1. An apparatus for serving a beverage, comprising:
a container;
a flexible straw in communication with said container for serving a beverage from said container, said flexible straw having a first end and a second end, an outer wall and an inner wall defining a lumen,
an integral valve positioned within said flexible straw for impeding fluid flow through said lumen unless a pressure differential is applied thereto;
a second, venting, passage that is in communication with said container, wherein said second, venting passage comprises a space that is defined between an outer surface of said flexible straw and said opening that is defined in the container with at least a portion of said outer surface engages with at least a portion of said container; and
a flexible membrane interposed in said second passage, said flexible membrane being constructed and arranged to permit air to flow through said second passage when a predetermined pressure differential is developed across said flexible membrane; and
wherein said flexible straw comprises a circumferentially enlarged plug portion for securely fitting within said opening that is defined in said container, and wherein said second, venting passage comprises at least one longitudinal groove that is defined in said outer surface of said plug portion.
2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said flexible membrane is integral with said flexible straw.
3. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising an annular recess that is defined in said circumferentially enlarged plug portion, and wherein said flexible membrane is positioned as a radially extending projection within said annular recess, said flexible membrane having a radially outer edge that is sized so as to contact a sidewall defined in said opening in said container.
4. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said second, venting passage comprises a plurality of said longitudinal grooves.
5. A straw drinking cup according to claim 1, wherein said flexible straw and said integral valve are fabricated from a single, unitary piece.
6. A straw drinking cup according to claim 5, wherein said single, unitary piece is fabricated from a material comprising silicone.
7. A straw drinking cup according to claim 5, wherein said integral valve comprises a membrane that is positioned within said straw so as to normally occlude fluid flow through said straw, and a plurality of slits that are defined in said membrane so as to define a plurality of flaps, said flaps being displaceable when a pressure differential is applied across said membrane in order to permit fluid flow therethrough.
8. A straw drinking cup according to claim 1, wherein said second, venting passage comprises multiple longitudinal grooves that are evenly spaced about the periphery of said plug portion.
9. A straw drinking cup according to claim 1, further comprising at least one radial groove that communicates with said longitudinal grooves.
10. A straw drinking cup according to claim 1, further comprising a tab located on an end of said plug portion for removing said flexible straw from a lid of said container.
11. An apparatus for serving a beverage, comprising:
a container;
a flexible straw in communication with said container for serving a beverage from said container, said flexible straw having a first end and a second end, an outer wall and an inner wall defining a lumen;
an integral valve positioned within said flexible straw for impeding fluid flow through said lumen unless a pressure differential is applied thereto;
a second, venting, passage that is in communication with said container, wherein said second, venting passage comprises a space that is defined between an outer surface of said flexible straw and said opening that is defined in the container; a flexible membrane interposed in said second passage, said flexible membrane being constructed and arranged to permit air to flow through said second passage when a predetermined pressure differential is developed across said flexible membrane;
wherein said flexible straw comprises a circumferentially enlarged plug portion for securely fitting within said opening that is defined in said container, and wherein said second, venting passage comprises at least one longitudinal groove that is defined in an outer surface of said plug portion; and
further comprising an annular recess that is defined in said circumferentially enlarged plug portion, and wherein said flexible membrane is positioned as a radially extending projection within said annular recess, said flexible membrane having a radially outer edge that is sized so as to contact a sidewall defined in said opening in said container.
12. An apparatus for serving a beverage, comprising:
a container;
a flexible straw in communication with said container for serving a beverage from said container, said flexible straw having a first end and a second end, an outer wall and an inner wall defining a lumen;
an integral valve positioned within said flexible straw for impeding fluid flow through said lumen unless a pressure differential is applied thereto;
a second, venting, passage that is in communication with said container, wherein said second, venting passage comprises a space that is defined between an outer surface of said flexible straw and said opening that is defined in the container;
a flexible membrane interposed in said second passage, said flexible membrane being constructed and arranged to permit air to flow through said second passage when a predetermined pressure differential is developed across said flexible membrane;
wherein said flexible straw comprises a circumferentially enlarged plug portion for securely fitting within said opening that is defined in said container, and wherein said second, venting passage comprises at least one longitudinal groove that is defined in an outer surface of said plug portion; and
further comprising at least one radial groove that communicates with said longitudinal grooves.

