451. A method for providing tangible representation for charitable donations made in tribute to a deceased person in the form of a memorial gift that is displayed at a decedent’s funeral service comprising one or more of the following steps:
a) providing a tangible representation of a donation made in tribute to a deceased person in the form of a keepsakememento memorial gift when a donorhonoring acquaintance makes a contribution in honor of a decedent;
b) facilitating provision of a tangible representation of a donation in the form of a keepsakememento memorial gift when a donor makes a contribution in honor of a deceased person;
c) enabling a purchaser to place an order for the donation representative memorial gift, the order including a price that is paid by the purchaser;
d) providing one or more delivery service providers that enable delivery of the donation acknowledgement memorial gift product to a funeral service of the deceased at a funeral service location;
e) delivering a mementokeepsake memorial gift to a funeral service of the deceased so that the mementokeepsake memorial gift may be displayed prior to the conclusion of the funeral service andor given to a representative of the decedent;
f) facilitating delivery of the donation acknowledgement mementokeepsake memorial gift to a funeral service location of the deceased person so that the mementokeepsake memorial gift may be displayed prior to the conclusion of the funeral service andor given to a representative of the deceased person;
g) facilitating display of the keepsakememento memorial gift in a common location at the funeral service of the decedent.
452. The method of claim 451, wherein the memorial gift is representative of the charitable donation made in honor of the deceased.

The method of claim 451, where step \u201ca\u201d and step \u201cb\u201d are performed a plurality of times for multiple honoring acquaintancesdonors wishing to make charitable donations causing multiple tangible representations of the donation in the form of a mementokeepsake memorial gift to be displayed at the funeral service location prior to the conclusion of the funeral service.
454. The method of claim 451, wherein in step \u201cc\u201d the purchaser pays a fee, in addition to the donation, to the provider of the donation acknowledgement mementokeepsake memorial gift.
455. The method of claim 451, further comprising displaying the donation acknowledgement memorial gift mementokeepsakes of step \u201ca\u201d in a common location at the funeral service of a decedent.
456. The method of claim 451, wherein in step \u201cg\u201d the common location is a display and the donation acknowledgement mementokeepsakes are attached to the display.
457. The method of claim 451, wherein in step \u201cg\u201d the donation acknowledgement mementokeepsake is displayed with like donation acknowledgement mementokeepsakes.
458. The method of claim 451, wherein the keepsakememento donation acknowledgement memorial gift(s) andor display is given to the surviving family or a representative of the deceased following the conclusion of the memorial service.
459. The method of claim 451, wherein products customized for the method of the present invention are given andor offered for sale to the surviving family andor representative of the deceased to display, house, protect, andor store the keepsakememento gift(s).

A method of establishing a \u201cone-stop-shopping\u201d program for a person(s) wishing to honor a decedent with a donation tribute \u201cin lieu of\u201d or in addition to other memorial gifts whereby the donation is tangibly represented by a memorial gift product in the form of a keepsakememento gift that is displayed at a funeral service for the decedent comprising one or more of the following steps:
(a) (i) facilitating a donation to a charity, or
(ii) accepting a donation on behalf of a charity, or
(iii) confirming that a donation to a charity has been made, or
(iv) receiving a representation that a donation to a charity has been made; andor
(b) (i) advertising or otherwise making known availability of a service offering a mementokeepsake, the mementokeepsake being a tangible representation of a donation made in honor of a deceased person that is displayed prior to the conclusion of the funeral service of the decedent, or
(ii) providing a tangible representation of the donation tribute in the form of a keepsakememento memorial gift when a donor makes a contribution in honor of a deceased person, or
(iii) facilitating provision of a tangible representation of the donation in the form of a keepsakememento memorial gift when a donor makes a contribution in honor of a deceased person; and
(c) facilitating delivery of a mementokeepsake to a funeral service of the deceased person at a funeral service location so that the mementokeepsake may be displayed before the conclusion of the funeral service andor given to a representative of the deceased person; and
(d) receiving instructions to deliver; and
(e) advertising or otherwise making known availability of a service to deliver a mementokeepsake, the mementokeepsake being a tangible representation of a donation made in honor of the deceased, to a funeral service of the deceased person at a funeral service location so that the mementokeepsake may be displayed before the conclusion of the funeral service andor given to a representative of the deceased person; and
(f) delivering the mementokeepsake to a funeral service of the deceased person at a funeral service location so that the mementokeepsake may be displayed before the conclusion of the funeral service, the mementokeepsake being a tangible representation of the donation; and
g) facilitating display of the keepsakemementos in a common location at the funeral service of the deceased person; andor
h) displaying the keepsakemementos in a common location at the funeral service of the deceased person; and
i) providing a receipt as evidence of the donation transaction; andor
j) facilitating provision of a receipt as evidence of the donation transaction; and
k) providing a receipt as evidence of the keepsakememento memorial gift product transaction; or
l) facilitating provision of a receipt as evidence of the keepsakememento memorial gift product transaction.
461. The method of claim 460, wherein the step of facilitating a monetary transaction for the donation, the step of facilitating a monetary transaction for the form and the step of providing a receipt evidencing the donation are performed together.
462. The method of claim 460, wherein a single charge is made for the charitable donation and the cost of the tangible mementokeepsake and its delivery and display is part of the single charge.

