1. A network node comprising:
a receiving means for receiving a first set of filtered data from a first sensor source, wherein said first set of data is filtered according to a first pre-set policy prior to reception at the network node;
a processor for enriching the received first set of data utilizing a second set of data;
a memory for storing the first set of filtered data, the second set of data and the enriched data; and
a transmitting means for selectively transmitting the enriched data.
2. The network node of claim 1, wherein the receiving means further receives:
information on capabilities and an identity of the first sensor source from a capabilities server; and
location information of the first sensor source from a location server;
3. The network node of claim 2, wherein the processor further generates a first token for the first sensor source and transmits the first token to the first sensor source via the transmitting means, wherein the first token is generated based on the first pre-set policy obtained from a policy server and the identity of the first sensor source.
4. The network node of claim 3, wherein the receiving means further receives data from the first sensor source based on authentication of the first token by the first sensor source.
5. The network node of claim 1, wherein the first sensor source is a mobile device having at least one sensor.
6. The network node of claim 1, wherein the first sensor is a mobile device attached via a short range communication link to at least one sensor.
7. The network node of claim 1, wherein the receiving means further receives the second set of data from a second sensor source wherein the second set of data is filtered according to a second pre-set policy prior to reception.
8. The network node of claim 7, wherein the processor further generates a second token for the second sensor source and transmits the second token to the second sensor source via the transmitting means, wherein the second token is generated based on the second pre-set policy obtained from a policy server and an identity of the second sensor source received from a capabilities server.
9. The network node of claim 8, wherein the receiving means further receives data from the second sensor source based on authentication of the second token by the second sensor source.
10. The network node of claim 7, wherein the second sensor source is a server associated with at least one fixed sensor.
11. The network node of claim 1, wherein the second set of data represents historical data.
12. The network node of claim 1, wherein the sensor data corresponds to a measurement of an environmental parameter.
13. The network node of claim 1, wherein the transmitting means further transmits enriched data in response to a request from a requestor.
14. The network node of claim 13, wherein the transmitting means further transmits enriched data upon validation of an identity of the requestor.
15. A method of processing sensor data, comprising:
receiving a first set of filtered data from a first sensor source, wherein said first set of data is filtered according to a first pre-set policy
enriching the received first set of data utilizing a second set of data;
storing the first set of data, the second set of data and the enriched data; and
selectively transmitting the enriched data.
16. The method of claim 15, further comprising:
receiving information on capabilities and an identity of the first sensor source from a capabilities server;
receiving location information of the first sensor source from a location server;
obtaining the first pre-set policy from a policy server;
generating a first token based on the first pre-set policy and the identity of the first sensor source; and
transmitting the first token to the first sensor source.
17. The method of claim 16, further comprising:
receiving data from the first sensor source based on authentication of the first token by the first sensor source.
18. The method of claim 15, further comprising:
receiving the second set of data from a second sensor source wherein the second set of data is filtered according to a second pre-set policy prior to reception.
19. The method of claim 18, further comprising:
obtaining the second pre-set policy from a policy server;
generating a second token based on the second pre-set policy and an identity of the second sensor source; and
transmitting the second token to the second sensor source.
20. The method of claim 19, further comprising:
receiving data from the second sensor source based on authentication of the second token by the second sensor source.
21. The method of claim 20, wherein the second sensor source is a server associated with at least one fixed sensor.
22. The method of claim 15, wherein the second set of data represents historical data.
23. The method of claim 15, wherein the sensor data corresponds to a measurement of an environmental parameter.
24. The method of claim 15, further comprising:
receiving a request from a requestor for at least a portion of the enriched data;
validating an identity of the requestor;
transmitting the enriched data to the validated requestor.
25. A computer readable medium storing a computer program comprising computer readable program modules which when run on a network node causes the network node to:
receive a first set of filtered data from a first sensor source, wherein said first set of data is filtered according to a first pre-set policy;
enrich the received first set of data utilizing a second set of data;
store the first set of data, the second set of data and the enriched data; and
selectively transmit the enriched data.

1. A method of forming a web, having a body portion with loop connectors along one edge and hook connectors along an opposite edge, for use as a wraparound sleeve including:
providing a plurality of warp and weft yarns to a knitting zone of a knitting machine;
providing a tape having hook elements to said knitting zone;
moving said warp yarns, weft yarns and said tape through said knitting zone causing knitting needles within said knitting zone to engage said warp and weft yarns knitting said web;
simultaneously causing selected of said knitting needles to also pass through said tape to secure said tape with said web during formation of said web.
2. The method of claim 1 including simultaneously causing other selected of said knitting needles to engage with selected of said warp yarns to form raised loops along said opposite edge of said web simultaneously with the forming of said web.
3. The method of claim 2 including providing certain of said warp yarns are monofilament synthetic yarn and forming said body web portion of said monofilament synthetic yarns and providing multifilament bulky synthetic yarn and forming said loops along said opposite edge of said multifilament bulky yarn.
4. The method of claim 1 including forming said tape by weaving.
5. The method of claim 1 including forming the raised loops on a first web side and knitting the tape onto a second web side.
6. The method of claim 1 including causing said warp yarns to form chains longitudinally of said fabric and causing selected of said chains to be transversely spaced at varying distances.
7. A knit fabric for use as a wraparound sleeve comprising:
a web having a body portion with a first edge laterally spaced from a second edge, said web being formed of first, second and third yarn groups;
said body portion comprising a single layer knit portion formed of yarns of said first and second yarn groups;
said first edge comprising a multi-layer knit portion formed of yarns of said first and second yarn groups, said yarns of said yarn first and second groups engaging with and securing a fabric strip carrying hook elements along a surface of said first edge;
said second edge comprising a multi-layer knit portion formed of yarns of said first, second and third yarn groups, said third yarn group yarns forming raised loops along said second edge which extend above said yarns of said first and second yarn groups.
8. The fabric of claim 7 wherein yarns of said third yarn group are larger than yarns of said first and second yarn groups.
9. The fabric of claim 7 wherein the yarns of said first and second yarn groups are monofilament yarns.
10. The fabric of claim 7 wherein the yarns of said third yarn group are multifilament yarns.
11. The fabric of claim 7 wherein chains of pillow stitches secure said fabric strip with said first edge.
12. The fabric of claim 7 wherein said body portion is formed of warp chains of pillow stitches engaged with weft yarns.
13. The fabric of claim 7 wherein tricot stitches form said raised loops.
14. A knit fabric having connectors along opposed edges comprising:
a body portion having laterally spaced first and second edges formed by knitting warp and weft yarns together;
a tape, having first connectors over its outer surface, knitted onto said body portion along said first edge;
second connectors knitted onto said body portion along said second edge; whereby,
said first connectors and second connectors inter-engage when overlaid forming said fabric tubular.
15. The fabric of claim 14 wherein said first connectors comprise hook members.
16. The fabric of claim 14 wherein said second connectors comprise loop members.
17. The fabric of claim 14 wherein said yarns forming said fabric comprise polymeric monofilament and multifilament yarns.
18. The fabric of claim 14 wherein said first connectors are arranged along one surface of said body portion and said second connectors are arranged along the other surface of said body portion.
19. The fabric of claim 14 wherein said warp yarns form a plurality of horizontally spaced stitch chains extending longitudinally of said fabric, selected of said chains being horizontally spaced a greater distance from adjacent of said chains than the remainder of said chains.
20. The fabric of claim 19 wherein certain of said selected chains secure said tape with said body portion.
