1. A terminal device including a radio unit which adopts code division multiple access (cdma), wherein
said radio unit including an RRC (Radio Resource Controller), and
said RRC starts cell re-selection in each predetermined cell re-selection cycle and when an in-zone cell remains unchanged before and after said cell re-selection, extends said cell re-selection cycle, wherein
said radio unit further including a measurement unit, wherein
said RRC outputs an in-zone cell monitoring start instruction to said measurement unit at the start of said cell re-selection and collates a reported in-zone cell received from said measurement unit and an in-zone cell obtained at the time of output of said monitoring start instruction to determined whether said cell re-selection cycle is to be extended, and
said measurement unit records a cell which becomes an in-zone cell for a desired period of time in response to said monitoring start instruction and counts the number of times when the cell becomes an in-zone cell to specify said reported in-zone cell based on the count result and send the obtained result to said RRC.
2. The terminal device as set forth in claim 1,
said radio unit further including a measurement unit, wherein
said RRC outputs an in-zone cell monitoring start instruction to said measurement unit at the start of said cell re-selection and collates a reported in-zone cell received from said measurement unit and an in-zone cell obtained at the time of output of said monitoring start instruction to determine whether said cell re-selection cycle is to be extended,
said measurement unit records a cell which becomes an in-zone cell for a desired period of time in response to said monitoring start instruction and counts the number of times when the cell becomes an in-zone cell to specify said reported in-zone cell based on the count result and send the obtained result to said RRC, and
said measurement unit reports, to said RRC, a cell counted as an in-zone cell a desired number of times or more as said reported in-zone cell.
3. The terminal device as set forth in claim 2, wherein
when there exists no cell which is counted as an in-zone cell a desired number of times or more, said measurement unit reports a cell monitored last in said desired period of time as said reported in-zone cell to said RRC.
4. The terminal device as set forth in claim 2, wherein
when there exists no cell which is counted as an in-zone cell a desired number of times or more, said measurement unit reports a cell counted most in said desired period of time as said reported in-zone cell to said RRC.
5. The terminal device as set forth in claim 1, wherein
said terminal device is a mobile phone.
6. The terminal device as set forth in claim 1, wherein
said terminal device is a digital camera.

1. A hydrogen gas storage tank that defines a tank cavity, the hydrogen gas storage tank comprising:
a composite layer comprising an epoxy resin matrix, a reinforcement, and a plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles in an amount sufficient to improve a fatigue resistance of the resin matrix by retarding microcracking;
a polymeric layer coupled onto said composite layer and in communication with said tank cavity; and
a protective outer layer coupled over said composite layer such that said composite layer is between said protective outer layer and said polymeric layer.
2. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the reinforcement comprises fibers comprising at least one of carbon or silicon dioxide-based glass.
3. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the epoxy resin matrix comprises a copolymer of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A, and wherein the plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles comprise poly(ethylene oxide-b-ethylene propylene).
4. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the epoxy resin matrix comprises a copolymer of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A, and wherein the plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles comprise poly(butylene oxide-b-ethylene oxide).
5. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 further comprising hydrogen gas in the gas storage tank at a pressure of 5,000 psi or greater.
6. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 further comprising hydrogen gas in the gas storage tank at a pressure of 10,000 psi or greater.
7. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 constructed and arranged in an application that subjects the hydrogen gas storage tank to fatigue and wherein the plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles provide the improved fatigue resistance.
8. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the polymeric layer comprises high-density polyethylene.
9. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the amount of the plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles is sufficient to toughen the resin matrix.
10. A hydrogen gas storage tank as set forth in claim 1 wherein the reinforcement comprises silicon dioxide-based glass fibers.
11. A method comprising the steps of:
providing a hydrogen gas storage tank that defines a tank cavity, the hydrogen gas storage tank comprising:
a composite layer comprising an epoxy resin matrix, a reinforcement, and a plurality of block copolymer vesicles, spherical or cylindrical micelles in an amount sufficient to improve a fatigue resistance of the resin matrix by retarding microcracking;
a polymeric layer coupled onto said composite layer and in communication with said tank cavity;
and a protective outer layer coupled over said composite layer such that said composite layer is between said protective outer layer and said polymeric layer, and
subjecting the composite layer to dynamic stresses.
