A portable workstation that can be installed in or removed from a work area by one person, said workstation comprising two walls that are hingedly connected to either side of an elongated member, said workstation having a foldable work surface with horizontal supports being hingedly connected to said two walls:
said workstation having two sections, a first section of said two sections being hingedly connected to one of said two walls, and a second section of said two sections being hingedly connected to the other of said two walls, the two sections being shaped and mounted to fit together at the same level when unfolded, the two sections each having an inner edge, the inner edges meeting to form a common boundary when the two sections are unfolded;
in a closed position, said two walls being substantially parallel to one another with said work surface being folded in an orientation substantially parallel to said two walls and being between said two walls, said horizontal supports also being folded to be substantially parallel to said two walls and being between said two walls, said workstation being fastened in the closed position;
in an operating position, said two walls being released from said closed position and being oriented substantially ninety degrees to one another, said horizontal supports for said work surface being pivoted away from the wall of said two walls to which they are connected to a position to support said work surface, said work surface being unfolded to rest upon said horizontal supports.
2. A portable workstation that can be installed in or removed from a work area by one person, said workstation comprising two walls that are hingedly connected to either side of an elongated member, said workstation having a foldable work surface with horizontal supports being hingedly connected to at least one of said two walls, said work surface having two sections, a first section of said two sections being hingedly connected to one of said two walls and a second section of said two sections being hingedly connected to the other of said to walls, the two sections being shaped and mounted to fit together to form the work surface when unfolded:
in a closed position, said two walls being substantially parallel to one another with said work surface being folded in an orientation substantially parallel to said two walls and being between said two walls, said horizontal supports also being folded to be substantially parallel to said two walls and being between said two walls, said workstation being fastened in the closed position;
in an operating position, said two walls being released from said closed position and being oriented substantially ninety degrees to one another, said horizontal supports for said work surface being pivoted away from the wall of said two walls to which they are connected to a position to support said work surface, said work surface being unfolded to rest upon said horizontal supports.
3. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 2 wherein said horizontal supports are hingedly connected to both of said two walls, with one or more said horizontal supports being connected to one of said two walls to support said first section and one or more of said horizontal supports being connected to the other of said two walls to support said second section.
4. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein said horizontal supports are hingedly connected to both of said walls and are located to support each section of said work surface.
5. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 4 wherein said two sections of said work surface meet alone a common imaginary line.
6. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 5 wherein said common imaginary line is linear and extends at an angle between said two sections.
7. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 6 wherein said imaginary line is located at a forty-five degree angle to a longitudinal axis of each section.
8. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein there is at least one foldable shelf with at least one support to hold said at least one foldable shelf in a horizontal position when said at least one shelf is in said operating position.
9. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 8 wherein said workstation has a latch and catch to hold said two walls together when said workstation is in a closed position.
10. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 8 wherein said workstation and said at least one shelf in a position substantially parallel to said two walls when said station is in a closed position or in an operating position.
11. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein, in said closed position, said workstation having a footprint that is substantially long and narrow with said length being longer than said width by at least a factor of five.
12. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 11 wherein said factor is at least a factor of ten.
13. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein there is a foldable peninsula one end of said work surface, said peninsula extending inward from the wall of said two walls to which it is hingedly connected, a free end of said peninsula being supported by a foldable leg.
14. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 13 wherein said peninsula meets said end of said work surface along a common line.
15. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein the two walls have at least one of wheels or casters spaced along a bottom thereof.
16. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 15 wherein the walls have legs thereon and the wheels or casters are located at the base of each leg.
17. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 1 wherein there is a horizontal support mounted on said elongated member to support said work surface.
18. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 17 wherein there are at least two horizontal supports hingedly mounted on each wall to support said work surface.
19. A portable workstation as claimed in claim 18 wherein one of said horizontal supports is located at an end of each wall and has a wheel or caster at a base thereof.

1. A test tube carrier for transporting test tubes in a transport system, said carrier comprising
a base having a recess made thereto for accommodating the bottom of a test tubevial; and
support members adapted to the carrier base for clamping a test tube inserted in said test tube recess and supporting the same, said support members being permanently affixed to said carrier base and comprising elongated portions with their free ends bent toward the vertical center axis of the carrier base and said upper ends providing a support surface for making supportive contact to the test tube, characterized in that wherein the support surface of said support members is arranged to extend to at least two different heights from the top level of the carrier base and said carrier base being assembled from two concentrically insertable parts leaving therebetween recesses into which the lower ends of said support members are permanently affixed.
2. The test tube carrier of claim 1, the bottom of said test tube recess is flat.
3. The test tube carrier of any one of foregoing claims, wherein the upper end of said support members include a hooked finger portion directed toward the vertical center line of the carrier base and then toward the carrier base.
4. The test tube carrier of claim 3, wherein said support members are made from a flat band material.
5. The test tube carrier of claim 3, wherein said support surface forms a horizontally lineal contact surface aligned perpendicular to the center axis of the test tube.

