1. A method of feeding rubber to at least one rubber-consumer device, the method being of the type in which a strip of rubber is moved continuously from a rubber-supplier device to a consumer device, wherein during the continuous movement and before reaching the consumer device, a portion, referred to as the residue, is taken continuously from the strip of rubber and stored in downstream storage means, wherein the supplier device includes upstream storage means for storing rubber from which the strip of rubber is moved toward the consumer device, with the upstream and downstream storage means being swapped after the strip of rubber in the upstream storage means has been used up.
2. The method according to claim 1, in which the residue is taken by continuously cutting off a residue strip from the strip of rubber.
3. The method according to claim 1, in which the residue strip presents a width lying in the range one-half to nine-tenths the width of the strip of rubber.
4. The method according to claim 1, in which the consumer device is an extruder.
5. An installation for feeding rubber to at least one rubber-consumer device, the installation being of the type comprising means for continuously moving a strip of rubber from a rubber-supplier device to a consumer device, wherein the installation includes taker means for continuously taking a portion, referred to as the residue, from the strip of rubber, said taker means being arranged upstream from the consumer device, upstream rubber storage means from which the strip of rubber is for being moved toward the consumer device, the supplier device further including downstream storage means for storing the residue, and swap means for swapping the upstream and downstream storage means.
6. The installation according to claim 5, in which the taker means comprise cutter means for continuously cutting off a strip that is taken from the strip of rubber.
7. The installation according to claim 6, including means for automatically positioning said cutter means transversely relative to the 3 longitudinal edges of the strip of rubber.
8. The installation according to claim 5, in which the consumer device is an extruder.
9. The installation according to claim 8, in which the extruder comprises an extruder worm screw of diameter less than 90 mm, the extruder being capable of providing, an extruded rubber delivery rate of less than 3 kgmin.
10. The installation according to claim 5, in which the swap means comprise a movable support movable in rotation about an axis, the upstream and downstream storage means being carried by the movable support.
11. The installation according to claim 5, including device for regulating the rate at which at least the consumer device is fed by regulating the width of the residue.

1. An airbag apparatus comprising:
an airbag inflatable with inflation gas from a folded and housed state, the airbag including an exhaust hole that is formed through a circumferential wall of the airbag in such a manner as to be opened at any time for emitting part of inflation gas;
an openclose controller for controlling opening and closing operations of the exhaust hole;
a flap element foldable together with the airbag, the flap element being releasably joined to the openclose controller and being joined to a periphery of the exhaust hole in an outer side of the airbag which periphery is in a side facing away from the openclose controller, upon airbag inflation if the flap element is retained by the openclose controller, the flap element holding down a circumference of the exhaust hole, and if the flap element is released from the openclose controller, the flap element opening by a pressure of inflation gas to open the exhaust hole; and
an inner flap acting as an openclose means and joined to the periphery of the exhaust hole on the outer side of the airbag in a foldable manner, the inner flap, upon airbag inflation, if the flap element is retained by the openclose controller, being held down at an outer side thereof by the flap element to keep the exhaust hole closed, and if the flap element is released from the openclose controller, opening around a first joint portion joining the inner flap to the airbag due to the pressure of inflation gas such that the exhaust hole opens to exhaust inflation gas, wherein:
the first joint portion of the inner flap is located opposite from a second joint portion that joins the flap element to the airbag with respect to the exhaust hole;
both of the first joint portion and the second joint portion are bent in shape such that opposite ends thereof are directed toward the other joint portion; and
the two joint portions enclose the exhaust hole thoroughly.
2. The airbag apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:
the flap element includes a flap body that is located on the outer side of the airbag for opening and closing the exhaust hole and a belt that is joined to the flap body by a first end and coupled to the openclose controller by a second end; and
a middle portion of the belt except the first and second ends connected to the flap body and openclose controller is disposed inside the airbag.
3. The airbag apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the belt is along the expanding direction of the airbag, upon airbag inflation when the flap element is retained by the open-close controller.
4. The airbag apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the flap body and the inner flap are jointed to the periphery of the exhaust hole by a single continuous stitching work in such an overlapping manner as to be slightly offset from each other.

