1. A tibial implant configured for attachment to a tibia in a knee arthroplasty, the tibial implant comprising:
a baseplate configured for attachment to a partially resected proximal surface of the tibia and comprising:
a medial compartment;
a lateral compartment; and
an anterior bridge portion between the medial and lateral compartments such that a notch is formed between an inner surface of the medial compartment and an inner surface of the lateral compartment; and

an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate, the intercondylar component comprising:
a medial portion configured to connect to the inner surface of the medial compartment;
a lateral portion configured to connect to the inner surface of the lateral compartment; and
an arcuate portion between the medial portion and the lateral portion and configured to connect to the bridge portion of the baseplate.
2. The tibial implant of claim 1, wherein the intercondylar component includes a porous structure.
3. The tibial implant of claim 2, wherein the porous structure includes tantalum.
4. The tibial implant of claim 2, wherein substantially an entirety of the intercondylar component is formed of a porous metal structure.
5. The tibial implant of claim 1, wherein the baseplate includes a first plate formed of a porous structure and a second plate formed of a metal or polymeric material.
6. The tibial implant of claim 5, wherein the intercondylar component is integral with the first plate.
7. The tibial implant of claim 6 wherein the intercondylar component and the first plate are bondable to an underside of the second plate.
8. The tibial implant of claim 1, wherein the partially resected proximal surface of the tibia includes at least a portion of an intercondylar eminence of the tibia and at least one of the ACL and PCL, and the intercondylar component engages with the intercondylar eminence when the tibial implant is attached to the tibia.
9. The tibial implant of claim 1, wherein one or more openings are formed in one or both of the medial and lateral compartment of the baseplate, the one or more openings configured to receive a bone screw for securement of the tibial implant to the resected tibia.
10. A tibial component configured for attachment to a tibial implant having an elongated cut-out extending from a posterior end toward an anterior end of the implant, the tibial component comprising:
a first elongated portion;
a second elongated portion; and
an arcuate portion between the first and second elongated portions, wherein outer surfaces of the first and second elongated portions and the arcuate portion are configured to connect to surfaces of the tibial implant that form the elongated cut-out, and wherein inner surfaces of at least a portion of the first and second elongated portions and the arcuate portion are configured to engage with at least a portion of an intercondylar eminence remaining after resecting a proximal surface of the tibia.
11. The tibial component of claim 10 wherein the tibial component is formed of a porous metal.
12. The tibial component of claim 11 wherein the porous metal is tantalum.
13. The tibial component of claim 10 wherein the tibial component further comprises a porous plate and the first and second elongated portions and the arcuate portion are integral with or attachable to the porous plate.
14. The tibial component of claim 13 wherein the porous plate corresponds in size and shape to the tibial implant.
15. The tibial component of claim 13 wherein the tibial component is bondable to the tibial implant.
16. A method of performing a knee arthroplasty, the method comprising:
partially resecting a proximal surface of a tibia, while retaining at least a portion of an intercondylar eminence of the tibia and at least one of the ACL and PCL;
attaching a tibial implant to the resected proximal surface of the tibia, the tibial implant comprising:
a baseplate having an inferior surface configured to contact the resected proximal surface of the tibia, a medial compartment, a lateral compartment, and an anterior bridge portion connecting the medial and lateral compartments such that a cut-out is formed between inner surfaces of the medial and lateral compartments; and
an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate and comprising:
a first elongated portion configured to connect to the inner surface of the medial compartment of the baseplate;
a second elongated portion configured to connect to the inner surface of the lateral compartment of the baseplate; and
an arcuate portion between the first and second elongated portions and configured to connect to the bridge portion of the baseplate; and
engaging the intercondylar component with at least a portion of the retained intercondylar eminence to promote bone ingrowth.
17. The method of claim 16 wherein engaging the intercondylar component with at least a portion of the retained intercondylar eminence includes forming a first press fit between the first elongated portion of the intercondylar component and the intercondylar eminence at or near a posterior end of the tibia and forming a second press fit between the second elongated portion of the intercondylar component and the intercondylar eminence at or near the posterior end of the tibia.
