1. A method for providing content to an entertainment device, the method comprising:
receiving a request from an entertainment device to access content over a first communication channel;
initiating transmission of the content to the entertainment device over the first communication channel;
determining that bandwidth exists to transmit the content over a second communication channel, the second communication channel having a larger bandwidth than the first communication channel; and
initiating transmission of the content to the entertainment device over the second communication channel, wherein the entertainment device completes download of the content over the second communication channel.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein determining that bandwidth exists to transmit the content over a second communication channel further comprises:
tabulating a number of users accessing the content over the first communication channel based on the request;
determining a priority of the content for transmission over the second communication channel based on the number of users accessing the content over the first communication channel; and
selecting the content for transmission over the second communication channel based on the priority of the content.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the first communication channel provides a unicast of the content, and wherein the second communication channel provides a broadcast of the content.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the first communication channel is provided over an internet connection and the second communication channel is provided over a satellite broadcast system.
5. A method for providing content to an entertainment device, the method comprising:
receiving a request from an entertainment device for access to a selected video of a plurality of videos;
initiating transmission of the selected video to the entertainment device over a first communication channel;
tabulating votes for the plurality of videos based on the request;
allocating a portion of bandwidth of a second communication channel for transmission of the selected video based on the votes, wherein the second communication channel has a larger bandwidth than the first communication channel; and
initiating transmission of the selected video over the second communication channel.
6. The method of claim 5, further comprising:
ending transmission of the selected video to the entertainment device over the first communication channel, wherein the entertainment device completes download of the selected video over the second communication channel.
7. The method of claim 5, wherein allocating the portion of bandwidth of the second communication channel further comprises:
queuing the selected video for delivery over the second communication channel based on a priority of the selected video, wherein the priority is determined based on the votes for the plurality of videos; and
allocating the portion of the bandwidth of the second communication channel to the selected video responsive to reaching a location in the queue of the selected video.
8. The method of claim 5, wherein allocating the portion of bandwidth of the second communication channel further comprises:
allocating the portion of the bandwidth of the second communication channel for transmission of the selected video responsive to determining that the selected video has received a larger number of votes than the other plurality of videos.
9. The method of claim 5, further comprising:
expiring a vote for the selected video based on the request responsive to completing transmission of the selected video over the first communication channel.
10. The method of claim 5, further comprising:
determining a level of completion of a download of the selected video by the entertainment device, and selecting to continue downloading the selected video from the first communication channel based on the level of completion.
11. An entertainment device comprising:
an interface module that receives user input requesting to access content available from a remote server;
a first communication module communicatively coupled to the interface module that transmits a request to the remote server over a first communication channel requesting access to the content, the first communication module further initiating reception of the content from the remote server over the first communication channel;
a processor communicatively coupled to the first communication module that receives information indicating that the content will be provided over a second communication channel, the second communication channel having a larger bandwidth than the first communication channel; and
a second communication module communicatively coupled to the processor that completes the reception of the content over the second communication channel;
wherein the processor outputs the content for presentation on a presentation device.
12. The entertainment device of claim 11 further comprising:
a storage medium that stores the received content for subsequent presentation to a user.
13. The entertainment device of claim 12, wherein the first communication module receives a unicast of the content, and wherein the second communication module receives a broadcast of the content.
14. The entertainment device of claim 12, wherein the first communication channel is provided over an internet connection and the second communication channel is provided over a satellite broadcast system.
15. An apparatus comprising:
a storage medium that stores a plurality of videos;
a first communication module that receives a request from an entertainment device over a first communication channel for access to a selected video of the plurality of videos and that initiates transmission of the selected video to the entertainment device over the first communication channel;
a processor communicatively coupled to the first communication module that tabulates votes for the plurality of videos based on the request and that allocates a priority for bandwidth of a second communication channel for transmission of the selected video based on the votes, wherein the second communication channel has a larger bandwidth than the first communication channel; and
a second communication module that initiates transmission of the selected video over the second communication channel based on the priority.
16. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor ends transmission of the selected video to the entertainment device over the first communication channel responsive to initiation of transmission of the selected video by the second communication module, wherein the entertainment device completes download of the selected video over the second communication channel.
17. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor queues the selected video for delivery over the second communication channel based on the priority and further allocates the bandwidth of the second communication channel to the selected video responsive to reaching a location in the queue of the selected video.
18. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor queues the selected video for delivery over the second communication channel based on the priority and further allocates the portion of the bandwidth of the second communication channel to the selected video responsive to determining that the selected video has received a larger number of votes than the other plurality of videos.
19. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor expires a vote for the selected video based on the request responsive to completing transmission of the selected video over the first communication channel.
20. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the processor determines a level of completion of a download of the selected video by the entertainment device and further selects to continue transmission of the selected video over the first communication channel based on the level of completion.
21. A system comprising:
an entertainment device that generates a request to access content;
a first communication network communicatively coupled to the entertainment device that provides a first communication channel;
a second communication network communicatively coupled to the entertainment device that provides a second communication channel, wherein the second communication channel has a larger bandwidth than the first communication channel; and
a content source communicatively coupled to the entertainment device over the first and second communication channels that:
receives the request from the entertainment device over the first communication channel;
initiates transmission of the content to the entertainment device through a unicast over the first communication channel responsive to the request;
allocates bandwidth for transmitting the content over the second communication channel;
initiates transmission of the content over the second communication channel; and
ends transmission of the content over the first communication channel;

wherein the entertainment device completes download of the content over the second communication channel.
22. The system of claim 21, wherein the content source:
tabulates a number of users accessing the content over the first communication channel based on the request, wherein the content is at least one of a plurality of content files available for access;
determines a priority of the content for transmission over the second communication channel based on the number of users accessing the content over the first communication channel; and
allocates the bandwidth of the second communication channel for transmission of the content based on the priority.
23. The system of claim 21, wherein the first communication channel is provided over an internet connection and the second communication channel is provided over a satellite broadcast system.

1. Superconducting current limiting device comprising:
at least one superconductor component, wherein each superconductor component has at least one superconductor body and a coil wound on said at least one superconductor body, wherein said coil is electrically connected in parallel to said at least one superconductor body; and
wherein said at least one superconductor body has a cross sectional surface area with an external shape allowing a circular current to flow, and wherein said coil is in tight contact with said external surface of said at least one superconductor body.
2. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said cross sectional surface area of said superconductor body has either a round or oval geometry.
3. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said superconductor body has a shape selected from any one of a tube, a rod, a bar and bifilar coil.
4. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said superconductor body is made of a superconductor material selected from any one of YBCO-type, MgB2-type and BSCCO-type.
5. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 4, wherein said superconductor material includes one or more additional or substitute elements.
6. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said superconductor body is made of a melt cast processed material.
7. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 6, wherein said superconductor body is of a BSCCO-type material.
8. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said coil is made of a material selected from a metal or a superconducting material.
9. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said coil is wound on said superconductor body with at least one winding per 2 cm length of superconductor body and with a maximum of 10 windings per 1 cm length of superconductor body.
10. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said outer surface of said superconductor body is removed.
11. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said superconductor body is provided with a reinforcement material.
12. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 11, wherein said reinforcement material is perforated.
13. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 11, wherein a reinforcement material having the shape of a tube and said superconductor body having the shape of a tube, are introduced into each other, wherein both tubes have different diameters forming a gap between both tubes.
14. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein the working temperature of said superconductor body is between 85 to 65 K.
15. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein said at least one superconductor component further comprises two or more superconductor bodies connected in series which are connected in parallel with one coil including all superconductor bodies.
16. Superconducting current limiting device according to claim 1, wherein in said superconductor current limiting device, said superconductor components are connected to each other in either series or in parallel.
17. Use of a superconducting limiting device in accordance with claim 1 for AC applications.

1. An exhaust enhancement device for a motorcycle exhaust pipe comprising a tubular cylindrical body having cylindrical end portions of substantially uniform diameter configured to be received within a motorcycle exhaust pipe adjacent the exit end thereof, and a reduced diameter portion located between said cylindrical end portions and an anti-reversion piece mounted on said tubular cylindrical body and projecting radially inwardly therefrom to at least the center of the tubular body and into path of exhaust gases through the tubular cylindrical body.
2. The device of claim 1, including a threaded hole provided in said tubular cylindrical body adapted for receiving a threaded fastener for securing the device within the exhaust pipe.
3. The device of claim 1, including at least one additional threaded hole provided in said tubular cylindrical body, and wherein said anti-reversion piece is threaded into said at least one additional threaded hole and projects into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body.
4. The device of claim 3, wherein said anti-reversion piece comprises a threaded shaft and a washer welded to said shaft.
5. The device of claim 3, wherein said anti-reversion piece comprises a shaft having a threaded portion threaded into said threaded hole and an unthreaded portion projecting into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body.
6. The device of claim 3, additionally including a lock nut threaded onto said anti-reversion piece and tightened against said threaded hole.
7. The device of claim 2, wherein said threaded hole comprises a hole formed in said tubular cylindrical body and a threaded nut positioned over said hole and welded to the interior surface of the cylindrical body.
