1. A method of treating a condition associated with an abnormal calcitriol level in serum of a mammal, comprising:
administering a carbohydrate-boron complex to the mammal at a dosage and schedule that transiently increases endogenous blood calcitriol and that simultaneously maintains endogenous blood calcidiol concentration in the mammal; wherein the carbohydrate-boron complex is a fructoborate complex
wherein the condition is an inflammatory condition or overreaction of the immune system; and
wherein the dosage and schedule are effective to transiently increase the endogenous blood calcitriol in an amount of at least 20% over baseline.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the abnormal calcitriol level is an abnormally low level.
3. The method of claim 1 wherein the inflammatory condition is an inflammatory reaction.
4. The method of claim 1 wherein the overreaction of the immune system is an autoimmune disease or an allergic reaction.
5. The method of claim 1 wherein the fructoborate complex is a calcium fructoborate.
6. The method of claim 1 wherein the dosage is at least 250 mg per day.
7. The method of claim 1 wherein the dosage is at least 500 mg per day.
8. The method of claim 1 wherein the dosage is between 200 mg and 1,000 mg per day.
9. The method of claim 1 wherein the dosage and schedule are effective to transiently increase the endogenous blood calcitriol in an amount of at least 50% over baseline.
10. The method of claim 1 wherein the dosage and schedule are effective to concurrently increase endogenous testosterone in an amount of at least 15% over baseline.
11. The method of claim 10 wherein the dosage is between 100 and 600 mg and the schedule comprises administration over at least 14 days.
12. In a method of providing a carbohydrate-boron complex to a mammal, the improvement comprising:
administering the carbohydrate-boron complex to the mammal after the mammal is found to have an inflammatory condition or overreaction of the immune system;
wherein the step of administering comprises administration of the carbohydrate-boron complex at a dosage and schedule that transiently increases endogenous blood calcitriol and that simultaneously maintains endogenous blood calcidiol concentration in the mammal; wherein the carbohydrate-boron complex is a fructoborate complex and
wherein the dosage and schedule are effective to transiently increase the endogenous blood calcitriol in an amount of at least 20% over baseline.
13. The method of claim 12 wherein the dosage and schedule are effective to also concurrently increase endogenous testosterone in an amount of at least 15% over baseline.
14. The method of claim 13 wherein the dosage is between 100 and 600 mg and the schedule comprises administration over at least 14 days.
15. The method of claim 12 wherein the dosage is at least 500 mg per day.
16. The method of claim 12 wherein the inflammatory condition is an inflammatory reaction, or wherein the overreaction of the immune system is an autoimmune disease or an allergic reaction.
17. The method of claim 12 wherein the endogenous blood calcitriol is abnormally low.
18. The method of claim 12 wherein the carbohydrate-boron complex is a calcium fructoborate.