18. The method of claim 16 wherein partially resecting a proximal surface of the tibia comprises:
resecting the medial and lateral articular surfaces of the tibia such that at least a portion of the intercondylar eminence remains between a resected surface on the medial side of the tibia and a resected surface on the lateral side of the tibia; and
resecting an anterior surface of the tibia between the medial and lateral articular surfaces.
19. The method of claim 18 wherein the remaining portion of the intercondylar eminence includes side walls forming an exterior surface of the intercondylar eminence having a size and shape configured to correspond with the first and second elongated portions and the arcuate portion of the intercondylar component.
20. The method of claim 19 further comprising:
forming a groove in the side walls of the remaining portion of the intercondylar eminence such that the intercondylar component can be pressed into the groove upon engaging the intercondylar component with the intercondylar eminence.
21. A tibial implant configured for attachment to a tibia in a unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, the tibial implant comprising:
a baseplate configured for attachment to a resected medial or lateral compartment of the tibia; and
an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate and comprising:
an inner surface configured to engage with an inner edge of the baseplate; and
an outer surface configured to engage with an intercondylar eminence of the tibia, wherein the intercondylar component is formed of a porous metal structure to promote bone ingrowth of the intercondylar eminence and the resected medial or lateral compartment of the tibia.
22. The tibial implant of claim 21 wherein the baseplate includes a first plate formed of a porous metal structure and a second plate formed of a metal or polymeric material.
23. The tibial implant of claim 22 wherein the intercondylar component is integral with the first plate, and the intercondylar component and the first plate are bonded to an underside of the second plate.
24. The tibial implant of claim 21 wherein the tibial implant further comprises one or more fins attachable to or integral with an underside of the baseplate for attachment of the baseplate to a resected surface of the tibia.
25. A tibial implant configured for attachment to a tibia in a knee arthroplasty, the tibial implant comprising:
a baseplate; and
one or more fins attachable to or integral with an underside of the baseplate, the one or more fins configured for engagement with one or more channels formed in a resected portion of the tibia.
26. The tibial implant of claim 25 wherein the baseplate comprises:
a medial compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof;
a lateral compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof; and
an anterior bridge portion between the medial and lateral compartments such that a notch is formed between an inner surface of the medial compartment and an inner surface of the lateral compartment.
27. The tibial implant of claim 26, further comprising an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate and comprising:
a medial portion configured to connect to an inner surface of the medial compartment of the baseplate;
a lateral portion configured to connect to an inner surface of the lateral compartment of the baseplate; and
an arcuate portion between the medial portion and the lateral portion and configured to connect to the anterior bridge portion of the baseplate.
28. The tibial implant of claim 25 wherein the one or more fins comprise a porous structure.
29. The tibial implant of claim 28 wherein the porous structure includes tantalum.
30. The tibial implant of claim 25 wherein the baseplate includes a first plate formed of a porous structure and a second plate formed of a metal or polymeric material.
31. The tibial implant of claim 30 wherein the one or more fins are integral with the first plate.
32. The tibial implant of claim 31 wherein the one or more fins and the first plate are bondable to an underside of the second plate.
33. The tibial implant of claim 25 wherein each of the one or more fins have a side surface disposed at an acute angle to an underside surface.
34. The tibial implant of claim 33 wherein each of the one or more fins have a generally trapezoidal cross-sectional shape.
35. The tibial implant of claim 25, wherein the baseplate is configured for use in a unicompartmental procedure and comprises only one of a medial compartment or a lateral compartment, and wherein the one or more fins extend from an underside of the medial compartment or the lateral compartment.
36. A method of performing a knee arthroplasty, the method comprising:
partially resecting a proximal surface of a tibia;
attaching a tibial implant to the resected proximal surface of the tibia from an anterior side of the tibia toward a posterior side thereof, the tibial implant comprising:
a baseplate having an inferior surface configured to interface with the resected proximal surface of the tibia; and
one or more fins attachable to or integral with the inferior surface of the baseplate; and

engaging the one or more fins with one or more channels formed in the resected proximal surface of the tibia to secure the tibial implant on the tibia.
37. The method of claim 36 further comprising providing the one or more fins with a porous material to promote bone ingrowth of the tibia.
