1. A body cleansing apparatus, comprising:
a base member comprising one or more contoured profiles configured to conform to a body part of a user; and
a plurality of cleansing members positioned and attached at multiple locations on said one or more contoured profiles of said base member, wherein each of one or more of said cleansing members comprises:
a stem attached to and extending outwardly from said base member; and
a cluster of flexible bristles, said flexible bristles curvedly branching outwards from an upper end of said stem and defining a reservoir within each said cluster, said reservoir configurable for storing and retaining a cleansing agent and releasing said cleansing agent along said flexible bristles when said body part of said user contacts and applies pressure on said stem;
whereby said flexible bristles coated with said cleansing agent allow said user to cleanse said body part when said body part contacts and applies said pressure on said flexible bristles.
2. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said cluster of said flexible bristles comprises a central flexible bristle extending from said upper end of said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members, and radial flexible bristles surrounding said central flexible bristle.
3. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster comprises one or more apertures positioned on a body of said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles, wherein said one or more apertures are configured to dispense said cleansing agent contained within said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members.
4. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster comprises a spoon section that defines said reservoir, wherein said spoon section is configured to collect and retain said cleansing agent for cleansing said body part of said user.
5. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said each of said one or more of said cleansing members comprises one or more generally concave troughs positioned at a base of each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster where said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles meets said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members, wherein said one or more generally concave troughs are configured to contain said cleansing agent.
6. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster is configured in a generally concave configuration that defines said reservoir, wherein said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles in said generally concave configuration is configured to collect and retain said cleansing agent for cleansing said body part of said user.
7. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said base member further comprises a bladder configured to store and contain said cleansing agent, wherein said stored cleansing agent is drawn from said bladder through said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members and out through one or more apertures positioned on a body of each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster, when said body part of said user contacts and applies said pressure on said stem, for dispensing said cleansing agent.
8. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members comprises a cavity, in fluid communication with a bladder defined within said base member, for extracting said cleansing agent stored in said bladder, containing, and dispensing said cleansing agent through one or more apertures positioned on a body of each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster for said cleansing of said body part, when said body part of said user contacts and applies said pressure on said stem.
9. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of another one or more of said cleansing members comprises a single elongated flexible bristle attached to and extending outwardly from said base member.
10. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said base member is configured to conform to a rear said body part of said user for cleansing said rear said body part of said user.
11. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 10, wherein said base member configured for cleansing said rear said body part of said user is detachably attachable to a support structure by one or more fasteners.
12. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein one or more of said cleansing members are detachably attachable to one or more of said multiple locations on said one or more contoured profiles of said base member for allowing said user to flexibly configure said one or more of said cleansing members on said base member for said cleansing of said body part of said user.
13. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a spring member operably connected to a lower end of said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members for enabling flexible movement of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members during said cleansing of said body part.
14. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of said flexible bristles comprises a flexible tip configured to contact and cleanse said body part of said user.
15. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said base member with said positioned and attached cleansing members is rollably wrapped around spaced apart elongate rods having elongate rollers, wherein a lower of said elongate rollers is driven by a motor via a belt driven wheel assembly operably connected to said lower of said elongate rollers for rolling said base member with said positioned and attached cleansing members over said elongate rollers and enhancing said cleansing of said body part of said user.
16. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 1, wherein said base member is configured as a wearable unit that conforms to a hand of said user, wherein said wearable unit comprises a chamber for accommodating said hand of said user.
17. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 16, further comprising an insert member extending outwardly from said wearable unit and containing said cleansing agent, wherein said insert member containing said cleansing agent is foldable into said chamber of said wearable unit, and wherein said user inserts said hand into said chamber of said wearable unit and folds said insert member containing said cleansing agent into said chamber of said wearable unit for cleansing body of said user by a release of said cleansing agent through said wearable unit.
18. The body cleansing apparatus of claim 16, wherein said wearable unit is selectively composed of a scrubbing material, wherein said cleansing agent permeates through said scrubbing material of said wearable unit for cleansing body of said user.
19. A method for cleansing a body part of a user, comprising:
providing a body cleansing apparatus comprising:
a base member comprising one or more contoured profiles configured to conform to said body part of said user; and
a plurality of cleansing members positioned and attached at multiple locations on said one or more contoured profiles of said base member, wherein each of one or more of said cleansing members comprises:
a stem attached to and extending outwardly from said base member; and
a cluster of flexible bristles, said flexible bristles curvedly branching outwards from an upper end of said stem and defining a reservoir within each said cluster, said reservoir configurable for storing and retaining a cleansing agent;
collecting said cleansing agent in said reservoir within said cluster of said flexible bristles; and
releasing said collected cleansing agent from said reservoir along said flexible bristles when said body part of said user contacts and applies pressure on said stem, for cleansing said body part.