1. A disposable pull-on diaper, comprising:
a front waist region, a rear waist region, and a crotch region extending in a longitudinal direction of said diaper between said front and rear waist regions;
transversely opposite lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions being permanently joined together in joining zones so as to form a waist-hole and a pair of leg-holes;
a pair of tape fasteners attached to an outer surface of one of said front and rear waist regions; and
each of said tape fasteners being elongated in a transverse direction of said diaper and having:
opposite proximal and distal end portions, said proximal end portion being directly secured to said one of said front and rear waist regions while said distal end portion overlaying the respective lateral edge portion of said one of said front and rear waist regions and being directly releasably attached to said one of said front and rear waist regions in at least one of the joining zones so as to serve as a finger-grip, and
an intermediate portion formed between and connecting said proximal end portion and said distal end portion and adapted to be releasably anchored on the other of said front and rear waist regions;
wherein said joining zones comprise a plurality of depressions in which the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are compressed and permanently joined together,
wherein the distal end portion of each of said tape fasteners and the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are all compressed together in at least one of said depressions, and wherein, in said at least one depression, said distal end portion is also directly releasably welded to the respective lateral edge portion of said one of said front and rear waist regions.
2. A disposable pull-on diaper, comprising:
a front waist region, a rear waist region, and a crotch region extending in a longitudinal direction of said diaper between said front and rear waist regions;
transversely opposite lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions being permanently joined together in joining zones so as to form a waist-hole and a pair of leg-holes;
a pair of tape fasteners attached to an outer surface of one of said front and rear waist regions; and
each of said tape fasteners being elongated in a transverse direction of said diaper and having:
opposite proximal and distal end portions, said proximal end portion being directly secured to said one of said front and rear waist regions while said distal end portion overlaying the respective lateral edge portion of said one of said front and rear waist regions and being directly releasably attached to said one of said front and rear waist regions in at least one of the joining zones so as to serve as a finger-grip, and
an intermediate portion formed between and connecting said proximal end portion and said distal end portion and adapted to be releasably anchored on the other of said front and rear waist regions;
wherein said joining zones comprise a plurality of depressions in which the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are compressed together,
wherein the distal end portion of each of said tape fasteners and the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are all compressed together in at least one of said depressions, and wherein, in said at least one depression, the distal end portion is also directly, releasably and mechanically engaged with a material forming the respective lateral edge portion of said one of said front and rear waist regions.
3. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein, in each of said tape fasteners, the proximal end portion directly secured to the outer surface of said one of said front and rear waist regions is spaced inwardly in the transverse direction from the respective distal end portion, which is directly releasably attached to said one of said front and rear waist regions in said at least one depression.
4. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein, in each of said tape fasteners, the proximal end portion is directly secured by adhesive to the outer surface of said one of said front and rear waist regions and is spaced inwardly in the transverse direction from the respective distal end portion, which is directly releasably attached to said one of said front and rear waist regions in said at least one of the depressions.
5. The diaper according to claim 2, wherein
in each of said tape fasteners, the proximal end portion is directly secured by adhesive to the outer surface of said one of said front and rear waist regions and is spaced inwardly in the transverse direction from the respective distal end portion, which is directly releasably attached to said one of said front and rear waist regions in said at least one of the depressions, and
in said at least one of said depressions, thermoplastic synthetic fibers contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are inseparably mechanically entangled together and releasably joined to the distal end portion of the respective one of said tape fasteners.
6. The diaper according to claim 4, wherein, in said at least one of said depressions, thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions are inseparably welded together and are releasably welded to the distal end portion of the respective one of said tape fasteners.
7. The diaper according to claim 6, wherein the thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions have a softening point or a melting point lower than that of a thermoplastic synthetic resin contained in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener, thereby allowing the thermoplastic synthetic resins in the respective lateral edge portions in said at least one of said depressions to be inseparably welded together and releasably welded to the thermoplastic synthetic resin in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener.
8. The diaper according to claim 6, wherein
the thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions have a softening point or a melting point approximate to that of a thermoplastic synthetic material contained in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener; and
the thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions have a thickness less than that of the thermoplastic synthetic material contained in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener, thereby allowing the thermoplastic synthetic resins in the respective lateral edge portions in said at least one of said depressions to be inseparably welded together and releasably welded to the thermoplastic synthetic material in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener.
9. The diaper according to claim 8, wherein the thickness of said thermoplastic synthetic material contained in the distal end of each said tape fastener is at least three times greater than the thickness of said thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions.
10. The diaper according to claim 6, wherein said at least one of said depressions includes
melted and solidified said thermoplastic synthetic resins contained in the respective lateral edge portions of said front and rear waist regions; and
a thermoplastic synthetic resin contained in the distal end portion of the respective tape fastener and releasably heat-bonded to said melted and solidified thermoplastic synthetic resins in the respective lateral edge portions.
11. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein each said fastener is in a folded state and comprises
a first tape section, and
a second tape section which is sandwiched, in said folded state of the fastener, between the first tape section and the outer surface of said one of said front and rear waist regions;
wherein
the first tape section comprises
the respective distal end portion which is, in said folded state of the fastener, directly releasably welded to the respective lateral edge portion of said one of said front and rear waist regions in said at least one depression, and
a first inner end portion which is, in said folded state of the fastener,

inwardly spaced in the transverse direction from said distal end portion; the second tape section comprises
the respective proximal end portion directly secured to the outer surface of said one of said front and rear waist regions at a location that is, in said folded state of the fastener, inwardly spaced in the transverse direction from said distal end portion, and
a second inner end portion which is bonded to the first inner end portion and, in said folded state of the fastener, inwardly spaced in the transverse direction from said proximal end portion.
12. The diaper according to claim 11, wherein each said fastener further comprises a fastening element adapted to be releasably anchored on the other of said front and rear waist regions;
wherein said fastening element is disposed on a underside of said first tape section and is, in said folded state of the fastener, located between the first and second tape sections to releasably attach the first tape section to the underlying second tape section.