1. A memory device, comprising:
a memory cell connecting to a local bit line, wherein the memory cell is composed of a pass transistor connecting to the local bit line and a storage node, and a ferroelectric capacitor connecting to the storage node and a plate line, for configuring a ferroelectric random access memory;
a tunable gain amp serving as a local sense amp, wherein the tunable gain amp includes a local reset transistor for resetting the local bit line, a local pre-amp transistor whose source is connected to a local amp voltage for tuning gain and whose gate is connected to the local bit line for reading the memory cell, a local pre-set transistor for pre-setting a local pre-amp node which is connected to a drain of the local pre-amp transistor, a local main-amp transistor for reading the local pre-amp node, a local amp enable transistor connecting to the local main-amp transistor serially for enabling, and a local transfer gate for transferring a write data from a global bit line to the local bit line;
a global sense amp connecting to the global bit line, wherein the global sense amp includes a read circuit, a latch circuit, a write circuit, and at least a select circuit, such that the read circuit reads the global bit line through the select circuit when reading, the latch circuit receives and stores an output from the read circuit or a pair of write data buses, and the write circuit receives an output from the latch circuit and drives the global bit line through the select circuit when writing;
a local amp voltage generator for generating the local amp voltage which is tunable;
a delay circuit as a locking signal generator for generating a delayed signal which disables a global amp enable transistor of the read circuit when reading, wherein the delayed signal is generated by an output from the latch circuit.
2. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the local sense amp includes sharing portions, such that the local sense amp includes a left local reset transistor for resetting a left local bit line, a left local pre-amp transistor for reading a left memory cell through the left local bit line, a right local reset transistor for resetting a right local bit line, a right local pre-amp transistor for reading a right memory cell through the right local bit line, a local pre-set transistor connecting to the left local pre-amp transistor and the right local pre-amp transistor through a local pre-amp node, a local main-amp transistor for reading the pre-amp node, a left local transfer gate for transferring the write data from the global bit line to the left local bit line, and a right local transfer gate for transferring the write data from the global bit line to the right local bit line, where the sharing portions are the local pre-set transistor and the local main-amp transistor.
3. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the local sense amp includes a shared local amp enable transistor, such that the local sense amp is composed of a left local reset transistor for resetting a left local bit line, a left local amplify transistor for reading a left memory cell through the left local bit line, a right local reset transistor for resetting a right local bit line, a right local amplify transistor for reading a right memory cell through the right local bit line, the shared local amp enable transistor whose drain is connected to a common node for connecting to the left local amplify transistor and the right local amplify, and whose source is connected to the global bit line, a left local transfer gate for connecting the left local bit line to the global bit line, and a right local transfer gate for connecting the right local bit line to the global bit line.
4. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the local sense amp is composed of a left local reset transistor for resetting a left local bit line, a left local amplify transistor for reading a left memory cell through the left local bit line, a right local reset transistor for resetting a right local bit line, a right local amplify transistor for reading a right memory cell through the right local bit line, a left local transfer gate for connecting the left local bit line to the global bit line, and a right local transfer gate for connecting the right local bit line to the global bit line, where the left local amplify transistor and the right local amplify transistor are connected to the global bit line.
5. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the local sense amp is composed of a comparator for comparing a left local bit line and a right local bit line, such that the local sense amp includes a left local reset transistor for resetting the left local bit line, a left local amplify transistor having a gate which is connected to the left local bit line and a source which is connected to the right local bit line, a left local select transistor serving as a selector for connecting the left local amplify transistor to a local pre-amp node, a right local reset transistor for resetting the right local bit line, a right local amplify transistor having a gate which is connected to the right local bit line and a source which is connected to the left local bit line, a right local select transistor serving as a selector for connecting the right local amplify transistor to the local pre-amp node, a local pre-set transistor for pre-setting the local pre-amp node, a local main-amp transistor for reading the local pre-amp node, a left local transfer gate for connecting the left local bit line to the global bit line, and a right local transfer gate for connecting the right local bit line to the global bit line.
6. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the global sense amp is connected to the global bit line, such that the global sense amp includes a read circuit, a latch circuit, and a write circuit without a select circuit, where the read circuit reads the global bit line, the latch circuit receives and stores an output from the read circuit or the pair of write data buses, the write circuit receives an output from the latch circuit and drives the global bit line when writing.
7. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the write circuit includes an inverter connecting to one of latch nodes of the latch circuit, and a global write enable switch receiving an output of the inverter.
8. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the latch circuit includes a cross coupled inverter latch connecting to a pair of latch nodes, a latch reset transistor for resetting one of the latch nodes, and a pair of series transistors having a row select transistor pair for connecting to the pair of the latch nodes and a column select transistor pair for connecting to a pair of data lines.
9. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the latch circuit includes a cross coupled inverter latch connecting to a pair of latch nodes, a latch reset transistor for resetting one of the latch nodes, a pair of write transistors for connecting to a pair of write data lines, and a read amplify transistor for reading one of the latch nodes, when a column read transistor is enabled.
10. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the latch circuit includes a cross coupled inverter latch connecting to a pair of latch nodes, a latch reset transistor for resetting one of the latch nodes, a pair of write series transistors having a row write transistor pair for connecting to the pair of the latch nodes and a column write transistor pair for connecting to a pair of data lines, a read amplify transistor for reading one of the latch nodes, and a row read transistor and a column read transistor are serially connected to the read amplify transistor for reading.
11. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the latch circuit is connected to a write data line pair and a read data line, such that the write data line pair is connected to a data write circuit including an inverting write tri-state inverter and a non-inverting write tri-state inverter for driving the write data line pair, and a pair of pre-charge transistors for pre-charging the write data line pair.
12. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the local amp voltage generator generates the local amp voltage, such that fuse circuits are used for setting the local amp voltage.
13. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the delay circuit includes tunable delay elements for adjusting delay time.
14. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the plate line of the memory cell is connected to a constant voltage source.
15. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the memory cell is composed of an access transistor connecting to a storage node, a ferroelectric capacitor connecting to the storage node, and a pre-charge transistor connecting to the storage node for configuring 2T1C (two transistor and one capacitor) memory cell.

The memory device of claim 1, wherein the memory cell configures a series connection for increasing density, such that the series connection is composed of a first memory cell having a first access transistor and a first ferroelectric capacitor, a second memory cell having a second access transistor and a second ferroelectric capacitor, a third memory cell having a third access transistor and a third ferroelectric capacitor, and a fourth memory cell having a fourth access transistor and a fourth ferroelectric capacitor; and the series connection is connected to the local bit line through a string select transistor; alternatively, more memory cells are serially connected to the series connection for increasing density further.
17. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the pass transistor of the memory cell is formed various materials, such as, single crystalline silicon, poly crystalline silicon, silicon-germanium and germanium.
18. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the ferroelectric capacitor of the memory cell is composed of a fingered shape capacitor.
19. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the ferroelectric capacitor of the memory cell is composed of various ferroelectric materials for configuring non-volatile memory, such as lead zirconate titanate (PZT), lead lanthanum zirconium titanate (PLZT), barium strontium titanate (BST), and strontium bismuth tantalate (SBT).
20. The memory device of claim 1, wherein the memory cell is stacked over another memory cell.

1. A method of making an integrated circuit comprising:
providing semiconductor wafer including active circuitry previously fabricated on the semiconductor wafer;
performing front end of line (FEOL) processes an the semiconductor wafer;
forming a plurality of conductive memory devices atop the active circuitry on the FEOL processed semiconductor wafer, each conductive memory device operable to be reversibly placed in multiple resistive states;
annealing after the plurality of conductive memory devices are formed;
forming a sidewall layer around the plurality of conductive memory devices; and
conducting metallizations after the plurality of conductive memory devices are formed.