38. The method of claim 36 wherein the baseplate comprises:
a medial compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof;
a lateral compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof;
an anterior bridge portion connecting the medial and lateral sides such that a cut-out is formed between inner surfaces of the medial and lateral sides; and
an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate.
39. The method of claim 38 wherein partially resecting the proximal surface of the tibia includes retaining at least a portion of an intercondylar eminence of the tibia and at least one of the ACL and PCL, and the method further comprises engaging the intercondylar component with at least a portion of the retained intercondylar eminence to promote bone ingrowth.
40. The method of claim 38 wherein the baseplate comprises only one of:
a medial compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof or a lateral compartment having at least one of the one or more fins extending from an underside thereof.
41. The method of claim 40 further comprising an intercondylar component attachable to or integral with the baseplate.
43. The method of claim 41 further comprising engaging the intercondylar component with at least a portion of the retained intercondylar eminence to promote bone ingrowth.

1. A room service table, comprising:
a frame;
a table top;
wheels supporting the frame;
a push handle movable between a use position and a storage position, wherein the handle is fixed and extends above and beyond the table top in the use position and wherein the handle is fixed and extends along an underside of the table top in the storage position.
2. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle pivots between the use position and the storage position.
3. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle is rigidly set at the use position and at the storage position.
4. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle extends above the wheels at the use position and at the storage position.
5. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle is movable between the use position and the storage position while the cart is supported on the wheels.
6. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle includes a rigid grip portion and connecting portion, wherein the connecting portion pivotally mounts to an underside of the table top.
7. A table according to claim 1, wherein the table top comprises a center portion and side portions folding downward.
8. A table according to claim 1, further comprising a handle lock for locking the handle at the use position and at the storage position.
9. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle includes a pivot axis and wherein the handle extends in a first direction away from and above the pivot axis at the use position and wherein the handle extends in a second generally horizontal direction away from the pivot axis at the storage position.
10. A table according to claim 1, wherein the handle comprises a grip portion, wherein the grip portion is proximate an underside of the table top in the storage position.
11. A handle according to claim 3, wherein the wherein the grip portion of the handle abuts the underside of the table at the storage position.
12. A room service table, comprising:
a folding table top having a center portion and folding side portions;
a frame supporting the center portion;
wheels mounted to the frame;
a handle pivotally mounted to an underside of the center portion, wherein the handle pivots between a first position with the handle rigidly fixed beneath and proximate the table top center portion, and a second position with handle rigidly fixed above the table top.
13. A room service table according to claim 12, wherein the handle extends horizontally beyond a periphery of the table top.
14. A room service table according to claim 12, wherein the handle comprises a push handle.
15. A handle for a room service table having a table top, a frame supporting the table top, and wheels mounted to the frame, the handle comprising:
a pivot configured for mounting at an underside of the table;
a grip portion configured for gripping while pushing by a user;
a connecting portion attaching to the pivot and the grip portion;
a first lock for rigidly fixing the handle at a use position wherein the handle extends above and beyond the table top; and
a second lock for rigidly fixing the handle at a storage position wherein the handle extends substantially along an underside of the table top.
16. A handle according to claim 15, wherein the first lock and the second lock are releasable.
17. A room service table, comprising:
a folding table top having a center portion and folding side portions;
a frame supporting the center portion and including spaced part vertical frame members defining open ends;
wheels mounted to the frame;
a handle pivotally mounted to an underside of the center portion, wherein the handle pivots through a first one of the open ends between a use position with the handle rigidly fixed above the table top and a storage position with the handle rigidly fixed beneath and proximate the center portion.
18. A room service table according to claim 17, wherein the handle extends along an underside of the table top at the storage position.
19. A room service table according to claim 17, wherein the handle pivots more than 180 degrees between the use position and the storage position.
20. A roam service table according to claim 17, wherein the handle pivots to the storage position through a position beyond vertical.
21. A room service table according to claim 17, wherein the handle extends substantially horizontally at the storage position.
22. A room service table according to claim 18, wherein the handle pivots more than 180 degrees between the use position and the storage position.
23. A room service table according to claim 22, wherein the handle passes through a vertically extending position intermediate the use position and the storage position.
