1. A head restraint guide for defining a channel between a top of a seat back and through an aperture of a seat back frame to allow a support post of a head restraint to slide therethrough, said head restraint guide comprising:
a center tube extending between first and second ends, said center tube defining an outer surface and a bore extending axially therethrough;
a support wall extending perpendicularly from said outer surface of said center tube for abutting the seat frame and preventing said center tube from moving therepast;
a support extending between said first end and an intermediate point along said center tube between said first and second ends corresponding to a portion of said center tube extending out from the seat back frame to the top of the seat back, said support including a plurality of structural ribs extending between and fixedly secured to said first end of said center tube and said support wall and defining a lattice including a first set of ribs and a second set of ribs extending perpendicular, to said first set of ribs wherein said lattice surrounds and encases said center tube between said first end and said support wall to provide rigidity and structural support to said head restraint guide.
2. A head restraint guide as set forth in claim 1 including a locating rib extending longitudinally between said support wall and said second end of said center tube defining an orientation of said head restraint guide during insertion into the aperture in the seat back frame.
3. A head restraint guide as set forth in claim 2 including a pair of legs formed in said second end of said center tube, said legs having a ramped surface engagable with a peripheral edge of the aperture for inwardly displacing said legs during insertion of said head restraint guide within the aperture.
4. A head restraint guide as set forth in claim 3 wherein each of said legs includes a locating end spaced from said support wall for locating the seat back frame between said locating end and said support wall after insertion of said head restraint guide into the aperture.
5. A head restraint guide as set forth in claim 4 including a protrusion projecting from said locating rib for preventing lateral movement and rattle between said head restraint guide and the seat back frame.

We claim:

1. A server computer comprising:
a communications interface to a communications network for establishing a first communications link between the server and a host client computer and a second communications link between the server and a slave client computer; and
a shared view engine for receiving via the first communications link from the host client computer, an identifier that identifies the slave client computer and a locator corresponding to content on the server, and for causing the server to deliver via the communications interface to the host client computer and to the slave client computer the content corresponding to the locator.
2. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the server is a Web server, the content is a Web page, and the locator is a Universal Resource Locator (URL) corresponding to the Web page.
3. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications interface enables the server computer to establish the first communications link and the second communications link to any of a plurality of client computers on the communications network.
4. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the shared view engine is further for receiving from the host client computer cookie data associated with the content.
5. The server computer of claim 4, wherein the shared view engine determines from the received cookie data whether to download the content to the host client computer and to the slave client computer.
6. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications interface is further for establishing a respective communications link to each of a plurality of slave client computers, and wherein the shared view engine is further for causing the server to deliver via the respective communications interfaces to the plurality of slave client computers the content corresponding to the locator such that the host client computer and the plurality of slave client computers are enabled to share browsing of the content received from the server.
7. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications interface is for establishing the second communications link based on the identifier.
8. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the shared view engine receives the locator from a browser residing on the host client computer.
9. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications network is the Internet.
10. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications network is an intranet.
11. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications network is a wide area network.
12. The server computer of claim 1, wherein the communications network is a local area network.
13. A server computer comprising:
a communications interface to a communications network for establishing a first communications link between the server and a first client computer and a second communications link between the server and a second client computer; and
a shared view engine for causing the server to deliver content via the communications interface to the first client computer and to the second client computer, whereby the first client computer and the second client computer are enabled to share browsing of the content received from the server,
wherein the shared view engine is for receiving via the first communications link from the first client computer, an identifier that identifies the second client computer and a locator corresponding to content on the server, and for causing the server to deliver via the communications interface to the first client computer and to the second client computer the content corresponding to the locator.
14. The server of claim 13, wherein the shared view engine is further for receiving from each of the first client computer and the second client computer a locator corresponding to content on the server, and for causing the server to deliver to the first client computer and to the second client computer the content corresponding to the locator.
15. A client computer comprising:
a communications interface to a communications network for establishing a communications link between the client computer and a server on the communications network; and
a shared view engine for receiving content delivered via the communications interface from the server for display on the client computer, whereby the client computer and a remote client computer are able to share browsing of the content received from the server,
wherein the shared view engine is for providing via the communications link to the server an identifier that identifies the remote client computer and a locator corresponding to content on the server, and for causing the server to deliver via the communications interface to the first client computer and to the second client computer the content corresponding to the locator.
16. The client computer of claim 15, wherein the shared view engine is further for establishing a communications link between the client computer and the remote client computer, and for providing to the remote client computer with a locator corresponding to information to be provided by the server for display on the client computer and the remote client computer.
17. A method for operating a server computer comprising:
establishing a first communications link between the server computer and a host client computer;
receiving from the host client computer a locator corresponding to content on the server and an identifier corresponding to a slave client computer;
establishing a second communications link between the server computer and the slave client computer;
delivering from the server computer to the host client computer and to the slave client computer the content corresponding to the locator such that the host client computer and the slave client computer are enabled to share browsing of the content received from the server.
18. The method of claim 17, further comprising:
receiving from the host client computer cookie data corresponding to the content; and
determining from the received cookie data whether to deliver the content to the host client computer and to the slave client computer.
19. The method of claim 17, further comprising:
establishing a respective communications link between the server computer and each of a plurality of slave client computers; and
delivering from the server computer to each of the slave client computers the content corresponding to the locator.
20. A computer readable storage medium comprising computer executable instructions for performing a method comprising:
establishing a first communications link between the server computer and a host client computer;
receiving from the host client computer a locator corresponding to content on the server and an identifier corresponding to a slave client computer;
establishing a second communications link between the server computer and the slave client computer;
delivering from the server computer to the host client computer and to the slave client computer the content corresponding to the locator such that the host client computer and the slave client computer are enabled to share browsing of the content received from the server.

