1. A ballistic material for dissipating the kinetic energy of a moving object comprising a fabric which further comprises a shear thickening fluid intercalated into a fabric andor yarn wherein said shear thickening fluid (STF) remains in a fluid form, and wherein said shear thickening fluid comprises inorganic particles suspended in an organic or silicon based solvent, wherein said solvent comprises ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, a silicon oil or phenyltrimethicone or mixtures thereof; and wherein said particles are oxides, calcium carbonate, synthetically occurring minerals, naturally occurring minerals or a mixture thereof, and said solvent is environmentally stable and remains integral to said material and said suspended particles during service, and said STF is present in an amount from 0.13 grams to 6.3 gramsper gram of ballistic material; wherein said ballistic material contains aramid fibers, graphite fibers, nylon fibers, glass fibers or poly (para-phenylene terephthalamide) fibers.
2. The material as claimed in claim 1, wherein said particles are SiO2.
3. The material as claimed in claim 1, wherein said particles have an average diameter size of less than 1,000 microns.
4. The material as claimed in claim 1, wherein said particles have an average diameter size of less than 100 microns.
5. The material according to claim 1, wherein the material comprises one or more layers of said ballistic material and said one or more layers are a woven fabric.
6. The material according to claim 1, wherein the material comprises one or more layers of said ballistic material and said one or more layers are a nonwoven fabric.
7. The material according to claim 1, wherein the material comprises one or more layers of said ballistic material and said one or more layers are a knitted fabric.
8. The material according to claim 1, wherein said fibers are poly (paraphenylene terephthalamide).
9. A protective barrier comprising the material as claimed in claim 1, wherein the protective barrier is stowable vehicle armor, tents, seats, cockpits, used in storage and transport of luggage or used in storage and transport ammunition.
10. A body armor comprising the materials as claimed in claim 1.
11. A bomb blanket comprising the material as claimed in claim 1.
12. A protective clothing comprising the material as claimed in claim 1.
13. A tank skirt comprising the material as claimed in claim 1.

What is claimed is:
1. A plant package, comprising:
a floral grouping comprising a bloom portion;
a flexible wrapper constructed from a material comprising a waxy layer and a support layer, the waxy layer constructed from a sheet of waxy material and superposed upon a first surface of the support layer and connected thereto, and wherein the wrapper, when wrapped about the floral grouping, is less compressible about the floral grouping than a wrapper formed from the sheet of waxy material alone; and
wherein the wrapper is placed about the floral grouping such that the waxy layer is positioned adjacent the bloom portion forming a wrapper which substantially encompasses the bloom portion, the wrapper having an upper end and a lower end.
2. The plant package of claim 1 further comprising a quantity of a shredded material disposed within the wrapper and generally about the bloom portion of the floral grouping for further cushioning the bloom portion.
3. The plant package of claim 2 wherein the shredded material is further defined as comprising shreds having a waxy layer, and a support layer, the waxy layer comprising a waxy material connected to at least one side of the support layer.
4. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the floral grouping comprises orchids.
5. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is constructed from a transparent, translucent or opaque material.
6. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is further defined as constructed from a material having a thickness in a range of from about 0.1 mils to about 30 mils.
7. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is further defined as constructed from a material having a thickness in a range of from about 0.5 mils to about 10 mils.
8. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is further defined as constructed from a material having a thickness in a range of from about 1 mil to about 5 mils.
9. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the support layer of the wrapper is defined as constructed from a material selected from the group consisting of treated or untreated paper, cellophane, metal foil, polymer film, non-polymer film, cardboard, cloth, burlap, and laminations or combinations thereof.
10. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the material from which the wrapper is constructed further comprises a second waxy layer superposed upon a second surface of the support layer and connected thereto, and wherein the second waxy layer is constructed from a sheet of waxy material which is the same as the first defined waxy material or which is different from the first defined waxy material.
11. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is further defined as having a portion which is detachable via a detaching means.
12. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper has a bonding material thereon for bondingly connecting a portion of the wrapper together for holding the wrapper in a wrapped position about the floral grouping.
13. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the upper end of the wrapper is closable.
14. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the lower end of the wrapper is closable.
15. The plant package of claim 1 wherein both the upper end and the lower end of the wrapper are closable.
16. The plant package of claim 1 further comprising a bonding means placed about the wrapper for holding the wrapper in a bound position about the floral grouping.
17. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper further comprises holes therein for ventilation.
18. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is a sheet of material.
19. The plant package of claim 18 wherein the sheet of material has a bonding material on the waxy layer for bondingly connecting a portion of the sheet of material together for holding the sheet of material wrapped about the floral grouping.
20. The plant package of claim 18 wherein the sheet of material has a bonding material on the support layer for bondingly connecting a portion of the sheet of material together for holding the sheet of material wrapped about the floral grouping.
21. The plant package of claim 1 wherein the wrapper is a sleeve having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface comprising the waxy layer and an inner space surrounded by the inner surface into which the floral grouping is disposed.
22. The plant package of claim 21 wherein the sleeve is further defined as comprising as gusseted or sealed lower end.
23. The plant package of claim 1 wherein under ordinary handling conditions the wrapper substantially prevents damage to the bloom portion of the floral grouping by crushing.
24. A plant package, comprising:
a floral grouping comprising a bloom portion;
a flexible wrapper constructed from a material comprising a first waxy layer, a support layer and a second waxy layer, the support layer sandwiched between the first waxy layer and the second waxy layer, the first waxy layer superposed upon a first surface of the support layer and connected thereto, and the second waxy layer superposed upon a second surface of the support layer and connected thereto, and wherein the first waxy layer and the second waxy layer are each constructed from a sheet of waxy material, and wherein the wrapper is less compressible about the floral grouping than would be a wrapper formed from a sheet of the waxy material alone; and
wherein the wrapper is placed about the floral grouping such that at least one of the first waxy layer and the second waxy layer is positioned adjacent the bloom portion forming a wrapper which substantially encompasses the bloom portion, the wrapper having an upper end and a lower end.
25. The plant package of claim 24 wherein the wrapper has a bonding material on at least one of the first and second waxy layers for bondingly connecting a portion of the wrapper together for holding the wrapper about the floral grouping.
26. The plant package of claim 24 wherein the wrapper is a sheet of material.
27. The plant package of claim 24 wherein the wrapper is a sleeve having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface comprising the waxy layer and an inner space surrounded by the inner surface into which the floral grouping is disposed.
28. The method of claim 27 wherein the sleeve is further defined as comprising as gusseted or sealed lower end.
29. The plant package of claim 24 wherein under ordinary handling conditions the wrapper substantially prevents damage to the bloom portion of the floral grouping by crushing.