20. The method of claim 19, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster comprises one or more apertures positioned on a body of said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles, wherein said one or more apertures are configured to dispense said cleansing agent contained within said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members.
21. The method of claim 19, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster comprises a spoon section that defines said reservoir, wherein said spoon section is configured to collect and retain said cleansing agent for cleansing said body part of said user.
22. The method of claim 19, wherein said each of said one or more of said cleansing members comprises one or more generally concave troughs positioned at a base of each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster where said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles meets said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members, wherein said one or more generally concave troughs are configured to contain said cleansing agent.
23. The method of claim 19, wherein each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster is configured in a generally concave configuration that defines said reservoir, wherein said each of said one or more of said flexible bristles in said generally concave configuration is configured to collect and retain said cleansing agent for cleansing said body part of said user.
24. The method of claim 19, wherein said stem of said each of said one or more of said cleansing members comprises a cavity, in fluid communication with a bladder defined within said base member, for extracting said cleansing agent stored in said bladder, containing, and dispensing said cleansing agent through one or more apertures positioned on a body of each of one or more of said flexible bristles in said cluster for said cleansing of said body part, when said body part of said user contacts and applies said pressure on said stem.
25. The method of claim 19, further comprising rollably wrapping said body cleansing apparatus around spaced apart elongate rods having elongate rollers, and driving a lower of said elongate rollers by a motor via a belt driven wheel assembly operably connected to said lower of said elongate rollers for rolling said body cleansing apparatus over said elongate rollers and enhancing said cleansing of said body part of said user.

1. In an implantable cardiac device, a method comprising:
detecting apnea of a patient;
measuring a blood oxygen saturation level of the patient responsive to detection of apnea; and
selecting one of phrenic nerve stimulation therapy or cardiac stimulation pulse therapy depending upon the blood oxygen saturation level.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein selecting comprises selecting phrenic nerve stimulation therapy if the blood oxygen saturation level is below a threshold value, and cardiac stimulation pulse therapy if the blood oxygen saturation level is above the threshold value.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein providing comprises withholding therapy if the blood oxygen saturation level is above a maximum threshold value.
4. An implantable cardiac stimulation device comprising:
an apnea detector that detects apnea of a patient;
a blood oxygen saturation monitor that measures a blood oxygen saturation level of the patient responsive to detection of apnea; and
a therapy circuit that selects between phrenic nerve stimulation pulses and cardiac stimulation pulses based on the blood oxygen saturation level.
5. The device of claim 4, wherein the apnea detector includes a respiration detector.
6. The device of claim 5, wherein the respiration detector includes an impedance monitor.
7. The device of claim 4, wherein the therapy circuit withholds therapy if the measured blood oxygen saturation level is within a predefined range.
8. The device of claim 7, wherein the predefined range is above a threshold value.
9. The device of claim 4, wherein the therapy circuit includes a pulse generator that provides the cardiac stimulation pulses in a DAO pacing mode.
10. The device of claim 4 wherein the apnea detector includes an oxygen saturation monitor.
11. An implantable cardiac stimulation device comprising:
an apnea detector that detects apnea of a patient;
a blood oxygen saturation monitor that measures a blood oxygen saturation level of the patient responsive to detection of apnea; and
a therapy circuit that provides phrenic nerve stimulation pulses if the measured blood oxygen saturation level is within a first range and cardiac stimulation pulses if the measured blood oxygen saturation level is within a second range, different from the first range.
12. The device of claim 11, wherein the apnea detector includes a respiration detector.
13. The device of claim 12, wherein the respiration detector includes an impedance monitor.
14. The device of claim 11, wherein the second range is above the first range.
15. The device of claim 11, wherein the therapy circuit withholds therapy if the measured blood oxygen saturation level is within a third range.
16. The device of claim 15, wherein the second range is above the first range and wherein the third range is above the second range.
17. The device of claim 11, wherein the therapy circuit includes a pulse generator that provides the cardiac stimulation pulses in an atrial pacing mode.
18. The device of claim 17, wherein the atrial pacing mode is an accelerated rate atrial pacing mode.
19. The device of claim 18, wherein the accelerated rate atrial pacing mode is a DAO pacing mode.
20. The device of claim 11 wherein the apnea detector includes an oxygen saturation monitor.
