1. Packaging unit (1) for a flowable product, comprising first and second walls (2, 3) at least one (3) of which is concave and which are sealingly joined along their respective edges and define therebetween a cavity containing the flowable product, at least one of said walls (2, 3) being provided with a severing indicating means (8) for severing along a line indicated by said severing indicating means (8) and extending from side-to-side across the packaging unit (1) for opening a product outlet portion (6) of said cavity, characterized in that said severing indicating means (8) has over at least one of two end zones thereof at respective opposite sides (9) of said unit (1) a curvedly convex profile projecting away from said cavity.
2. Packaging unit according to claim 1, wherein said indicating means (8) comprises an incision (8) defining a predetermined fracture line.
3. Packaging unit according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said indicating means (8) has a curvedly convex profile from one of said sides (9) to the other of said sides (9).
4. Packaging unit according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said indicating means (8) has a rectilinear middle zone.
5. Packaging unit according to claim 2, wherein at at least one end of said indicating means (8) is a recess (11) in said respective edges and to the base of which said indicating means (8) extends.
6. Packaging unit according to claim 5, wherein the or each recess (11) has a substantially rectilinear boundary portion defining, together with said indicating means (8), a significantly obtuse angle.
7. A packaging unit (1) for a flowable product, comprising first and second walls (2, 3) at least one (3) of which is concave and which are sealingly joined along their respective edges and define therebetween a cavity containing the flowable product, at least one of the walls (2, 3) being provided with a severing indicating means (8) for severing along a line indicated by the severing indicating means (8) and extending from side-to-side across the packaging unit (1) for opening a product outlet portion (6) of the cavity, characterized in that the severing indicating means (8) has over at least one of two end zones thereof at respective opposite sides (9) of the unit (1) a curvedly convex profile projecting away from the cavity, the indicating means (8) comprises an incision (8) defining a predetermined fracture line, that at least one end of said indicating means (8) is a recess (11) in said respective edges and to a base of which said indicating means (8) extends, and the recess (11) has a substantially rectilinear boundary portion defining, together with said indicating means (8), a significantly obtuse angle.
8. The packaging unit according to claim 7 wherein the indicating means (8) has a curvedly convex profile from one of said sides (9) to the other of said sides (9).
9. The packaging unit of claim 7 wherein the indicating means (8) has a rectilinear middle zone.

1. A therapeutic footwear for supporting a wearer’s foot having a heel portion and plurality of toes including a great toe, the footwear including:
a horizontally extending base having first and second spaced apart ends, the first end adapted to support the heel portion of the wearer’s foot, the second end adapted to support the plurality of toes;
an ankle support strap adapted to secure the footwear to the wearer’s foot;
a first adjustable strap adapted to apply a medial force on the great toe, the first adjustable strap including an adjustment mechanism and first and second portions, the first portion coupled to the second end of the base, the second portion adapted to secure the adjustable strap to the base, the adjustment mechanism adapted to vary the medial force applied to the great toe; and
a second adjustable strap adapted to apply a lateral force to a great toe joint, the second adjustable strap including an adjustment mechanism and first and second ends, the first end coupled to the second end of the base, the second end adapted to secure the second adjustable strap to the base, and the adjustment mechanism adapted to vary the lateral force applied to the great toe joint.