a) making a donation to a charitable organization;
b) facilitating a monetary transaction for the donation;
c) representing the donation in a tangible form;
d) facilitating a monetary transaction for the form;
e) supplying the form; and
f) exhibiting the form at an event memorializing the decedent.
473. The method of claim 472, wherein the mementokeepsake carries information about the donation inscribed thereon, attached thereto, or accompanied therewith.

1) providing a place on the form for indicating the charitable organization to which the donation was made;
2) providing a place on the form for indicating the name of the decedent;

(1) (i) facilitating a donation to a charity, or
(ii) accepting a donation on behalf of a charity, or

(a) providing a website with:
(i) information about a mementokeepsake which is a tangible representation of a donation made to a charity by a user of the website in honor of a deceased person;
(ii) a list of charities; andor
(iii) a list of florists; andor
(iv) a list of funeral homes; andor
(v) a list of obituaries; andor
(vi) a list of delivery service providers; andor
(viii) a list of entities participating in the method of the present invention; andor
(vii) a list of keepsake merchants; and
(b) facilitating a donation to one of the charities on the list; and

e) delivering or facilitating delivery of the donation acknowledgment mementokeepsake to a funeral service location where the donation acknowledgment mementokeepsake is displayed;
f) providing or facilitating provision of at least one delivery service provider that enables delivery of the memorial gift product to a funeral service of the deceased person at a selected funeral service location;
g) enabling a purchaser to place an order for the memorial gift product through the delivery service provider, said order comprising a price that is paid by the purchaser, a first portion of the price paid including a donation to a charity and a second portion of the price paid including a delivery of a mementokeepsake by the delivery service provider to the selected funeral service location.

1. A case, comprising:
a shaft disposed at either one of a cover or a case body;
a shaft inserting portion substantially equal in length to the shaft and disposed at the other of said cover or case body, said shaft being inserted into the shaft inserting portion such that the cover turns with respect to the case body to open the case; and
urging means for urging the cover in an opening direction, a viscous material being disposed between an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the shaft inserting portion such that the cover is slowly opened with respect to the case body, wherein
an engaging projection is disposed at said shaft inserting portion and an engaged recess engageable with said engaging projection is disposed at said shaft to enlarge a contact area between said shaft and the shaft inserting portion via the viscous material, and
said viscous material is disposed between an outer peripheral surface of said engaging projection and an inner circumferential surface of said engaged recess to be turned on the axis with respect to said engaging projection.
2. The case according to claim 1, wherein said engaged recess is formed into a ring having a common axis with the shaft so as to allow the shaft to turn on the axis with respect to the shaft inserting portion.
3. The case according to claim 2, wherein said engaged recess is formed at the shaft so as to be fitted from a tip to a base in an axial direction of the shaft, and said engaging projection is formed at the shaft inserting portion so as to project from a back wall surface of the shaft inserting portion in the axial direction of the shaft.
4. The case according to claim 1, further comprising a penetration device that penetrates between the engaged recess and an outer peripheral surface of the shaft such that the viscous material is uniformly disposed with said engaged recess.
5. The case according to claim 1, wherein a shaft surface includes a recess formed by recessing the outer peripheral surface of said shaft inward in a radial direction such that a contact area between said shaft and the shaft inserting portion via the viscous material varies.
6. The case according to claim 1, wherein a lock piece configured to lock against an urging force of an urging member in an opening direction is disposed in a latch fitted to said case body.
7. The case according to claim 1, wherein said case body includes a frame having said shaft or the shaft inserting portion, and a casing fitting around the frame.

The case according to claim 1, wherein said cover includes a turn suppressing protrusion contacting the case body such that an opening motion of the cover is temporarily stopped at a predetermined angle, and the cover is opened in an opening direction when the cover is pushed in the opening direction.
9. A case, comprising:
a shaft disposed at either one of a cover or a case body;
a shaft inserting portion substantially equal in length to the shaft and disposed at the other of said cover or case body, said shaft being inserted into the shaft inserting portion such that the cover turns with respect to the case body to open the case; and
urging means for urging the cover in an opening direction, a viscous material being disposed between an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the shaft inserting portion such that the cover is slowly opened with respect to the case body, wherein
an engaging projection is disposed at said shaft inserting portion and an engaged recess engageable with said engaging projection is disposed at said shaft to enlarge a contact area between said shaft and the shaft inserting portion via the viscous material, and
a shaft surface includes a recess formed by recessing the outer peripheral surface of said shaft inward in a radial direction such that a contact area between said shaft and the shaft inserting portion via the viscous material varies.
