5. The method as described, in claim 1 wherein the initiating the download further comprises:
determining whether the device comprises sufficient memory to store the first content; and
indicating a status of the device by outputting a signal.
6. The method as described in claim 5 wherein the signal is selected from a group including a lighting a light emitting device (LED), displaying a message to a user, and outputting an audio output.
7. The method as described in claim 1 wherein the initiating the download further comprises:
creating at least one folder in the device for storing the first content to a memory.
8. The method as described in claim 1 wherein the first content is encrypted before uploading from the content provider and decrypted after downloading the first content to the device.
9. The method as described in claim 1 wherein the first content is encrypted after the first content is downloaded by the device and before the content is sent to another electronic device.
10. A device for downloading a selectable content, the device comprising:
an inputoutput connection, wherein the inputoutput connection is communicatively coupled to a content provider that is a networked device communicating with a network cloud, wherein the device in response to a user command, initiated by input into a user interface of a receiver separate from the content provider, receives the selectable content from the content provider, wherein the device is operable to download a content based on the selectable content at least for play thereof by the device; and
at least one memory component in which the selectable content is stored.
11. The device as described in claim 10 further comprising:
a status indicator wherein the status indicator indicates whether a download is in progress, whether the device has sufficient memory, whether the download is complete and whether the device is connected.
12. The device as described in claim 10 wherein the memory component comprises at least one removable memory card.
13. The device as described in claim 10 further comprising:
a wireless device for sending and receiving the selectable content.
14. The device as described in claim 10 further comprising:
additional connections capable of communicatively coupling the device to other electronic devices.
15. The device as described in claim 10 further comprising:
an encryptiondecryption unit to decrypt encrypted content downloaded and to encrypt the content before transferring the content to other electronic devices.
16. The device as described in claim 10 further comprising an identification wherein the identification is registered with the content provider such that the identity of the content downloader is authenticated by the content provider before the content provider begins uploading the content to the device.
The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.
1. A catalytic reactor comprising:
a mixing section to mix an oxygen containing gas with a hydrocarbon containing gas and a reaction section connected to the mixing section to react the mixture of the oxygen containing gas and the hydrocarbon containing gas to produce a product;
said mixing section including a mixing chamber having an inlet for the hydrocarbon containing gas, an oxygen injector located within the mixing chamber for injecting the oxygen containing gas into the hydrocarbon containing gas and a flame arrestor located at least below the oxygen injector;
the flame arrestor being formed of a mass of porous material that permits mixing in both radial and axial directions of said mixing chamber to promote mixing of the oxygen containing gas and the hydrocarbon containing gas and the flame arrestor in contact with the walls of said mixing chamber such that flow of said oxygen containing gas and said hydrocarbon containing gas is constrained to pass through said flame arrestor before entering the reaction section; and
said reaction section including an inner chamber positioned to receive the mixture of the oxygen containing gas and the hydrocarbon containing gas, a catalyst located within said inner chamber to promote the reactions involving said mixture, an outer pressure vessel, thermal insulation between said inner chamber and said outer pressure vessel and an outlet penetrating the outer chamber and in communication with the inner chamber to discharge a product gas containing the product.
