadata pertaining to the base item.
6. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the base item pertains to an item that can be acquired by a user.
7. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the defined relationship ranks the base item with respect to said at least one other item within an identified context.
8. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the relationship asserts that the base item is a substitute for said at least one other item.
9. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the relationship asserts that the base item is an accessory of said at least one other item.
10. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the relational tag comprises:
a name tag that identifies a type of relationship expressed by the relational tag; and
a value tag that expresses said at least one other item.
11. The computerized method of claim 5, wherein the relational tag is stored in a data structure, the data structure also storing at least one category tag that identifies a category of the base item.
12. The computerized method of claim 5, further comprising repeating the receiving and storing with respect to a plurality of different base items to establish a graph of interconnected items.
13. The computerized method of claim 12, wherein at least two items in the graph are directly related.
14. The computerized method of claim 12, wherein at least two items in the graphs are indirectly related through a chain of items.
15. The computerized method of claim 12, further comprising performing comparative analysis on the graph of interconnected items.
16. The computerized method of claim 15, wherein the comparative analysis involves analyzing a plurality of relational tags to rank the items in the graph of interconnected items, to thereby provide an indication of a top-ranked item or bottom-ranked item in the graph.
17. The computerized method of claim 16, further comprising tagging items with category tags, wherein each category tag identifies a category of an associated item.
18. The computerized method of claim 17, wherein the comparative analysis involves providing an ordered list of items within a selected category by filtering with respect to a category tag associated with the selected category.
19. The computerized method of claim 16, further comprising analyzing collective tagging behavior of users and forming a confidence level associated with the indication of the top-ranked item or the bottom-ranked item.
20. One or more computer-readable media containing machine-readable instructions for implemented the computerized method of claim 5.
21. One or more computing devices, comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory to store computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, perform the computerized method of claim 5.
22. A computerized method for performing tag-related processing, comprising:
accessing a store of relational tags that annotate respective items, wherein each relational tag relates a base item to at least one other item; and
performing comparative analysis on the relational tags in the store to provide an output result.
23. The computerized method of claim 22, wherein at least one relational tag in the store is based on a relationship that ranks the base item with respect to said at least one other item within an identified context.
24. The computerized method of claim 22, wherein the comparative analysis involves ranking the items to provide an indication of a top-ranked item or bottom-ranked item.
25. One or more computer-readable media containing machine-readable instructions for implemented the computerized method of claim 22.
26. One or more computing devices, comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory to store computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, perform the computerized method of claim 22.
27. A tagging data structure embodied on a computer-readable media to support tagging of digital content, the data structure comprising:
a relational tag that relates a base item with at least one other item according to a defined relationship,
wherein the relationship ranks the base item with respect to said at least one other item within a defined context.
28. The tagging data structure of claim 27, wherein the relational tag comprises:
a name tag that identifies a type of relationship expressed by the relational tag; and
a value tag that expresses said at least one other item.
29. The tagging data structure of claim 27, wherein the tagging data structure also stores at least one category tag that identifies a category of the base item.
30. A tagging data structure embodied on a computer-readable media to support tagging of digital content, the data structure comprising:
a plurality of relational tags that form a graph of interconnected items, wherein each relational tag comprises:
a relational tag that relates a base item with at least one other item according to a defined relationship,
wherein the relationship ranks the base item with respect to said at least one other item within an identified context.
31. A system for processing tags, comprising:
a tag-related store;
logic configured to create a relational tag that relates a base item with at least one other item according to a defined relationship; and
logic configured to store the relational tag in the tag-related store, wherein the relational tag provides metadata concerning the base item,
wherein the tag-related store provides a graph of interconnected items formed through the repeated application of the logic for receiving and logic for storing by a plurality of different users.
32. The one or more computers of claim 31, further comprising logic configured to perform comparative analysis on the graph of interconnected items.
33. The one or more computers of claim 32, wherein the comparative analysis involves analyzing a plurality of relational tags to rank the items in the graph of interconnected items within an identified context.

1. An apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle, the apparatus comprising:
a mounting portion, the mounting portion having an opening for receiving at least a portion of the body of the audio exciter;
a plurality of retention members extending inward from the perimeter of the opening and configured to engage the audio exciter when the audio exciter is received by the mounting portion;
the mounting portion having a base abutting a first end of the audio exciter, when the audio exciter is received in the mounting portion;
wherein at least a portion of each of the plurality of retention members is configured to abut a surface of the audio exciter facing away from the first end of the audio exciter, the plurality of retention members thereby urging the first end of the audio exciter against the base of the mounting portion;
at least one transverse supporting arm extending from the mounting portion; and
at least one fastener member disposed at a distal end of the at least one transverse supporting arm, the fastener member configured to secure to the body of a model vehicle.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein at least one of the retention members comprises a detent extending inwardly from the perimeter of the opening of the mounting portion.
3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the audio exciter comprises a central oscillating portion having a distal end extending axially and outwardly from the opening of the mounting portion away from the first end of the audio exciter, and wherein the at least one mechanical fastener is configured to secure the mounting portion containing the audio exciter to the body of the model vehicle adjacent the distal end of the central oscillating portion of the audio exciter.
4. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein the at least one mechanical fastener has an attachment end configured to attach to the body of the model vehicle and the attachment end of the at least one mechanical fastener extends from toward the body of the model vehicle substantially the same distance as the distal end of the central oscillating portion of the audio exciter.
