What is claimed is:

1. An apparatus for switching a GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) service class in a GPRS terminal, comprising:
a temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of at least one specific element in the GPRS terminal during a GPRS mode of operation;
a limit data register for storing a critical temperature of the at least one specific element for the GPRS service class; and
a controller for comparing the measured temperature from the temperature sensor with the critical temperature stored in the limit data register, and switching the GPRS service class from a first class to a second class when the measured temperature is greater than or equal to the critical temperature.
2. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the controller maintains the present GPRS service class when the measured temperature is less than the critical temperature.
3. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the controller switches the GPRS service class from the first class back to the second class when the measured temperature becomes less than the critical temperature during the second class GPRS service.
4. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an analog-to-digital (AD) converter for converting an analog value of the temperature measured by the temperature sensor to a digital value.
5. A method for switching a GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) service class according to generated heat in a GPRS terminal, comprising the steps of:
measuring a temperature of at least one specific element in the GPRS terminal during a GPRS mode of operation;
determining to switch the GPRS service class from a first class to a second class when the measured temperature is greater than or equal to a critical temperature;
sending a request for switching the GPRS service class to the second class to a base station through an uplink; and
upon receipt of a service class-down switch command from the base station through a downlink in response to the GPRS service class switch request, switching the GPRS service class to the second class.
6. The method as claimed in claim 5, further comprising the step of maintaining the present GPRS service class when the measured temperature is less than the critical temperature.
7. The method as claimed in claim 5, further comprising the steps of:
determining to switch the GPRS service class back to the first class when the measured temperature becomes less than the critical temperature during the second class GPRS service;
sending a request for switching the GPRS service class to the first class to the base station through the uplink; and
upon receipt of a service class-up switch command from the base station through a downlink in response to the GPRS service class switch request, switching the GPRS service class to the first class.

1. A method of manufacture of a ventilation chimney section comprising welding plastic sheets to form inner and outer cylindrical tubes placing said inner tube within said outer tube and sliding a sheet of insulation between said inner and outer tube.
2. Method of claim 1 where said sheet of insulation is cut into a plurality of segments, alignable parallel to the common axis of said tubes, before sliding said sheet between said inner and outer tubes.
3. Method of claim 2 where said sheet of insulation is cut into four quarter cylindrical segments, alignable parallel to the common axis of said tubes.
4. Method of claim 1 where said sheet fits snugly between said inner and outer tubes.
5. Method of claim 4 where said sheet of insulation is cut into a plurality of segments, alignable parallel to the common axis of said tubes, before sliding said sheet between said inner and outer tubes.
6. Method of claim 5 where said sheet of insulation is cut into four quarter cylindrical segments, alignable parallel to the common axis of said tubes.
7. Method of claim 1 where the collar of a male coupling element is inserted into one end of said section between said inner and outer tubes and secured therein, and the collar of a female coupling element is inserted into the other end of said section between said inner and outer tubes and secured therein, said male coupling element being adapted to matingly engage a female coupling identical to said female coupling element and vice versa.
8. Method of claim 7, where said collars are secured between said inner and outer tubes by fasteners.
9. Method of claim 8, wherein said fasteners are screws extending through said outer tube and into said collars.
10. Chimney ventilation section comprising coaxial inner and outer plastic tubes separated by a sheet of insulation in the space between said inner and outer tubes.
11. Section of claim 10 wherein said sheet of insulation fits snugly between said inner and outer tubes.
12. Section of claim 11 wherein said sheet of insulation has four quarter cylindrical segments aligned parallel to the common axis of said tubes.
13. Section of claim 10 where the collar of a male coupling element is inserted into one end of said section between said inner and outer tubes and secured therein, and the collar of a female coupling element is inserted into the other end of said section between said inner and outer tubes and secured therein, said male coupling element being adapted to matingly engage a female coupling identical to said female coupling element and vice versa.
14. Section of claim 13, where said collars are secured between said inner and outer tubes by fasteners.
15. Section of claim 14, wherein said fasteners are screws extending through said outer tube and into said collars.
16. Section of claim 14, wherein said male coupling element has a first circumferential wall abutting the collar of said male coupling element projecting outward, a first inner cylindrical sleeve at the inner edge of said first circumferential wall said first sleeve forming a plug to engage a socket of a female coupling element.
17. Section of claim 14 wherein said female coupling element has a second circumferential wall abutting said collar projecting outward, and a second outer cylindrical sleeve at the outer edge of said circumferential wail, said second sleeve and said second wall forming a socket to engage a plug of a male coupling element.

