1. A method of applying a polymeric coating to at least one embolic coil, which comprises:
passing one end of the embolic coil through an aperture in a spreading member to straighten the coil;
attaching said one end of the embolic coil to an upper holder positioned above said spreading member, the embolic coil portion that extends from the upper holder to said aperture being generally vertical and straight;
applying to said embolic coil a dispersion of a polymeric coating formulation in a solvent; and passing portions of said embolic coil which are below said spreading member through said spreading member, to cause substantially the entire embolic coil, with said polymeric coating formulation applied, to be vertical and straight;
removing the spreading member and the upper holder while in fixed position relative to each other and removing the embolic coil from further contact with said coating formulation; and
drying said embolic coil.
2. The method of claim 1 in which the portion of said embolic coil positioned below said spreading member is generally bunched into a wad of curved, bunched embolic coil portions.
3. The method of claim 1 in which a lower end of said embolic coil is attached to a lower holder, which lower holder is held in fixed position relative to the spreading member.
4. The method of claim 1 in which the dispersion of polymeric coating is applied to the embolic coil by immersion into a container holding said dispersion.
5. The method of claim 4 in which the upper holder rises and the spreading member is stationary and immersed in the dispersion, to pass portions of the embolic coil upwardly through said spreading member, to straighten and hold vertical substantially the entire embolic coil.
6. The method of claim 5 in which the embolic coil is removed from said further contact with the coating formulation by lowering the container of said dispersion.
7. The method of claim 6 in which the lower end of said embolic coil is attached to a lower holder, which lower holder is held in fixed position relative to the spreading member.
8. The method of claim 7 in which the portion of said embolic coil positioned below said spreading member is generally bunched into a wad of curved, bunched embolic coil portions.
9. The method of claim 1 in which a plurality of said upper holders and spreading members are present, holding a plurality of said embolic coils.
10. The method of claim 1 in which said embolic coil is further processed, prior to removal of the coil from the upper holder and spreading member.
11. The method of claim 1 in which said dispersion of a polymeric coating is applied to the embolic coil by a spray.
12. The method of claim 1 in which said embolic coil is held between the spreading member and the upper holder in a manner whereby individual coils of the embolic coil are spaced from each other, to facilitate access of the polymeric coating between the coils.
13. The method of claim 12 in which said coils are spaced by essentially 0.001-0.1 inch.
14. The method of applying a polymeric coating to at least one embolic coil, which comprises:
attaching one end of the embolic coil to an upper holder positioned above a spreading member;
passing one end of the embolic coil through an aperture in said spreading member whereby the embolic coil portion that extends from the upper holder to said aperture is generally vertical and straight;
applying to said embolic coil a dispersion of a polymeric coating formulation in a solvent;
passing portions of said embolic coil which are below said spreading member through said spreading member, to cause substantially the entire embolic coil, with said polymeric coating formulation applied, to be vertical and straight, said embolic coil positioned below said spreading member being generally bunched into a wad of curved, bunched embolic coil portions;
removing from said container the embolic coil, held with the spreading member and upper holder, while in fixed position relative to each other, from further contact with said coating formulation; and drying the embolic coil.
15. The method of claim 14 in which said step of applying said dispersion comprises immersing said embolic coil into a container holding said dispersion in said solvent.
16. The method of claim 15 in which said portions of said embolic coil below said spreading member are passed through said spreading member by raising said upper holder relative to the spreading member.
17. The method of claim 16 in which the lower end of said embolic coil is attached to a lower holder, which lower holder is held in a fixed position relative to the spreading member.
18. The method of claim 16 in which a plurality of said upper holders and spreading members are present, holding a plurality of said embolic coils together in a single fixture.

1. A display device comprising:
a first gate bus line extending in a first direction;
a second gate bus line adjacent to the first gate bus line and extending in the first direction;
a first power supply line extending in a second direction;
a second power supply line adjacent to the first power supply line and extending in the second direction;
a data bus line extending in the second direction and being positioned between the first and the second power supply line; and
a first pixel and a second pixel positioned between the first gate bus line, the second gate bus line, the first power supply line and the second power supply line,
wherein the first pixel and the second pixel share the data bus line.
2. The display device of claim 1, wherein the first pixel comprises:
a first switching transistor connected to the data bus line and the first gate bus line;
a first controlling transistor electrically connected to the second gate bus line;
a first driving transistor electrically connected to the first switching transistor and the first power supply line; and
a light emitting element connected to the first driving transistor.
3. The display device of claim 2, wherein the light emitting element emits light when the first gate bus line and the second gate bus line activates at the same time.
4. The display device of claim 2, further comprising a first charge storage device coupled between the first driving transistor and the first power supply line.
5. The display device of claim 2, wherein the second pixel comprises:
a second switching transistor electrically connected to the first data bus line and the first gate bus line;
a second driving transistor electrically connected to the second switching; and
a second light emitting element electrically connected to the driving transistor.
6. The display device of claim 5, wherein the second light emitting element emits light in response to a signal provided on the first gate bus line.
7. The display device of claim 5, further comprising a second storage capacitor connected between the second driving transistor and the second power supply line.
8. The display device of claim 5, further comprising a second controlling transistor coupled between the second switching transistor and the second driving transistor.
9. The display device of claim 1, wherein a distance between the data bus line and adjacent data bus line is about 160 \u03bcm to 200 \u03bcm.