2. The method of making an integrated circuit of claim 1, wherein each conductive memory device is a memory plug including a bottom electrode, a top electrode located above the bottom electrode and a multi-resistive state element sandwiched between the bottom electrode and the top electrode.
3. The method of making an integrated circuit of claim 2 further comprising:
forming a plurality of contact holes prior to the formation of a plurality of conductive memory devices, each contact hole corresponding to the location of a conductive memory plug, through the first inter-layer dielectric; and
depositing a conductive material within the contact holes.
4. The method of making an integrated circuit of claim 3 further comprising, between depositing the conductive material within the contact holes and depositing the conductive plug material, forming a barrieradhesion layer.
5. The method of making an integrated circuit of claim 3 wherein:
each contact hole has a top surface area;
each conductive memory device has a bottom surface area that is larger than the contact hole’s top surface area such that each conductive memory device has an overhang that is not in contact with the contact hole’s top surface area; and
a barrier layer is in contact with the plug’s overhang.
6. A method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices, each conductive memory device operable to be reversibly placed in multiple resistive states, the method comprising:
sputtering a bottom electrode layer;
sputtering a multi-resistive state element layer;
sputtering a top electrode layer;
modifying an interface property between the multi-resistive state element layer and the top electrode layer; and
photo lithographically patterning the top electrode.
7. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein modification of the interface performed by either ion implantation, in situ argon plasma treatment, in situ oxygen plasma treatment, in situ annealing in argon or in situ annealing in oxygen.
8. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein at least one of the sputtering process of sputtering the bottom electrode layer, sputtering the multi-resistive state element layer or sputtering the top electrode layer uses an off-axis sputtering technique.
9. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein at least two consecutive sputtering processes of sputtering the bottom electrode layer, sputtering the multi-resistive state element layer or sputtering the top electrode layer use a continuous deposition technique.
10. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein the multi-resistive state element sputtering process uses a co-sputtering deposition technique.
11. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 further comprising
wet etching the multi-resistive state element; and
wherein the wet etching is performed after the patterning, the patterning forming top electrode sides, bottom electrode sides and multi-resistive state element sides.
12. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 11 wherein the wet etching of the multi-resistive state element removes a thickness of 50\u2013150 \u212b, thereby forming an undercut so as to remove process-induced material defects from the multi-resistive state element’s sides.
13. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 further comprising high temperature reactive ion etching of the electrode, the multi-resistive state element and the bottom electrode after photo lithographically patterning the top electrode.
14. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein at least one of the bottom electrodes and the top electrodes include a conductive layer and a barrier layer to prevent metal inter-diffusion.
15. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 wherein sputtering the multi-resistive state element layer is carried out at less than or equal to about 600\xb0 C.
16. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 6 further comprising depositing an etch stopdiffusion barrier.
17. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 16 further comprising:
etching the electrode, the multi-resistive state element and the bottom electrode in order to create a patterned stack after photo lithographically patterning the top electrode;
depositing a second inter-layer dielectric;
planarizing the second inter-layer dielectric by chemical-mechanical polishing; and
forming a plurality of via holes, locationally and geometrically corresponding to the top electrodes of the conductive memory devices, with photolithography and a via etch.
18. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 17 further comprising depositing a conductive material within the plurality of via holes.
19. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 18 further comprising depositing a barrieradhesion layer on the patterned stack that includes the top electrode, multi-resistive state element and bottom electrode.
20. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 19 further comprising forming a plurality of conductive plugs within the formed plurality of via holes and atop the deposited barrieradhesion layer.
21. The method of making a plurality of conductive memory devices of claim 20 further comprising conducting subsequent metallizations after the plurality of conductive plugs are formed.