12. The method of claim 11, wherein the dynamic stresses are applied from pressurized hydrogen gas within the gas storage tank.
13. The method of claim 11, wherein the step of subjecting the composite layer to dynamic stresses includes the repeated steps of filling and discharging the hydrogen gas storage tank.
14. The method of claim 11, wherein the dynamic stresses are applied from repeated thermal cycling.
15. The method of claim 13, wherein at least some of the repeated steps of filling include filling the hydrogen gas storage tank to a pressure of 5000 psi or greater.

1. An apparatus for printing an advertisement on a printout of a print job, said apparatus comprising:
a print job processing part configured to receive a print job through a network from an information terminal;
a dynamic advertisement selection part configured to select one of a plurality of advertisements stored in a database based on dynamic selection criteria, after said print job processing part receives the print job,
wherein said print job processing part causes a printing device to generate a printout of said print job and print the selected advertisement on at least a portion of a page of said printout after said print job processing part receives the print job.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said dynamic advertisement selection part weighs each advertisement according to a price paid by a corresponding advertiser for the posting of the advertisement, such that a higher-weighted advertisement is more likely to be selected than a lower-weighted advertisement.
3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said dynamic advertisement selection part associates each advertisement with a corresponding temporal period, and the selected advertisement is selected from a subset containing only advertisements associated with a specific temporal period.
4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said dynamic advertisement selection part associates each advertisement with a corresponding location, and the selected advertisement is selected from a subset containing only advertisements associated with a specific location.
5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein said specific location is one of a library, an educational institution, a transportation terminal, a kiosk and a place accessible to the general public.
6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said dynamic advertisement selection part associates the selected advertisement with a specific temporal period, the selected advertisement includes a coupon, and the coupon is applicable to purchase of goods or service related to the specific temporal period.
7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the selected advertisement includes a coupon and is printed at or from a specific location, and the coupon is applicable to purchase of goods or service at or near the specific location.
8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the selected advertisement includes a coupon and the coupon is printed along with a barcode at a specific location, and said barcode identifies the specific location.

The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the print job from the information terminal specifies a specific paper size, the printing device generates the printout on printing paper of a size larger than said specific size in which said print job is printed on a first portion of the printing paper corresponding to said specific size, and the selected advertisement is printed on a second portion of the printing paper corresponding to a remainder of the printing paper not occupied by said first portion of the specific size.
10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the printing device generates the selected advertisement on a back of the page of the printout.
11. A computer readable medium tangibly embodying a program of instructions executable by a computer, said program comprising:
a print job processing part configured to process a print job received through a network from an information terminal; and
a dynamic advertisement selection part configured to select, based on dynamic selection criteria, one of said plurality of advertisements stored in a database, after said print job processing part receives the print job,
wherein said print job processing part causes a printing device to generate a printout of said print job and print the selected advertisement on at least a portion of a page of said printout after said print job processing part receives the print job.
12. A printing system comprising:
one or more information terminals;
a database storing a plurality of advertisements;
a printing device; and
a print job processing part configured to receive a print job through a network from one of said information terminals, select one of said plurality of advertisements stored in said database based on dynamic selection criteria, after said print job processing part receives the print job, and cause said printer to generate a printout of said print job and print the selected advertisement on at least a portion of a page of said printout after said print job processing part receives the print job.
13. A method for presenting advertisement on a printout of a print job, said method comprising the steps of:
(a) receiving a print job submitted by a user of an information terminal;
(b) selecting one of a plurality of advertisements stored in a database based on dynamic selection criteria, after receiving the print job in step (a); and
(c) generating a printout of said print job through a specified printing device and printing the selected advertisement on at least a portion of a page of said printout after receiving the print job in step (a).
14. The method of claim 13, wherein each advertisement is weighted according to a price paid by a corresponding advertiser for the posting of the advertisement, such that a higher-weighted advertisement is more likely to be selected than a lower-weighted advertisement.
