1. A fructose-containing refreshing drink composition for increasing the alcohol degradation capacity of the body, characterized in that it further comprises one or more components of the vitamin B complex as well as taurine.
2. A refreshing drink composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises fructose and vitamin B complex components in a weight ratio of 10:1 to 10,000:1, in particular from 100:1 to 5,000:1, particularly preferred 1,000:1.

A refreshing drink composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the components of the vitamin B complex are selected from the group consisting of vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, biotin, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, adenine, choline, adenosine phosphate, orotic acid, pangamic acid, carnitine, 4-aminobenzoic acid, myo-inositol, liponic acid andor amygdaline.
4. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises the components of the vitamin B complex in the following parts by weight, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of the dry substance: vitamin B1, 0.1-10, in particular 1; vitamin B2, 0.1-10, in particular 1.5; vitamin B6, 0.1-10, in particular 1.5, biotin, 0.01-1, in particular 0.1; niacin 0.1-100, in particular 10-30; pantothenic acid, 0.1-100, in particular 1-10; vitamin B12, 0.0001-0.1, in particular 0.001-0.01; andor folic acid, 0.01-10, in particular 0.1.
5. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it further comprises mineral substances, in particular magnesium andor potassium andor zinc.
6. A refreshing drink composition according to claim 5, characterized in that it comprises magnesium, potassium andor zinc in the following parts by weight, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of dry substance: magnesium, 10-1,000, in particular 100; potassium: 10-1,000, in particular 100; zinc, 0.1-100, in particular 1-10.
7. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it comprises amino acids, in particular L-glutamine andor L-arginine.
8. A refreshing drink composition according to claim 7, characterized in that it comprises L-arginine andor L-glutamine in the following parts by weight, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of dry substance: L-arginine, 20-2,000, in particular 200; L-glutamine, 10-1,000, in particular 100.
9. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it comprises caffeine, in particular 0.1-100, particularly preferably 10-50 parts by weight, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of dry substance.
10. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it comprises anthocyans, in particular 0.1-100, particularly preferably 10 parts by weight, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of dry substance.
11. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that it comprises 10-1,000, preferably 100, parts by weight of taurine, based on a total of 15,000-20,000 parts by weight of dry substance.

13. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that it comprises further vitamins, in particular vitamin C.

A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that it comprises further additives, in particular flavoring agents, preserving agents, coloring agents, antioxidants, electrolytes, enzymes, plant extracts, glycerolphosphates, acid regulators andor acidifiers, in particular fruit acids.
15. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that it comprises further sugars andor sweeteners.
16. A refreshing drink for increasing the alcohol degradation capacity of the body, characterized in that in addition to the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15 it further comprises a liquid foodstuff.
17. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that it is provided as a syrup.
18. A refreshing drink composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that it is provided as a dry substance.
19. A syrup for increasing the alcohol degradation capacity of the body, characterized in that it comprises a composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15.
20. A dry substance for increasing the alcohol degradation capacity of the body, characterized in that it comprises a composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15.
21. The use of a fructose-containing refreshing drink composition for increasing the alcohol degradation capacity of the body, the composition further comprising one or more components of the vitamin B complex as well as taurine.
22. The use according to claim 21, characterized in that the composition comprises fructose and vitamin B complex components at a weight ratio of from 10:1 to 10,000:1, in particular from 100:1 to 5,000:1, particularly preferred from 1,000:1.

1. A safety stirrup comprising:
a generally U-shaped mounting member, and
a generally oval foot support member that extends around a rider’s foot, such that when the rider’s foot is in the normal use position, the foot support member is supported within the generally U-shaped mounting member by at least one mounting comprising a releaseable connection between the generally U-shaped mounting member and the foot support member,
wherein vertically upward movement of the rider’s foot out of the normal use position causes vertically upward movement of the foot support member such that the at least one mounting releases the foot support member sufficiently that the foot support member can rotate in either direction until the foot support member is fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member.
2. A safety stirrup comprising:
a generally U-shaped mounting member, and
a generally oval foot support member that extends around a rider’s foot, such that when the rider’s foot is in the normal use position, the foot support member is supported within the generally U-shaped mounting member by at least one mounting having at least one projection,
wherein, during normal use, the at least one projection is located in a recess adjacent the ends of the U-shaped mounting member but vertically upward movement of the rider’s foot out of the normal use position causes the at least one mounting to release the foot support member sufficiently that the foot support member can rotate in either direction until the foot support member is fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member, the at least one projection moving in a respective recess and rotating in the same direction as the rider’s foot prior to the foot support member being fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member.
3. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 comprising at least one additional projection which, when the stirrup is in the normal use position, is received in a complementary shaped recess which restricts movement of the at least one additional projection to vertical and rotational movement.
4. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 wherein the at least one projection is located on the foot support and is received in recess(es) in the U-shaped mounting member.
5. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 wherein the at least one projection is located on the U-shaped mounting member and is received in at least one recess in the foot support member.
6. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 comprising a first projection located on one side of the foot support member, and a second projection located on an opposing side of the foot support member, each of the first and second projections being received in a complementary shaped recess in the U-shaped mounting member.
7. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 comprising one projection located on one arm of the U-shaped mounting member, and an additional projection located on the other arm of the U-shaped mounting member, each additional projection being received in a complementary shaped recess on the foot support member.
8. A safety stirrup according to claim 2, wherein at least one of the complementary shaped recesses includes an indentation in which an additional projection resides during normal use, and
wherein vertical movement of the rider’s foot out of the normal use position causes the additional projection to move out of the indentation, releasing the foot support member allowing the additional projection to move along a guide and the foot support member can rotate in either direction prior to the foot support being fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member.
9. A safety stirrup according to claim 2 comprising a biasing means to resist movement of the at least one projection in a respective recess.
10. A safety stirrup comprising:
a generally U-shaped mounting member, and
a generally oval foot support member that extends around a rider’s foot,
wherein when the rider’s foot is in the normal use position, the foot support member is supported within the generally U-shaped mounting member by at least two mountings, each mounting comprising a projection on the foot support member that in use is located in a recess adjacent an end of the U-shaped mounting member, and
wherein vertically upward movement of the rider’s foot out of the normal use position causes the two mountings to release the foot support member allowing the foot support member to rotate in either direction until the foot support member is fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member, the projection on each mounting moving in a respective recess and rotating in the same direction as the rider’s foot, prior to the foot support member being fully disconnected from the U-shaped mounting member.
11. The safety stirrup of claim 10, wherein each mounting comprises an additional projection on the U-shaped mounting member which is received in a recess on the foot support member and which restricts movement of the at least one additional projection to vertical and rotational movement.
12. A safety stirrup according to claim 10, which is constructed of polymeric material which is sufficiently flexible to provide a biasing force which resists movement of the at least one additional projection in its respective recess.
