Method for manufacturing a structural member having a body portion (4) and at least one flanged terminal portion (22) comprising the steps of extruding a profile and making one or more lengthwise splits (8) in one end of said profile to obtain at least one foldable section (7), where said at least one section (7) is folded into a position whereby the flanged terminal portion (22) is obtained,

Structural member having a body portion (4) and at least one flanged terminal portion (22), comprising an extruded profile with one or more lengthwise splits (8) in one end of said profile and thereby forming at least one foldable section (7) where said foldable section (7) is folded in a position whereby the flanged terminal portion (22) is obtained,
characterised in that
the profile is provided with at least one longitudinal flange (5, 5) forming an extension of a corresponding wall (2, 2, 3, 3) whereby the foldable section (7) comprises an end part of said flange and said wall.
11. Structural member according to claim 10,
characterised in that
the extruded profile is cut in a precalculated length prerequisite for the length of the final structural member.
12. Structural member according to claim 10,

removal of excessive material defines the final geometrical shape of the body portion (4).

detecting a viewing event corresponding to a user viewing a content item;
determining, using one or more processors, a view reason associated with the viewing event, the view reason indicating how the user was notified of the content item or how the user accessed the content item;
generating, using the one or more processors, metadata describing the viewing event;
associating the metadata with the content item;
receiving a request, from a content author, to display a viewership summary of content items authored by the content author;
aggregating metadata describing viewing events associated with the content items authored by the content author; and
generating a display, via a user interface in a device, of the viewership summary, based on the aggregated metadata, the viewership summary indicating a list of one or more viewers that have viewed one or more of the content items authored by the content author within a predetermined time period, and the list identifying, for each of the viewers, a specific one of the content items viewed by the viewer, and a view reason indicating how the viewer was notified of the specific content item or how the viewer accessed the specific content item.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the generating comprises:
including, in the metadata, the view reason information.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason identifies a content distribution channel via which the user was notified of the content item.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason identifies a person followed by or connected to the user, after a content feed notifies the user of an interaction between the person and the content item.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason identifies a topic followed by or connected to the user, after a content feed notifies the user of an association between the content item and the topic and notifies the user of an update to the content item.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason identifies the content item, after a public interaction event between the user and the content item, the interaction event corresponding to the user posting the content item, posting a response to the content item, following the content item, or voting on the content item.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason indicates that the user specified a reference link to the content item in an address bar of a web browser application.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason indicates that the user accessed the content item via a reference link included in another content item.
9. The method of claim 1, wherein the view reason indicates that the user accessed the content item via a reference link associated with a search result displayed in a search results webpage.
10. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
generating a display, via a user interface in a device, of a list of one or more viewers of the content item, based on the metadata associated with the content item.
11. The method of claim 1, wherein the list identifies, for each of the viewers, identification information of the viewer, and a view reason indicating how the viewer was notified of the content item or how the viewer accessed the content item.
12. The method of claim 1, further comprising determining a privacy value associated with the viewing event, the privacy value indicating an inferred sensitivity of the user to publication of the viewing event.
13. The method of claim 12, wherein the privacy value is determined based on content included in the content item or a topic associated with the content item.
14. The method of claim 12, wherein the privacy value is determined based on a content distribution channel via which the user is notified of the content item, the content distribution channel providing a reference link that was accessed by the user to view the content item.
15. The method of claim 12, wherein the privacy value is determined based on a previous content item viewed by the user before the user viewed the content item, the previous content item including a reference link that was accessed by the user to view the content item.
16. The method of claim 12, wherein the privacy value is determined based on a public interaction event between the user and the content item, the interaction event corresponding to the user posting the content item, posting a response to the content item, following the content item, or voting on the content item.
17. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium having embodied thereon instructions executable by one or more machines to perform operations comprising:
detecting a viewing event corresponding to a user viewing a content item;
determining view reason information associated with the viewing event, the view reason information indicating how the user was notified of the content item or how the user accessed the content item;
generating metadata describing the viewing event;
associating the metadata with the content item;
receiving a request, from a content author, to display a viewership summary of content items authored by the content author;
aggregating metadata describing viewing events associated with the content items authored by the content author; and
generating a display, via a user interface in a device, of the viewership summary, based on the aggregated metadata, the viewership summary indicating a list of one or more viewers that have viewed one or more of the content items authored by the content author within a predetermined time period, and the list identifying, for each of the viewers, a specific one of the content items viewed by the viewer, and a view reason indicating how the viewer was notified of the specific content item or how the viewer accessed the specific content item.
18. A system comprising:
a determination module configured to:
detect a viewing event corresponding to a user viewing a content item; and
determine view reason information associated with the viewing event, the view reason information indicating how the user was notified of the content item or how the user accessed the content item; and

a metadata management module configured to:
generate metadata describing the viewing event;
associate the metadata with the content item;
receive a request, from a content author, to display a viewership summary of content items authored by the content author;
aggregate metadata describing viewing events associated with the content items authored by the content author; and
generate a display, via a user interface in a device, of the viewership summary, based on the aggregated metadata, the viewership summary indicating a list of one or more viewers that have viewed one or more of the content items authored by the content author within a predetermined time period, and the list identifying, for each of the viewers, a specific one of the content items viewed by the viewer, and a view reason indicating how the viewer was notified of the specific content item or how the viewer accessed the specific content item.

