1. A multimedia name card management system, comprising:
a web site, which provides a multimedia name card integration system web site accessible by member with a password;
a one-dimensional barcode, which is specific to a given individual member and is printed on his name card; and
a user employing a barcode reader to read the individual specific one-dimensional barcode printed on the name card and accessing the multimedia name card management system web site through Internet to fast access personal data of the member recorded in the web site so as to realize efficient look-up of the multimedia name card.
2. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein the barcode multimedia name card integration system web site comprises a web site that comprises a data management mechanism containing text, image, and voice.
3. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein name cards belonging to the user are automatically and sequentially sorted in accordance with alphabet, number of stroke, or date for easy look-up.
4. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein the user end is allowed to key in a keyword for carrying out full text searching through the name cards owned thereby.
5. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein the barcode name card management web site system is a password device to allow the member to prevent other persons from modifying the personal data.
6. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein alphanumeric characters are printed below the barcode to allow the user to carry out input through a keyboard instead of using the barcode scanner device for looking up the data of the name card.
7. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein the system automatically informs of all users who have scanned the member’s name card when the member modifies personal data.
8. The multimedia name card management system according to claim 1, wherein the name card data owned by the user is transmitted in a wireless manner to a mobile phone or personal digital assistant thereof or only a preset selected data is transmitted.

1. An X-ray CT apparatus comprising an X-ray tube, an X-ray detection unit, one or more circuit units, and a rotating portion on which the X-ray tube, the X-ray detection unit, and one or more circuit units are mounted to be rotated,
wherein the rotating portion includes a cylinder portion in which the X-ray tube and one or more circuit units are fixed on the inner wall thereof, a ring portion that is disposed so as to be near to one opening rather than the center in the axis direction of the cylinder portion and that has an opening for inserting an object to be examined, and a plurality of spoke portions that connect the cylinder portion and the ring portion.
2. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the ring portion is positioned at the position of one opening of the cylinder portion.
3. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the X-ray tube and one or more circuit units are constituted so that each end thereof is inserted into an opening between the spoke portions.
4. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 3,
wherein the X-ray tube and one or more circuit units are disposed without contacting the spoke portions and the ring portion.
5. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 3,
wherein stiffness of the spoke portions on both sides of the X-ray tube is configured to be greater than that of the other spoke portions.
6. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 5,
wherein the spoke portions of both sides of the X-ray tube include a portion in which the thickness in the direction of the rotation axis is thicker than those of the other spoke portions.
7. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein a plurality of the spoke portions include spoke portions of a plurality of kinds in which the cross-sectional shapes are different in the direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the cylinder portion.
8. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the ring portion includes a region in which the width is wide in the radial direction, and the X-ray detection unit is mounted on the region.
9. An X-ray CT apparatus comprising an X-ray tube, an X-ray detection unit, one or more circuit units, and a rotating portion on which the X-ray tube, the X-ray detection unit, and one or more circuit units are mounted to be rotated,
wherein the rotating portion includes a cylinder portion in which the X-ray tube and one or more circuit units are fixed on the inner wall thereof, a ring portion on which the X-ray detection unit is fixed and that has an opening into which an object is inserted, and a plurality of spoke portions that connect the cylinder portion and the ring portion.
10. The X-ray CT apparatus according to claim 2,
wherein the X-ray tube and one or more circuit units are constituted so that each end thereof is inserted into an opening between the spoke portions.

