1. A hologram recording device for irradiating a recording beam to a hologram recording medium, and irradiating a reference beam to an illuminated region of the recording beam by variably controlling an incident angle of the reference beam on the hologram recording medium, whereby a hologram is recorded on the illuminated region in multiple through interference between the recording beam and the reference beam, the device comprising:
at least one variable reflector directing the reference beam to the illuminated region by reflection and being swung around a predetermined axis for changing the incident angle of the reference beam; and
a light shield being swung integrally with the variable reflector for partially shielding the reference beam so that a luminous flux diameter of the reference beam becomes narrower as the incident angle becomes larger.
2. The hologram recording device according to claim 1, wherein the reference beam is made incident on the variable reflector in a fixed direction and with a fixed luminous flux diameter, and is irradiated to the illuminated region through the light shield after being reflected by the variable reflector.
3. The hologram recording device according to claim 1, further comprising a fixed reflector for reflecting the reference beam from the variable reflector at a fixed reflecting surface, wherein the reference beam is made incident on the variable reflector in a fixed direction and with a fixed luminous flux diameter, and is irradiated to the illuminated region through the light shield after being reflected by the variable reflector and being again reflected by the fixed reflector.
4. The hologram recording device according to claim 1, wherein the variable reflector includes a first and a second variable reflector, the device further comprising a fixed reflector reflecting the reference beam at a reflecting surface fixed between the first and the second variable reflector, wherein the reference beam is made incident on the first variable reflector in a fixed direction and with a fixed luminous flux diameter, is led to the fixed reflector through the light shield right before and right after being reflected by the first variable reflector, and is irradiated to the illuminated region after being reflected by the fixed reflector and then by the second variable reflector.
5. A hologram recording method comprising the steps of: irradiating a recording beam to a hologram recording medium; and irradiating a reference beam to an illuminated region with the recording beam while variably controlling an incident angle of the reference beam on the hologram recording medium, whereby holograms is recorded on the illuminated region in multiple through interference between the recording beam and the reference beam;
wherein the step of irradiating the reference beam to the illuminated region while variably controlling an incident angle of the reference beam includes partially shielding the reference beam so that the luminance flux diameter of the reference beam becomes smaller as the incident angle of the reference beam becomes larger.

1. A curable composition having a first part and a second part, the curable composition comprising:
a) an epoxy resin, wherein the epoxy resin is in the first part of the curable composition;
b) a curing agent having at least two groups of formula \u2014NR1H where R1 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, or alkylaryl, wherein the curing agent is in the second part of the curable composition;
c) a toughening agent, wherein the toughening agent is in the first part, in the second part, or in both the first part and the second part of the curable composition and wherein the toughening agent is a core-shell polymer, a butadiene-nitrile rubber, acrylic polymer or copolymer, an adduct of an amino-terminated material and an epoxy resin, or an adduct of a carboxy-terminated material and an epoxy resin; and
d) a reactive liquid modifier that is in the first part of the curable composition, the reactive liquid modifier comprising an acetoacetate ester of a polyol that is a vegetable oil, that is prepared from a vegetable oil, or that is a mixture thereof, wherein the polyol comprises a triglyceride having at least two hydroxyl groups and wherein the acetoacetate ester has at least two acetoacetoxy groups.
2. The curable composition of claim 1, wherein the polyol is of Formula (VIII)
wherein
each R9 is an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and that is saturated or unsaturated;
at least two of the R9 groups have at least one hydroxyl group, and
each R9 group is optionally substituted with at least one alkoxy group.
3. The curable composition of claim 1, wherein the curable composition comprises 20 to 90 weight percent epoxy resin, 3 to 30 weight percent curing agent, 3 to 20 weight percent reactive liquid modifier, and 5 to 55 weight percent toughening agent based on a total weight of the curable composition.
4. The curable composition of claim 1, wherein the curable composition is free or substantially free of an oil displacing compound, of an oil adsorbing filler, or both.
5. The curable composition of claim 1, wherein the curable composition further comprises 0.1 to 25 weight percent oil displacing agent based on a total weight of the curable composition.
6. The curable composition of claim 1, wherein the curable composition further comprises 0.1 to 8 weight percent of an oil adsorbing filler.
7. A cured composition comprising a reaction product of a curable composition comprising:
a) an epoxy resin;
b) a curing agent having at least two groups of formula \u2014NR1H where R1 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, or alkylaryl;
c) a toughening agent that is a core-shell polymer, a butadiene-nitrile rubber, acrylic polymer or copolymer, an adduct of an amino-terminated material and an epoxy resin, or an adduct of a carboxy-terminated material and an epoxy resin; and
d) a reactive liquid modifier that is in the first part of the curable composition, the reactive liquid modifier comprising an acetoacetate ester of a polyol that is a vegetable oil, that is prepared from a vegetable oil, or that is a mixture thereof, wherein the polyol comprises a triglyceride having at least two hydroxyl groups and wherein the acetoacetate ester has at least two acetoacetoxy groups.
8. The cured composition of claim 7, wherein the polyol is of Formula (VIII)
wherein
each R9 is an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and that is saturated or unsaturated;
at least two of the R9 groups have at least one hydroxyl group, and
each R9 group is optionally substituted with at least one alkoxy group.
9. The cured composition of claim 7, wherein the cured composition is an adhesive.
10. The cured composition of claim 7, wherein the cured composition is a polymeric coating.
11. The cured composition of claim 7, wherein the curable composition is free or substantially free of an oil displacing compound, of an oil adsorbing filler, or both.
12. An article comprising a first substrate and a cured composition positioned adjacent to the first substrate, the cured composition comprising a reaction product of a curable composition comprising:
a) an epoxy resin;
b) a curing agent having at least two groups of formula \u2014NR1H where R1 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, or alkylaryl;
c) a toughening agent that is a core-shell polymer, a butadiene-nitrile rubber, acrylic polymer or copolymer, an adduct of an amino-terminated material and an epoxy resin, or an adduct of a carboxy-terminated material and an epoxy resin; and
d) a reactive liquid modifier that is in the first part of the curable composition, the reactive liquid modifier comprising an acetoacetate ester of a polyol that is a vegetable oil, that is prepared from a vegetable oil, or that is a mixture thereof, wherein the polyol comprises a triglyceride having at least two hydroxyl groups and wherein the acetoacetate ester has at least two acetoacetoxy groups.
13. The article of claim 12, wherein the polyol is of Formula (VIII)
wherein
each R9 is an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and that is saturated or unsaturated;
at least two of the R9 groups have at least one hydroxyl group, and
each R9 group is optionally substituted with at least one alkoxy group.