21. A computer implemented system for authorizing transponder-enabled transactions, comprising:
a transaction server comprising a memory that stores an account table, wherein the account table comprises financial account information relating to a financial account;
a point of sale device, wherein the point of sale device is associated with a merchant;
a communications link between the transaction server and the point of sale device;
a transponder identification information receiver coupled to the point of sale device;
a transponder that emits transponder identification information, linked to the financial account information, that is capable of being received by the transponder information identification receiver, wherein the transponder identification information is emitted from the transponder upon presentation of the transponder with a transaction presented at the point of sale device;
wherein further the received transponder identification information is communicated to the point of sale device, and subsequently transmitted to the transaction server along with a payment amount for the transaction, the transmission occurring via the communications link, the transaction server providing a validation for the transaction, allowing the transaction to be completed, based upon the validation;
wherein the transaction server and the account table are associated with at least one of an issuing bank and a transaction network; and
a registration server coupled with at least the account table and at least one client workstation,
wherein the registration server receives the financial account information and the transponder identification information from the client workstation and links the financial account information and the transponder identification information in a database.
22. The system of claim 21, wherein the transaction server comprises;
a payment authorization unit, wherein the payment authorization unit performs the validation of the transaction based at least in part upon the financial account information in the account table and wherein further, the payment authorization unit transmits a message of non-authorization for the transaction to the point of sale device upon failure of the validation of the transaction.
23. The system of claim 21, wherein the transaction server transmits an authorization for the transaction to the point of sale device upon validation of the transaction, the validation being performed using information in the account table;
24. The system of claim 21, wherein further the registration server is coupled to the transponder identification information receiver and updates one or more subscriber registration tables contained within the transponder identification information receiver to allow the transponder to be recognized upon receipt of the transponder identification information.
25. The system of claim 21, further comprising a merchant account to which the authorized payment is made, wherein the merchant account is associated with the merchant and the issuing bank.
26. The system of claim 21, wherein the transponder identification information is received by the transponder identification information receiver from the transponder via a wireless interface.
27. The system of claim 21, wherein the communications link comprises a plurality of communications links between the transaction server and multiple point of sale devices.
28. The system of claim 21, wherein the financial account comprises at least one of:
a credit card account, a debit card account, a cash account, a special premises account for use by employees of an entity, a special purpose vending account, and a telephone card account.
29. The system of claim 21, wherein the transponder is embedded in a personal article.
30. The system of claim 29, wherein the personal article comprises one of a key chain, watch, clothing, key, or transaction card.
31. The system of claim 29, wherein the personal article comprises a wireless communication device.
32. The system of claim 21, wherein the transaction identification information receiver transmits an acknowledgement signal to the transponder upon receiving the transponder identification information.
33. The system of claim 21, wherein the transaction server is co-located with the point of sale device.

