obtaining a final luminance gain value by a luminance correction calculation, a saturation correction calculation and a comparative calculation according to R,G and B values of a pixel; and
adjusting said R, G and B values of said pixel according to said final luminance gain value.
2. The method for luminance correction as recited in claim 1, further comprising:
obtaining a first gain value, a second gain value, and a third gain value according to said luminance correction calculation, said saturation correction calculation and said comparative calculation respectively;and
obtaining said final luminance gain value according to said first gain value, said second gain value and said third gain value.
3. The method for luminance correction as recited in claim 2, further comprising:
obtaining said final luminance gain value according said first gain value, said second gain value, said third gain value and a gain control value.
4. The method for luminance correction as recited in claim 1, wherein said luminance correction calculation is expressed as

7. A luminance correction circuit on a display device, comprising:
a luninance correction calculation circuit, receiving said R,G and B values of said pixel for calculating so as to output a first gain value;
a saturation correction calculation circuit, receiving said R,G and B values of said pixel for calulating so as to output a second gain value;
a comparative calculation circuit, receiving said R,G and B values of said pixel for calculating so as to output a third gain value; and
a synthesizing device, coupled to said calculation circuits, for receiving R, G and B values of said three primary colors of said pixel and said gain values, and adjusting said R, G and B values of said pixel according to said first, second and third gain values to output the adjusted R, G and B values.
8. The luminance correction circuit as recited in claim 7, wherein said synthesizing device further comprises:
a first multiplier, receiving said first, said second and said third gain values so as to output a final gain value;
a second multiplier, receiving said R value of said pixel and said final gain value so as to output a first output value;
a third multiplier, receiving said G value of said pixel and said final gain value so as to output a second output value; and
a fourth multiplier, receiving said B value of said pixel and said final gain value so as to output a third output value,
wherein said first, said second and said third output values construct a corrected pixel by said luminance correction circuit.
9. The luminance correction circuit as recited in claim 8, further comprises:
a first clamper, receiving said first output value so as to output a first clamped value;
a second clamper, receiving said second output value so as to output a second clamped value; and
a third clamper, receiving said third output value so as to output a third clamped value.

selectively initiating a first mode location determination process using a location determining device based, at least in part, on a determination that an item is not substantially stationary; and
selectively initiating at least a second mode location determination process using said location determining device based, at least in part, on determination that said item is substantially stationary;
wherein the second mode location determination process comprises using at least one coherent integration period that is longer than a longest coherent integration period of the first mode location determination process.
2. The method as recited in claim 1, wherein said location determining device comprises a satellite positioning system (SPS) receiver.
3. The method as recited in claim 1, wherein said first mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having a total signal integration period of 32 seconds or less.
4. The method as recited in claim 3, wherein said first mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having a total signal integration period comprising a plurality of coherent integration periods of which no coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms.
5. The method as recited in claim 1, wherein said second mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having the total signal integration period that is greater than 32 seconds.
6. The method as recited in claim 1, wherein said second mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having the total signal integration period comprising a plurality of coherent integration periods of which at least one coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms.
7. The method as recited in claim 1, and further comprising:
determining that said item is substantially stationary based, at least in part, on item identifying information.
8. The method as recited in claim 7, wherein said item identifying information is stored in a programmable memory.
9. The method as recited in claim 1, and further comprising;
determining that said item is substantially stationary based, at least in part, on detected motion information.
10. The method as recited in claim 9, wherein determining that said item is substantially stationary based, at least in part, on said detected motion information comprises generating said detected motion information using a detection circuit attached to said item.
11. The method as recited in claim 10, wherein said detection circuit comprises at least one motion detection device comprising at least one of an accelerometer, a magnetometer, a gyroscope, an odometer, a speedometer, a wheel sensor, a radar, andor a sonar.
12. The method as recited in claim 1, further comprising:
determining location information associated with a determined location of said item using said location determining device; and
transmitting at least a portion of said location information in a signal through at least one communication link comprising at least one of a wired communication link andor a wireless communication link.

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein selectively initiating at least said second mode location determination process using said location determining device based, at least in part, on determination that said item is substantially stationary further comprises selectively initiating a plurality of mode location determination processes.
14. The method as recited in claim 13, further comprising establishing a location determination based, at least in part, on location information associated with at least a portion of said plurality of mode location determination processes.
15. An apparatus comprising:
means for determining if an item is substantially stationary; and
means for determining a location of said item; and
means for selectively initiating at least one of a plurality of location determination processes for said means for determining said location of said item, said plurality of location determination processes comprising at least a first mode location determination process and a second mode location determination process, wherein said means for selectively initiating said at least one of said plurality of location determination processes initiates said first mode location determination process if said item is determined to not be substantially stationary, and initiates at least said second mode location determination process if said item is determined to be substantially stationary, wherein the second mode location determination process comprises using at least one coherent integration period that is longer than a longest coherent integration period of the first mode location determination process.
16. The apparatus as recited in claim 15, wherein:
said first mode location determination process comprises a satellite positioning system (SPS) signal search operation having a total signal integration period of 32 seconds or less, and
said second mode location determination process comprises an extended satellite positioning system (SPS) signal search operation having the total signal integration period that is greater than 32 seconds.
17. The apparatus as recited in claim 15, wherein;
said first mode location determination process comprises a satellite positioning system (SPS) signal search operation having a total signal integration period comprising a plurality of coherent integration periods of which no coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms, and
said second mode location determination process comprises an extended satellite positioning system (SPS) signal search operation having the total signal integration period comprising a plurality of extended coherent integration periods of which at least one extended coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms in length.
18. The apparatus as recited in claim 15, wherein said means for determining if said item is said substantially stationary is adapted to determine if said item is said substantially stationary based, at least in part, on at least one type of information comprising at least one of item identifying information andor detected motion information.
19. The apparatus as recited in claim 15, wherein said means for determining said location of said item is adapted to establish location information for said item, and the apparatus further comprises:
means for transmitting at least a portion of said location information in a signal through at least one communication link comprising at least one of a wired communication link andor a wireless communication link.

