1. A stent having a frame element, the frame element comprising:
a first side wall section defined by at least two protrusions and a spacing between the protrusions;
a second side wall section opposing the first side wall section, the second side wall section defined by at least two protrusions and a spacing between the protrusions, wherein the protrusions of the first and second side wall sections are aligned in a manner such that a cut perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the frame element and traversing maximum point peaks of a protrusion of the first side wall section and a protrusion of the respective second side wall section provides for the widest width of the frame element; and
depots, including a therapeutic substance for delivery of the substance to a patient, formed between each protrusion of the first and second side wall sections.
2. The stent of claim 1, wherein the therapeutic substance is combined with a polymer.
3. A stent, comprising:
a first frame element having a side wall area, the side wall area having a series of bulges and spacing disposed between the bulges;
a second frame element having a side wall area, the side wall area having a series of bulges and spacing disposed between the bulges; and
cavities disposed in the first andor second frame element;
wherein in a compressed configuration of the stent, the bulges of the side wall area of the first frame element mate within the spacing of the side wall area of the second frame element, and the bulges of the side wall area of the second frame element mate within the spacing of the side wall area of the first frame element.
4. The stent of claim 3, wherein the first andor second frame element that includes the cavities has a width of about 0.002 inch to about 0.016 inch.
5. The stent of claim 3, wherein the cavities include a therapeutic substance disposed therein.
6. The stent of claim 3, wherein the cavities include a therapeutic substance and a polymer disposed therein.
7. A stent, comprising a frame element having an outer face, an inner face and a pair of first and second side walls extending between the outer face and the inner face, each side wall having an undulated area of alternating concave and convex regions, and cavities disposed in the outer face of the frame element in the portion of the frame element where the first and second sidewalls include the convex regions, wherein the concave regions of the first side wall are aligned with the concave regions of the second side wall, and wherein the convex regions of the first sidewall are aligned with the convex regions of the second side wall.
8. The stent of claim 7, wherein the portion of the frame element where the first and second sidewalls include the convex regions has a width of about 0.002 inch to about 0.016 inch.
9. The stent of claim 7, wherein the cavities include a therapeutic substance.
10. The stent of claim 7, wherein the cavities include a polymeric material and a therapeutic substance.

The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.

1. A computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a computer, perform a method comprising:
sending data packets of a group having a defined order over a communications network to a receiver;
receiving a request identifying the packets of the group that the receiver failed to receive;
resending the identified packets to the receiver, wherein the packets resent are only those identified by the request.
2. A medium as recited in claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:
storing the packets sent into a history buffer;
in response to a request, retrieving the identified packets from the history buffer.
3. A medium as recited in claim 1, wherein the method further comprises assigning an expiration time stamp to one or more packets in the group sent, where the one or more packets are irrelevant if not received by the receiver by the expiration time stamp.
4. A medium as recited in claim 1, wherein the defined order of the group of packets is sequential.
5. A medium as recited in claim 1, wherein the packets of the group are sequentially numbered.
6. A computing device comprising:
an interface to a communications network for sending and receiving data;
the medium as recited in claim 1.
7. A communications retry method comprising:
sending data packets of a group having a defined order over a communications network to a receiver;
receiving a request identifying the packets of the group that the receiver failed to receive;
resending the identified packets to the receiver, wherein the packets resent are only those identified by the request.
8. A method as recited in claim 7 further comprising:
storing the packets sent into a history buffer;
in response to a request, retrieving the identified packets from the history buffer.
9. A method as recited in claim 7 further comprising assigning an expiration time stamp to one or more packets in the group sent, where the one or more packets are irrelevant if not received by the receiver by the expiration time stamp.
10. A method as recited in claim 7, wherein the defined order of the group of packets is sequential.
11. A method as recited in claim 7, wherein the packets of the group are sequentially numbered.
12. A computer comprising one or more computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the computer, perform the method as recited in claim 7.
