What is claimed is:

1. A connector apparatus comprising:
a first housing having at least one cam follower;
at least one first electrode provided in said first housing;
a second housing including a fit-on portion that covers a portion of said first housing when the second housing is mated with said first housing;
at least one second electrode provided in said second housing;
a slide lever capable of moving linearly between an initial position and a fit-on position in a direction substantially orthogonal to a direction in which said second housing fits on said first housing, the slide lever including at least one cam groove, wherein said at least one first electrode and said at least one second electrode are connected to each other, with said fit-on portion being fitted on said first housing owing to a cam operation performed by cooperation of said at least one cam groove and said at least one cam follower, by moving said slide lever to the fit-on position;
at least one first guide provided on an outer side surface of said first housing; and
at least one second guide provide on an inner side surface of said fit-on portion,
wherein the at least one first guide and the at least one second guide do not engage each other at an unmatching position of said second housing in which a front leading end portion of said second housing contacts a front base portion of said first housing and at a matching position in which an entrance of said at least one cam groove matches with said at least one cam follower, and the at least one first guide and the at least one second guide engage each other during movement of said second housing from said unmatching position to said matching position to thereby guide said second housing.
2. A connector apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said at least one first guide includes a leading portion that guides said at least one cam follower into said entrance of said at least one cam groove and guides said second housing in an oblique direction with respect to the direction of movement of said slide lever during a movement of said second housing from a position before said matching position to said matching position.
3. A connector apparatus according to claim 2, further comprising a leading surface formed on a front edge of a lower end of the first housing, wherein the leading surface assists the leading portion in guiding said second housing in an oblique direction with respect to the direction of movement of said slide lever during the movement of said second housing from a position before said matching position to said matching position, the leading surface being provided at a position spaced from the leading portion in a direction in which said second housing moves between said unmatching position and said matching position.
4. A connector apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a direction of said second housing as said second housing moves from said unmatching position to said matching position is the same as a direction of said slide lever as said side lever moves from said initial position to said fit-on position.
5. A connector apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the connector apparatus is a breaker apparatus, and wherein:
the at least one first electrode comprises at least two first electrodes; and
the at least one second electrode electrically connects the at least two first electrodes to each other when the slide lever is moved to the fit-on position.

processing the plurality of distinct data sets to identify one or more respective data sets being indicative of media content;
filtering the one or more respective data sets based on a type of media content indicated by the one or more respective data sets; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the filtering.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving content posted to the social network and associated with the user profile comprises receiving one or more of a post to the social network, an update to a post of the social network and a status message associated with a given user profile.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein filtering the one or more respective data sets based on the type of media content indicated by the one or more respective data sets comprises filtering based on one or more of information indicating music, a television show, a movie, and a book.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein filtering the one or more respective data sets based on the type of media content indicated by the one or more respective data sets comprises:
comparing the content of the one or more respective data sets with stored information so as to identify media associated with the one or more data sets.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein filtering the one or more respective data sets based on the type of media content indicated by the one or more respective data sets comprises:
providing the one or more respective data sets to a search engine; and
receiving results from the search engine.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the filtering comprises grouping the content into respective group data sets.
7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
processing the content based on a network origin of the content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the network origin of the content.
8. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
processing the content based on a contributing application of the posted content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the contributing application of the posted content.
9. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
processing the content based on a media type of the posted content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the media type of the posted content.
10. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
processing the content based on text of the posted content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the text of the posted content.
11. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
processing the content based on an originating device type used to provide the posted content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the content in an order based on the originating device type used to provide the posted content.
12. The method of claim 1, further comprising filtering the one or more respective data sets based on a priority associated with designated related users of the social network, wherein a given designed related user is associated with a type of media content.
13. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying within the social network for the user profile the content in the order based on the filtering.
14. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving content posted to multiple social networks;
filtering the content posted to the multiple social networks based on a type of media content indicated; and
providing a display of aggregated content posted to the multiple social networks in an order based on the filtering.
15. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving a selection of a predetermined filter from a group of predetermined filters, wherein a given predetermined filter is configured to process content based on one or more of a source application of the content, a media type of the content, and keywords of the content; and
filtering the one or more respective data sets using the predetermined filter.
16. A method comprising:
receiving content posted to a social network and associated with a user profile, wherein the social network comprises a network of users that are related via one or more relationships indicating a type of connection between respective users, and wherein the content posted to the social network includes a plurality of distinct data sets;
processing the plurality of distinct data sets to identify one or more respective data sets being indicative of media content;
providing content of the one or more respective data sets to a content identification system;
receiving from the content identification system information associated with an identity of the content; and
providing within the social network for the user profile the information associated with the identity of the content.
17. The method of claim 16, wherein the content includes a sample of a media stream being rendered by a media rendering source, and wherein the method further comprises:
receiving from the content identification system information indicating an identity of a recording corresponding to the sample;
providing within the social network for the user profile the information indicating the identity of the recording.
18. The method of claim 16, wherein the content includes lyrics of a song, and wherein the method further comprises:
receiving from the content identification system a sample of media corresponding to the song;
providing within the social network for the user profile the sample of the media.
19. The method of claim 16, wherein receiving from the content identification system the information associated with the identity of the content comprises receiving one or more of an identity of the content, a media sample of the content, and lyrics of the content.
20. The method of claim 16,
wherein receiving from the content identification system the information associated with the identity of the content comprises receiving a sample of media content associated with the identity of the content; and
wherein providing within the social network for the user profile the information associated with the identity of the content comprises providing the sample of media content as a post in the social network for the user profile.

