What is claimed is:

1. A wrap around fabric sleeve for the protection of elongated substrates, said sleeve being woven mineral, glass fiber or ceramic yarns and comprising hybrid yarns extending in the fill direction;
said sleeve having a greater length than width and having substantially parallel side edges;
said hybrid yarns extending in the fill direction and consisting essentially of glass fiber, mineral or ceramic fiber and materials within the group consisting of resiliently settable polymeric materials, resilient formable wire either alone, in combination with each other or in combination with mineral fibers; and
said hybrid yarns being resiliently set to form resilient hoops, said resilient hoops yieldably maintaining the sleeve side edges in adjacent relationship.
2. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein the hybrid yarns comprise resiliently settable wire.
3. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein the hybrid yarns comprise heat settable polymeric material.
4. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, further including multifilament warp yarns, and wherein the hybrid yarns comprise a combination of glass fiber yarn and heat settable polymeric material.
5. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 4, wherein the glass fiber yarn comprises a core yarn and the polymeric material is wrapped around the core yarn.
6. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein a reflective film is bonded to the outer surface of said sleeve.
7. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 14, wherein said multifilament glass fiber warp yarns are bulky yarns and the warp and fill yarns are woven relatively tightly to form an insulating barrier for said elongated substrates.
8. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 4, wherein said glass fiber yarns have a moisture impervious coating.
9. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein hybrid yarn is 98 to 328 tex and comprises glass fiber yarn wrapped with polyester sliver.
10. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 9, wherein the polyester to total yarn hybrid composition is from about 20 to about 80 weight percent.
11. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein the hybrid yarn comprises a center core of glass yarn and wire and a polymeric material wrapped around said center core.
12. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 2, wherein the warp yarns are relatively limp yarns.
13. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 1, wherein the hybrid yarn comprises a center core comprised of a polymeric material and a glass fiber yarn wrapped around said center core.
14. A wraparound sleeve according to claim 4, wherein multifilament warp yarns are glass fiber yarns.

1. A gaming system comprising:
at least one display device;
at least one input device;
at least one processor; and
at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device to:
(a) receive a base wager from a player for a play of a wagering game,
(b) if a modifier is available, enable the player to select to cause any one of:
(i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and
(ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game,

(c) display an outcome of said play of the wagering game,
(d) if the outcome is a losing outcome and if the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, decrease the modifier,
(e) if the outcome is the losing outcome and if the player caused the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game, increase the modifier,
(f) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a first award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome and the base wager,
(ii) provide the player the first award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier, and

(g) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a second different award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome, the base wager, and the modifier,
(ii) provide the player the second different award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier.
2. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: increase the modifier by an amount selected from the group consisting of: (a) a randomly determined amount, and (b) a static amount.
3. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the modifier is a multiplier.
4. The gaming system of claim 3, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: increase the multiplier by an amount selected from the group consisting of: (a) a randomly determined amount, and (b) a static amount.
5. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein each decrease of the modifier is a reset of the modifier.
6. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: display the outcome of said play of the wagering game after the player selects to cause any one of: (i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and (ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game.
7. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: (i) if the modifier is decreased, repeat (a) to (g) for a next play of the wagering game using the decreased modifier as the modifier, and (ii) if the modifier is increased, repeat (a) to (g) for the next play of the wagering game using the increased modifier as the modifier.
8. The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: require the player to make an additional wager to select to cause any one of: (i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and (ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game.
9. A gaming system comprising:
at least one display device;
at least one input device;
at least one processor; and
at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device, for a group of sequential plays of a wagering game, to:
(a) apply a base wager from a player for one of the plays of the wagering game,
(b) display a modifier applicable to said play of the wagering game,
(c) before displaying an outcome of said play of the wagering game, enable the player to select to cause any one of:
(i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and
(ii) the displayed modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game,

(d) display the outcome of said play of the wagering game,
(e) if the outcome is a losing outcome and if the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, decrease the modifier,
(f) if the outcome is the losing outcome and if the player caused the displayed modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game, increase the modifier,
(g) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a first award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome and the base wager,
(ii) provide the player the first award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier,

(h) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a second different award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome, the base wager, and the modifier,
(ii) provide the player the second different award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier; and

