1. A method for battery gauging in a portable terminal having at least two processors, the method comprising:
determining, by a first processor, whether a listening interval occurs for detecting the presence of a received signal, if the at least two processors operate in a low-power mode;
detecting, by the first processor, the remaining battery capacity, if the listening interval is detected;
transmitting, by the first processor, an interrupt signal to a second processor operating in the low-power mode, if the remaining battery capacity is less than or equal to a threshold; and
waking up, by the second processor, to interrupt the power of the portable terminal upon receiving the interrupt signal.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the low-power mode comprises one of a sleep mode and an idle mode.
3. The method of claim 1, further comprising maintaining the low-power mode if the remaining battery capacity is greater than the threshold.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the threshold comprises a minimum driving voltage of the portable terminal.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the detecting of the remaining battery capacity comprises converting an analog voltage signal of the battery into a digital voltage signal.
6. A method for battery gauging in a portable terminal, the method comprising:
waking up in a low-power mode upon receiving an interrupt signal from a voltage detector; and
interrupting the power of the portable terminal according to the interrupt signal.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the low-power mode comprises one of a sleep mode and an idle mode.
8. The method of claim 6, wherein the interrupt signal is transmitted by the voltage detector in the low-power mode to inform that the remaining battery capacity is less than a minimum driving voltage of the portable terminal.
9. An apparatus for battery gauging in a portable terminal, the apparatus comprising:
a first processor for detecting the remaining battery capacity in a low-power mode during a listening interval for detection of the presence of a received signal, and for transmitting an interrupt signal to a second processor if the remaining battery capacity is less than or equal to a threshold;
the second processor for waking up to interrupt the power of the portable terminal upon receiving the interrupt signal from the first processor in a low-power mode; and
a power unit for interrupting the power of the portable terminal under the control of the second processor.
10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the low-power mode comprises one of a sleep mode and an idle mode.
11. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first processor maintains the low-power mode if the remaining battery capacity is greater than the threshold.
12. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first processor compares the remaining battery capacity with a minimum driving voltage of the portable terminal.
13. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first processor comprises:
an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for converting an analog voltage signal of the battery into a digital voltage signal; and
a gauging unit for detecting the digital voltage signal as the remaining battery capacity and for comparing the digital voltage signal with the threshold.
14. An apparatus for battery gauging in a portable terminal, the apparatus comprising:
a voltage detector for generating an interrupt signal if the battery voltage is less than or equal to a threshold;
a control unit for waking up in a low-power mode to interrupt the power of the portable terminal upon receiving the interrupt signal from the voltage detector; and
a power unit for interrupting the power of the portable terminal under the control of the control unit.
15. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein the voltage detector is connected to the control unit in General-Purpose InputOutput (GPIO) mode.
16. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein the voltage detector generates the interrupt signal if the remaining battery capacity is less than or equal to the minimum possible driving voltage of the portable terminal.
17. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein the low-power mode comprises one of a sleep mode and an idle mode.
18. An apparatus for battery gauging in a portable terminal having at least two processors, the apparatus comprising:
means for determining, by a first processor, whether a listening interval occurs for detecting the presence of a received signal, if the at least two processors operate in a low-power mode;
means for detecting, by the first processor, the remaining battery capacity, if the listening interval is detected;
means for transmitting, by the first processor, an interrupt signal to a second processor operating in the low-power mode, if the remaining battery capacity is less than or equal to a threshold; and
means for waking up, by the second processor, to interrupt the power of the portable terminal upon receiving the interrupt signal.
19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the low-power mode comprises one of a sleep mode and an idle mode.
20. The apparatus of claim 18, further comprising means for maintaining the low-power mode if the remaining battery capacity is greater than the threshold.
21. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the threshold comprises a minimum driving voltage of the portable terminal.
22. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the means for detecting of the remaining battery capacity comprises means for converting an analog voltage signal of the battery into a digital voltage signal.

1. An apparatus for coating a surface of a rollable medical device comprising:
a device rotator comprising at least one pair of rollers, said at least one pair comprising a first roller and a second roller separated by a gap; wherein the device rotator is configured to hold the device within the gap such that the device contacts the first and second roller;
a spray nozzle able to produce a spray of a coating material, wherein the spray nozzle is arranged to direct the spray at the gap;
and
a device retaining member disposed at a distance from at least one of the rollers that is less than the diameter of the rollable medical device, the device retaining member comprising a wire disposed in a plane that is substantially parallel to at least one of the rollers.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a spray nozzle support member attached to the spray nozzle, the device retaining member operably connected to the spray nozzle support member.
3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first roller, second roller, or both first and second rollers, comprise a plurality of ribs.
4. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein the first roller and second roller each comprise an axis of rotation, wherein the ribs have a shape that is wider proximal to the roller axis and narrower distal to the axis of rotation.
5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the spray nozzle is movable in a direction parallel to the first or second roller.
6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the spray nozzle is movable.
7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the spray nozzle comprises a sonicating member.
8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the sonicating member comprises a channel for gas flow.
9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the gap is in the range of 0.1 mm-10 mm.
10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the gap is in the range of 0.1 mm-1.5 mm.
11. The apparatus of claim 1, the rollable medical device comprising an outside diameter of less than 1.5 mm.
12. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the spray nozzle comprises a tip, the tip being a portion of the spray nozzle that is most proximal to the gap, and the distance from the tip to the gap is in the range of 1-10 mm.
13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the apparatus is adapted and configured for batch processing of a plurality of rollable medical devices.
14. An apparatus for coating a surface of a rollable medical device comprising:
a device rotator comprising at least one pair of rollers comprising a first roller and a second roller separated by a gap, wherein the device rotator is configured to hold the device within the gap such the device contacts the first and second roller;
a spray nozzle disposed above the at least one pair of rollers, the spray nozzle configured to produce a spray of a coating material, the spray nozzle arranged to direct the spray downward at the gap; and
a device retaining member disposed at a distance from at least one of the rollers that is less than the diameter of the rollable medical device, the device retaining member comprising an elongate surface disposed above the at least one pair of rollers.
15. The apparatus of claim 14, the device retaining member comprising a bar.
16. The apparatus of claim 14, the device retaining member having a cylindrical shape with a length and a diameter, the length of the device retaining member substantially parallel to the gap between the first roller and the second roller.
17. The apparatus of claim 14, the device retaining member comprising a wire.
18. The apparatus of claim 14, the device retaining member comprising a material selected from the group consisting of polymers, metals, and composites.
19. An apparatus for coating a surface of a rollable medical device comprising:
a device rotator comprising at least one pair of rollers, said at least one pair comprising a first roller and a second roller separated by a gap, wherein the device rotator is configured to hold the device within the gap such that the device contacts the first and second roller;
a spray nozzle configured to produce a spray of a coating material, the spray nozzle arranged to direct the spray at the gap;
a spray nozzle support member attached to the spray nozzle, the spray nozzle support member configured to move the spray nozzle relative to the at least one pair of rollers in a direction parallel to the gap; and
a device retaining member disposed at a distance from at least one of the rollers that is less than the diameter of the rollable medical device, the device retaining member attached to the spray nozzle support member.
20. The apparatus of claim 19, the device retaining member comprising a bar.
21. The apparatus of claim 19, the device retaining member comprising a wire.
22. The apparatus of claim 19, the device retaining member comprising a material selected from the group consisting of polymers, metals, and composites.
