What is claimed is:

1. A method of treating a plastic part without using adhesion promoters, comprising the steps of:
providing a burner assembly, said burner assembly including a discharge tube that has an end portion aligned on an axis adjacent a face of said burner assembly, said burner assembly further including at least one flame jet that generally encloses said discharge tube adjacent said burner assembly face;
operatively coupling a control device to said burner assembly, said control device being adapted to cause a liquid mixture including a desired quantity of a graft chemical to be sprayed from said discharge tube generally in a direction along said axis, said control device also being adapted to cause a flame to be projected from said at least one flame jet, said flame generally enclosing said liquid mixture spray and being near a predetermined temperature at a predetermined distance away from said at least one flame jet;
determining a sequence of movements of said burner assembly relative to a predetermined surface portion of a plastic part; and
moving said burner assembly relative to said plastic part in accordance with said sequence of movements while spraying said liquid mixture from said discharge tube and projecting said flame from said at least one flame jet so that said liquid mixture and said flame contact said predetermined surface portion of said plastic part to prepare it to accept paint.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein when said moving step causes the desired surface area of said plastic part to be contacted by said flame generally only once.
3. The method of claim 1 wherein said graft chemical comprises a multi-functional amine containing organic compound.
4. The method of claim 3 wherein said liquid mixture comprises 400 parts water to 1 part of said a multi-functional amine containing organic compound.
5. The method of claim 4 wherein said a multi-functional amine containing organic compound comprises Lupasol G35.
6. The method of claim 1 wherein an injection molding process is utilized to form said plastic part.
7. The method of claim 1 wherein said plastic is contoured.

1. A method of constructing a software application, comprising:
reading one or more complete and consistent specifications that define, at least in part, a software application;
generating by a processor a data storage structure for storing data of the software application automatically based, at least in part, upon one or more design elements within the one or more complete and consistent specifications;
generating by the processor at least one unit of code automatically based, at least in part, upon the one or more design elements within the one or more complete and consistent specifications; and
constructing by the processor a first application from the at least one unit of code and data storage structure, wherein constructing the first application includes one or more of:
identifying one or more process actions to be implemented in the first application;
identifying one or more units of code associated with the one or more process actions; and
creating at least one additional unit of code for the one or more process actions that invokes at least one of the one or more identified units of code.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the one or more design elements is selected from a group consisting of:
a process definition that defines, at least in part, a process associated with the software application, wherein the process is one or more of:
a process of which the software application is at least a part; and
a process that is part of the software application;
a process action that defines, at least in part, an action associated with the process;
a data definition that defines, at least in part, data associated with the software application;
a data relationship that defines, at least in part, a relationship between the data;
a user interface definition that defines, at least in part, an interface to the software application; and
a rule that is applied to at least one of the one or more design elements.
3. The method of claim 1 further comprising generating items selected from a group consisting of: test cases for validating the first application; and test data for validating the first application.
4. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
reading one or more additional specifications that define, at least in part, the software application;
generating at least one additional data storage structure for storing data of the software application;
generating at least one additional unit of code based, at least in part, upon one or more design elements within the one or more additional specifications; and
modifying the first application.
5. The method of claim 4 wherein modifying the first application includes at least one operation selected from a group consisting of:
constructing a second application including compiling the at least one additional units of code;
adding the at least one additional unit of code to the first application;
adding the at least one additional data storage structure to the first application; and
reconstructing, at least in part, the first application based on the additional specifications wherein reconstructing the first application comprises compiling the at least one additional units of code.
6. The method of claim 4 further comprising: generating an additional data storage structure for storing data of the first application.
7. The method of claim 4 further comprising: modifying an existing data storage structure for storing data of the first application.
8. The method of claim 1 wherein the data storage structure is defined, at least in part, by the one or more design elements.
9. The method of claim 8 wherein the one or more design elements are selected from a group consisting of: a data element; a relationship between data elements; and an order for organizing data elements and relationships.
10. The method of claim 1 wherein the at least one unit of code is defined, at least in part, by the one or more design elements.
11. The method of claim 1 wherein the one or more design elements is selected from a group consisting of: a data validation rule; a data derivation rule; a data access rule; a process action user interface element; a process action control rule; a process action entry condition; a process action exit condition; a process action data rule; and a process action exception handling rule.
12. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
modifying one or more specifications to modify, at least in part, the software application;

