1. An electrically conductive paste, comprising:
a resin capable of being cross-linked by free-radical polymerization, wherein the resin includes a mixture of bis-glycidyl methacrylate, ethoxylated bisphenol A, and triethlene glycoldimethacrylate (TGMA), and wherein the resin comprises 35 to 50 percent of the paste;
electrically conductive filler particles dispersed in the resin, wherein the electrically conductive filler particles comprise 50 to 65 percent of the paste and are of a substance selected from the group consisting of: tin, indium, bismuth and zinc, the resulting paste being electrically conductive, wherein each electrically conductive filler particle has an irregularly shaped form and a particle size between 10 \u03bcm and 100 \u03bcm; and
wherein the electrically conductive paste is used for forming electrical conductive polymer bumps at low temperature.
2. The paste of claim 1, wherein the resin is a material selected from a group consisting of: acrylates, methacrylates, epoxies having olefinic groups, and polyimides having olefinic groups.
3. A device, comprising:
a first surface to allow an integrated circuit die to form a connection to the device;
bumps of electrically conductive paste polymerized by free-radical polymerization, formed on the first surface at temperatures in the range of 23 \xb0 C to 150 \xb0 C, wherein the electrically conductive paste is at least partially comprised of meltable, conductive particles having irregularly shaped form, and a resin including a mixture of bis-glycidyl methacrylate, ethoxylated bisphenol A, and triethylene glycoldimethacrylate (TGMA); and
an electrical connection formed by the integrated circuit die, the bumps and the device.
4. The device of claim 3, wherein the bumps further comprise bumps of electrically conductive paste cured by application of one of the group consisting of: heat and light.
5. The device of claim 3, wherein interconnections formed from the bumps have a residual stress in the range of about 0.0034 GPa to 0.02813 GPa.

1. A building material product, comprising a substrate and a biocidal coating containing an effective amount of nano-sized silver.
2. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the substrate comprises a facer.
3. The building material product of claim 1, where the coating is aqueous based.
4. The building material product of claim 2, where the coating is a latex.
5. The building material product of claim 3, where the latex is an acrylic latex.
6. The building material product of claim 1, where the coating also contains a filler.
7. The building material product of claim 1, where the coating is foamed.
8. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the coating contains some or all of the following: filler(s), surfactant(s), UV stabilizer(s), thermal stabilizer(s), pigment(s), other co-biocides, fibrous reinforcements, strength additives, compatibilizers, andor fire retardants.
9. The building material product of claim 1, wherein nanosilver level is in the range of approximately 0.0001% to approximately 0.01% of the coating by dry weight.
10. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the coating is applied to only one side of the substrate.
11. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the coating is applied to both sides of the substrate.
12. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the coating saturates the substrate.
13. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the substrate is a non-woven substrate.
14. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the substrate is selected from the group consisting of fiberglass, cellulose, synthetic fiber, polyester, roof insulation, sheathing, single-ply roofing membrane, asphalt-containing roof membrane, gypsum board, siding and roof underlayment or housewrap.
15. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the substrate contains a polymeric film, either by itself or adhered to a co-substrate.
16. The building material product of claim 1, wherein the nano-sized silver is effective in killing andor preventing the growth of mold, fungus, algae or bacteria on the facer.
17. The building material product of claim 2, wherein the facer includes an insulation product.
18. A facer comprising a substrate coated with a biocidal coating containing an effective amount of nano-sized silver.
19. The facer of claim 18, where the coating is aqueous based.
20. The facer of claim 19, where the coating is a latex.
21. The facer of claim 20, where the latex is an acrylic latex.
22. The facer of claim 18, where the coating also contains a filler.
23. The facer of claim 18, where the coating is foamed.
24. The facer of claim 18, wherein the coating contains some or all of the following: filler(s), surfactant(s), UV stabilizer(s), thermal stabilizer(s), pigment(s), other co-biocides, fibrous reinforcements, strength additives, compatibilizers, andor fire retardants.
25. The facer of claim 18, wherein nanosilver level is in the range of approximately 0.0001% to approximately 0.01% of the coating by dry weight.
26. The facer of claim 18, wherein the coating is applied to only one side of the substrate.
27. The facer of claim 18, wherein the coating is applied to both sides of the substrate.
28. The facer of claim 18, wherein the coating saturates the substrate.
29. The facer of claim 18, wherein the substrate is a non-woven substrate.
30. The facer of claim 18, wherein the substrate is selected from the group consisting of fiberglass, cellulose, synthetic fiber, and polyester, roof insulation, sheathing, single-ply roofing membrane, asphalt-containing roof membrane, gypsum board, siding and roof underlayment or housewrap.
31. The facer of claim 18, wherein the substrate contains a polymeric film, either by itself or adhered to a co-substrate.
32. The facer of claim 18, wherein the nano-sized silver is effective in killing andor preventing the growth of mold, fungus, algae or bacteria on the facer.
33. The facer of claim 18, wherein the facer is attached to an insulation material.
34. The facer of claim 18, wherein the facer is attached to one or both sides of a gypsum board.
35. A building material product, comprising a substrate and a biocidal coating containing one or more nano-sized metals, metal oxides or metal ions.
36. The building material product of claim 34, wherein said nano-sized metal, metal oxide or metal ions is selected from the group consisting of silver, zinc, copper, nickel, lead and iron.