15. The method of claim 13, wherein each advertisement is associated with a corresponding temporal period, and the selected advertisement is selected in a specific temporal period from a subset of said plurality of advertisements, said subset containing only advertisements associated with the specific temporal period.
16. The method of claim 15, wherein said specific temporal period is one of a season, a month, a week and a day.
17. The method of claim 13, wherein each advertisement is associated with a corresponding location, and the selected advertisement is selected from a subset of said plurality of advertisements, said subset containing only advertisements associated with the specific location.
18. The method of claim 17, wherein said specific location is one of a library, an educational institution, a transportation terminal, a kiosk and a place accessible to the general public.
19. The method of claim 13, wherein the printing is free of charge to the user.
20. The method of claim 13, wherein the selected advertisement printed on said at least a portion of a page of the printout includes a coupon.
21. The method of claim 20, wherein the selected advertisement is associated with a specific temporal period, and the coupon is applicable to purchase of goods or service related to the specific temporal period.
22. The method of claim 20, wherein the selected advertisement is printed on said at least a portion of the page of the printout by said printing device at a specific location, and the coupon is applicable to purchase of goods or service at or near the specific location.
23. The method of claim 20, wherein the coupon is printed along with a barcode on said at least a portion of the page of the printout by said printing device at a specific location, and said barcode identifies at least one of the printing device and the specific location.
24. The method of claim 23, wherein when the coupon is redeemed the bar code is utilized to compile exposure rate information.
25. The method of claim 13, wherein the print job from the information terminal specifies a specific paper size, the printout is generated on printing paper of a size larger than said specific size, said print job is printed on a first portion of the printing paper, and the selected advertisement is printed on a second portion of the printing paper, said first portion corresponding to said specific size, and said second portion corresponding to a remainder of the printing paper not occupied by said first portion of the specific size.
26. The method of claim 13, wherein the selected advertisement is printed on a back of the page of the printout.
27. The method of claim 13, wherein the selected advertisement is selected based on a classification of the user.

1. A macro photographic method for creating focus stacked images, comprising:
(A) providing a camera with a macro lens, and a specimen;
(B) taking a series of photos of the specimen at a plurality of locations along a static line of focus of the camera by translating the specimen along the static line of focus and not translating the camera;
(C) forming a focus stacked image of the series of photos;
(D) rotating the specimen a selected angular amount around a first axis that is perpendicular to the static line of focus of the camera;
(E) taking a second series of photos of the specimen at a plurality of locations along the static line of focus; and
(F) forming a second focus stacked image of the second series of photos.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising,
(G) repeating steps (D)-(F) to thereby create a plurality of focus stacked images corresponding to respective angular positions of the specimen around the first axis.
3. The method of claim 2, further comprising,
(H) rotating the specimen a selected angular amount around a second axis that is perpendicular to both the first axis and the static line of focus of the camera;
(I) taking a third series of photos of the specimen at a plurality of locations along the static line of focus; and
(J) forming a third focus stacked image of the third series of photos.
4. The method of claim 3, further comprising,
(K) repeating steps (H)-(J) to thereby create a plurality of focus stacked images corresponding to respective angular positions of the specimen around the second axis.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein step (G) is repeated until the specimen has been rotated 360 degrees around the first axis and step (K) is repeated until the specimen has been rotated 360 degrees around the second axis to thereby create focus stacked images of the entire surface area of the specimen.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein a pair of sequential focus stacked images are combined to form a cross-eyed stereo image.
7. The method of claim 5, wherein the focus stacked images corresponding to one of the first and second axes are combined to form a three-dimensional image.
8. The method of claim 5, wherein the focus stacked images corresponding to both the first and the second axis are combined to form a UV map of the specimen.
9. The method of claim 1, wherein steps (B) and (E) include illuminating the specimen indirectly with a camera flash.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein steps (B) and (E) include shielding the specimen from direct illumination from the camera flash.
11. The method of claim 9, wherein steps (B) and (E) include translating the camera flash with the specimen.
12. The method of claim 3, wherein steps (D) and (H) include maintaining the specimen in substantially a same spatial location.