1. An article of footwear, comprising:
an outsole having a first surface for contacting the ground and second surface remote from the first surface, the first surface including at least one elongated, raised ridge member for removing water from the ground and providing enhanced traction; and
a housing including an integral one piece upper and midsole defining an enclosure for receiving a wearer’s foot, the upper having medial and lateral sides and having at least one projection affixed to the midsole on the medial side and at least one projection affixed to the midsole on the lateral side, the upper including a lace channel on the medial side and a lace channel on the lateral side, the midsole having a first surface adjacent the enclosure and a second surface remote from the enclosure and connected to the second surface of the outsole, the housing including a base lace channel positioned below the first midsole surface, the base lace channel coupled to the medial and lateral side lace channels.
2. The article of footwear of claim 1, wherein the at least one elongated, raised ridge member comprises a plurality of elongated, raised ridge members arranged in a substantially parallel direction from a medial side to a lateral side of the outsole.
3. The article of footwear of claim 1, wherein the at least one elongated, raised ridge member comprises a plurality of elongated, raised ridge members, a first one of the members being arranged transversely across the outsole, a second one of the members being arranged longitudinally along the outsole, and a third one of the members being arranged in a non-transverse and non-longitudinal direction along the outsole.
4. An article of footwear, comprising:
an outsole having a first surface f or contacting the ground and second surface remote from the first surface, the first surface including at least one elongated, raised ridge member for removing water from the ground and providing enhanced traction;
a housing including an integral one piece upper and midsole defining an enclosure for receiving a wearer’s foot, the upper having at least one medial side projection and at least one lateral side projection extending away from the midsole, the at least one medial and lateral side projections each including a channel therein, the midsole having a first surface remote from the enclosure and connected to the second surface of the outsole, the midsole including at least one channel therein, the at least one midsole channel connecting to the at least one medial channel and the at least one lateral side channel; and
a lace wound through the at least one midsole channel, the at least one medial side channel and the at least one lateral side channel from a first point of the housing to a second point of the housing to generally surround and encircle the wearer’s foot, a first end of the lace being secured to a first connection point on the housing and a second end of the lace being secured to a second connection point on the housing.
5. An article of footwear, comprising:
an outsole having a first surface for contacting the ground and second surface remote from the first surface, the first surface including at least one elongated, raised ridge member for removing water from the ground and providing enhanced traction;
a housing including an integral one piece upper and midsole defining an enclosure for receiving a wearer’s foot, the upper having a heel support, a toe cover and a plurality of medial side projections and a plurality of lateral side projections extending away from the midsole, at least some of the medial and lateral side projections including channels therein, the heel support including a channel therein, the midsole having a first surface adjacent the enclosure and a second surface remote from the enclosure and connected to the second surface of the outsole, and the midsole including a plurality of channels therein;
a lace wound generally in a spiral pattern through the heel support channel, the midsole channels, the medial side channels and the lateral side channels from a first point of the housing to a second point of the housing to generally surround and encircle the wearer’s foot, a first end of the lace being positioned at a first connection point on the housing and a second end of the lace being positioned at a second connection point on the housing;
a footbed disposed over the first surface of the midsole; and
an endcap disposed on the upper adjacent to one of the medial side or lateral side channels at the first connection point, the first end of the lace being secured at the first connection point by the endcap.

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:
identification information inputting means configured to input identification information;
authentication controlling means configured to, if authentication information corresponding to the identification information input by the identification information inputting means has been stored in storing means, perform control so that authentication is executed on the basis of the authentication information;
authentication information inputting means configured to, if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input by the identification information inputting means has not been stored in the storing means, input authentication information; and
storage controlling means configured to, if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input by the identification information inputting means has not been stored in the storing means, store in the storing means the authentication information input by the authentication information inputting means and the identification information input by the identification information inputting means so as to be associated with each other.
2. The information processing apparatus of claim 1,
wherein the authentication information includes at least one of a user name, a password, and a domain name indicating a server for performing authentication.
3. The information processing apparatus of claim 1,
wherein the identification information includes at least one of an ID of a card, biometric information based on a fingerprint, and biometric information based on an iris.
4. The information processing apparatus of claim 1, further comprising the storing means.
5. The information processing apparatus of claim 1,
wherein the storage controlling means stores authentication information in the storing means if the result of authentication based on the authentication information input by the authentication information inputting means is successful, and does not store the authentication information in the storing means if the result of the authentication based on the authentication information input by the authentication information inputting means is not successful.
6. An authentication method comprising the steps of:
inputting identification information;
if authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has been stored in storing means, performing control so that authentication based on the authentication information is executed;
if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has not been stored in the storing means, inputting authentication information; and
if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has not been stored in the storing means, storing the authentication information input in the authentication information inputting step and the identification information input in the identification information inputting step so as to be associated with each other.
7. A computer program for controlling a computer, the computer program causing the computer to execute the steps of:
inputting identification information;
if authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has been stored in a database, performing control so that authentication based on the authentication information is executed;
if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has not been stored in the database, inputting authentication information; and
if the authentication information corresponding to the identification information input in the identification information inputting step has not been stored in the database, storing the authentication information input in the authentication information inputting step and the identification information input in the identification information inputting step so as to be associated with each other.
8. The computer program of claim 7,
wherein the authentication information includes at least one of a user name, a password, and a domain name indicating a server for performing authentication.
9. The computer program of claim 7,
wherein the identification information includes at least one of an ID of a card, biometric information based on a fingerprint, and biometric information based on an iris.
10. The computer program of claim 7,
wherein, the storing step includes the step of, if the result of authentication based on the authentication information input in the authentication information inputting step is successful, storing the authentication information in the database, and if the result of the authentication based on the authentication information input in the authentication information inputting step is not successful, not storing the authentication information in the database.
