1-12. (canceled)
13. A separator arrangement, comprising:
a separator with a rotatable drum, with a vertical rotational axis;
a distributor including a distribution chamber;
a feed pipe projecting into the distribution chamber of the distributor; and
a non-rotatable hood enclosing the rotatable drum,
wherein a hood interior, which is sealed against the exterior region of the hood is formed between the hood and the drum,
wherein the drum, in an inlet region, is not hermetically sealed against the hood interior,
wherein the separator has a device configured to lower pressure inside the hood interior as a result of rotations of the drum in the manner of a jet pump.
14. The separator arrangement of claim 13, wherein the device for lowering the pressure inside the hood interior as a result of rotations of the drum is at least one fluid connection between the distribution chamber and the hood interior that is configured in such a way that during rotations of the drum and during a product feed through the feed pipe and through the distributor into the drum airgas is drawn out of the hood interior through the fluid connection into the distribution chamber, from where it is discharged through the drum and out of the drum through at least one discharge pipe.
15. The separator arrangement of claim 13, wherein the fluid connection is a fluid pipe between the hood interior and the distribution chamber and is formed on or in the feed pipe.
16. The separator arrangement of claim 15, wherein the fluid pipe has an inlet formed on the feed pipe above the rotatable drum, and wherein the fluid pipe extends axially up to a level of a distributor shaft where an outlet into the distribution chamber is formed.
17. The separator arrangement of claim 14, wherein the fluid pipe has at least one bore that passes through the paring disk.
18. The separator arrangement of claim 15, wherein the fluid pipe opens into the feed pipe.
19. The separator arrangement of claim 18, wherein the fluid pipe has an opening oriented in a flow direction of the feed pipe.
20. The separator arrangement of claim 13, further comprising:
a further pump configured to pump gasair out of the hood interior into the space outside the hood.
21. A method for lowering the pressure inside the hood interior of a separator arrangement a separator with a rotatable drum, with a vertical rotational axis; a distributor including a distribution chamber; a feed pipe projecting into the distribution chamber of the distributor; and a non-rotatable hood enclosing the rotatable drum, wherein a hood interior, which is sealed against the exterior region of the hood is formed between the hood and the drum, wherein the drum, in an inlet region, is not hermetically sealed against the hood interior, the method comprising:
rotating the rotatable drum about the vertical rotation axis; and
lowering, by a device, pressure inside the hood interior as a result of rotations of the drum in the manner of a jet pump.
22. The method of claim 21, wherein before processing a product that is to be processed, a liquid is first directed through the drum in order to lower the pressure inside the hood interior by the device in the manner of a jet pump, and then the actual processing of the product which is to be processed is performed.
23. The method of claim 22, wherein the liquid is the product itself.
24. The method of claim 23, wherein the liquid is water.
The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.
1. A method for identifying a problem with writing data to a storage media comprising:
generating, by a processor, a correction record based on a request, provided over a communication network, to replace unreadable data of a data file identified during an operation of reading the data file from a storage media,
wherein the correction record includes information indicating one or more certain types of storage media for which a request to replace unreadable data of a particular data file stored thereon, the request including an identifier of the particular data file and an identifier of a particular storage media corresponding to the storage media, is provided over the network, such that a problem with writing a properly received data file to a specific type of storage media is identifiable.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the correction record includes information indicating at least one of (i) an identity of a particular storage media for which a request to replace unreadable data of a particular data file stored thereon is provided over the network or (ii) a number of times a request to replace unreadable data of the particular data file on the particular storage media is provided over the network.
3. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
receiving, at the processor over the communications network, the request to replace unreadable data from a reproduction apparatus that performs the operation of reading the data file from the storage media.
4. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
controlling, by the processor, transmission to the reproduction apparatus, over the communication network, of replacement data responsive to the request.
5. An apparatus for identifying a problem with writing data to a storage media, the apparatus comprising:
a controller that generates a correction record based on a request, provided over a communication network, to replace unreadable data of a data file identified during an operation of reading the data file from a storage media,
wherein the correction record includes information indicating one or more certain types of storage media for which a request to replace unreadable data of a particular data file stored thereon, the request including an identifier of the particular data file and an identifier of a particular storage media corresponding to the storage media, is provided over the network, such that a problem with writing a properly received data file to a specific type of storage media is identifiable.