The apparatus as recited in claim 15, wherein said means for determining said location of said item determines said location of said item based, at least in part, using at least a portion of location information associated with at least two of said plurality of mode location determination processes.
21. A system comprising:
at least one item; and
a location determining device attached to said at least one item, said location determining device comprising a detection circuit adapted to determine at least if said item is substantially stationary, a satellite positioning system (SPS) receiver, and a control circuit operatively coupled to said detection circuit and said SPS receiver and adapted to selectively initiate a first mode location determination process using said SPS receiver if said item is not substantially stationary, and selectively initiate at least a second mode location determination process using said SPS receiver if said item is substantially stationary, wherein the second mode location determination process comprises using at least one coherent integration period that is longer than a longest coherent integration period of the first mode location determination process.
22. The system as recited in claim 21, wherein:
said first mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having a total signal integration period of 32 seconds or less, and
said second mode location determination process comprises the signal search operation having the total signal integration period greater than 32 seconds.
23. The system as recited in claim 21, wherein:
said first mode location determination process comprises a signal search operation having a total signal integration period comprising a plurality of coherent integration periods of which no coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms, and
said second mode location determination process comprises the signal search operation having the total signal integration period comprising a plurality of extended coherent integration periods of which at least one extended coherent integration period exceeds 80 ms.

The system as recited in claim 21, wherein said SPS receiver is adapted to establish location information for said item, and said location determining device further comprises a transmitter operatively coupled to at least said control circuit and adapted to transmit at least a portion of said location information in a signal through at least one communication link comprising at least one of a wired communication link andor a wireless communication link.
25. The system as recited in claim 21, wherein said control circuit is adapted to selectively initiate a plurality of mode location determination processes using said SPS receiver if said item is determined to be substantially stationary.

The system as recited in claim 25, said location determining device further comprising a location detector coupled to said SPS receiver and adapted to establish a location determination based, at least in part, on at least a portion of location information for said item associated with at least a portion of said plurality of mode location determination processes.
27. The system as recited in claim 21, and further comprising;
a detection circuit attached to at least one of said item or said location determining device, said detection circuit being adapted to determine if said item is substantially stationary or is not substantially stationary based, at least in part, on item identifying information.
28. The system as recited in claim 27, wherein said detection circuit comprises a programmable memory adapted to store said item identifying information.
29. The system as recited in claim 27, wherein said detection circuit comprises at least one motion detection device, said at least one motion detection device being adapted to generate said detected motion information.
30. The system as recited in claim 29, wherein said at least one motion detection device comprises at least one of an accelerometer, a magnetometer, a gyroscope, an odometer, a speedometer, a wheel sensor, a radar, and a sonar.
31. A computer readable medium comprising computer implementable instructions stored thereon, which if implemented adapt one or more processing units to:
selectively initiate a first mode location determination process using a location determining device based, at least in part, on a determination that an item is not substantially stationary; and
selectively initiate at least a second mode location determination process using said location determining device based, at least in part, on determination that said item is substantially stationary;
wherein the second mode location determination process comprises using at least one coherent integration period that is longer than a longest coherent integration period of the first mode location determination process.
32. The computer readable medium as recited in claim 31, wherein said location determining device comprises a satellite positioning system (SPS) receiver.

The computer readable medium as recited, in claim 39, wherein said further computer implementable instructions, if implemented, adapt said one or more processing units to determine that said item is substantially stationary based, at least in part, on said detected motion information comprises generating said detected motion information using a detection circuit attached to said item.
41. The computer readable medium as recited in claim 40, wherein said detection circuit comprises at least one of an accelerometer, a magnetometer, a gyroscope, an odometer, a speedometer, a wheel sensor, a radar, and a sonar.
42. The computer readable medium as recited in claim 31, comprising further computer implementable instructions stored thereon, which if implemented adapt said one or more processing units to:
initiate a determination of location information associated with a determined location of said item using said location determining device; and
initiate a transmission of at least a portion of said location information in a signal through at least one communication link.

