What is claimed is;

1. A magnetic tape cartridge comprising a cartridge casing formed by upper and lower casing halves, a single reel around which a magnetic tape with a leader pin fixed to the leading end thereof is wound and which is contained in the cartridge casing for rotation, and a spring member for removably holding upper and lower end portions of the leader pin on the cartridge casing,
wherein the improvement comprises that the spring member comprises upper and lower holding portions which are respectively brought into abutment against the upper and lower end portions of the leader pin and are connected to each other.
2. A magnetic tape cartridge as defined in claim 1 in which the spring member is symmetrical about both its horizontal and vertical axes.
3. A magnetic tape cartridge as defined in claim 1 in which the spring member is further provided with a pressing portion which urges the leader pin in its axial direction.
4. A magnetic tape cartridge comprising a cartridge casing formed by upper and lower casing halves, a single reel around which a magnetic tape with a leader pin fixed to the leading end thereof is wound and which is contained in the cartridge casing for rotation, and a spring member for removably holding at least one of upper and lower end portions of the leader pin on the cartridge casing,
wherein the improvement comprises that the spring member comprises at least one resilient pin holding member which is held in a position where it can resiliently engage with upper or lower end portion of the leader pin pinched by an end face of a spacer tube and upper or lower inner surface of the cartridge casing, the spacer tube being fitted on a support pin erected on the upper surface of the lower casing half in a height substantially equal to the space between the lower surface of upper casing half and the upper surface of the lower casing half.
5. A magnetic tape cartridge comprising a cartridge casing formed by upper and lower casing halves, and a single reel around which a magnetic tape with a leader pin fixed to the leading end thereof is wound and which is contained in the cartridge casing for rotation,
wherein the improvement comprises that a resilient member which is resiliently brought into abutment against one of the upper and lower end faces of the leader pin to removably hold the leader pin on the cartridge casing is provided on the upper or lower casing half.
6. A magnetic tape cartridge as defined in claim 5 in which said resilient member comprises a resilient arm member formed integrally with the upper or lower casing half.
7. A magnetic tape cartridge as defined in claim 5 in which said resilient member comprises a resilient arm member which is fixed to the upper or lower casing half at its one end.
8. A magnetic tape cartridge as defined in claim 5 in which said resilient member comprises an elastic projection member which is fixed to the upper or lower inner surface of the cartridge casing.
9. A magnetic tape cartridge comprising a cartridge casing, and a single reel around which a magnetic tape with a leader pin fixed to the leading end thereof is wound and which is contained in the cartridge casing for rotation,
wherein the improvement comprises that an elastic member is provided on at least one of upper and lower inner surfaces of the cartridge casing to be brought into abutment against the upper or lower end face of the leader pin and to press the leader pin in the axial direction thereof under its elasticity, thereby removably holding the leader pin in the cartridge casing.
10. A magnetic tape cartridge comprising a cartridge casing, and a single reel around which a magnetic tape with a leader pin fixed to the leading end thereof is wound and which is contained in the cartridge casing for rotation,
wherein the improvement comprises that an elastic member which urges upper and lower end faces of the leader pin to resiliently abut against the upper and lower inner surfaces of the cartridge casing is provided on at least one of the upper and lower end portions and the leader pin is removably held in the cartridge casing under the elasticity of the elastic member.