1. A variable color light emitting device, comprising:
first, second and third light sources differing in chromaticity of emission light; and
a driver for changing light outputs of the first, second and third light sources,
wherein the first light source has a chromaticity closer to a blackbody locus in a chromaticity coordinates than chromaticities of the second and third light sources, the chromaticities of the second and third light sources interposing the blackbody locus therebetween, and
wherein the chromaticities of the second and third light sources are selected such that, on straight lines passing through reference chromaticities of the second and third light sources and a chromaticity of an arbitrary color temperature on the blackbody locus, a ratio of a distance between the chromaticity of the second light source and the chromaticity on the blackbody locus to a distance between the chromaticity of the third light source and the chromaticity on the blackbody locus becomes equal to a ratio of a distance between the reference chromaticity of the second light source and the chromaticity on the blackbody locus to a distance between the reference chromaticity of third light source and the chromaticity on the blackbody locus.
2. The device of claim 1, wherein the first light source is configured to emit white light, the second light source is configured to emit red light, and the third light source is configured to emit green light.
3. The device of claim 2, wherein the second light source includes a solid-state light emitting element for emitting white light and a red cover member covering the solid-state light emitting element and containing a red fluorescent material for converting the white light to red light, and
wherein the third light source includes a solid-state light emitting element for emitting white light and a green cover member covering the solid-state light emitting element and containing a green fluorescent material for converting the white light to green light.
4. The device of claim 1, wherein the first light source is configured to emit blue light, the second light source is configured to emit red light, and the third light source is configured to emit green light.
5. The device of claim 4, wherein the second light source includes a solid-state light emitting element for emitting blue light and a red cover member covering the solid-state light emitting element and containing a red fluorescent material for converting the blue light to red light, and
wherein the third light source includes a solid-state light emitting element for emitting blue light and a green cover member covering the solid-state light emitting element and containing a green fluorescent material for converting the blue light to green light.
6. The device of claim 4, wherein the first light source is a solid-state light emitting element for emitting blue light, the second light source being a solid-state light emitting element for emitting red light, and the third light source being a solid-state light emitting element for emitting green light.
7. An illumination apparatus comprising the variable color light emitting device of claim 1.

What is claimed is:

1. A method for controlling at least a first and second function performed by a wafer processing chamber, wherein a first processor controls the first function and a second processor controls the second function, the method comprising the steps of:
(1) obtaining an instruction, from a recipe containing one or more instructions used for controlling the wafer processing chamber, wherein at least one of said one or more instructions contains a function to be performed by the wafer processing chamber; and
(2) when the function of said step (1) is said first function, using the first processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said first function, and when the function of said step (1) is said second function, using the second processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said second function.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein said step (1) comprises the step that at least one of said one or more instructions contains both a function to be performed by the first processor and a function to be performed by the second processor.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein said step (2) comprises the step of using the first processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said first function at substantially the same time as using the second processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said second function.
4. The method of claim 3, further comprising the step of determining, based upon said instruction of said step (1), whether said first or said second processor is to perform an end step function, and continuing to implement said step (2) until said end step function is performed.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein each of said processors operates within a separate computer processor system and utilizes a separate operating system.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein said first function is temperature control.
7. The method of claim 6, further comprising the step of analyzing the temperature of at least two different portions of the wafer, and adjusting the temperature of each of said two different portions of the wafer, in accordance with said instruction of said step (1).
8. A wafer processing facility having a wafer processing chamber for processing semiconductor wafers, the wafer processing facility comprising:
at least a first and second computer processor system containing a first and second processor, respectively, wherein said first processor is assigned to control a first function of the wafer processing chamber and said second processor is assigned to control a second function of the wafer processing chamber;
a function determinator for receiving a command and determining whether said command is associated with the first function or associated with the second function,
wherein the first processor is used to implement said command when said command is associated with the first function, and the second processor is used to implement said command when said command is associated with the second function.
9. The wafer processing facility of claim 8, wherein said first function is pressure control, and said second function is temperature control.
10. The wafer processing facility of claim 9, further comprising a temperature controller, wherein said temperature controller receives input from at least two different portions of the wafer, and adjusts the temperature of each of said two different portions of the wafer using said second processor, in accordance with a command for controlling temperature.
11. The wafer processing facility of claim 8, further comprising a command accessor for initially accessing andor forwarding said command to said first andor second processor, wherein said command accessor commences accessing andor forwarding said command in response to an indication that said wafer processing chamber has been, or will be, loaded with a wafer.
12. The wafer processing facility of claim 9, wherein a command to implement a temperature control function and a command to implement a pressure control function can be executed at least substantially concurrently.
13. The wafer processing facility of claim 8, further comprising an end step determinator, wherein said end step determinator determines whether said first or said second processor is to perform an end step function.
14. A computer readable medium comprising a program for controlling at least a first and second function performed by a wafer processing chamber, wherein a first processor controls the first function and a second processor controls the second function, by performing the steps of:
(1) obtaining an instruction, from a recipe containing one or more instructions used for controlling the wafer processing chamber, wherein at least one of said one or more instructions contains a function to be performed by the wafer processing chamber; and
(2) when the function of said step (1) is said first function, using the first processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said first function, and when the function of said step (1) is said second function, using the second processor to induce the wafer processing chamber to perform said second function.