reading the one or more modified specifications;
generating at least one additional unit of code based, at least in part, upon the one or more design elements within the one or more modified specifications; and
modifying the software application.
13. A computer program product residing on a non-transitory computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations:
reading one or more complete and consistent specifications that define, at least in part, a software application;
generating a data storage structure for storing data of the software application automatically based, at least in part, upon one or more design elements within the one or more complete and consistent specifications;
generating at least one unit of code automatically based, at least in part, upon the one or more design elements within the one or more complete and consistent specifications; and
constructing a first application from the at least one unit of code and data storage structure, wherein constructing the first application includes one or more of:
identifying one or more process actions to be implemented in the first application;
identifying one or more units of code associated with the one or more process actions; and
creating at least one additional unit of code for the one or more process actions that invokes at least one of the one or more identified units of code.
14. The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the one or more design elements is selected from a group consisting of:
a process definition that defines, at least in part, a process associated with the software application, wherein the process is one or more of:
a process of which the software application is at least a part; and
a process that is part of the software application;
a process action that defines, at least in part, an action associated with the process;
a data definition that defines, at least in part, data associated with the software application;
a data relationship that defines, at least in part, a relationship between the data;
a user interface definition that defines, at least in part, an interface to the software application; and
a rule that is applied to at least one of the one or more design elements.
15. The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the operations further comprise generating items selected from a group consisting of: test cases for validating the first application; and test data for validating the first application.

generating at least one additional data storage structure for storing data of the software application;

modifying the first application.
17. The computer program product of claim 16 wherein modifying the first application includes at least one operation selected from a group consisting of:
constructing a second application including compiling the at least one additional units of code;
adding the at least one additional unit of code to the first application;
adding the at least one additional data storage structure to the first application; and
reconstructing, at least in part, the first application based on the additional specifications wherein reconstructing the first application comprises compiling the at least one additional units of code.
18. The computer program product of claim 16 wherein the operations further comprise: generating an additional data storage structure for storing data of the first application.
19. The computer program product of claim 16 wherein the operations further comprise: modifying an existing data storage structure for storing data of the first application.
20. The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the data storage structure is defined, at least in part, by the one or more design elements.

1. A network device comprising:
a terminating device to:
receive a plurality of data streams via multiple connections to a plurality of communication lines, and
identify a particular operating state of each of the connections;

a counting device to determine an accumulated amount of data for each of the connections;
a first controller to determine a target value for the accumulated data associated with each of the connections;
a clock unit to generate a read clock for the accumulated data; and
a second controller to determine a frequency of the read clock based on at least one of the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, or the determined operating states.
2. The network device of claim 1, wherein the second controller is to determine the frequency of the read clock based on at least two of the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, or the determined operating states.
3. The network device of claim 1, wherein the second controller is to determine the frequency of the read clock based on the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, and the determined operating states.
4. The network device of claim 1, wherein the first controller calculates the target values based on a line rate associated with each of the plurality of communication lines.
5. The network device of claim 1, wherein the second controller to determines a frequency of the read clock based on the determined accumulated amounts of data associated with only those connections, of the multiple connections, determined to have operating states that are normal.
6. The network device of claim 1, further comprising:
a read unit to send, from the network device, at least some of the accumulated data based on the determined frequency of the read clock.
7. The network device of claim 1, wherein the plurality of communication lines comprises at least one incoming line associated with a source network and at least one outgoing line associated with a destination network, and wherein a type of the source network and a type of the destination network differ.
8. The network device of claim 1, further comprising:
a segmentation device to segment the data streams to form payload data, and
a buffer to accumulate the payload data corresponding to the accumulated amount of data.
9. A network device comprising:
a segmentation device to convert a plurality of data streams, received via multiple connections to a plurality of communication lines, from a first data format to a second data format; and
a reassembly device including:
a buffer to:
accumulate data, in the second data format, from the data streams for each of the multiple connections,

an operating state identifying unit to:
detect a fault condition in a first connection, of the multiple connections,

a clock restoring unit to:
calculate, responsive to the fault condition, a frequency for a read clock, using a sum of the accumulated data for each of the connections but the first connection, and

a clock calculating unit to:
generate, using the calculated frequency, the read clock to be used in reading the accumulated data from the buffer.
10. The network device of claim 9, the reassembly device further comprising:
a data reading unit to:
read out, based on the generated read clock, data from the buffer.
11. The network device of claim 9, wherein the operating state identifying unit is to detect the fault condition by at least one of:
receiving an alarm OAM (operations, administration, and maintenance) cell via the first connection,
detecting generation of an ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) header error control (HEC) error, or
detecting an AAL1 (ATM adaptation layer 1) sequence error.
12. The network device of claim 9, wherein the operating state identifying unit is to generate, upon the detection of the fault condition, a fault notification to be sent to the clock restoring unit.
13. The network device of claim 9, wherein the clock restoring unit is further configured to confirm the fault notification before calculating the frequency.
14. The network device of claim 9, wherein the clock restoring unit comprises a phase locked oscillator.
15. The network device of claim 9, wherein:
the operating state identifying unit is further configured to detect that the fault condition has been remedied and the first connection has resumed a normal operating state,
the clock restoring unit is further configured to recalculate the frequency of the read clock upon the first connection resuming the normal operating state, and
the clock calculating unit is further configured to generate, using the recalculated frequency, the read clock to be used in reading the accumulated data from the buffer.
16. The network device of claim 9, further comprising:
a target value managing unit to calculate, based on a line rate for each of the connections, but the first connection, a target value for an amount of the accumulated data for each of the connections, but the first connection, wherein the clock restoring is further configured to calculate the frequency for the read clock based on the target value.
17. A method performed in a network device, comprising:
receiving, at a terminating device of the network device, a plurality of data streams via multiple connections to a plurality of communication lines;
identifying, at the terminating device, a particular operating state of each of the connections;
determining, at a counting device of the network device, an accumulated amount of data for each of the connections;
determining, at a first controller of the network device, a target value for the accumulated data associated with each of the connections;
generating, at a clock unit of the network device, a read clock for the accumulated data; and
calculating, at a second controller, a frequency of the read clock based on at least one of the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, or the determined operating states.
18. The method of claim 17, further comprising:
calculating the frequency of the read clock based on at least two of the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, or the determined operating states.
19. The method of claim 17, further comprising:
calculating the frequency of the read clock based on the determined accumulated amounts of data, the determined target values, and the determined operating states.
20. The method of claim 17, further comprising:
transmitting, from the network device, at least some of the accumulated data based on the determined frequency of the read clock.

