1. A method of managing IP telephony sessions between a calling party client and a called party client, comprising:
displaying a call placement dialog on a user interface of the calling party client, the call placement dialog including fields for designating the called party client and a medium for a session;
transmitting a session invitation message to the called party client, the session invitation message identifying the calling party client and the designated medium;
receiving a first response from the called party client including a suggestion to use another medium; and
sending a second response to the called party client, in response to the receiving the first response, the second response indicating an agreement to use the another medium.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying an invitation dialog on the user interface of the called party client, the invitation dialog identifying the calling party client and the designated medium.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the invitation dialog includes user input controls for accepting the invitation, declining the invitation, and choosing other options.
4. The method of claim 1, further comprising launching an appropriate helper application for the another medium at each of the calling party client and the called party client.
5. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying an other options dialog on the user interface of the calling party client in response to user selection of an other options control.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein the other options dialog includes a user input control for designating alternative media for the session.
7. The method of claim 5, wherein the other options dialog includes a user input control for receiving a suggested alternative time for the session.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the receiving of the first response from the called party client is in response to the called party client receiving the transmitted session invitation message.
9. The method of claim 1, further comprising displaying an invitation dialog box on the user interface of the called party client, the invitation dialog box identifying the calling party client and the designated medium.
10. A computer program product for enabling a processor in a computer system to implement a system for managing IP telephony sessions between a calling party client and a called party client, said computer program product comprising:
a computer usable medium having computer readable program code means embodied in said medium for causing a program to execute on the computer system, said computer readable program code means comprising:
means for enabling the computer system to display a call placement dialog on a user interface of the calling party client, the call placement dialog including fields for designating the called party client and a medium for a session;
means for enabling the computer system to transmit a session invitation message to the called party client, the session invitation message identifying the calling party client and the designated medium;
means for enabling the computer system to receive a first response from the called party client including a suggestion to use another medium; and
means for enabling the computer system to send a second response to the called party client, in response to the receiving the first response, the second response indicating an agreement to use the another medium.
11. The computer program product of claim 10, further comprising means for enabling the computer system to display an invitation dialog on the user interface of the called party client, the invitation dialog identifying the calling party client and the another medium.
12. The computer program product of claim 11, wherein the invitation dialog includes user input controls for accepting the invitation, declining the invitation, and choosing other options.
13. The computer program product of claim 10, further comprising launching an appropriate helper application for the another medium at each of the calling party client and the called party client.
14. The computer program product of claim 10, further comprising means for enabling the computer system to display an other options dialog on the user interface of the calling party client in response to user selection of the other options control.
15. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the other options dialog includes a user input control for designating alternative media for the session.
16. The computer program product of claim 14, wherein the other options dialog includes a user input control for receiving a suggested alternative time for the session.
17. The computer program product of claim 10, wherein the means for enabling the computer system to receive a first response from the called party is configured to receive the first response in response to the called party client receiving a transmitted session invitation message transmitted via the means for enabling the computer system to transmit a session invitation message to the called party client.
18. The computer program product of claim 10, further comprising means for enabling the computer system to display an invitation dialog box on the user interface of the called party client, the invitation dialog box identifying the calling party client and the another medium.
19. A method of managing IP telephony sessions between a calling party client and a called party client, comprising:
receiving information from a calling party, the information including a designation of the called party client and a medium for a session;
transmitting a session invitation message to the called party client, the session invitation message identifying the calling party client and the designated medium;
receiving a first response from the called party client including a suggestion to use another medium, the receiving of the first response from the called party client being responsive to the called party client receiving the transmitted session invitation message; and
sending a second response to the called party client, in response to the receiving the first response, the second response indicating an agreement to use the another medium.
20. The method of claim 19, further comprising launching an appropriate helper application for the another medium at each of the calling party client and the called party client.
21. A computer program product for enabling a processor in a computer system to implement a system for managing IP telephony sessions between a calling party client and a called party client, said computer program product comprising:
a computer usable medium having computer readable program code means embodied in said medium for causing a program to execute on the computer system, said computer readable program code means comprising:
means for enabling the computer system to receive information from a calling party, the information including a designation of the called party client and a medium for a session;
means for enabling the computer system to transmit a session invitation message to the called party client, the session invitation message identifying the calling party client and the designated medium;
means for enabling the computer system to receive a first response from the called party client including a suggestion to use another medium, the means for enabling the computer system to receive a first response from the called party being configured to receive the first response in response to the called party client receiving a transmitted session invitation message transmitted via the means for enabling the computer system to transmit a session invitation message to the called party client; and
means for enabling the computer system to send a second response to the called party client, in response to the receiving the first response, the second response indicating an agreement to use the another medium.
22. The computer program product of claim 21, further comprising means for enabling the computer system to launch an appropriate helper application for the another medium at each of the calling party client and the called party client.

1. A projector system comprising:
a projector including an image projecting unit configured to project an image;
one or more input pens; and
a pen holder configured to house the input pens, wherein
the pen holder includes:
a pen detecting unit configured to detect whether the input pens are housed; and
a control unit configured to control the projector system, and
when the projector system receives power-off operation, the control unit defers power-off until the pen detecting unit detects that all the input pens are housed in the pen holder.
2. The projector system according to claim 1, wherein the control unit turns on a power supply for the projector when the projector system detects, with the pen detecting unit, that at least one of the input pens is taken out from the pen holder.
3. The projector system according to claim 1, wherein
the pen holder further includes:
an input operation unit configured to receive input operation; and
a pen lock mechanism configured to prevent the input pen from being taken out from the pen holder, and
when the input operation unit receives predetermined lock operation or unlock operation, the control unit sets the pen lock mechanism in a lock state or an unlock state.
4. The projector system according to claim 1, wherein the pen holder further includes an informing unit configured to inform, if the projector system detects, with the pen detecting unit, that at least one of the input pens is not housed in the pen holder when the projector system receives the power-off operation, a user to that effect.
5. A control method for a projector system including: a projector including an image projecting unit configured to project an image; one or more input pens; and a pen holder configured to house the input pens,
the control method comprising:
the pen holder detecting whether the input pens are housed; and
the pen holder deferring, when the projector receives power-off operation, power-off until it is detected that all the input pens are housed in the pen holder.