35. The system of claim 34, wherein the personal article comprises one of a key chain, watch, clothing, key, or transaction card.

37. A computer implemented system for authorizing transponder-enabled transactions, comprising:
a transponder, comprising an account table which contains financial account information, the financial account information being representative of a financial account;
a point of sale device, wherein the point of sale device is associated with a merchant;
a transponder identification information receiver coupled to the point of sale device, that receives information emitted from the transponder, wherein the information emitted from the transponder comprises at least transponder identification information and the information is emitted from the transponder upon presentation of the transponder with a transaction presented at the point of sale device;
wherein further, the point of sale device generates a total amount due for the transaction, and through the transponder identification information receiver, interrogates the financial account information in the account table, and updates the account table to reflect the transaction upon completion of the transaction;
a registration server coupled with at least the account table and at least one client workstation, the registration server being further coupled to the transponder identification information receiver,
wherein the registration server receives the financial account information and the transponder identification information from the client workstation and links the financial account information and the transponder identification information in a database coupled to the registration server.
38. The system of claim 37, wherein the transponder identification information is received by the transponder identification information receiver from the transponder via a wireless interface.
39. The system of claim 37, wherein the financial account comprises at least one of:
a credit card account, a debit card account, a cash account, a special premises account for use by employees of an entity, a special purpose vending account, and a telephone card account.
40. The system of claim 37, wherein the transponder is embedded in a personal article.
41. The system of claim 40, wherein the personal article comprises one of a key chain, watch, clothing, key, or transaction card.

a data center to store said document, said data center being coupled to a network;
a printer coupled to said network; and
a portable adaptor coupled between said network and said printer, said portable adaptor including a communication device to communicate with a mobile device,
wherein said mobile device communicates with said adaptor and causes said adaptor to retrieve said document from said data center via said network, and said adaptor provides said document to said printer for printing.
2. The system according to claim 1, wherein said printer is a network based printing protcol enabled device.
3. The system according to claim 1, wherein said document is selected from a plurality of documents stored in said data center.
4. The system according to claim 1, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said data center.
5. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device communicates with said adaptor via a hard-wired communication.
6. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device communicates with said adaptor via a wireless communication.
7. The system according to claim 6, wherein said wireless communication is an infrared communication.
8. The system according to claim 6, wherein said wireless communication is a radio frequency communication.
9. The system according to claim 6, wherein said wireless communication is automatically established.
10. The system according to claim 6, wherein said wireless communication includes inductive coupling.
11. The system according to claim 1, wherein said document is encrypted before being retrieved by said adaptor, and said adaptor decrypts said encrypted document before providing said document to said printer.
12. The system according to claim 11, wherein said adaptor decrypts said encrypted document with a key provided by said mobile device.
13. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device is a personal data assistant.
14. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device is a pager.
15. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device is a laptop computer.
16. The system according to claim 1, wherein said mobile device is a cell phone.
17. The system according to claim 1, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said printer for printing.