1. A wood-fiberglass hybrid panel door featuring natural wood veneer permanently bonded to at least one side of a fiberglass door. The fiberglass door skin with wood veneer bonded to it is constructed of stilesrails and at least one panel. The stilesrails and panel can be either of one-piece compression molded construction or can be separately compression molded pieces joined together by mechanical or chemical methods. The wood-fiberglass hybrid door comprises two piece of fiberglass panel door skins with at least one of them bonded with natural wood veneer, internal wood blocks, internal wood stilesrails, insulation core, wood raised moldingwood flush sticking, and decorative glass.
2. A wood-fiberglass hybrid panel door of claim 1 in which comprises
(a) a one-piece construction fiberglass panel door skin with at least one panel
(b) a veneer fiberglass door skin with the stilerail portion and panel portion being of either one-piece compression molded construction or separately compression molded pieces joined together by mechanical or chemical methods.
3. A wood-fiberglass hybrid panel door of claim 1 in which a fiberglass panel door is produced in the same way as a known public knowledge. The panel and the stilesrails of the fiberglass door skin for bonding wood veneers can be either one-piece compression molded construction or can be separately compression molded pieces joined together by mechanical or chemical methods. Wood veneer is then bonded to at least one side of the said fiberglass door through the use of a vacuum press. Wood raised molding or flush sticking is applied around the veneered panel to cover the veneer edges on the panel andor stilesrails. Wood raised molding or flush sticking is fixed to the door by mechanical or chemical methods.
4. A wood-fiberglass hybrid panel door of claim 1 in which a veneered particle boardMDF panel is placed on the door panel location of the veneered side. The veneered particle boardMDF panel is then secured to its position by the applied wood moldingsticking.
5. A wood-fiberglass hybrid panel door of claim 1 in which the said panel can be raised or flat.

A ring binder having a plurality of ring-forming constituents each comprising a one-piece flexible strap having a clasp at one end and free of any hinge along its length, said strap extending from the clasp and having a free end portion, said strap being adapted to have its said free end portion laced through holes in loose-leaf items to be bound and formed into a ring by inserting said free end portion in the clasp for holding it in the clasp, the clasp comprising a resiliently acting arm engageable with the strap for holding the strap in the clasp, the clasp also comprising a buckle, the resiliently acting arm comprising a tongue of the buckle having a detent thereon engageable in a hole of a series of holes in the strap, the buckle comprising a plastic frame having rearward and forward ends, opposite sides, top and bottom, the strap extending from the forward end, the frame having an opening therein, and a lug extending down from the frame generally at an end of the opening, the resiliently acting arm extending from a position generally adjacent a lower end of the lug, the ring binder further comprising strap guides on the bottom of the frame including a rearward strap guide positioned rearward of the opening and a forward strap guide positioned forward of the opening.
2. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 wherein said free end portion of the strap is insertable to different positions in the clasp for forming rings of different sizes.
3. A ring binder as set forth in claim 2 wherein the clasp holds the strap against retrograde movement from the position of the free end portion in the clasp.
4. A ring binder as set forth in claim 3 wherein the clasp allows forward movement of the strap for decreasing the size of the ring.
5. A ring binder as set forth in claim 2 wherein the clasp holds the strap against both retrograde and forward movement from the position of the free end portion in the clasp.
6. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 wherein the resiliently acting arm comprises a pawl engageable with a ratchet tooth of a series of ratchet teeth on the strap.
7. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 wherein the arm has a depressor extending up therefrom through said opening for bending the arm down, the upper end of the depressor being above the top of the frame.
8. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 wherein the detent has a slanting surface engageable by the strap for camming the arm down.
9. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 wherein each strap guide comprises a generally U-shaped protuberance, the opening in the rearward protuberance constituting a rearward guide opening and the opening in the forward protuberance constituting a forward guide opening.
10. A ring binder as set forth in claim 1 in combination with a loose-leaf binder.