where, R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements,
M is at least one element selected from Zr, Ti and Hf,

q is a number satisfying 28\u2266q\u226640 atomic %,
r is a number satisfying 0.88\u2266r\u22667.2 atomic %,
s is a number satisfying 4\u2266s\u226613.5 atomic %; and
a metallic structure in which a composition region having an Fe concentration of 28 mol % or more is a main phase,
wherein a Cu concentration in the main phase is 5 mol % or more.
2. The permanent magnet according to claim 1,
wherein the metallic structure includes a Cu-M rich phase having 5 mol % or more of a Cu concentration and 3 mol % or more of a concentration of the element M.
3. The permanent magnet according to claim 2,
wherein a volume ratio of the Cu-M rich phase with respect to an entire phase structuring the metallic structure is in a range of 0.01 to 5%.
4. The permanent magnet according to claim 1,
wherein the main phase includes a Th2Zn17 crystal phase, and a grain boundary phase having a Cu concentration which is 1.2 times or more a Cu concentration in the Th2Zn17 crystal phase.
5. The permanent magnet according to claim 1,
wherein 50 atomic % or more of the element R is Sm, and 50 atomic % or more of the element M is Zr.
6. The permanent magnet according to claim 1,
wherein 20 atomic % or less of Co is replaced with at least one element A selected from Ni, V, Cr, Mn, Al, Ga, Nb, Ta and W.
7. A method for manufacturing a permanent magnet, comprising:
preparing an alloy powder having a composition represented by a composition formula:

where, R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements,
M is at least one element selected from Zr, Ti and Hf,
p is a number satisfying 10\u2266p\u226613.5 atomic %,
q is a number satisfying 28\u2266q\u226640 atomic %,
r is a number satisfying 0.88\u2266r\u22667.2 atomic %,
s is a number satisfying 4\u2266s\u226613.5 atomic %;
press-forming the alloy powder in a magnetic field to form a pressed powder body;
sintering the pressed powder body at a temperature TS satisfying TM\u201450<TS<TM, where TM is a melting start temperature (\xb0 C.) of a low melting M-rich phase in the alloy powder, to form a sintered body;
performing a solution treatment to the sintered body; and
performing an aging treatment to the sintered body after the solution treatment.
8. The manufacturing method of the permanent magnet according to claim 7,
wherein the sintered body after the aging treatment includes a metallic structure in which a composition region having an Fe concentration of 28 mol % or more and a Cu concentration of 5 mol % or more is a main phase.
9. A motor comprising the permanent magnet according to claim 1.
10. A generator comprising the permanent magnet according to claim 1.

2. The system of claim 1 wherein one of the applications comprises a voice mail application.
3. The system of claim 2 wherein the voice mail application receives the input commands corresponding to the transport controls for browsing a list of voice mail messages.
4. The system of claim 2 wherein the voice mail application receives an input command corresponding to the transport controls for reviewing a recorded reply to a voice mail message.
5. The system of claim 3 wherein the input commands use at least one member of a set containing previous and next.
6. The system of claim 1 wherein one of the applications comprises a spreadsheet application.
7. The system of claim 6 wherein the spreadsheet application receives an input command corresponding to the transport controls for recording an annotation to a cell of the spreadsheet.
8. The system of claim 6 wherein the spreadsheet application receives input commands from the transport controls for reviewing a recorded annotation made to a cell of the spreadsheet.

26. The method of claim 25, wherein the application for one type of media content comprises a voice mail-capable application.
27. The method of claim 25, wherein the second application for the different type of media content comprises a spreadsheet application having annotations that use at least one member of a set containing visual, audible, and tactile content.
28. The method of claim 25, wherein the second application for the different type of media content comprises a word processing application having annotations that use at least one member of a set containing visual, audible, and tactile content.
29. The method of claim 25, wherein browsing the content using the transport controls further comprises using at least one member of a set containing a previous button and a next button.

selecting a voice mail message from a list of voice mail messages using transport controls that are independent of a voice mail application program; and
playing the voice mail message that was selected.
33. The method of claim 32, wherein selecting the voice mail message from the list further comprises using a previous button to step up the list of voice mail messages.
34. The method of claim 32, wherein selecting the voice mail message from the list of voice mail messages further comprises using a next button to step down the list of voice mail messages.

recording a reply to the voice mail played; and
sending the reply to the sender of the voice mail.
36. A method for reviewing voice annotations made to content in a computer system, comprising:
selecting content having voice annotations;
browsing the voice annotations made to the content using transport controls that are independent of a program that presents the content;
selecting an annotation for review; and
reviewing the annotation via the transport controls.
37. The method of claim 36, wherein browsing the voice annotations using the transport controls further comprises using a previous button to step up a list of voice annotations.
38. The method of claim 36, wherein browsing the voice annotations using the transport controls further comprises using a next button to step down a list of voice annotations.
39. A computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions for performing the method of claim 36.
40. A computer-readable medium having computer-executable components, comprising:
transport controls for inputting commands to navigate and access a plurality of different types of audible content; and
an operating system having a component operably coupled to the transport controls for receiving the input commands from the transport controls.
41. The computer-readable medium of claim 40, wherein the audible content comprises voice mail messages.
42. The computer-readable medium of claim 40, wherein the audible content comprises annotations made to a document.
43. The computer-readable medium of claim 40, wherein the audible content comprises annotations made to a spreadsheet.
44. A computer system for navigating and accessing media content, comprising:
means for launching one of a plurality of applications, each handling a type of media content;
means for browsing the content using the transport controls; and
means for playing a portion of the content using the transport controls.
45. A computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions, comprising:
launching one of a plurality of applications, each handling a type of media content;
browsing the content using the transport controls; and
playing a portion of the content using the transport controls.
46. The computer-readable medium of claim 45 further comprising skipping a portion of the content using the transport controls.