What is claimed is:

1. An electronic control unit for automatically activating a parking brake in a motor vehicle startable without a mechanical key, wherein said electronic control unit automatically activates the parking brake in dependence on at least one specified operating parameter of the motor vehicle, said operating parameter for the automatic activation of the parking brake being a shutting-off of an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle.
2. The electronic control unit according to claim 1, wherein said electronic control unit includes means for arbitrarily preventing an automatic activation of the parking brake, said means being arbitrarily triggerable by a user of the motor vehicle.
3. The electronic control unit according to claim 2, wherein said means for arbitrarily preventing comprises a key button, connected with said electronic control unit, said key button being directly manually actuatable in the form of an OFF switch for arbitrarily preventing the automatic activation of the parking brake.
4. The electronic control unit according to claim 2, further comprising:
an electronic authorization verification device having a wireless code transmission operatively arranged in the motor vehicle to start the motor vehicle; and
wherein said means for arbitrarily preventing comprises a holding shaft in which the authorization verification device is inserted for triggering arbitrarily the prevention of the automatic activation of the parking brake.
5. The electronic control unit according to claim 3, further comprising:
an electronic authorization verification device having a wireless code transmission operatively arranged in the motor vehicle to start the motor vehicle; and
wherein said means for arbitrarily preventing comprises a holding shaft in which the authorization verification device is inserted for triggering arbitrarily the prevention of the automatic activation of the parking brake.
6. A method for automatically activating a parking brake in a motor vehicle startable without a mechanical key, the method comprising the acts of:
determining an operating mode in which an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle is being shut-off; and
automatically activating the parking brake in dependence on the determined operating mode, said parking brake being automatically activated when the internal combustion engine is being shut-off.
7. The method according to claim 6, further comprising the act of preventing arbitrarily an automatic activation of the parking brake.
8. The method according to claim 7, wherein said act of preventing arbitrarily the automatic activation of the parking brake comprises the act of directly manually actuating an OFF switch in the form of a key button for triggering arbitrarily the prevention of the automatic activation of the parking brake.
9. The method according to claim 7, wherein the act of preventing arbitrarily the automatic activation of the parking brake comprises the act of inserting an authorization verification device having a wireless code transmission into a holding shaft in the motor vehicle, said inserting act triggering arbitrarily the prevention of the automatic activation of the parking brake.

1. A method of adjusting the playback of audio information, comprising:
playing a set of audio tracks;
retrieving a set of composition rules;
receiving user activity information from at least one sensor configured to detect movements of a user and determining a user activity level from the user activity information;
determining a target song intensity corresponding to the user activity level; and
controlling the set of audio tracks to achieve the target song intensity.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein controlling the set of audio tracks includes muting and unmuting one or more audio tracks in the set of audio tracks.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein controlling the set of audio tracks includes controlling the relative volume of one or more audio tracks in the set of audio tracks.
4. The method according to claim 2, wherein the set of composition rules are used to determine the timing at which one or more audio tracks from the set of audio tracks are muted and unmuted.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein each audio track in the set of audio tracks corresponds to a different instrument.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the at least one sensor is associated with an article of footwear worn by the user.
7. A method of adjusting the playback of audio information, comprising:
playing a song, the song comprising a plurality of song segments that are sequential in time and the song further comprising a set of audio tracks that may be played simultaneously;
retrieving a set of composition rules;
receiving user activity information from at least one sensor configured to detect movements of a user;
determining a user activity level from the user activity information while a first song segment is being played;
finding a second song segment with a song state that matches the user activity level; and
using the composition rules to compose a musical transition from the first song segment to the second song segment.
8. The method according to claim 7, wherein using the composition rules to compose the musical transition includes adjusting the entrance and exit of one or more audio tracks from the set of audio tracks during the musical transition.
9. The method according to claim 7, wherein using the composition rules to compose the musical transition includes selecting a transition pattern.
10. The method according to claim 9, wherein the transition pattern is an attack pattern.
11. The method according to claim 9, wherein the transition pattern is a decay pattern.
12. The method according to claim 7, wherein the song state corresponds to an intensity of the song.
13. The method according to claim 7, wherein the set of composition rules includes a set of user preferences that can be set by the user.
14. The method according to claim 7, wherein the set of composition rules includes at least one rule determining when two audio tracks from the set of audio tracks can be played together.
15. The method according to claim 7, wherein the musical transition includes at least one segment from the plurality of song segments.
16. The method according to claim 15, wherein composing the musical transition includes adjusting the composition of audio tracks from the set of audio tracks in the at least one segment.
17. A method of adjusting the playback of audio information, comprising:
playing a song, the song comprising a plurality of song segments that are sequential in time;
receiving user activity information from at least one sensor configured to detect movements of a user;
determining a user activity level from the user activity information while a first song segment is being played;
finding a second segment of the song with a song state that matches the user activity level;
retrieving a universal transition segment, wherein the universal transition segment can be played in sequence with any of the plurality of song segments without creating abrupt musical transitions;
playing the universal transition segment after the first song segment; and
playing the second song segment after the universal transition segment in order to create a transition between the first segment and the second segment.
18. The method according to claim 17, wherein the universal transition segment is generated by analyzing the plurality of song segments.
19. The method according to claim 17, wherein the universal transition segment is configured for use with multiple different songs.
20. The method according to claim 17, wherein the universal transition segment is one of a plurality of universal transition segments, and wherein the method includes retrieving and using two or more universal transition segments from the plurality of universal transition segments.