receiving billing information associated with a plurality of different billers, a first portion of the billing information representing bills for a first payor and a second portion of the billing information representing bills for a second payor;
receiving a first request from the first payor for current billing information representing bills for the first payor and a second request from the second payor for current billing information representing bills for the second payor; and
transmitting first bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the billing information to the first payor responsive to the first request and second bill presentment information corresponding to the second portion of the billing information to the second payor responsive to the second request.
2. A method according to claim 1, further comprising the steps of:
transmitting a first notice to the first payor of the availability of the first bill presentment information and a second notice to the second payor of the availability of the second bill presentment information;
wherein the first request is received responsive to the first notice and the second request is received responsive to the second notice.
3. A method according to claim 2, wherein:
the first notice is included in a first e-mail transmission to the first payor; and
the second notice is included in a second e-mail transmission to the second payor.
4. A method according to claim 2, wherein:
the first e-mail and the second e-mail are transmitted via the Internet.
5. A method according to claim 1, further comprising the steps of:
transmitting a first notice to the first payor of the availability of the first bill presentment information, wherein the first request is received subsequent to the transmission of the first notice; and
transmitting, subsequent to the receipt of the first request, a second notice to the first payor of the availability of the first bill presentment information if the bills represented by the first portion of the billing information remain unpaid for a specified period of time after transmission of the first bill presentment information to the first payor.
6. A method according to claim 1, wherein the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers, and further comprising the steps of:
receiving, subsequent to the receipt of the first billing information, second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, a first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor;
receiving a third request from the first payor for then current billing information; and
transmitting third bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the first billing information and the first portion of the second billing information to the first payor responsive to the third request.
7. A method according to claim 6, wherein a second portion of the second billing information represents bills for the second payor, and further comprising the steps of:
receiving notice of payment of the bills represented by the second portion of the first billing information;
receiving, subsequent to receipt of the notice of payment, a fourth request from the second payor for then current billing information; and
transmitting fourth bill presentment information corresponding to the second portion of the second billing information to the second payor, without transmitting the the second bill presentment information, responsive to the third request.
8. A method according to claim 1, wherein the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers, and further comprising the steps of:
receiving, subsequent to the receipt of the first billing information, second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, a first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor;
receiving notice of payment of some of the bills represented by the first portion of the first billing information;
receiving, subsequent to receipt of the notice of payment, a third request from the first payor for then current billing information; and
transmitting the first bill presentment information, excluding that corresponding to the first portion of first billing information representing bills for which the notice of payment has been received, and third bill presentation information corresponding to the first portion of the second billing information to the first payor responsive to the third request.
9. A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
storing the first bill presentment information in association with an identifier of the first payor and the second bill presentment information in association with an identifier of the second payor; and
reading the first bill presentment information from storage responsive to the first request and the second bill presentment information from storage responsive to the second request;
wherein the first bill presentment information read from storage is transmitted to the first payor and the second bill presentment information read from storage is transmitted to the second payor.
10. A method according to claim 1, wherein:
the transmitted first bill presentment information includes a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts owed by the first payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers; and
the transmitted second bill presentment information includes a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts owed by the second payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers.
11. A method according to claim 1, wherein:
the transmitted first bill presentment information includes a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts paid by the first payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers; and
transmitted second bill presentment information includes a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts paid by the second payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers.
12. A method according to claim 1, wherein:
the first portion of the billing information is associated with only one of the plurality of different billers; and
the second portion of the billing information is associated with only one of the plurality of different billers.
13. A method according to claim 1, wherein:
the billing information is detailed billing information; and
the first bill presentation information includes a summary of the first portion of the detailed billing information associated with at least two of the plurality of different billers; and
the second bill presentment information includes a summary of the second portion of the detailed billing information associated with at least two of the plurality of different billers.
