1. An apparatus comprising:
a decoding unit configured to decode plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
a selecting unit configured to select security information having a higher security level from security information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
a generating unit configured to generate a two-dimensional code based on the selected security information having the higher security level;
a combining unit configured to combine the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
an outputting unit configured to output a result obtained by the combining.
2. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the outputting unit outputs the result obtained by the combining on a sheet of paper.
3. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the generating unit generates the two-dimensional code including the security information selected from the security information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes but not including the unselected security information.
4. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising: a deletion unit configured to delete a two-dimensional code including the selected security information from the image data prior to the combining by the combining unit.
5. An apparatus comprising:
a decoding unit configured to decode plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
a selecting unit configured to select a part of information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
a generating unit configured to generate a two-dimensional code including the selected part but not including the unselected part;
a combining unit configured to combine the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
an outputting unit configured to output a result obtained by the combining.
6. The apparatus according to claim 5,
wherein the output result does not include one of the plural two-dimensional codes including the selected part, but includes the generated two-dimensional code and the other of the plural two-dimensional codes not including the selected part.
7. An apparatus comprising:
a decoding unit configured to decode plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
a selecting unit configured to select older tracking information from tracking information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes;
a generating unit configured to generate a two-dimensional code based on the selected tracking information;
a combining unit configured to combine the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
an outputting unit configured to output a result obtained by the combining.
8. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the outputting unit outputs the result obtained by the combining on a sheet of paper.
9. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the generating unit generates the two-dimensional code including the tracking information selected from the tracking information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes but not including the unselected tracking information.
10. The apparatus according to claim 7, further comprising: a deletion unit configured to delete a two-dimensional code including the selected tracking information from the image data prior to the combining by the combining unit.
11. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the plural two-dimensional codes include security information having the same security level.
12. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein tracking information indicates a user who has instructed to print a document.
13. A method comprising:
decoding plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
selecting security information having a higher security level from security information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
generating a two-dimensional code based on the selected security information having the higher security level;
combining the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
outputting a result obtained by the combining.
14. The method according to claim 13, wherein the outputting step outputs the result obtained by the combining on a sheet of paper.
15. The method according to claim 13, wherein the generating step generates the two-dimensional code including the security information selected from the security information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes but not including the unselected security information.
16. The method according to claim 13, further comprising: deleting a two-dimensional code including the selected security information from the image data prior to the combining by the combining step.
17. A method comprising:
decoding plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
selecting a part of information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
generating a two-dimensional code including the selected part but not including the unselected part;
combining the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
outputting a result obtained by the combining.
18. The method according to claim 17,
wherein the output result does not include one of the plural two-dimensional codes including the selected part, but includes the generated two-dimensional code and the other of the plural two-dimensional codes not including the selected part.
19. A method comprising:
decoding plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
selecting older tracking information from tracking information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes;
generating a two-dimensional code based on the selected tracking information;
combining the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
outputting a result obtained by the combining.
20. The method according to claim 19, wherein the outputting step outputs the result obtained by the combining on a sheet of paper.
21. The method according to claim 19, wherein the generating step generates the two-dimensional code including the tracking information selected from the tracking information obtained by the decoding of the plural two-dimensional codes but not including the unselected tracking information.
22. The method according to claim 19, further comprising: deleting a two-dimensional code including the selected tracking information from the image data prior to the combining by the combining step.
23. The method according to claim 19, wherein the plural two-dimensional codes include security information having the same security level.
24. The method according to claim 19, wherein tracking information indicates a user who has instructed to print a document.
25. A computer-readable storage medium storing a control program, which when loaded into a computer and executed performs a method comprising:
decoding plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
selecting security information having a higher security level from security information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
generating a two-dimensional code based on the selected security information having the higher security level;
combining the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
outputting a result obtained by the combining.
26. A computer-readable storage medium storing a control program, which when loaded into a computer and executed performs a method comprising:
decoding plural two-dimensional codes in image data;
selecting a part of information obtained by the decoding of plural two-dimensional codes;
generating a two-dimensional code including the selected part but not including the unselected part;
combining the generated two-dimensional code with the image data; and
outputting a result obtained by the combining.

What is claimed is:
1. A synchronous counter comprising:
at least three or more storage elements having a chain structure; and
at least two or more 2-input logic gates interposed in said chain structure,
wherein the number of stages of gates interposed between the output of one among said storage elements and the input of another among said storage elements is one stage of a 2-input logic gate even in the most path.
2. A synchronous counter comprising:
a first storage element in which a first signal and a second signal are set to binary values via a set line and a control line, respectively;
at least two or more second storage elements capable of setting said second signal to a certain value via said control line; and
at least two or more 2-input logic gates interposed in a chain structure constructed by said first and second storage elements,
wherein the number of stages of gates interposed between the output of one among said first and second storage elements and the input of another among said first and second storage elements is one stage of a 2-input logic gate even in the most path.
3. The synchronous counter according to claim 1, wherein said 2-input logic is constructed by a 2-input EXOR gate.
4. The synchronous counter according to claim 2, wherein said 2-input logic is constructed by a 2-input EXOR gate.
