1. A method of producing a film, comprising the steps of:
melt-extruding a resin in the form of film from a T-die,
powder-spraying an anti-blocking agent in an area-average spraying amount of 0.5 to 3 gm2 on the roll surface of a cooling roll, and
nip roll the melt-extruded melted resin in the form of film on the roll surface of the cooling roll on which the anti-blocking agent has been powder-sprayed.
2. The method of producing a film according to claim 1, wherein the resin is a polyolefin resin.
3. The method of producing a film according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the resin melt-extruding temperature is 150 to 340\xb0 C., and the melt-extruded melted resin in the form of film is pressure-bonded to the roll surface with a pressing roll linear pressure of 4.9 to 24.5 kNm.
4. The method of producing a film according to claim 1, wherein the anti-blocking agent is powder-sprayed on the roll surface by an electrostatic powder coating spray.
5. The method of producing a film according to claim 1, wherein the anti-blocking agent is powder-sprayed on the roll surface by a blocking-preventing powder disseminating machine.

The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.

1. A nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery comprising: a negative electrode (1) which is formed by disposing on a conductive substrate a mixture layer containing a hydrogen-absorption alloy; a positive electrode employing nickel hydroxide as an active material; and a closed-end tubular container containing a spiral-shaped electrode assembly formed by winding the negative electrode and the positive electrode with a separator interposed therebetween such that an outermost periphery of the assembly is the negative electrode (1), wherein
surface roughness of an outermost peripheral portion of the mixture layer of the negative electrode (1) which contacts an inner side wall of the closed-end tubular container is 3.5 \u03bcm or more in terms of ten-point average roughness and is larger than surface roughness of the other portion of the mixture layer of the negative electrode.
2. The nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery according to claim 1, wherein the surface roughness of the outermost peripheral portion of the mixture layer of the negative electrode (1) which contacts the inner side wall of the closed-end tubular container is in a range of from 5 to 50 \u03bcm in terms of ten-point average roughness.
3. A method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery, the method comprising:
a first step of producing a negative electrode hoop by applying a paste of a mixture containing a hydrogen-absorption alloy to a conductive substrate and drying the paste;
a second step of pressurizing and cutting the negative electrode hoop; and
a third step of passing the cut negative electrode (1) between a cylindrical grindstone (2) and a crimping roller (3) to grind a portion of the mixture layer with a periphery of the cylindrical grindstone (2), the portion being brought into contact with an inner side wall of a closed-end tubular container after the cut negative electrode is formed into a wound electrode assembly.
4. The method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery according to claim 3, wherein in the third step a rotating direction of the cylindrical grindstone (2) is opposite to a grinding direction of the mixture layer.