19. The system according to claim 1, further comprising:
a personal computer coupled between said adaptor and said network,
wherein said adaptor retrieves said document utilizing said personal computer to couple to said network.
20. A portable adaptor for coupling between a network and a printer for remotely retrieving a document from a data center and sending said retrieved document to said printer for printing, said adaptor comprising:
a first port to couple said adaptor to said network;
a second port to couple said adaptor to said printer;
a first switch circuit having a first, second and third inputoutput, said first inputoutput being coupled to said first port, said second inputoutput being coupled to said second port;
a processor coupled to said third inputoutput of said first switch circuit, said processor controlling said first switch circuit to connect between said first and second inputoutputs or between said first and third inputoutputs; and
a coupling device for communicating with a mobile device
wherein when a communication is established with said mobile device, said first switch circuit connects said first and third inputoutputs thereby coupling said processor with said data center via said network, said document is selected from said data center via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor, after said document is selected said first switch circuit connects said first and second inputoutputs thereby coupling said data center to said printer, and said data center sends said selected document to said printer through said first switch circuit.
21. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said network is the Internet.
22. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said coupling device is a connector.
23. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said coupling device is an infrared detectoremitter.
24. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said coupling device is a radio frequency receivertransmitter.
25. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said coupling device is an inductive coupling receivertransmitter.
26. The adaptor according to claim 20, further comprising:
a second switch circuit having a first and second inputoutput, said first inputoutput being coupled to said processor, said second inputoutput being coupled to said second port,
wherein said data center sends said selected document to said printer through said first switch circuit, said processor and said second switch circuit.
27. The adaptor according to claim 26, wherein said document is encrypted by said data center before being sent to said adaptor and wherein said encrypted document is decrypted by said processor before being sent to said printer.
28. The adaptor according to claim 27, further comprising:
a memory device coupled to said processor, said memory device storing a key used by said processor to decrypt said document.
29. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said data center.
30. The adaptor according to claim 20, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said printer.
31. A portable adaptor for coupling between a network and a printer for remotely retrieving a document from a data center and sending said retrieved document to said printer for printing, said adaptor comprising:
a first port to couple said adaptor to said network;
a second port to couple said adaptor to said printer;
a hub having a first, second and third inputoutput, said first inputoutput being coupled to said first port, said second inputoutput being coupled to said second port;
a processor coupled to said third inputoutput of said hub; and
a coupling device for communicating with a mobile device, said coupling device being coupled to said processor,
wherein when a communication is established with said mobile device, said hub routes communications from said processor to said data center via said network, said document is selected from said data center via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor, said selected document is sent from said data center to said adaptor, and said hub routes said selected document to said printer.
32. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said network is the Internet.
33. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said coupling device is a connector.
34. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said coupling device is an infrared detectoremitter.
35. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said coupling device is a radio frequency receivertransmitter.
36. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said coupling device is an inductive coupling receivertransmitter.

The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said document is encrypted by said data center before being sent to said adaptor, said hub routes said encrypted document to said processor, and said processor decrypts said encrypted document and sends said decrypted document to said printer via said hub.
38. The adaptor according to claim 37, further comprising:
a memory device coupled to said processor, said memory device storing a key used by said processor to decrypt said document.
39. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said data center via said hub.
40. The adaptor according to claim 31, wherein said adaptor is further configured to receive a document from said mobile device via said communication between said mobile device and said adaptor and send said received document to said printer via said hub.
41. A method for remotely retrieving and printing a selected document stored in a data center, said data center being coupled to a network, said method comprising the steps of:
coupling a portable adaptor to said network between said data center and a printer, said portable adaptor including a communication device to communicate with a mobile device;
establishing a communication between a mobile device and said data center via said adaptor and said network;
selecting a document stored in said data center using said mobile device;
sending said selected document to said printer via said network and said adaptor; and
printing said selected document at said printer.
42. The method according to claim 41, wherein said step of selecting a document further comprises:
selecting a document from a plurality of documents stored in said data center.
43. The method according to claim 41, wherein before said step of sending said selected document, said method further comprises:
encrypting said selected document.
44. The method according to claim 43, wherein said step of sending said selected document further comprises:
sending said encrypted selected document to said adaptor;
decrypting said encrypted selected document at said adaptor; and
sending said decrypted selected document to said printer.
45. The method according to claim 44, wherein said step of decrypting further comprises:
obtaining a key from said mobile device; and
using said key to decrypt said encrypted selected document.
46. The method according to claim 41, wherein said step of establishing a communication further comprises:
establishing a hard-wired communication between said adaptor and said mobile device.
47. The method according to claim 41, wherein said step of establishing a communication further comprises:
establishing a wireless communication between said adaptor and said mobile device.
48. The method according to claim 47, wherein said wireless communication is an infrared communication.
49. The method according to claim 47, wherein said wireless communication is a radio frequency communication.
50. The method according to claim 47, wherein said wireless communication is established automatically.
51. The method according to claim 47, wherein said wireless communication includes inductive coupling.
52. The method according to claim 41, wherein said step of selecting a document further comprises:
retrieving a header for each of a plurality of documents stored in said data center; and
selecting said document from said plurality of documents.
53. The method according to claim 41, wherein said mobile device is a personal data assistant.

55. The method according to claim 41, wherein said mobile device is a laptop computer.