8. An exhaust enhancement device for a motorcycle exhaust pipe comprising a tubular cylindrical body formed of steel tubing, said body having cylindrical end portions of substantially uniform diameter joined by an integral central portion of substantially uniform diameter, a first hole formed in said cylindrical body, a first threaded nut positioned over said hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, a fastener having threads configured for engagement with said first threaded nut for securing the exhaust enhancement device inside the motorcycle exhaust pipe, a second hole formed in said cylindrical body, a second threaded nut positioned over said second hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an anti-reversion piece threaded into said second threaded nut and projecting inwardly into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body to at least the center of the tubular body and into path of exhaust gases therethrough.
9. The device of claim 8, wherein said anti-reversion piece comprises a threaded shaft and a washer welded to said shaft.
10. An exhaust enhancement device for a motorcycle exhaust pipe comprising a tubular cylindrical body formed of steel tubing, said body having cylindrical end portions of substantially uniform diameter joined by an integral reduced diameter portion of substantially uniform diameter, a first hole formed in said cylindrical body, a first threaded nut positioned over said hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, a fastener having threads configured for engagement with said first threaded nut for securing the exhaust enhancement device inside the motorcycle exhaust pipe, a second hole formed in said cylindrical body, a second threaded nut positioned over said second hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an anti-reversion piece threaded into said second threaded nut and projecting into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body, the anti-reversion piece comprising a threaded shaft and a washer welded to said shaft, wherein said second hole is formed in one of said end portions, and including a third hole formed in the other one of said end portions of said cylindrical body, a third threaded nut positioned over said third hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an additional anti-reversion piece threaded into said third threaded nut and projecting into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body.
11. A motorcycle exhaust system comprising an exhaust pipe having an exit end, and an exhaust enhancement device mounted in said exhaust pipe adjacent the exit end thereof, said exhaust enhancement device comprising a tubular cylindrical body formed of steel tubing, said body having cylindrical end portions of substantially uniform diameter joined by an integral central portion of substantially uniform diameter, a first hole formed in said cylindrical body, a first threaded nut positioned over said hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, a threaded fastener extending through said exhaust pipe and threaded into said first threaded nut for securing the exhaust enhancement device inside the motorcycle exhaust pipe, a second hole formed in said cylindrical body, a second threaded nut positioned over said second hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an anti-reversion piece threaded into said second threaded nut and projecting inwardly into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body to at least the center of the tubular bode and into path of exhaust gases therethrough.
12. The system of claim 11, wherein said anti-reversion piece comprises a threaded shaft and a washer welded to said shaft.
13. A motorcycle exhaust system comprising an exhaust pipe having an exit end, and an exhaust enhancement device mounted in said exhaust pipe adjacent the exit end thereof, said exhaust enhancement device comprising a tubular cylindrical body formed of steel tubing, said body having cylindrical end portions of substantially uniform diameter joined by an integral reduced diameter portion of substantially uniform diameter, a first hole formed in said cylindrical body, a first threaded nut positioned over said hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, a threaded fastener extending through said exhaust pipe and threaded into said first threaded nut for securing the exhaust enhancement device inside the motorcycle exhaust pipe, a second hole formed in said cylindrical body, a second threaded nut positioned over said second hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an anti-reversion piece threaded into said second threaded nut and projecting into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body the anti-reversion piece comprising a threaded shaft and a washer welded to said shaft, wherein said second hole is formed in one of said end portions, and including a third hole formed in the other one of said end portions of said cylindrical body, a third threaded nut positioned over said third hole on the interior of said cylindrical body and secured in place by welding, and an additional anti-reversion piece threaded into said third threaded nut and projecting into the interior of the tubular cylindrical body.

a base;
a rotatable table for supporting a workpiece, the table being rotatably disposed on the base;
a saw assembly rotatably connected to the table, the saw assembly comprising a motor and a blade driven by the motor, the blade being movable along a cutting plane;
a fence assembly comprising a first fence disposed to the left of the blade and attached to the base via a first screw, the first fence defining a fence plane, a second fence disposed to the right of the blade and attached to the base via a second screw, the first and second fences defining a gap therebetween and being connected via a central portion disposed behind the gap and disposed between the first and second screws and at least partly above the table, the central portion having a protrusion extending substantially rearwardly and at least partly above the table for attaching the central portion being attached to the base at an attachment portion which is disposed behind the gap and is intersected by the cutting plane, so that a distance between the attachment portion and the fence plane is larger than a distance between the first screw and the fence plane.
2. The saw of claim 1, wherein the central portion is attached to the base via a third screw.
3. The saw of claim 1, wherein the saw assembly is movable towards the fence assembly.
4. The saw of claim 1, wherein the base has notches.
5. The saw of claim 4, wherein the notches receive a detent for determining the rotational position of the table relative to the base.
