1. An insecticidal composition comprising
a) a pyrethroid;
b) a hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate; and
c) at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a sucrose ester, a lignosulfonate, an alkylpolyglycoside, a naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate and a phosphate ester.
2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the pyrethroid is selected from the group consisting of bifenthrin, zeta-cypermethrin, beta-cypermethrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, permethrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, tralomethrin, cyfluthrin and beta-cyfluthrin.
3. The composition of claim 2, wherein the pyrethroid is bifenthrin.
4. The composition of claim 1, wherein the pyrethroid is present in a concentration of from 1.0% by weight to 25.0% by weight based upon the total weight of all components in the composition.
5. The composition of claim 1, wherein the hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate is selected from the group consisting of montmorillonite and attapulgite.
6. The composition of claim 1, wherein the phosphate ester is selected from the group consisting of a nonyl phenol phosphate ester and a tridecyl alcohol ethoxylated phosphate potassium salt.
7. The composition of claim 1 further comprising at least one of an anti-freeze agent, an anti-foam agent and a biocide.
8. The composition of claim 1, wherein the dispersant is present in a total concentration of from 0.02% by weight to 15% by weight based upon the total weight of all components in the composition.
9. The composition of claim 1, further comprising an insecticidally effective amount of one or more additional insecticides selected from the group consisting of imidacloprid, flonicamid, nithiazine, thiamethoxam, dinotefuran, nitenpyram, thiacloprid, clothianadin and chlorfenapyr.
10. An insecticidal fertilizer composition comprising
a) a pyrethroid;
b) a hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate;
c) at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a sucrose ester, a lignosulfonate, an alkylpolyglycoside, a naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate and a phosphate ester; and
d) a liquid fertilizer.
11. The composition of claim 10, wherein the liquid fertilizer is present in a concentration of from 95.0% by weight to 99.99% by weight based upon the total weight of all components in the formulation.
12. The composition of claim 10 further comprising at least one of an anti-freeze agent, an anti-foam agent and a biocide.
13. The composition of claim 10, further comprising an insecticidally effective amount of one or more additional insecticides selected from the group consisting of imidacloprid, flonicamid, nithiazine, thiamethoxam, dinotefuran, nitenpyram, thiacloprid, clothianadin and chlorfenapyr.
14. A composition comprising
a) from 15% to 25% of bifenthrin;
b) from 1% to 20% of hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate; and
c) from 0.02% to 15% of at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a sucrose ester, a lignosulfonate, an alkylpolyglycoside, a naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate and a phosphate ester; wherein all % are % by weight based upon the total weight of all components in the composition.
15. A composition comprising
a) from 0.75% to 1.25% of bifenthrin;
b) from 0.05% to 1.0% of hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate;
c) from 0.1% to 0.75% of at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a sucrose ester, a lignosulfonate, an alkylpolyglycoside, a naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate and a phosphate ester; and
d) from 95% to 99.99% of a liquid fertilizer;
wherein all % are % by weight based upon the total weight of all components in the composition.
16. A method for controlling unwanted insects and providing nutrients to plants, said method comprising applying to an area infested with said insects and containing said plants an effective amount of the formulation of claim 10.
17. A method for controlling unwanted insects and providing nutrients to plants, said method comprising applying to an area infested with said insects and containing said plants an effective amount of the formulation of claim 15.
18. A process for preparing a composition, said process comprising
a) dispersing a pyrethroid in a mixture of water and at least one dispersant; and optionally an anti-freeze agent, an anti-foam agent and a biocide;
b) wet milling the mixture; and
c) adding a hydrated aluminum-magnesium silicate.
19. The process of claim 18 further comprising
d) adding the resultant mixture to a liquid fertilizer.

What is claimed is:
1. An EL display device comprising an EL element containing a cathode, an EL layer, and an anode, wherein the surface of the cathode on the side closer to the EL layer has a textured structure.
2. A device according to claim 1, wherein the cathode is formed on an electrode having a textured structure on its surface.
3. A device according to claim 1 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
4. An EL display device comprising:
a plurality of cathodes formed in a stripe shape;
an EL layer formed over the plurality of cathodes; and
a plurality of anodes formed in a stripe shape over the EL layer;
wherein:
the plurality of cathodes and the plurality of anodes are arranged so as to be orthogonal to each other; and
the surfaces of the plurality of cathodes on the sides closer to the EL layer have textured structures.
5. A device according to claim 4, wherein the cathode is formed on an electrode having a textured structure on its surface.
6. A device according to claim 4 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
7. An EL display device comprising an EL element containing a cathode, an EL layer, and an anode,
wherein the EL element is electrically connected to a TFT, and
wherein the surface of the cathode on the side closer to the EL layer has a textured structure.
8. A device according to claim 7, wherein the cathode is formed on an electrode having a textured structure on its surface.
9. A device according to claim 7 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
10. A method of manufacturing an EL display device, comprising:
a step of forming a textured structure on a surface of an electrode;
a step of forming a cathode over the electrode having the textured structure;
a step of forming an EL layer over the cathode; and
a step of forming an anode over the EL layer.
11. A method according to claim 10, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by photolithography.
12. A method according to claim 10, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by holography.
13. A device according to claim 10 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
14. A method of manufacturing an EL display device, comprising:
a step of forming a plurality of electrodes arranged in a stripe shape;
a step of forming textured structures on the plurality of electrodes;
a step of forming a cathode over the plurality of electrodes on which the textured structures are formed;
a step of forming an EL layer over the cathode; and
a step of forming a plurality of anodes arranged in a stripe shape over the EL layer so as to be orthogonal to the plurality of electrodes arranged in the stripe shape.
15. A method according to claim 14, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by photolithography.
16. A method according to claim 14, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by holography.
17. A device according to claim 14 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
18. A method of manufacturing an EL display device, comprising:
a step of forming a TFT;
a step of forming a pixel electrode electrically connected to the TFT;
a step of forming a textured structure on a surface of the pixel electrode;
a step of forming a cathode over the pixel electrode on which the textured structure is formed;
a step of forming an EL layer over the cathode; and
a step of forming an anode over the EL layer.
19. A method according to claim 18, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by photolithography.
20. A method according to claim 18, wherein the step of forming the textured structure is performed by holography.
21. A device according to claim 18 wherein the EL display device is incorporated into a device selected from the group consisting of a video camera, a digital camera, a goggle type display, a game machine, a car navigation system, a personal computer, a portable information terminal, a mobile computer, a portable telephone, an electronic book and an image playback device.
