1. A method for removing material from a component, comprising the steps of:
connecting the component as an anode;
connecting a single electrode as a cathode;
guiding the single electrode to the component such that a gap is defined between the electrode and the component;
forming a duct defined by at least a part of a surface of the component and a part of a surface of the electrode and including an inlet opening and an outlet opening defined by at least the component and the single electrode, wherein the inlet opening is disposed at a first distal end of the duct and the outlet opening is disposed at a second distal end of the duct, wherein the duct is further defined by two guide elements that each extend along an entire longitudinal length of the duct, wherein the guide elements are mounted on the single electrode such that when the gap is defined the duct is also simultaneously defined, where the formed duct has a box shape with a lower wall which is the part of the surface of the component, an upper wall which is the part of the surface of the single electrode, and side walls orthogonal to the lower wall and the upper wall which are the two guide elements, wherein the two guide elements, as the side walls, contact the single electrode and the component such that an electrolyte is circulatable through the formed duct around the component only at the part of the surface of the component that is the lower wall of the duct; and
continuously guiding the electrolyte through the duct from the inlet opening to the outlet opening during a removal of the material from the component.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the electrolyte is introduced into the inlet opening at a pressure of 2 to 50 bar.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the electrolyte is introduced into the inlet opening via a nozzle.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the component is an engine component made of nickel-based or titanium-based alloys.
5. The method according to claim 4, wherein the component is a blade.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the two guide elements are non-conductive.

1. An aspirator for generating crinis for a baldhead, comprising:
a smooth helmet 10 that has a certain size enough for covering a portion having no hairs in a human head;
a tube 11 that is attached at an inner edge portion of the helmet for being inflated by air;
a sealing packing 13 of which a surface contacting with a human skin is made of a smooth material such as silicon wherein said sealing packing 13 is attached to the tube 11;
a jaw strip 14 and a fixing ring 15 for fixing the helmet 10 to the head;
an air injection pump 12 that is attached to a front side of the helmet 10 and is connected with a hose for filling air into the tube 11;
an air hose 40 of which one end is connected with an air switch 50 and a vacuum pump 60, and the other end is connected with a connection means 20 for thereby making the interior of the helmet 10 a vacuum state; and
a filter 30 that is attached at an inner upper side of the helmet 10 for preventing the hairs from being sucked out during a vacuum sucking operation based on an operation of the vacuum pump 60 and has a plurality of small holes connected with the connection means 20, whereby the air hose 40 and the helmet 10 are integrally engaged using the connection means 20, so that a certain vacuum pressure is obtained in the interior of the aspirator during a vacuum absorption operation.
2. The aspirator of claim 1, wherein said helmet 10 is made of one material selected among transparent resin, plastic or engineering plastic so that a certain change of the head skin is visually checked during an aspiration therapy.
3. The aspirator of claim 1, wherein said filter 30 is made of one material selected among transparent resin, plastic or engineering plastic so that a certain change of the head skin is visually checked during an aspiration therapy.
4. The aspirator of claim 3, wherein a plurality of massage protrusions 31 are installed at an inner side of the filter 30 directly contacting with the head skin.
5. An aspirator for generating crinis for a baldhead characterized in that said aspirator of claim 1 is used as a device for generating crinis by enhancing a blood circulation at a portion having no hairs.

1. A printhead maintenance assembly for maintaining a printhead in an operable condition, said maintenance assembly comprising:
(i) a printhead maintenance station comprising:
an elastically deformable maintenance belt having a contact surface for sealing engagement with an ink ejection face of said printhead, said contact surface being sloped with respect to said face, and
a conveyor mechanism for conveying said belt past said face; and

(ii) an engagement mechanism for reciprocally moving said belt between a first position, in which part of said contact surface is sealingly engaged with said face, and a second position in which said contact surface is disengaged from said face.
2. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said belt is an endless belt.
3. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said part of said contact surface is substantially coextensive with said printhead.
4. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said conveyor mechanism is configured to convey said belt past said face in a direction parallel with a longitudinal axis of said printhead.
5. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said contact surface is substantially uniform.
6. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said belt is comprised of silicone, polyurethane, Neoprene\xae, Santoprene\xae or Kraton\xae.
7. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said contact surface is flat.
8. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein a peel zone between said contact surface and said ink ejection face advances and retreats transversely across said face during engagement and disengagement.
9. The maintenance assembly of claim 1, wherein said conveyor mechanism comprises a motor and a drive wheel operatively connected to said motor.
10. The maintenance assembly of claim 9, wherein said belt is supported by said drive wheel and at least one other wheel, said wheels being mounted on a chassis, said chassis being moveable between said first and second positions.
11. The maintenance assembly of claim 10, wherein said chassis is biased towards said first position.
12. The maintenance assembly of claim 10, wherein said chassis is moveable substantially perpendicularly with respect to said face.
13. The maintenance assembly of claim 10, wherein said chassis is contained in a housing, said chassis being moveable relative to said housing.
14. The maintenance assembly of claim 10, wherein said engagement mechanism comprises at least one engagement arm, a first end of said at least one arm engaging with a complementary engagement formation of said chassis.
15. The maintenance assembly of claim 14, wherein said chassis comprises at least one lug for complementary engagement with said first end of said at least one engagement arm.
16. The maintenance assembly of claim 14, wherein said at least one engagement arm is part of an engagement mechanism for moving said chassis between said first and second positions.
17. The maintenance assembly of claim 2, wherein said maintenance station further comprises a cleaning station for cleaning said contact surface.
18. The maintenance assembly of claim 17, wherein said conveyor mechanism is configured to convey said belt past said cleaning station.
19. The maintenance assembly of claim 17, wherein said cleaning station-comprises at least one roller positioned for engagement with said contact surface.
20. The maintenance assembly of claim 19, wherein said cleaning station comprises a cleaning roller andor a drying roller.