The gaming system of claim 9, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: require the player to make an additional wager to select to cause any one of: (i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and (ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game.
15. A gaming system comprising:
at least one display device;
at least one input device;
at least one processor; and
at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device, for each of a plurality of sequential plays of a wagering game, to:
if at least one designated condition is satisfied for a multiplier, require a player to make an input indicating whether to apply the multiplier for said play of the wagering game,
if said play of the wagering game results in a loss for the player and the multiplier is applied to said play of the wagering game, reset the multiplier for a next sequential play of the wagering game,
if said play of the wagering game results in the loss for the player and the multiplier is not applied to said play of the wagering game, increase the multiplier for the next sequential play of the wagering game,
if said play of the wagering game results in a win for the player and the multiplier is not applied to said play of the wagering game, provide the player a first award, and decrease the multiplier for the next sequential play of the wagering game, and
if said play of the wagering game results in the win for the player and the multiplier is applied to said play of the wagering game, provide the player a second award determined using the multiplier, and decrease the multiplier for the next sequential play of the wagering game.
16. A gaming system comprising:
at least one display device;
at least one input device;
at least one processor; and
at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device to:
(a) receive a base wager from a player for a play of a wagering game,
(b) if a modifier is available, enable the player to select to cause any one of:
(i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and
(ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game,

(c) display an outcome of said play of the wagering game,
(d) if the outcome is a losing outcome and if the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, decrease the modifier,
(e) if the outcome is the losing outcome and if the player caused the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game, determine whether to increase the modifier, and increase the modifier if the determination is to increase the modifier,
(f) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a first award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome and the base wager,
(ii) provide the player the first award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier, and

(g) if the outcome is a winning outcome and the player caused the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game:
(i) determine a second different award to provide to the player based on the winning outcome, the base wager, and the modifier,
(ii) provide the player the second different award, and
(iii) decrease the modifier.
17. The gaming system of claim 16, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: increase the modifier by an amount selected from the group consisting of: (a) a randomly determined amount, and (b) a static amount.
18. The gaming system of claim 16, wherein the modifier is a multiplier.

The gaming system of claim 18, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: increase the multiplier by an amount selected from the group consisting of: (a) a randomly determined amount, and (b) a static amount.
20. The gaming system of claim 16, wherein each decrease of the modifier is a reset of the modifier.

The gaming system of claim 16, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: display the outcome of said play of the wagering game after the player selects to cause any one of: (i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and (ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game.

The gaming system of claim 16, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: (i) if the modifier is decreased, repeat (a) to (g) for a next play of the wagering game using the decreased modifier as the modifier, and (ii) if the modifier is increased, repeat (a) to (g) for the next play of the wagering game using the increased modifier as the modifier.
23. The gaming system of claim 16, wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device to: require the player to make an additional wager to select to cause any one of: (i) the modifier to be applied to said play of the wagering game, and (ii) the modifier to not be applied to said play of the wagering game.