a storage unit for storing an operating system and an application; and
a processor electrically connected to the display panel, the touch panel and the storage unit and used for executing the operating system and the application in the display panel;
wherein when the processor detects that a first touch object presses a predetermined corner of the touch panel and detects that a second touch object performs a predetermined gesture within a predetermined region of the touch panel, the processor executes a predetermined function in the application according to signals generated by the touch panel and controls the display panel to display an executed result corresponding to the predetermined function.

The touch display device of claim 1, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper left corner, a lower left corner, an upper right corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is a corner diagonal to the predetermined corner, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to close the application.

The touch display device of claim 1, wherein the predetermined corner is one of a lower left corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is an operable region of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a slide gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to change page in the application.

The touch display device of claim 3, wherein when the second touch object slides on the operable region of the touch panel leftward, the predetermined function is executed to page up; when the second touch object slides on the operable region of the touch panel rightward, the predetermined function is executed to page down.

The touch display device of claim 1, wherein the predetermined corner is one of a lower left corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the lower left corner and the lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to change a current page displayed in the application to bottom or change a current page displayed in the application from bottom to top.

The touch display device of claim 5, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper left corner and an upper right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the upper left corner and the upper right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to change a current page displayed in the application to top.

The touch display device of claim 1, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper left corner and a lower left corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the upper left corner and the lower left corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to open a new page in the application or close a current page displayed in the application.

The touch display device of claim 1, wherein after the first touch object presses the predetermined corner of the touch panel, the processor determines whether the first touch object presses the predetermined corner over a predetermined time period continuously; once the first touch object presses the predetermined corner of the touch panel over the predetermined time period continuously, the processor determines whether the second touch object performs the predetermined gesture within the predetermined region of the touch panel; and once the second touch object performs the predetermined gesture within the predetermined region of the touch panel, the processor executes the predetermined function in the application according to signals generated by the touch panel.
10. A touch method adapted for a touch display device, the touch display device comprising a touch panel, an operating system and at least one application, the touch method comprising:
executing the operating system and the at least one application;
detecting whether a first touch object presses a predetermined corner of the touch panel;
detecting whether a second touch object performs a predetermined gesture within a predetermined region of the touch panel; and
executing a predetermined function in the application according to detection result correspondingly.
11. The touch method of claim 10, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper left corner, a lower left corner, an upper right corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is a corner diagonal to the predetermined corner, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to close the application.
12. The touch method of claim 10, wherein the predetermined corner is one of a lower left corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is an operable region of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a slide gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to change page in the application.
13. The touch method of claim 12, wherein when the second touch object slides on the operable region of the touch panel leftward, the predetermined function is executed to page up; when the second touch object slides on the operable region of the touch panel rightward, the predetermined function is executed to page down.

The touch method of claim 10, wherein the predetermined corner is one of a lower left corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the lower left corner and the lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to change a current page displayed in the application to bottom or change a current page displayed in the application from bottom to top.

The touch method of claim 10, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper left corner and a lower left corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the upper left corner and the lower left corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to open a new page in the application or close a current page displayed in the application.

The touch method of claim 10, wherein the predetermined corner is one of an upper right corner and a lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined region is the other one of the upper right corner and the lower right corner of the touch panel, the predetermined gesture is a press gesture, and the predetermined function is executed to open a new page in the application or close a current page displayed in the application.
18. The touch method of claim 10, further comprising:
after detecting that the first touch object presses the predetermined corner of the touch panel, determining whether the first touch object presses the predetermined corner over a predetermined time period continuously;
once the first touch object presses the predetermined corner of the touch panel over the predetermined time period continuously, determining whether the second touch object performs the predetermined gesture within the predetermined region of the touch panel; and
once the second touch object performs the predetermined gesture within the predetermined region of the touch panel, executing the predetermined function in the application according to signals generated by the touch panel.