14. A method according to claim 1, wherein the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers, and further comprising the steps of:
receiving, subsequent to the receipt of the first billing information, second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, a first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor;
transmitting, prior to the receipt of the second billing information, a first notice to the first payor of the availability of the first bill presentation information;
transmitting, subsequent to transmission of the first bill presentment information and the receipt of the second billing information, a second notice of the availability of the first bill presentment information and second bill presentment information corresponding to the second billing information;
receiving a third request from the first payor for then current billing information; and
transmitting the first and the second bill presentation information to the first payor responsive to the third request.
15. An electronic bill presentment system, comprising:
a memory configured to store billing information associated with a plurality of different billers, a first portion of the billing information representing bills for a first payor and a second portion of the billing information representing bills for a second payor;
a processor configured to generate first bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the billing information, second bill presentment information corresponding to the second portion of the billing information, a first signal directing transmission of the first bill presentment information responsive to a first request for current billing information, and a second signal directing transmission of the second bill presentment information responsive to a second request for current billing information; and
a network interface configured to receive the first request from the first payor and the second request from the second payor, and to transmit the first bill presentment information to the first payor responsive to the first signal and the second bill presentment information to the second payor responsive to the second signal.
16. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the processor is further configured to generate a first notice of availability of current billing information, a second notice of availability of current billing information, a third signal directing the transmission of the first notice of availability and a fourth signal direction the transmission of the second notice of availability; and
the network interface is further configured to transmit the first notice to the first payor responsive to the third signal and the second notice to the second payor responsive to the fourth signal.
17. A system according to claim 16, wherein:
the third signal includes a network e-mail address of the first payor and the fourth signal includes a network e-mail address of the second payor.
18. A system according to claim 17, wherein:
the network e-mail address is the Internet e-mail address.
19. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the processor is further configured to generate a first notice of availability of current billing information and a third signal directing the transmission of the first notice of availability and a second notice of availability of current billing information and a fourth signal directing the transmission of the first notice of availability; and
the network interface is further configured to transmit the first notice to the first payor responsive to the third signal and the second notice to the first payor responsive to the fourth signal; and
the first request is received subsequent to the transmission of the first notice and the second notice is transmitted subsequent to the receipt of the of the first request.
20. A system according to claim 19, wherein:
the processor is configured to generate the second notice and the fourth signal only if the bills represented by the first portion of the billing information remain unpaid for a period of time after generation of the third signal.
21. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers;
the processor is further configured to:
direct the storage of the first billing information and the second billing information in the memory, and
generate third bill presentment information corresponding to at least a part of the first portion of the first billing information and a first portion of second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, the first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor, and
generate a third signal directing the transmission of the third bill presentment information responsive to a third request for then current billing information; and

the network interface is further configured to:
receive the first billing information,
receive the second billing information,
receive the third request from the first payor, and

transmit the third bill presentation information the first payor responsive to the third signal.
22. A system according to claim 21, wherein:
a second portion of the second billing information represents bills for the second payor;
the processor is further configured to:
generate fourth bill presentment information corresponding to the second portion of the second billing information and excluding the second bill presentation information, and
generate a fourth signal directing transmission of the fourth bill presentment information, responsive to a fourth request for then current billing information.

the network interface is further configured to:
receive notice of payment of the bills represented by the second portion of the first billing information,
receive, subsequent to receipt of the notice of payment, the fourth request from the second payor, and
transmit the fourth bill presentment information to the second payor without transmitting the second bill presentment information, responsive to the fourth signal.
23. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers, wherein:
the processor is further configured to:
direct the storage in memory of the first billing information and second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, the first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor, and
generate third bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the first billing information, excluding that representing bills for which notice of payment has been received, and the first portion of second billing information, and
generate a third signal directing the transmission of the third bill presentment information responsive to a third request for then current billing information; and

the network interface is further configured to:
receive, subsequent to the receipt of the first billing information, the second billing information,
receive the notice of payment of some of the bills represented by the first portion of the first billing information,
receive, subsequent to receipt of the notice of payment, the third request from the first payor, and

transmit the third bill presentment information, responsive to the third signal.
24. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the processor is further configured to:
direct storage of the first bill presentment information in association with an identifier of the first payor and the second bill presentment information in association with an identifier of the second payor, and
read the first bill presentment information from storage responsive to the first request and the second bill presentment information from storage responsive to the second request;
the first signal directs the transmission of the first bill presentment information read from storage to the first payor and the second signal directs the second bill presentment information read from storage is transmitted to the second payor.
25. A system according to claim 15, wherein the processor is further configured to:
generate the first bill presentment information to include a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts owed by the first payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers, and
generate the second bill presentment information to include a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts owed by the second payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers.
26. A system according to claim 15, wherein the processor is further configured to:
generate the first bill presentment information to include a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts paid by the first payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers; and
generate the second bill presentment information to include a listing, displayable as single page, of respective billed amounts paid by the second payor to each of more than one of the plurality of the different billers.
27. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the first portion of the billing information is associated with only one of the plurality of different billers; and
the second portion of the billing information is associated with only one of the plurality of different billers.
28. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the billing information is detailed billing information; and
the processor is further configured to generate the first bill presentation information to include a summary of the first portion of the detailed billing information associated with at least two of the plurality of different billers, and the second bill presentment information to include a summary of the second portion of the detailed billing information associated with at least two of the plurality of different billers.
29. A system according to claim 15, wherein:
the billing information is first billing information and the plurality of different billers is a plurality of different first billers;
the processor is further configured to:
generate third bill presentation information corresponding to a first portion of second billing information associated with a plurality of different second billers, the first portion of the second billing information representing bills for the first payor,
generate, prior to receipt of the second billing information, a first notice of the availability of the first bill presentation information and a third signal directing transmission of the first notice,
generate, subsequent to transmission of the first bill presentment information and the receipt of the second billing information, a second notice of the availability of the first bill presentment information and the third bill presentment information and a fourth signal directing transmission of the second notice, and
generating a fifth signal directing the transmission of the first and third bill presentment information responsive to a third request for current billing information responsive to a third request for then current billing information;

the network interface is further configured to:
receive the first billing information,
receive the second billing information subsequent to receipt of the first billing,

transmit, prior to the receipt of the second billing information, the first notice to the first payor responsive to the third signal,
transmit the second notice to the first payor responsive to the fourth signal,
receive, subsequent to transmission of the second notice, the third request from the first payor, and
transmit the first and the third bill presentation information to the first payor responsive to the fifth signal.
30. An electronic bill presentment network, comprising:
a communications network;
a plurality of biller stations each configured to transmit billing information associated with a respective one of a plurality of different billers via the network;
a network server configured to (i) receive the transmitted billing information, (ii) store the received billing information such that a first portion of the billing information representing bills for a first payor is associated with the first payor and a second portion of the billing information representing bills for a second payor is associated with the second payor;
a first client station configured to transmit, via the network, a first payor request for current billing information;
a second client station configured to transmit, via the network, a second payor request for current billing information;
wherein the network server is further configured to receive the first payor request and to transmit first bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the billing information via the network responsive to the first request, and to receive the second payor request and to transmit second bill presentment information and second bill presentment information corresponding to the second portion of the billing information via the network responsive to the second request.
31. A network according to claim 30, wherein:
the network station is further configured to transmit a first notice of availability of current billing information to the first payor via the network and a second notice of availability of current billing information to the second payor via the network subsequent to receipt of the billing information.
32. A system according to claim 30, wherein:
the communications network is the Internet.
33. A system according to claim 30, wherein:
the first client station is configured to transmit, subsequent to the transmission of the first payor request, a second payor request for then current billing information via the network; and
the network server is further configured to receive notification of the payment of some of the bills represented by the first portion of the billing information, to receive the second payor request after receipt of the notice of payment, and to transmit the first bill presentment information corresponding to the first portion of the billing information representing only the remaining unpaid bills via the network responsive to the second payor request.
