1. A method of screening a catechin or antibody to determine whether the catechin or antibody has the same pharmacological effect as that of epigallocatechin gallate, which comprises the steps of
qualitatively or quantitatively determining the degree of binding of epigallocatechin gallate and the catechin or antibody to a full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells, determining that the degree of binding of the catechin or antibody to the full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells is higher than that of binding of the epigallocatechin gallate to the full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells, and determining that the catechin or antibody displaces the binding of epigallocatechin gallate to the full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells, wherein
displacement of the binding of epigallocatechin gallate by the catechin or antibody indicates that the screened catechin or antibody has the same pharmacological effect as that of epigallocatechin gallate, wherein the pharmacological effect of epigallocatechin gallate is a growth-inhibiting effect on cancer cells.
2. A method of screening a catechin or antibody to determine whether the catechin or antibody has the same pharmacological effect as that of epigallocatechin gallate, which comprises the steps of
making a competition between the binding of the epigallocatechin gallate to a full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells and the binding of the catechin or antibody to the full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells, and determining that the catechin or antibody displaces the binding of epigallocatechin gallate to the full length 67 kDa laminin receptor expressed on the cell surface of cancer cells, wherein
displacement of the binding of epigallocatechin gallate by the catechin or antibody indicates that the screened catechin or antibody has the same pharmacological effect as that of the epigallocatechin gallate , wherein the pharmacological effect of the epigallocatechin gallate is a growth-inhibiting effect on cancer cells.
3. The screening method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method is a method of screening an antibody.
4. The screening method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the method is a method of screening an antibody.
5. The screening method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the method is a method of screening a catechin.
6. The screening method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the method is a method of screening a catechin.
The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.
1. An image heating apparatus for heating an image formed on a recording material, comprising:
a rotary member which does not have any heat source in either itself or an inside area of said rotary member;
an opposing member for forming a nip portion in cooperation with said rotary member;
a heater which heats said rotary member from an outside of said rotary member;
a temperature detecting element for detecting a temperature of said heater; and
a controller for controlling an electrical power supply to said heater so as to maintain the temperature detected by said temperature detecting element at a target temperature,
wherein said rotary member heats the recording material being pinched and conveyed with the nip portion, and
wherein said controller changes a surface temperature of said rotary member from a first target temperature to a second target temperature higher than the first target temperature after a time LV has passed from a time when a leading edge of the recording material comes into the nip portion, wherein L is a distance from an area in which the nip portion on a surface of said rotary member is formed to an area to which said heater on a surface of said rotary member opposed, and V is a moving speed of a surface of said rotary member.
2. An image heating apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a film pinched by said heater and said rotary member, wherein said temperature detecting element detects a temperature of said rotary member through said film.
3. An image heating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the apparatus is mountable onto an image forming apparatus forming an image with toner having a plurality of colors.
4. An image heating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said controller starts supplying an electrical power to said heater, prior to the timing when LV is passed from a timing when a leading edge of the recording material comes into the nip portion.