1. A computer-implemented method for managing messages in an instant messaging system, comprising:
determining whether a message received by a receiving computing device from a sending computing device is undetected by a set of users associated with the receiving computing device;
responsive to determining that the message is undetected by the set of users associated with the receiving computing device, notifying the sending computing device that the message is undetected by the set of users; and
responsive to receiving a request to prevent the set of users from accessing the message, preventing the set of users from accessing the message.
2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein preventing the set of users from accessing the message, further comprises:
preventing the set of users from accessing the message on a graphical user interface.
3. The computer-implemented method of claim 2, wherein preventing the set of users from accessing the message on the graphical user interface further comprises:
removing the message from the graphical user interface.
4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
detecting an absence of the set of users at the receiving computing device.
5. The computer-implemented method of claim 4, wherein the absence is detected based on user data that is acquired by a visual sensing device.
6. The computer-implemented method of claim 4, wherein the absence is detected based on user data that is acquired by an audio sensing device.
7. The computer-implemented method of claim 4, wherein detecting an absence of the set of users at the receiving computing device further comprises:
detecting the absence of a mobile device carried by the set of users.
8. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
identifying a physical orientation of the set of users; and
determining that the message is undetected by the set of users based on the physical orientation.
9. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
detecting a location and a movement of a mobile device carried by the set of users; and
determining that the message is undetected by the set of users based on the location and the movement.
10. The computer-implemented method of claim 9, wherein the location and the movement are detected using bluetooth.
11. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
determining that the message is not displayed on a graphical user interface on the receiving computing device.
12. The computer-implemented method of claim 11, wherein determining that the message is not displayed on the graphical user interface on the receiving computing device further comprises:
determining that a graphical display for the instant messaging system is not displayed on the graphical user interface.
13. The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the notifying is in response to a message status request from the sending computing device.
14. A computer program product comprising:
a computer-usable medium having computer-usable program code for managing messages in an instant messaging system, the computer program product comprising:
computer-usable program code for determining whether a message received by a receiving computing device from a sending computing device is undetected by a set of users associated with the receiving computing device;
computer-usable program code, responsive to determining that the message is undetected by the set of users associated with the receiving computing device, for notifying the sending computing device that the message is undetected by the set of users; and
computer-usable program code, responsive to receiving a request to prevent the set of users from accessing the message, for preventing the set of users from accessing the message.
15. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the computer-usable program code for preventing the set of users from accessing the message on the graphical user interface further comprises:
computer-usable program code for removing the message from the graphical user interface.
16. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
computer-usable program code for detecting an absence of the set of users at the receiving computing device.
17. The computer program product method of claim 14, wherein determining that the message is undetected by the set of users further comprises:
computer-usable program code for determining that the message is not displayed on a graphical user interface on the receiving computing device.
18. A data processing system comprising:
a bus system;
a memory connected to the bus system, wherein the memory includes a set of instructions; and
a processing unit connected to the bus system, wherein the processing unit executes the set of instructions to determine whether a message received by a receiving computing device from a sending computing device is undetected by a set of users associated with the receiving computing device; notify the sending computing device that the message is undetected by the set of users in response to determining that the message is undetected by the set of users associated with the receiving computing device; and prevent the set of users from accessing the message in response to receiving a request to prevent the set of users from accessing the message.
19. The data processing system of claim 18, wherein in determining that the message is undetected by the set of users, the processing unit further executes the set of instructions to:
detect an absence of the set of users at the receiving computing device.
20. The data processing system of claim 18, wherein in determining that the message is undetected by the set of users, the processing unit further executes the set of instructions to:
determine that the message is not displayed on a graphical user interface on the receiving computing device.