10. A display device comprising;
a first gate bus line extending in a first direction;
a second gate bus line adjacent to the first gate bus line and extending in the first direction;
a first power supply line extending in a second direction;
a second power supply line positioned in parallel to the first power supply line;
a data bus line extending in the second direction and positioned between the first power supply line and the second power supply line;
a first switching transistor electrically connected to the first gate bus line and the data bus line;
a first driving transistor electrically connected to the first power supply line;
a first controlling transistor electrically connected to the second gate bus line, the first switching transistor and the first driving transistor;
a first light emitting element electrically connected to the first driving transistor;
a second switching transistor electrically connected to the first gate bus line and the data bus line;
a second driving transistor electrically connected to the second switching transistor and the second power supply line; and
a second light emitting element electrically connected to the second driving transistor.
11. The display device of claim 11, further comprising a first storage capacitor electrically connected between the first driving transistor and the first power supply line.
12. The display device of claim 11, further comprising a second storage capacitor connected between the second driving transistor and the second power supply line.
13. A display device comprising:
a first gate bus line;
a second gate bus line;
a data bus line;
a first light emitting element operable in response to signals on the first gate bus line, the second gate bus line and the data bus line;
a second light emitting element operable in response to signals on the first gate bus line and the data bus line;
a gate driving section coupled to the first gate bus line and the second gate bus line, the gate driving section being configured to provide a first gate signal to the first gate bus line and a second gate signal to the second gate bus line, wherein the first and second gate signals each have a first period and a second period, and further wherein during the first period, the first gate signal and the second gate signal are applied to the first and the second gate bus lines, respectively; and
a data driving section outputting a first data signal for the first light emitting element during the first period and a second data signal for the second light emitting element during the second period.
14. The display device of claim 13, wherein the gate signal has a main pulse and a sub-pulse.
15. The display device of claim 14, wherein during the first period, the main pulse of the first gate signal and the sub-pulse of the second gate signal are applied to the first and the second gate bus line, respectively.
16. The display device of claim 13, wherein the main pulse has a first and a second main pulse.
17. The display device of claim 16, wherein the data driving section outputs the first data signal during the first main pulse and the second data signal during the second main pulse.
18. A method for driving a display device having a first gate bus line, a second gate bus line adjacent to first gate bus line, and a data bus line comprising:
simultaneously activating the first gate bus line and the second gate bus line;
transmitting a first data signal from the data bus line to a first driving transistor;
emitting light from a first light emitting element connected to the first driving transistor responsive to receipt of the first data signal;
activating the first gate bus line;
transmitting a second data signal from the data bus line to a second driving transistor; and
emitting a light from a second light emitting element connected to the second driving transistor responsive to receipt of the second data signal.
19. A method of claim 18, wherein activating the first and the second gate bus line comprises:
applying a first gate signal to the first gate bus line; and
applying a second gate signal to the second gate bus line while a portion of the first gate signal is applied to the first gate bus line.
20. A display device comprising:
a first pixel and a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel, wherein the first pixel and second pixel are bounded by a first gate bus line, a second bus line, a first power supply line and a second power supply line;
a data bus line positioned between the first and the second power supply line.
21. A display device comprising:
a display panel including a first light emitting device electrically coupled to a first gate bus line, a second gate bus line that is adjacent to the first gate bus line, a data line, and a second light emitting device electrically coupled to the first gate bus line and the data line;
a gate driving section configured to apply a first gate signal to the first gate bus line, and a second gate signal to the second gate bus line, wherein the first gate signal includes a first sub pulse having a first time interval and a first main pulse having a second time interval that is longer than the first time interval, the gate driving section being further configured to provide to the second gate bus line a second gate signal including a second sub pulse having the first time interval and a second main pulse having the second time interval, the second main pulse following the second sub pulse, wherein the second sub pulse overlaps the first main pulse; and
a data driving section configured to apply a first data signal to first light emitting device during the first time interval when the second sub pulse overlaps with the first main pulse, and to apply a second data signal to the second light emitting device during a remaining second time interval except for the first time interval.
22. The display device of claim 21, wherein a rising edge of the second sub pulse is synchronized in time with a rising edge of the first main pulse.
23. The display device of claim 22, wherein a falling edge of the first main pulse is synchronized in time with a rising edge of the second main pulse.
24. The display device of claim 21, wherein the first main pulse comprises a first main portion and a second main portion, and further wherein the second main pulse comprises a first main portion and a second main portion.
25. The display device of claim 24, wherein the rising edge of the first main portion of first main pulse is synchronized in time with a rising edge of the second sub pulse.
26. The display device of claim 25, wherein a falling edge of the second main portion of the first main pulse is synchronized in time with a rising edge of the first main portion of the second main pulse.
27. A method of driving a display device including a first light emitting device that is electrically coupled to a first gate bus line, a second gate bus line that is adjacent to the first gate bus line and a data line, and a second light emitting device that is electrically coupled to the first gate bus line and the data line, the method comprising:
applying a first data signal to the data line to drive the first light emitting device during a time when the first and second gate bus lines are activated; and
applying a second data signal to the data line in order to drive the second light emitting device during a time when the first gate bus line is activated and the second gate bus line is inactivated.
28. The method of claim 27, wherein the first and second gate bus lines are activated by:
applying a first gate signal including a first sub pulse having a first time interval and a first main pulse having a second time interval that is longer than the first time interval to the first gate bus line; and
applying a second gate signal including a second sub pulse having the first time interval and a second main pulse having the second time interval to the second gate bus line, such that the second sub pulse overlaps with the first main pulse.
29. The method of claim 28, wherein the second gate signal is applied to the second gate bus line such that the second sub pulse is synchronized with the first main pulse.
30. The method of claim 29, wherein the second gate signal is applied to the second gate bus line such that a rising edge of the second main pulse is synchronized with a falling edge of the first main pulse.
