1. An ultrasonic endoscope comprising
an insertion portion comprising:
an angle part;
a distal hard part;
a cylindrical body that connects the angle part and the distal hard part;
an ultrasonic transducer attaching portion formed annularly;
an endoscopic observation section attaching portion including a lighting portion and an observation portion, the lighting portion and the observation portion passing through an inside of the ultrasonic transducer attaching portion and facing a front edge surface of the distal hard part;
an ultrasonic transducer in which a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators are arranged like a cylinder or like a circular arc so as to perform ultrasonic electronic scanning in a circumferential direction, the ultrasonic transducer being attached to the ultrasonic transducer attaching portion;
a first flexible board connected to a distal end side of the ultrasonic transducer attaching portion,
a second flexible board connected to a proximal end side of the ultrasonic transducer attaching portion,

wherein the first flexible board comprises connection parts to electrodes of ones of the ultrasonic vibrators,
the second flexible board comprises connection parts to electrodes of the other ones of the ultrasonic vibrators,
each of the first and second flexible boards comprises a predetermined number of wire connection parts,
wires are connected to each of the wire connection parts,
those of the wires connected to the second flexible board are extended as they are, and
the first flexible board or those of the wires connected to the first flexible board are extended toward the angle part through a hollow part of the ultrasonic transducer attaching portion.
2. The ultrasonic endoscope according to claim 1,
wherein the second flexible board is greater in number of the connection parts to the electrodes of the ultrasonic vibrators than the first flexible board.

1. An alarm clock comprising:
an animal figure having a torso and rotatably movable front legs, wherein said arms partially support said animal figure upon a surface;
a motor located within said animal figure and mechanically coupled to said front legs; and
alarm clock electronics and communicatively coupled to said motor;
wherein arming said alarm clock causes said motor to rotate said front legs in a first direction such that said animal figure moves into a position which simulates the animal figure sleeping; and
at a preset time, said motor rotates said front legs in a second direction opposite said first direction such that said animal figure rises into a sitting position, and a speaker produces an audible wakeup sound.
2. The alarm clock of claim 1 wherein said animal figure further has two hind legs, the two hind legs being rotatable.
3. The alarm clock of claim 2 wherein said rotatable hind legs are each biased toward a sitting position, with a bias force within a sufficient range to allow said hind legs to:
rotate due to said bias force into a sitting position when said animal figure moves to said sitting position; and
rotate against the bias force into a lying position when said front arms rotate in said first direction to cause said animal figure to assume said sleeping simulating position.
4. The alarm clock of claim 1 wherein said alarm clock electronics are disposed within a housing attached to a collar extending around a neck of the animal figure such that the housing simulates a pet tag hanging from a pet collar.
5. The alarm clock of claim 1 wherein said animal is a dog and said audible wakeup sound comprises barking.
6. The alarm clock of claim 1 wherein manipulating a part of the animal’s body activates an alarm snooze function.
7. The alarm clock of claim 5 wherein at said preset time, said animal figure also moves its head and wags its tail.
8. The alarm clock of claim 1 further comprising set buttons and an alarm arming switch, the arming switch being disposed in a separate location from said set buttons relative to said animal figure thereby preventing a child user from accidentally changing alarm or clock settings when arming the alarm clock.
9. An alarm clock comprising:
a doll having a movable anatomical feature;
an actuator located within said doll and mechanically coupled to said anatomical feature, wherein said actuator moves said anatomical feature to execute motions that cause said doll assuming a first body position associated with rest and a second body position associated with being awake;
alarm clock electronics attached to said doll and communicatively coupled to said actuator;
wherein arming said alarm clock causes said doll to assume said first body position, and at a preset time said doll assumes said second body position.
10. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein said rest is sleep.
11. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein said first body position associated with rest is selected from the group consisting of lying down, lying prone, and crouching.
12. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein said second body position associated with being awake is selected from the group consisting of sitting and standing.
13. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein said anatomical feature is an arm that moves forward and backward under.
14. The alarm clock of claim 9 further comprising a speaker for emitting a sound associated with being awake when said doll assumes said second body position.
15. The alarm clock of claim 14 wherein said speaker further emits a sound associated with rest when said doll assumes said first body position.
16. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein the doll further assumes a third body position for an identifiable period of time, the third body position being a transitional position between the first and second body positions.
17. The alarm clock of claim 9 wherein said alarm clock electronics are affixed to a neck of said doll.
18. An alarm clock comprising:
a doll having a neck and internal electrical components;
a housing;
means to affix said housing to said neck;
alarm clock electronics located within said housing and communicatively coupled to said electrical components.
19. The alarm clock of claim 18 wherein said means comprises a collar extending around said neck.
20. The alarm clock of claim 18 wherein:
said doll has a movable anatomical feature;
said internal electrical components comprise an actuator that is mechanically coupled to said anatomical feature, wherein said actuator moves said anatomical feature to execute motions that cause said doll to assume a first body position associated with rest and a second body position associated with being awake; and
arming said alarm clock causes said doll to assume said first body position, and at a time set by a user said doll assumes said second body position and produces an audible wakeup sound.
