1. A patterning apparatus comprising:
a guide unit for continuously guiding a flexible substrate, which has a photosensitive agent applied thereon,
a light source for irradiating beams on a section of the photosensitive agent, which has been applied on the substrate; and
a mask positioned between the substrate, which is guided by said guide unit, and said light source so that the beams are selectively transmitted to the photosensitive agent.
2. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said guide unit presents a curved surface over which the flexible substrate with the photosensitive agent passes while being irradiated by said light source.
3. The patterning apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the flexible substrate passes over a top point of said guide unit while being irradiated by said light source.
4. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a vertical section of the flexible substrate with the photosensitive agent is irradiated by beams of said light source which are approximately perpendicular to the vertical cross section.
5. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said guide unit is a roller having a cylindrical shape.
6. The patterning apparatus according to claim 5, further comprising:
an auxiliary guide unit located beside and spaced from said guide unit, so that the substrate is guided while being forced against said guide unit.
7. The patterning apparatus according to claim 5, wherein said roller is directly or indirectly driven by a driving motor to rotate in a same direction or an opposite direction as a movement direction of the substrate.
8. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:
a supply unit for supplying the substrate to said guide unit; and
a winding unit for collecting the substrate, which has been subject to exposure as it passes by said guide unit, wherein at least one of said supply and winding units provides driving power to move the substrate.
9. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said guide unit and said mask are installed on a frame.
10. The patterning apparatus according to claim 9, further comprising:
an alignment controller unit for controlling an alignment of said mask.
11. The patterning apparatus according to claim 9, further comprising:
an guide unit adjustment unit for controlling a position of said guide unit.
12. The patterning apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said light source emits x-rays.
13. A patterning apparatus comprising:
a supply unit for continuously supplying a flexible substrate, which has a photosensitive agent applied thereon;
a guide unit adapted to continuously guide the substrate, which is supplied from said supply unit;
a light source for irradiating beams on a section of the substrate;
a mask positioned between the substrate, which is guided by said guide unit, and said light source so that the beams are selectively transmitted to the photosensitive agent; and
a winding unit for collecting and winding the substrate, which has been subject to exposure as it passes by said guide unit.
14. The patterning apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said guide unit is fixed in its location.
15. The patterning apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the substrate is subject to exposure as it passes by a top point of said guide unit.
16. The patterning apparatus according to claim 13, wherein a vertical section of the substrate is subject to exposure as it passes by a top point of said guide unit.
17. The patterning apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said guide unit has a curved surface formed at least from a point at which the substrate contacts said guide unit from a supply unit side to a point at which the substrate is irradiated.
18. The patterning apparatus according to claim 17, wherein said guide unit has a flat surface formed in a predetermined region from the point at which the substrate is irradiated to a point at which the substrate leaves said guide unit to travel to said winding unit.
19. The patterning apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said guide unit and said mask are installed on a frame.
20. The patterning apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising:
an alignment controller unit for controlling an alignment of said mask.
21. The patterning apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising:
an guide unit adjustment unit for controlling a position of said guide unit.
22. A method of patterning a flexible substrate, which has a photosensitive agent applied on its surface, said method comprising:
supplying the flexible substrate, which has the photosensitive agent applied on its surface;
guiding the flexible substrate past a curved portion of a guide unit;
operating a light source to emit beams of light;
passing the beams of light through a mask; and
irradiating the beams of light, past through the mask, onto the photosensitive agent of the substrate, as the substrate passes by the curved portion of the guide unit.
23. The method according to claim 22, further comprising the step of:
collecting the irradiated substrate in a winding unit.
24. The method according to claim 22, wherein said step of irradiating the photosensitive agent occurs as the flexible substrate passes over a top point of the guide unit.
25. The method according to claim 22, wherein a vertical section of the photosensitive agent and substrate is irradiated, and the beams of light irradiate in a direction approximately perpendicular to the vertical section.
26. The method according to claim 25, wherein the mask is positioned parallel to the vertical section.
27. The method according to claim 22, wherein a period of time during which the beams are irradiated on the photosensitive agent, and hence the amount of irradiation, are determined by a speed control unit, which guides and moves the substrate.

1. Electric vehicle supply equipment, comprising:
an enclosure;
an electric vehicle supply circuit for providing a flow of current to an electric vehicle from a power source;
a charge circuit interrupting device located within the enclosure, the charge circuit interrupting device being arranged to interrupt the flow of current to the electric vehicle;
a grounding monitor circuit located within the enclosure, the grounding monitor circuit coupled to grounding conductors, the grounding monitor circuit having a grounding output signal;
a ground default detection circuit located within the enclosure, the ground fault detection circuit coupled to current carrying conductors, the ground fault detection circuit having a fault detection output signal;
a controller located within the enclosure, the controller coupled to the grounding monitor circuit, the ground fault detection circuit and the charge circuit interrupting device, where the controller is constructed and arranged to monitor the charge circuit interrupting device by providing a control signal to the charge circuit interrupting device; and
logic circuitry arranged to receive results from the charge circuit interrupting device, the grounding output signal and fault detection output signals and the control signal, and assert a close signal based upon the grounding output signal and fault detection signal.
2. The equipment of claim 1, further comprising a contact monitor circuit arranged to determine a state of the charge circuit interrupting device.
3. The equipment of claim 1, wherein the charge circuit interrupting device comprises a contactor circuit.
4. The equipment of claim 1, further comprising a power meter.
5. The equipment of claim 1, wherein the power meter is integral with the controller.
6. The equipment of claim 1, further comprising a network interface.
7. The equipment of claim 1, wherein the logic comprises a separate circuit.
8. The equipment of claim 1, wherein the logic is implemented in the controller.
9. The equipment of claim 1, further comprising a timer adapted to control the electric vehicle supply circuit.
10. The equipment of claim 9, wherein the timer is electrically coupled to the controller, the timer adapted to send a signal to the controller to enable the controller to control the charge circuit interrupting device by enabling or disabling the flow of current from the power source to the electric vehicle in response to the signal.
11. The equipment of claim 10, wherein the timer is adapted to enable and disable the electric vehicle supply circuit at a predetermined time.
12. The equipment of claim 10, wherein the timer is adapted and configured to enable the electric vehicle supply circuit to commence the flow of current to the electric vehicle during nighttime hours or hours with reduced electric rates.
13. The equipment of claim 10, wherein the timer is adapted to coordinate with a scheduling system.
14. The equipment of claim 10, wherein the timer sends an alarm.
15. The equipment of claim 13, wherein the scheduling system is adapted and configured to coordinate with one of a calendar utility and a portable communication device.
16. The equipment of claim 9, where the timer is integral with the electric vehicle supply circuit.
17. The equipment of claim 9, where the timer is implemented in software or firmware of the microcontroller.
18. The equipment of claim 9, further comprising a user interface for the timer.
19. The equipment of claim 18, wherein the user interface comprises an embedded server.
20. The equipment of claim 19, wherein the embedded server comprises an Internet web server.
21. The equipment of claim 9, wherein the timer is adapted to coordinate with an electric utility.
22. The equipment of claim 9, wherein the enclosure includes a timer interface for interacting with the timer.