1. In a railway scheduling system in which each resource used in each scheduled activity has an incremental cost associated with it, and in which train location reports are automatically provided to the scheduler as an aid in the updating the schedule, a method of selectively disabling train location reports comprising:
(a) assigning a local movement activity to a selected train at a selected location;
(b) automatically disabling the generation of train location reports by the selected train as a function of the distance of the train from the selected location.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the local movement activity is one of a pickup, setout, engine work, power change, crew change or mishap recovery.
3. The method of claim 1 further comprising automatically resuming the generation of train location reports for the selected train as a function of elapsed time.
4. The method of claim 1 further comprising automatically resuming the generation of train location reports for the selected train as a function of the distance of the selected train from the selected location.
5. A method of preventing the impact of automatically generated train location reports on the movement plan for the system comprising the selective disabling of the movement planner for information related to the location of specifically identified trains.
6. In a railroad system in which plural trains are moved along a network of railway tracks under control of a dispatcher assisted by a scheduling computer prepared movement plan that assigns resources to activities and considers the cost of each activity and assigned resources in scheduling the movement of trains over the tracks,
and in which information as to the location of trains is automatically provided to the movement planner for use in modifying the movement plan for the system,
the improvement comprising the step of disabling the use of train location information for trains that have been assigned activities that require local movement.

What is claimed is:

1. A tape-sheathing device for an electric wire, in which a sheath tape is adhered to an electric wire by wrapping the electric wire in a width direction of the tape so that a longitudinal tape direction is aligned along an axial direction of the electric wire, said tape-sheathing device comprising:
a plurality of dies, each die having a tapered hole in the downstream side in a feeding direction, provided in series in the feeding direction, wherein the electric wire and the tape are jointly fed together by a feeding device through said plurality of dies;
said tapered hole of each die, other than the final die in the feeding direction, is provided with an opening formed by notching an outer peripheral portion thereof, and each die having said opening is arranged in a position with said opening shifted out of alignment relative to the respective opening of an upstream die;
whereby the tape is adhered while being wrapped around a portion of the electric wire whenever the electric wire and the tape pass through the respective dies.
2. The tape-sheathing device for an electric wire according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of dies comprises three dies including a first die, a second die, and a third die, said first die and said second die having said openings in the tapered holes formed by notching a portion of about 90 centering on said tapered hole in cross-section orthogonal to the axial direction at the outer peripheral portion of the downstream side in a feeding direction, and said first die and said second die are arranged so that the respective openings are shifted relative to each other by about 90.
3. A tape-sheathing device for an electric wire, said device comprising:
a plurality of dies, each die including a tapered hole that tapers from a large diameter at an upstream end to a smaller diameter at a downstream end, said plurality of dies being arranged in series along an axial line in a feeding direction;
each die, except the most downstream die in the feeding direction, having a notch in a peripheral portion thereof that communicates with said tapered hole, and wherein the notch of each die is arranged out of alignment, in a radial direction of the axial line, from the notch of each other die;
whereby tape passing through each die is caused to be successively wrapped about only a portion of the electric wire as the tape and the electric wire pass through the series of dies, and the tape is completely wrapped by said most downstream die.
4. The tape-sheathing device according to claim 3, wherein each said notch extends around about one quarter of the periphery of each said die.
5. The tape-sheathing device according to claim 3, wherein said plurality of dies comprise first, second, and third dies, said notches being provided in only said first and second dies.
6. The tape-sheathing device according to claim 5, wherein each said notch extends around about one quarter of the periphery of each said die.
7. The tape-sheathing device according to claim 6, wherein said notches are aligned to be shifted about 90 with respect to each other about the axial line.