1. A controller for a direct injection engine in which a fuel is injected into a cylinder directly, the controller comprising:
an exhaust valve control means for performing an exhaust valve early closing control in which a closing timing of an exhaust valve is set before an intake top dead center at least when the engine is at starting andor at cold state in order to raise an inner cylinder temperature; and
a fuel injection control means for performing a pre-fuel injection from a time of closing the exhaust valve to a time of the intake top dead center while the exhaust valve early closing control is performed, and performing a main fuel injection in a suction stroke andor a compression stroke.
2. A controller according to claim 1, further comprising
an ignition control means for performing a pre-ignition corresponding to the pre-fuel injection and performing a main ignition corresponding to the main fuel injection.
3. A controller according to claim 1, wherein
the fuel injection control means varies a fuel injection quantity by the pre-fuel injection based on at least one thermal information of an engine temperature, a coolant temperature, an oil temperature, and an intake air temperature.
4. A controller according to claim 3, wherein
the fuel injection control means increases the fuel injection quantity by the pre-fuel injection as the thermal information decreases.
5. A controller according to claim 1, further comprising
a variable exhaust valve timing control apparatus, wherein
the exhaust valve control means performs the exhaust valve early closing control by controlling the variable exhaust valve timing apparatus in such a manner that the closing timing of the exhaust valve is advanced.
6. A controller according to claim 1, further comprising
a variable exhaust valve lift apparatus, wherein
the exhaust valve control means performs the exhaust valve early closing control by controlling the variable exhaust valve lift apparatus in such a manner that a valve lift of the exhaust valve becomes smaller to reduce an opening period of the exhaust valve.
7. A controller according to claim 1, wherein
the exhaust valve control means varies the closing timing of the exhaust valve in the exhaust valve early closing control based on at least one thermal information of an engine temperature, a coolant temperature, an oil temperature, and an intake air temperature.
8. A controller according to claim 7, wherein
the exhaust valve control means advances the closing timing of the exhaust valve in the exhaust valve early closing control as the thermal information decreases.
9. A controller according to claim 1, further comprising
an intake valve control means for setting an opening timing of an intake valve at the intake top dead center during the exhaust valve early closing control.
10. A controller according to claim 1, further comprising
a main ignition control means for retarding an main ignition timing in accordance with a main fuel injection after the pre-fuel injection relative to an ignition timing after a warm-up of the engine while the exhaust valve early closing control and the pre-fuel injection are performed.
11. A controller for a direct injection engine in which a fuel is injected into a cylinder directly, the controller comprising:
an exhaust valve control means for performing an exhaust valve early closing control in which a closing timing of an exhaust valve is set before an intake top dead center at least when the engine is at starting andor at cold state;
a fuel injection control means for performing a pre-fuel injection from a time of closing the exhaust valve to a time of the intake top dead center while the exhaust valve early closing control is performed, and performing a main fuel injection in a suction stroke andor a compression stroke; and
an ignition control means for retarding an main ignition timing corresponding to the main fuel injection after the pre-fuel injection relative to an ignition timing after a warm-up of the engine white the exhaust valve early closing control and the pre-fuel injection are performed.

What is claimed is:

1. A nonlinear editing system for editing a program from one or more high definition sources, comprising:
a random access computer readable medium for storing a plurality of sequences of digital images corresponding to the one or more sources, wherein each of the plurality of sequences is stored in a data file and wherein each image is a high definition image;
an editing interface that allows a user to specify a representation of the program using a sequence of segments of said plurality of sequences of digital images stored on the random access computer readable medium;
a resizer having an input connected to receive high definition images from the random access computer readable medium and having an output for providing standard definition images obtained by resizing the high definition images by reducing a number of lines and by changing aspect ratio;
a standard definition display connected to the output of the resizer that displays the standard definition images output by the resizer;
a high definition display having an input connected to receive high definition images from the random access computer readable medium that displays the high definition images; and
a playback module that receives the representation of the program and causes images of the program to be displayed on the standard definition display and the high definition display at substantially the same time and in real time.
2. A nonlinear editing system for editing a program from one or more high definition sources, comprising:
a random access computer readable medium for storing a plurality of sequences of digital images corresponding to the one or more sources, wherein each of the plurality of sequences is stored in a data file and wherein each image is a high definition image;
an editing interface that allows a user to specify a representation of the program using a sequence of segments of said plurality of sequences of digital images stored on the random access computer readable medium, wherein each segment is defined by a reference to one of the plurality of sequences of digital images and a range in the sequence of digital images;
a resizer having an input connected to receive high definition images from the random access computer readable medium and having an output for providing standard definition images obtained by resizing the high definition images by reducing a number of lines and by changing aspect ratio;
a standard definition display connected to the output of the resizer that displays the standard definition images output by the resizer;
a high definition display having an input connected to receive high definition images from the random access computer readable medium that displays the high definition images; and
a playback module that receives the representation of the program and causes images of the program to be displayed in synchronization and in real time on the standard definition display and the high definition display.
