1. A method for updating song playlists based on received user ratings, comprising:
receiving information associated with songs in an initial playlist from a host device;
generating a rating interface for the initial playlist, the rating interface being associated with an image code;
sending the image code for the rating interface to the host device;
receiving one or more rating inputs from user devices, the user devices providing the rating inputs after accessing the rating interface through the image code;
analyzing the received one or more rating inputs from the user devices, the analyzing producing an adjusted playlist; and
transmitting the adjusted playlist to the host device, the host device providing for playing of songs in the adjusted playlist, the method being executed by a processor.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the information associated with the songs includes at least a song name.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the initial playlist identifies an order for the songs as defined at the host device.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein the adjusted playlist identifies a change to the order for the songs as defined at the host device.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more rating inputs include defining a new order for the songs in the initial playlist, as received from each of the user devices.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the analyzing of the received one or more rating inputs includes calculating a score for each of the songs in the initial playlist, the score for each of the songs being based on rating inputs received from two or more user devices.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the analyzing of the received one or more rating inputs further includes assigning a weight to particular user devices so that rating inputs from the particular user devices are given more or less significance as compared to other rating inputs from other user devices.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the analyzing of the received one or more rating inputs includes,
determining a song currently playing by the host device,
determining a next song to play as identified in the adjusted playlist, and
skipping the next song to play if the song currently playing is same as the next song to play.
9. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
continuing to receive the one or more rating inputs over time, the one or more rating inputs causing the analyzing to modify the adjusted playlist.
10. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
updating the rating interface to show the adjusted playlist.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein the updating of the rating interface occurs periodically over time, or after a threshold of rating inputs is received.
12. The method of claim 1, wherein the image code is a printable pattern.
13. The method of claim 12, wherein the printable pattern is image recognizable and is configured to access a link to a website that displays the rating interface.
14. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more rating inputs are received from the user devices located within a pre-determined range from the host device.
15. The method of claim 1, wherein the rating interface is defined by one or more user input fields.
16. The method of claim 15, wherein the rating interface further includes social network rating information about rating inputs or comments made by other users for the songs in the initial playlist, the other users being social network friends of a user whose user device is accessing the rating interface.
17. A apparatus for updating song playlists based on received user ratings, comprising:
an information receiving module programmed to receive information associated with songs in an initial playlist from a host device;
an interface generating module programmed to generate a rating interface for the initial playlist, the rating interface being associated with an image code;
an information transmitting module programmed to send the image code for the rating interface to the host device;
a user input receiving module programmed to receive one or more rating inputs from user devices, the user devices providing the rating inputs after accessing the rating interface through the image code;
an analyzing module programmed to analyze the received one or more rating inputs from the user devices to produce an adjusted playlist based on analyzing results,
wherein the information transmitting module is further programmed to transmit the adjusted playlist to the host device, the host device providing for playing of songs in the adjusted playlist; and
at least one processor configured to execute the information receiving module, the interface generating module, the information transmitting module, the user input receiving module, and the analyzing module.
18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the analyzing module further comprises a calculation module to be programmed to calculate a score for each of the songs in the initial playlist, the score for each of the songs being based on rating inputs received from two or more user devices.
19. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the user input receiving module is further programmed to continue receiving the one or more rating inputs over time, the one or more rating inputs causing the analyzing module to modify the adjusted playlist.
20. A computer readable non-transitory media having program instructions for updating song playlists based on received user ratings, the computer readable media comprising:
program instructions for receiving information associated with songs in an initial playlist from a host device;
program instructions for generating a rating interface for the initial playlist, the rating interface being associated with an image code;
program instructions for returning the image code for the rating interface to the host device;
program instructions for receiving one or more rating inputs from user devices, the user devices providing the rating inputs after accessing the rating interface through the image code;
program instructions for analyzing the received one or more rating inputs from the user devices, the analyzing producing an adjusted playlist; and
program instructions for transmitting the adjusted playlist to the host device, the host device providing for playing of songs in the adjusted playlist, the method being executed by a processor.

1. An air conditioner filter-changing system for changing an air filter located in an elevated return-air vent that has a vent door containing grill louvers, wherein said filter-changing system comprises:
a filter-grabbing device, said filter-grabbing device comprising:
a holding plate with a substantially flat top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of sides;
at least one tooth protruding from at least one side of said holding plate and aligned substantially planar with said top surface;
said at least one tooth being sized and shaped for insertion into at least one grill louver on said vent door and being capable of pulling said vent door open;
said at least one tooth also being sized and shaped for insertion between the filter media and support structure of an air filter; and,
a mounting means for mounting said filter-grabbing device to an extension pole, said mounting means being attached to the bottom surface of said filter-grabbing device.
2. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said filter-changing system further comprises a holding means mountable on said air return vent, said holding means creating a force that is configured to hold said vent door of said air-return vent closed and said force being configured to be overcome when said vent door is pulled away from said return-air vent.
3. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 2 wherein said holding means comprises at least one magnet.
4. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said at least one tooth is a plurality of teeth.
5. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said top surface of said holding plate is substantially rectangular.
6. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said holding plate of said filter-grabbing device further comprises a curved end at one of said plurality of sides.
7. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said filter-grabbing device comprises at least one kicker plate protruding at a downward angle from said holding plate, said at least one kicker plate protruding from at least one of said plurality of sides where said at least one tooth is located.
8. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said filter-grabbing device comprises a holding plate with at least one notch in at least one of said plurality of sides of said holding plate.
9. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said filter-grabbing device further comprises a frictionous material attached to said top surface of said holding plate.
10. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said filter-changing system further comprises an extension pole mountable to said bottom surface of said holding plate with said mounting means.
11. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 1 wherein said mounting means comprises at least one pivotable joint.
12. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 11, wherein said at least one pivotable joint is lockable.
13. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 11 wherein said mounting means comprises:
a first clevis mount attached to said bottom surface of said holding plate;
a dual-pivot linkage, said dual-pivot linkage having a first clevis and a second clevis mount oppositely facing and transverse to said first clevis, said first clevis being mateable with said first clevis mount;
a first clevis pin receivable through said first clevis mount and through said first clevis when said first clevis mount and said first clevis are mated;
a first clevis joint, said first clevis joint being formed when said first clevis pin is received through said first clevis mount and said first clevis;
a second clevis attachable to said extension pole, said second clevis being mateable with said second clevis mount;
a second clevis pin receivable through said second clevis mount and through said second clevis when said second clevis mount and said second clevis are mated; and,
a second clevis joint, said second clevis joint being formed when said second clevis pin is received through said second clevis mount and said second clevis.
14. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 13 wherein said second clevis is mateable with said first clevis mount
15. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 14 wherein said first clevis joint and said second clevis joint are lockable.
16. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 11 wherein said mounting means comprises:
a first half of a ratchet mount attached to the bottom surface of said holding plate;
a dual-pivot ratchet linkage, said dual-pivot ratchet linkage having a second half of a ratchet mount and a third half of a ratchet mount oppositely facing and transverse to said second half of a ratchet mount;
a first ratchet fastener receivable through said first half of a ratchet mount and through said second half of a ratchet mount when said first half of a ratchet mount and second half of a ratchet mount are mated;
a first ratchet joint, said ratchet joint being formed when said first ratchet fastener is received said first half of a ratchet mount and said second half of a ratchet mount;
a fourth half of a ratchet mount attachable to said extension pole, said fourth half of a ratchet mount being mateable with said third half of a ratchet mount;
a second ratchet fastener receivable through said third half of a ratchet mount and through said fourth half of a ratchet mount when said third half of a ratchet mount and said fourth half of a ratchet mount are mated; and,
a second ratchet joint, said second ratchet joint being formed when said second ratchet fastener is received through said third half of a ratchet mount and said fourth half of a ratchet mount.
17. The air conditioner filter-changing system of claim 16 wherein said fourth half of a ratchet mount is mateable with said first half of a ratchet mount.
18. A method of removing an air filter in an elevated return-air vent that has a vent door with grill louvers comprising:
mounting a filter-grabbing device to an extension pole with a mounting means;
extending said filter-grabbing device toward said elevated return-air vent;
orienting at least one tooth from said filter-grabbing device for insertion of said at least one tooth for insertion between at least two of said grill louvers;
inserting said at least one tooth between at least two of said grill louvers,
pulling said vent door from said elevated return-air vent with said at least one tooth inserted between at least two of said grill louvers;
removing said at least one tooth from between said at least two grill louvers;
inserting said at least one tooth between the filter media and the filter support structure of said air filter,
pulling said air filter from said return-air vent;
balancing said air filter on a holding plate of said filter-grabbing device; and;
bringing said air filter down from said elevated return-air vent.
19. The method of removing an air filter in an elevated return-air vent as recited in claim 18 wherein said step of removing said at least one tooth from between said at least two grill louvers further comprises forcing said at least one tooth from between said at least two grill louvers with a kicker plate.
