What is claimed is:

1. Dental pliers to create a bump in a dental appliance without requiring heating, comprising:
a first elongated member having a first jaw portion at one end and a handle portion at the other end, the jaw portion having a projection mounted at a distal end of the first jaw portion; and
a second elongated member joined to the first elongated member, the second elongated member having a second jaw portion at one end and a second handle portion at the other end, the second jaw portion adapted to receive the projection to create the bump in the dental appliance without heating.
2. The pliers of claim 1, further comprising an eraser pliers for erasing the bump, comprising:
a first elongated member having a first jaw portion at one end and a handle portion at the other end, the jaw portion having flat surface mounted at a distal end of the first jaw portion; and
a second elongated member joined to the first elongated member, the second elongated member having a second jaw portion at one end and a second handle portion at the other end, the second jaw portion having a second flat surface mounted at a distal end of the second jaw portion, the first and second flat surfaces adapted to engage and flatten the bump.
3. The pliers of claim 1, wherein the bump is formed at room temperature.
4. The pliers of claim 1, wherein the second handle is pivotally joined to the first handle.
5. The pliers of claim 1, wherein the appliances comprises a polymeric material.
6. The pliers of claim 4, wherein the polymeric material further comprises one of the following: hard block polyurethane polymer, polyester polycarbonate blends and polycarbonate, and polyester homopolymer.
7. A system to create a bump in a dental appliance without requiring heating, comprising:
bump-forming pliers, including:
a first elongated member having a first jaw portion at one end and a handle portion at the other end, the jaw portion having a projection mounted at a distal end of the first jaw portion; and
a second elongated member joined to the first elongated member, the second elongated member having a second jaw portion at one end and a second handle portion at the other end, the second jaw portion adapted to receive the projection to create the bump in the dental appliance without heating; and

eraser pliers for flattening the created bump, including:
a first elongated member having a first jaw portion at one end and a handle portion at the other end, the jaw portion having flat surface mounted at a distal end of the first jaw portion; and
a second elongated member joined to the first elongated member, the second elongated member having a second jaw portion at one end and a second handle portion at the other end, the second jaw portion having a second flat surface mounted at a distal end of the second jaw portion, the first and second flat surfaces adapted to engage and flatten the bump.
8. The system of claim 6, wherein the bump is formed at room temperature
9. The system of claim 6, wherein the second handle is pivotally joined to the first handle.
10. The system of claim 6, wherein the appliances comprises a polymeric material.
11. The system of claim 9, wherein the polymeric material further comprises one of the following: hard block polyurethane polymer, polyester polycarbonate blends and polycarbonate, and polyester homopolymer.
12. Eraser pliers for erasing a bump on an appliance, comprising:
a first elongated member having a first jaw portion at one end and a handle portion at the other end, the jaw portion having flat surface mounted at a distal end of the first jaw portion; and
a second elongated member joined to the first elongated member, the second elongated member having a second jaw portion at one end and a second handle portion at the other end, the second jaw portion having a second flat surface mounted at a distal end of the second jaw portion, the first and second flat surfaces adapted to engage and flatten the bump.
13. The pliers of claim 11, wherein the bump is formed at room temperature
14. The pliers of claim 11, wherein the second handle is pivotally joined to the first handle.
15. The pliers of claim 11, wherein the appliances comprises a polymeric material.
16. The pliers of claim 14, wherein the polymeric material further comprises homopolymer, heteropolymer, polymer blends, coextruded polymer with each layer being a different material or the same material, and thermalset.
17. Dental pliers for erasing a bump formed on a dental appliance, comprising:
a first handle having a first tip with a flat surface positioned thereon; and
a second handle pivotally joined to the first handle, the second handle having a tip with a flat surface adapted to engage the first flat surface to flatten a projection at room temperature.
18. The pliers of claim 16, wherein the dental appliance comprises a polymeric material selected from one of the following: hard block polyurethane polymer, polyester polycarbonate blends and polycarbonate, and polyester homopolymer.
19. The pliers of claim 16, wherein the dental appliance comprises a polymeric material selected from one of the following: homopolymer, heteropolymer, polymer blends, coextruded polymer, and thermalset.

1. A cable retainer for attaching a connector to a fiber optic cable comprising:
a one piece anchor, wherein the anchor comprises a connector portion, a cable portion, and a grooved channel having an open end and a closed end opposite from the open end extending along the length of the one piece anchor disposed on a surface of the anchor, wherein the cable portion comprises at least one strengthening member channel extending along a length of the one piece anchor positioned away from the grooved channel which secures at least one strengthening member of the fiber optic cable, wherein the cable portion further comprises at least one contain ridge on an outer surface of the anchor, said contain ridge secures aramid yarns.
2. The cable retainer of claim 1, wherein the grooved channel secures only a buffered tube of the fiber optic cable comprising optical fibers.
3. The cable retainer of claim 1, wherein the anchor comprises a front end and a rear end opposite to the front end along the length of the one piece anchor, the front end connecting to the connector,
wherein the cable portion further comprises an angled portion disposed at the rear end of the anchor which separates the at least one strengthening member from buffered tube of the fiber optic cable.
4. The cable retainer of claim 3 further comprising a crimp band that fits over the at least one contain ridge of the cable portion which secures the aramid yarns with the at least one contain ridge.
5. The cable retainer of claim 3, wherein the angled portion is disposed between the grooved channel and the strengthening member channel along the surface of the anchor.