A ring binder comprising an elongate bar constituting a spine of the ring binder, said bar having an upper face and provided with holes for receiving fasteners for fastening it in a loose-leaf binder, a plurality of ring-forming constituents mounted on the bar spaced along its length each comprising a flexible strap having a clasp at one end, each clasp being seated in a recess in the upper face of the bar, each strap extending from the clasp away from one side of the bar and having a free end portion, the ring binder being adapted to have the flexible straps laced through holes in loose-leaf items to be bound and formed into a ring by inserting said free end portion in the clasp for holding it in the clasp, the clasp comprising a resiliently acting arm engageable with the strap for holding the strap in the clasp, the clasp also comprising a buckle, the resiliently acting arm comprising a tongue of the buckle having a detent thereon engageable in a hole of a series of holes in the strap, the buckle comprising a plastic frame having rearward and forward ends, opposite sides, top and bottom, the strap extending from the forward end, the frame having an opening therein, and a lug extending down from the frame generally at an end of the opening, the resiliently acting arm extending from a position generally adjacent a lower end of the lug, the ring binder further comprising strap guides on the bottom of the frame including a rearward strap guide positioned rearward of the opening and a forward strap guide positioned forward of the opening.
12. A ring binder as set forth in claim 11 wherein said free end portion of the strap is insertable to different positions in the clasp for forming rings of different sizes.
13. A ring binder as set forth in claim 12 wherein the clasp holds the strap against retrograde movement from the position of the free end portion in the clasp.

A ring binder comprising an elongate bar constituting a spine of the ring binder, said bar having an upper face and provided with holes for receiving fasteners for fastening it in a loose-leaf binder, a plurality of ring-forming constituents mounted on the bar spaced along its length each comprising a flexible strap having a clasp at one end, each clasp being seated in a recess in the upper face of the bar, each strap extending from the clasp away from one side of the bar and having a free end portion, the ring binder being adapted to have the flexible straps laced through holes in loose-leaf items to be bound and formed into a ring by inserting said free end portion in the clasp for holding it in the clasp, said free end portion of the strap being insertable to different positions in the clasp for forming rings of different sizes, the clasp holding the strap against retrograde movement from the position of the free end portion in the clasp and allowing forward movement of the strap for decreasing the size of the ring, wherein the clasp has a resiliently acting arm engageable with the strap for holding the strap in the clasp, the resiliently acting arm comprising a tongue having a detent thereon engageable in a hole of a series of holes in the strap, the detent having a slanting surface engageable by the strap for camming the arm down, and wherein the clasp comprises a plastic frame having rearward and forward ends, opposite sides, top and bottom, the strap extending from the forward end, the frame having an opening therein, a lug extending down from the frame at an end of the opening, the resiliently acting arm extending from a position generally adjacent a lower end of the lug, the arm having a depressor extending up therefrom through said opening for bending the arm down, the upper end of the depressor being above the top of the frame, and strap guides each comprising a generally U-shaped protuberance on the bottom of the frame including a rearward strap guide positioned rearward of the opening and a forward strap guide positioned forward of the opening.
23. A ring binder comprising an elongate spine having first and second sides and holes for receiving fasteners for fastening the spine in a loose-leaf binder, a plurality of ring-forming constituents carried by the spine at spaced intervals along its length each comprising a one-piece flexible strap having a clasp at one end and free of any hinge along its length, each clasp being situated generally within the spine with the respective strap extending from the clasp through an opening in the second side of the spine, the strap having a free end portion adapted to be laced through holes in loose-leaf items to be bound and formed into a ring by inserting said free end portion through a hole in the first side of the spine and thence through the clasp for being held in the clasp, said spine comprising an elongate channel having a web constituting a top of the spine and first and second flanges extending down from opposite side edges of the web constituting the first and second sides of the spine, the clasp having a resiliently acting arm engageable with the strap for holding the strap in the clasp, the resiliently acting arm comprising a pawl engageable with a ratchet tooth of a series of ratchet teeth on the strap.
24. A ring binder as set forth in claim 23 wherein the pawl has a lever extending up through an opening in the web for operation of the pawl.
25. A ring binder as set forth in claim 24 wherein the pawl extends forward in the opening in the web from lugs which extend transversely inward from opposite sides of the opening in the web.
26. A ring binder as set forth in claim 25 wherein the clasp has a passage for the strap extending lengthwise therethrough below the opening in the web.
27. A ring binder as set forth in claim 26 wherein the clasp, including the pawl and the strap are plastic.
28. A ring binder as set forth in claim 23 in combination with a loose-leaf binder.