1. A method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation, comprising:
forming a photoresist blocking layer on a substrate;
measuring a first thickness of the photoresist blocking layer at an arbitrary position on the substrate, the first thickness being a thickness of the photoresist blocking layer;
implanting a predetermined amount of ions into the photoresist blocking layer;
measuring a second thickness of the photoresist blocking layer at the arbitrary position, the second thickness being a thickness of a hardened portion in the photoresist blocking layer; and
determining blocking ability of the photoresist blocking layer with the first thickness for ion implantation based on the second thickness.

The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 1, wherein a prebaking process is performed to the substrate; a photoresist layer is formed on the substrate subsequent to the prebaking process; and an exposing and developing process is performed upon the photoresist layer to obtain the photoresist blocking layer.
3. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 2, wherein a prebaking temperature of the prebaking process is 10\u02dc120\xb0 C., and a time period of the prebaking process is 10\u02dc120 s.
4. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 2, wherein a photoresist layer is exposed at different positions using different exposing time periods to obtain photoresist blocking layers with different thicknesses.
5. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 4, wherein thicknesses of the photoresist blocking layers present a gradient change along a length direction or a width direction of the substrate.
6. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 1, wherein determining blocking ability of the photoresist blocking layer with the first thickness for ion implantation based on the second thickness comprises:
calculating a ratio of the second thickness to the first thickness; and
determining whether the ratio is smaller than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, wherein if it is so, the photoresist blocking layer with the first thickness is determined to possess the blocking ability for ion implantation, otherwise, the photoresist blocking layer with the first thickness is determined to not possess the blocking ability for ion implantation.
7. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 6, wherein the threshold value is any value in a range of 0.85 to 0.95.
8. The method of testing a blocking ability of a photoresist blocking layer for ion implantation as claimed in claim 2, wherein determining blocking ability of the photoresist blocking layer with the first thickness for ion implantation based on the second thickness comprises:
calculating a ratio of the second thickness to the first thickness; and

1. A head-up display navigation device comprising:
a data generating unit that generates navigation data by comparing current GPS position data with GPS route data provided from an external device; and
a light source unit that projects at least one of a horizontally mirrored image, a horizontally mirrored character, or a horizontally mirrored numeric value corresponding to at least part of the navigation data onto a windshield.
2. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, further comprising an output unit that reproduces a sound corresponding to at least part of the navigation data.
3. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, wherein the current GPS position data is provided from an external device.
4. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, further comprising a GPS receiver that receives the current GPS position data.
5. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, wherein the data generating unit compares the GPS route data with the current GPS position data to determine whether or not route deviation has occurred and generates a route re-search message including the current GPS position data upon determining that route deviation has occurred.
6. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, wherein the light source unit comprising:
a first light source module that is a dot-matrix type and projects the horizontally mirrored image;
a second light source module that is of a dot-matrix type and projects the horizontally mirrored character; and
a third light source module that is of a 7-segment type and projects the horizontally mirrored numeric value.
7. The head-up display navigation device according to claim 1, further comprising an external display unit that displays at least one of an image, a character, and a numeric value corresponding to at least part of the navigation data.
8. A head-up display navigation system comprising:
a server that generates GPS route data using departure point data, destination data, and previously stored road information data;
a mobile terminal that requests the server to generate the GPS route data and provides the GPS route data transmitted from the server to a head-up display navigation device; and
the head-up display navigation device that compares the GPS route data provided from the mobile terminal with current GPS position data to generate navigation data and projects at least one of a horizontally mirrored image, a horizontally mirrored character, or a horizontally mirrored numeric value corresponding to at least part of the navigation data onto a windshield.
9. The head-up display navigation system according to claim 8, wherein the head-up display navigation device compares the current GPS position data with the GPS route data to determine whether or not route deviation has occurred and provides a route re-search message including the current GPS position data to the mobile terminal upon determining that route deviation has occurred, and
the mobile terminal transmits the current GPS position data included in the re-search message as new departure point data to the server.
10. The head-up display navigation system according to claim 8, wherein the mobile terminal wirelessly receives updated content data from the server, and
the head-up display navigation device projects an image, a numeric value, or text corresponding to at least part of the content data provided from the mobile terminal.
11. The head-up display navigation system according to claim 8, wherein the head-up display navigation device processes at least part of data generated by an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) provided in a vehicle and additionally projects at least one of a horizontally mirrored image, a horizontally mirrored character, or a horizontally mirrored numeric value onto a windshield.
12. The head-up display navigation system according to claim 11, wherein the head-up display navigation device receives ECU data analyzed by an ECU data analyzer and converts the received data into at least one of a horizontally mirrored image, a horizontally mirrored character, or a horizontally mirrored numeric value and projects the converted data onto the windshield.
13. A method for implementing a head-up display navigation service, the method comprising:
comparing current GPS position data with GPS route data provided from an external device to generate navigation data; and
projecting at least one of a horizontally mirrored image, a horizontally mirrored character, or a horizontally mirrored numeric value corresponding to at least part of the navigation data onto a windshield.
14. The head-up display navigation system according to claim 13, further comprising:
comparing the GPS route data with the current GPS position data to determine whether or not route deviation has occurred and providing a route re-search message including the current GPS position data to the external device upon determining that route deviation has occurred.