1. A multi-action toy water gun, comprising:
a housing including a gun barrel having a discharge chamber and a discharge nozzle through which water is to be discharged;
a handle grippable by one hand of a user for carrying the water gun and for aiming the gun barrel towards a target;
a water reservoir carried by said housing for holding a quantity of water;
a manually-driven pump having a pumping chamber and a handpiece grippable by the other hand of the user and reciprocatable along an axis parallel to that of the barrel for pumping water from said water reservoir to produce a discharge of water through said nozzle via said pumping and discharge chambers;
and a water discharge control presettable by the user to different preset positions enabling the user to produce, during one preset position thereof, a large quantity blast water discharge from said gun barrel towards the target for drenching purposes, and during another preset position thereof, a rapid sequence of small-quantity water discharges for simulating rapid shots of an automatic gun;
wherein said water discharge control includes first and second manually-presettable devices for controlling the volume of said discharge chamber,
wherein there is a single water reservoir to produce the discharge of water through the discharge nozzle via the pumping and discharge chambers,
wherein said second manually-presettable device includes a plunger within said discharge chamber counted to said handpiece reciprocatable by the user along an axis parallel to that of the barrel, and
wherein the movement of said plunger within said discharge chamber is guided by a slot in the housing defining the discharge chamber, and is locked in the desired position by locking recesses formed in said slot.
2. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein said first manually-presettable device is a cover threadedly received at one end of a housing defining said discharge chamber, which cover includes a central opening for receiving said discharge nozzle.
3. The toy water gun according to claim 2, wherein the opposite end of said housing defining said discharge chamber is formed with an inlet laterally offset from said central opening in the cover receiving said discharge nozzle.
4. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein said water discharge control also produces, in a further preset position thereof, a single small-quantity water discharge simulating a single shot of a gun.
5. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein said discharge chamber includes an outlet end communicating with the discharge nozzle of said barrel, and an inlet end communicating with said manually-driven pump;
and wherein said water discharge control includes a pressure-sensitive, snap-action valve at said outlet end of said discharge chamber, which valve is normally closed but which automatically opens with a snap-action when the pressure in said discharge chamber reaches a predetermined maximum pressure, and automatically recloses with a snap-action when the pressure in said discharge chamber drops to a predetermined lower pressure than said predetermined maximum pressure.
6. The toy water gun according to claim 5, wherein said water discharge control further includes a flow-rate selector between said manually-driven pump and said discharge chamber which is presettable to produce either said large quantity water discharge or said rapid sequence of small quantity water discharges.
7. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein there is a single water reservoir to produce the discharge of water through the discharge nozzle via the pumping and discharge chambers.
8. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein said toy water gun further comprises a pivotal trigger which, when pivotted, produces a single, small-quantity discharge from the water reservoir simulating a single shot of a gun.
9. The toy water gun according to claim 1, wherein:
the water gun further comprises a second discharge chamber having a second discharge nozzle through which water is to be discharged; and
the handpiece of the manually-driven pump is responsible for pumping water from the water reservoir to the first-mentioned discharge chamber to produce the large-quantity water discharge from the first mentioned nozzle for drenching purposes, or the rapid sequence of small-quantity water discharges for simulating rapid shots of an automatic gun.
10. The toy water gun according to claim 9, wherein each of said discharge chambers includes a snap-action pressure-responsive valve including:
a valve opening in a fixed wall of the respective discharge chamber;
a stem fixed adjacent to said fixed wall on the side thereof facing a movable wall;
a liquid inlet port through said stem;
and a valve member carried by said stem and normally closing said valve opening in said fixed wall of the respective discharge chamber;
said fixed wall of the respective discharge chamber being elastically deformable by the pressure within said respective discharge chamber such as to produce a snap-action opening of said valve member with respect to said valve opening upon the pressure within the respective discharge chamber reaching said predetermined value.
11. The toy water gun according to claim 9, wherein there is a single water reservoir to produce the discharge of water through the discharge nozzle via the pumping and discharge chambers.
12. The toy water gun according to claim 8, wherein said water discharge control further includes a slow-rate selector between said manually-driven pump and said discharge chamber which is presettable to produce either said large-quantity water discharge, or said rapid sequence of small-quantity water discharges.

We claim:

1. A method of manufacturing fluid filled low profile extrusions, comprising the steps of:
placing a coil within an oven;
evacuating said coil;
filling said coil with a heat transfer fluid;
heating said coil until all of said fluid is in a vapor phase;
crimping said coil;
sealing said coil; and
cutting said coil into lengths.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of charging said coil with a fluid comprises the step of charging said coil with water.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the step of charging said coil with a fluid comprises the step of charging said coil with glycol.
4. The method according to claim 3, wherein the step of charging said coil with a fluid comprises the step of charging said coil with alcohol.
5. The method according to claim 4, wherein the step of charging said coil with a fluid comprises the step of charging said coil with a conventional refrigerant.
6. A cooling apparatus for removing heat from at least one heat generating component, said cooling apparatus comprising:
a low profile member internally comprising a plurality of micro tubes, said member having an evaporator portion and a condenser portion, said evaporator portion having a first exterior surface adapted for receiving heat from the at least one heat generating component; and
wherein said plurality of micro tubes are adapted to receive a heat transfer fluid.
7. The cooling apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said plurality of micro tubes further comprise an internal wick structure to facilitate heat removal via capillary action
8. The cooling apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said internal wick structure comprises internal fins.
9. The cooling apparatus of claim 8, wherein each of said plurality of micro tubes are individually sealed.
10. The cooling apparatus of claim 9, wherein said condenser section is elevated with respect to said evaporator section.