A wiper blade adapter system comprising a wiper blade adapter unit (10) having a coupling unit (18) and at least two connection units (12, 14, 16) that have different forms, characterized in that the coupling unit (18) comprises a lateral plug-in unit (20) configured for coupling to the at least two connection units (12, 14, 16) in an assembly step.
2. The wiper blade adapter system according to claim 1, characterized in that the lateral plug-in unit (20) comprises a receiving element (22) configured for receiving a plug element (24) of one of the at least two connection units (12, 14, 16).
3. Wiper blade adapter system according to claim 2, characterized in that the receiving element (22) comprises a mounting channel (26) which extends at least substantially parallel to a wiping direction (54).
4. The wiper blade adapter system according to claim 3, characterized in that the mounting channel (26) has a substantially circular cross section and is configured for pivotably mounting one of the at least two connection units (12, 14, 16).

1. An adjustable resistance exercise apparatus comprising:
a hand held device including a frame member with a frame axle and at least one frame grip;
a cable spool rotatably supported on the frame axle;
a cable having a first end fixed to the cable spool, and the cable spool being structured to wind the cable about an exterior thereof;
an resistance adjusting mechanism for imparting an adjustable force of resistance to rotation of said cable spool;
a quick connect fitting on an opposite end of said cable for releasable attachment to an anchor point; and
whereby forced movement of said handheld device away from the anchor point pulls the cable from said anchor spool, thereby causing the anchor spool to rotate against the force of resistance imparted by the resistance adjusting mechanism.
2. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said resistance adjusting mechanism includes a first piston having a piston head that moves against pressure within a variable volume airtight chamber upon rotation of said cable spool.
3. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 2 wherein said resistance adjusting mechanism includes a second piston defining a resistance adjustment piston having a piston head that is adjustably movable within said airtight chamber for varying the volume of said airtight chamber, and thereby changing the air pressure therein and the force of resistance against the inward movement of said first piston within said airtight chamber.
4. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 1 further comprising:
a rigid garment structured to be worn on the user’s body and including at least one connection fitting defining said anchor point for removable attaching of the quick connect fitting on the end of the cable.
5. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 4 further wherein said rigid garment is a vest-like structure adapted to be worn over the user’s torso and including a rigid chest plate and a plurality of said connection fittings defining a plurality of said anchor points.
6. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 5 further wherein said rigid garment further comprises:
at least one adjustable arm on the back of the vest-like structure, and said at least one adjustable arm having a connection fitting defining said anchor point.
7. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 4 further wherein said rigid garment is a belt adapted to be worn around the user’s waist and including said at least one connection fitting defining said anchor point.
8. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said hand held device is a hand grip adapted to be grasped in one hand and moved by one arm of the user.
9. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said hand held device is a bar grip adapted to be grasped in both hands and moved by both arms of the user.

The adjustable resistance apparatus as recited in claim 3 wherein said resistance adjusting mechanism further comprises a fixed gear affixed to an inner surface of said cable spool, said fixed gear being in threaded connection with said first piston, and said fixed gear being structured and disposed for moving said piston head against pressure with the variable volume airtight chamber upon rotation of said cable spool.
11. An adjustable resistance exercise apparatus comprising:
a hand held device including a frame member with a frame axle and at least one frame grip;
a cable spool rotatably supported on the frame axle;
a cable having a first end fixed to the cable spool, and the cable spool being structured to wind the cable about an exterior thereof;
an resistance adjusting mechanism for imparting an adjustable force of resistance to rotation of said cable spool and including a first piston having a piston head that moves against pressure within a variable volume airtight chamber upon rotation of said cable spool;
a quick connect fitting on an opposite end of said cable for releasable attachment to an anchor point; and
whereby forced movement of said handheld device away from the anchor point pulls the cable from said anchor spool, thereby causing the anchor spool to rotate against the force of resistance imparted by the resistance adjusting mechanism.
12. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 11 wherein said resistance adjusting mechanism includes a second piston defining a resistance adjustment piston having a piston head that is adjustably movable within said airtight chamber for varying the volume of said airtight chamber, and thereby changing the air pressure therein and the force of resistance against the inward movement of said first piston within said airtight chamber.
13. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 11 further comprising:
a rigid garment structured to be worn on the user’s body and including at least one connection fitting defining said anchor point for removable attaching of the quick connect fitting on the end of the cable.
14. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 13 further wherein said rigid garment is a vest-like structure adapted to be worn over the user’s torso and including a rigid chest plate and a plurality of said connection fittings defining a plurality of said anchor points.
15. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 14 further wherein said rigid garment further comprises:
at least one adjustable arm on the back of the vest-like structure, and said at least one adjustable arm having a connection fitting defining said anchor point.
16. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 13 further wherein said rigid garment is a belt adapted to be worn around the user’s waist and including said at least one connection fitting defining said anchor point.
17. The adjustable resistance exercise apparatus as recited in claim 11 wherein said hand held device is a hand grip adapted to be grasped in one hand and moved by one arm of the user.