5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the at least one transverse supporting arm extends radially outwardly from the mounting portion.
6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the at least one fastener member comprises a mounting boss containing a passage.
7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the at least one fastener member comprises a threaded passage for receiving a threaded fastener securing the at least one fastener member to the vehicle.
8. An apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle, the apparatus comprising:
the audio exciter comprising a central oscillating portion having a distal end extending axially and outwardly from the audio exciter;
adhesive material disposed on the distal end of the central oscillating portion of the audio exciter, wherein the adhesive material is configured to secure the central oscillating member to a mounting member; and
a mounting member configured to secure to the adhesive material disposed on the distal end of the central oscillating portion of the audio exciter and to secure to a body of a model vehicle.
9. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 8, further comprising at least one boss extending from the mounting member away from the audio exciter, the at least one boss having a central channel for receiving hardware configured to mount the mounting member to the body of a model vehicle.
10. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 8, further comprising:
a frame having a mount end and a protective end;
wherein the mount end is configured to secure to the mounting member and to the body of the model vehicle;
wherein the frame is configured to extend from the mount end around the outside of the audio exciter and to the protective end disposed on the opposite side of the audio exciter from the mounting end; and
wherein the frame protective end is disposed from the frame mount end a distance sufficient to allow oscillation of the audio exciter, limit over travel of the audio exciter, and protect the audio exciter from damage.
11. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 8 further comprising:
an enclosure portion having a mount end and a protective end;
wherein the mount end is configured to secure to the mounting member;
wherein the enclosure portion is configured to extend from the mount end around the outside of the audio exciter and to the protective end disposed on the opposite side of the audio exciter from the mounting end; and
wherein the enclosure portion protective end is disposed from the enclosure portion mount end a distance sufficient to allow oscillation of the audio exciter, limit over travel of the audio exciter, and protect the audio exciter from damage.
12. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 11, wherein the enclosure portion and the mount member are configured form a water resistant enclosure around the audio exciter, when the enclosure portion and mount member are secured together.
13. An apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle, the apparatus comprising:
a mounting portion, the mounting portion having an opening for receiving at least a portion of the body of the audio exciter;
a plurality of retention members extending inward from the perimeter of the opening and configured to engage the audio exciter when the audio exciter is received by the mounting portion;
the mounting portion having one or more support surfaces against which the plurality of retention members are configured to secure the audio exciter when the audio exciter is received in the mounting portion;
at least one transverse supporting arm supporting the mounting portion;
a plurality of fastener members, each disposed at an end of the at least one transverse supporting arm, the plurality of fastener members configured to secure to the body of a model vehicle; and
wherein the at least one transverse supporting member extends substantially across the width of a portion of the body of the model vehicle.
14. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, further comprising:
the audio exciter comprising a central oscillating portion having a distal end extending axially and outwardly from the audio exciter; and
adhesive material disposed on the distal end of the central oscillating portion of the audio exciter, wherein the adhesive material is configured to secure the central oscillating member to the body of a model vehicle.
15. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, wherein at least one of the plurality of fastener members further comprises a boss having a passage therethrough, the boss being disposed at a distal end of the at least one transverse supporting arm.
16. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, further comprising:
a plurality of transverse supporting arms supporting the mounting portion;
at least four fastener members, each disposed at an end of the plurality of transverse supporting arms, the at least four fastener members configured to secure to the body of a model vehicle; and
wherein the plurality of transverse supporting arms extend substantially across the width of a portion of the body of the model vehicle.
17. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, wherein the at least one transverse supporting arm extends in opposite directions from the mounting portion.
18. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 17 wherein the at least one transverse supporting arm extends between opposite lateral sides of a portion of the model vehicle body.
19. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 16, wherein a plurality of the at least four fastener members are each disposed on adjacent ends of the plurality of transverse supporting arms and further comprising a connecting wall extending between a plurality of the fastener members disposed on adjacent ends of the plurality of transverse supporting arms.
20. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, further comprising a mounting plate disposed at one end of the transverse supporting arm.
21. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 13, further comprising a mounting plate disposed at each end of the transverse supporting arm.
22. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 20, wherein the mounting plate comprises at least one passage formed for receiving mounting hardware.
23. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 22, wherein the mounting plate comprises a boss and wherein the passage extends at least partly through the boss.
24. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 23, wherein the passage is threaded for receiving a threaded fastener.
25. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 16, further comprising a plurality of mounting plates, wherein each mounting plate spans between two adjacent ends of the plurality of transverse supporting arms.
26. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 20, wherein the transverse supporting arm comprises a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first and second portions extend from the mounting portion in opposite directions and at least the length of the first portion of the transverse supporting arm is adjustable.
27. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 26, further comprising a receiving channel secured to the mounting portion and wherein the first portion of the transverse supporting arm is slidable within the receiving channel.
28. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 20, wherein the mounting plate is mounted for pivotal adjustment on the transverse supporting arm.
29. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 28, further comprising a mechanical fastener configured to secure the pivot angle of the mount plate.
30. The apparatus for supporting an audio exciter in a model vehicle of claim 8, further comprising a strain relief member secured to the mounting portion and configured to allow at least electrical wire powering the acoustic exciter to be secured to the strain relief member.
